Likewise, we may have a strong sense of personal autonomy and complete free will – yet in reality, we (who have each been assigned specific DNA and propensities) are responding to everything around us in perfect harmony within an orchestrated environment designed, created and sustained by our Father, Who loves us all and is truly sovereign over His Universe.

Many people say that God created the Universe “out of nothing.” But Scripture paints a deeper picture:

God created everything out of Himself.

That’s why He is so deeply connected to His creation. It came from within Him. It matters to Him – every bit of it.

In Job 14:15, Job speaks of his confidence in God’s care:

You shall call, and I shall answer You; You shall long for the work of Your hands.

God longs for what He has made. For all that He has made.

The Heavens declare the glory of God (Psalm 19:1).

Since the beginning of time, people have looked up at the night sky and been amazed by what they see. If you step outside on a clear night, you’ll see just a tiny part of the Universe – and even that little bit is enough to leave you in awe.

Scripture tells us that the Heavens are not silent. They speak, without words, about God’s glory. Psalm 19:1-3 says,

The Heavens declare the glory of God; and the sky above shows His handiwork. Day after day they pour out speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard.

You don’t need to speak any particular language to understand the message of creation; it’s universal. The stars, planets, oceans, mountains and all of life on earth quietly announce that there is a Creator.

Satan is described in the Bible as “the god of this age” (II Corinthians 4:4). But don’t be fooled – Satan has only the power that God decreed. He is not a rival to God. He is a created being, with a divinely predetermined role to play in God’s plan.

There are spiritual powers, rulers and authorities – but they all come from God. They are not equal to Him. They are not outside of His design and control. All power, all authority, and all creation come from one ultimate Source: God the Father.

They were made not just for survival, but for delight.

Why does your dog spin in circles when you come home?

Why does your cat nuzzle your cheek with her head?

Why does it feel like your pet knows when something’s wrong?

Because they weren’t just made for ecosystems or food chains. They were made for you.

We know that every single chapter of our story is written by a Father Who is good, wise and loving; that even when things feel unfair or unjust, He is working it all out for good; that He hasn’t forgotten us or left us. He’s not pacing heaven, nervously wringing His hands. He’s in charge. That’s freedom.

Not the kind that depends on perfect circumstances. Not the kind that waits for governments to change.

But the kind that anchors your soul in unshakable love. So yes, even in the midst of tyranny, we are free.

Free to trust. Free to rest. Free to stop judging and start loving.

Free to be full of joy, even when the world around us is full of chaos.

Because freedom isn’t a place. It’s a Person.

And He lives in us.

God never tries to prove that He exists. He doesn’t need to. To “prove” His existence would suggest that He’s accountable to His creation. But He’s not. He is God.

The Bible doesn’t start with an argument for God. It starts with a fact:

In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the Earth (Genesis 1:1).

Creation is evidence of the Creator. That’s enough.

God is not improvising. His plan was set before the disruption of the world (Ephesians 1:4). He knew every twist and turn before it happened.

And the goal of it all? That everything – every created thing, every story, every person – will return to Him.

All is out of Him. All is through Him. All is back to Him (Romans 11:36).

That’s The Divine Cycle. And when you see it, really see it, it brings a deep peace.

You don’t have to fear what’s ahead.
You don’t have to fix everything.
You don’t have to worry about who “wins.”

God already has it figured out.

And He’s bringing everything – including you – back to Himself.
