They built a 1:20 million scale model of the solar system across the country, with the sun modeled as the giant hockey stadium in stockholm.

Check it out!

Cat Trashing

2010-09-15T14:05:00.000-07:00

Apparently some woman in London has some beef with cats. This security camera footage had no original sound, so we'll never know why. InfoMania added their take on the situation.

MGMT WTF

2010-09-06T20:01:00.001-07:00

You've probably never seen the whole music video for MGMT's Kids before.... This is why.
The first part is ABSOLUTELY TERRIFYING and then the last part is a lovely and strange trip.

I don't know what the f is going on in this.

Justin X 8

2010-09-03T23:13:00.000-07:00

From K.

Justin Bieber slowed down 8 times. Sounds like an epic trippy movie score. Kinda Indian sounding.

Swedish Idol Agnes and french sexy beats

2010-04-19T21:51:00.000-07:00

Here is a fabulously gay new-disco tune to dance to. She's a star from Sweden's version of Idol. I bet her name is pronounced An-yes in Swedish. Video is pretty normal, but I enjoy the song.

And this is somebody I hadn't heard of before. Charlotte Gainsbourg. Apparently French. Très bien.

Charlotte Gainsbourg - Trick Pony
Charlotte Gainsbourg - Voyage

A cable car ride

2010-04-19T19:32:00.000-07:00

Take a ride on a San Francisco cable car in 1906! This 7 minute video is a super long shot for the day, with a lovely soundtrack of Air. It's so funny how people just wander the roads. A time before strict motor laws...

New cool random tunes.

2010-04-13T19:32:00.000-07:00

Disappearing dots illusion...

2010-03-13T01:26:00.000-08:00

Check out this crazy optical illusion! Colored dots will disappear before your eyes!

Click the image below to get to the illusion.

Click for more!

If your eyes follow the movement of the rotating pink dot, you will only see one color – pink. If you stare at the black + in the center, the moving dot turns to green. Now, concentrate on the black + in the center of the picture. After a short period of time, all the pink dots will slowly disappear, and you will only see a green dot rotating if you’re lucky! It’s amazing how our brain works. There really is no green dot, and the pink ones really don’t disappear. This should be proof enough, we don’t always see what we think we see.

Hubble deep field

2010-03-13T01:20:00.000-08:00

You've probably seen this photo before, but here is a nice high-res version to dive into! Remember, this was what they saw when they pointed hubble at an empty patch of sky the size of a tennis ball as seen from 100 meters away.
