The president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), recently removed from his position, notified that due to government hindrance the national team could miss out the World Cup next year in Russia.

After being accused of misuse of funds, unsound managerial practices, falsifying papers and corruption, Angel Maria Villar was suspended in July and is currently awaiting legal procedures.

Not long ago FIFA forewarned issuing a letter to RFEF to express its worries in relation to the autonomy of the federation. The letter emphasized that the federation should concentrate on managing its own business and assuring it is not affected by external parties.

Villar is concerned that Spain could be refused participation to the World Cup and another country’s national team like Italy for example will be eager to grab the opportunity at the World Cup next summer.

In his words on press conference last Monday, the whole responsibility for the potential missing out on the World Cup lies on the present Government.

On the other side LaLiga president Javier Tebas disagreed that Villar represents the old times of FIFA and his behaviour has always been dominated by fear and threats. He firmly belies that this is one more that is not going to occur. FIFA will not remove Spain as the now FIFA is taking a new direction.

He also believes that the Government actions and decisions were lawful and should be supported.

In his opinion, Spain merely adheres to the word of law and Villar is once again blaming the Government and continues living in his own bubble.

Jose Lete Spain’s Secretary of State for sport commented too that Spin’s participation is not at risk.

He stated that the national team earned its place and Spain’s spot at the World Cup is warranted.

The Netherlands ended up third in the Group A standings of the UEFA World Cup Qualifiers and after lining up just behind France and Sweden they were knocked out form the game. Missing out on the World Cup for a second consecutive time after failing at the European Championship last year, the Dutch got settled among the greatest disappointments during the 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.

The football fans are disappointed and the time for transformation has come for the Netherlands. The team is too important to fail as it does lately. Even players like Bas Dost , Wesley Sneijder , Arjen Robben and Virgil van Dijk are not enough to save the day and some of them are too old to hold the standards beyond 2022 World Cup. Robin van Preise (34), Sneijder (33) are some of them and the 33 old Roben has already declared his retirement.

In case the team wants to be one of the big players in the near future, a new strategy has to be adopted for the next decade. By chance, for the Dutch there are many gifted players to choose from who will help them put behind the dreadful times they have had recently.

How do the prospects look?

Goalkeepers and Defenders

Following normal logic, one would expect Jasper Cillessen to be the future goalkeeper for the Netherlands. While Jeroen Zoet is lacking the international background and the depth of talent of Cillessen, Maarten Stekelenburg will be getting too old for the forthcoming appearances. Finally, any of them could be hardly compared to a player like Edwin van der Sar, but Cillessen seems like the strong choice for the position.

In terms of defence several curious names appear too. Still playing for Southampton, van Dijk will probably join a Top League side very soon. Since the times of Jaap Satm, he is bringing force for a lacking force at the back for the Duch team. Matthijs de Ligt is a possible choice for his partner for the next few years. The 18-year-old talent already has two call-ups behind his back and it is believed that he has the aptitude to become one of the greatest centre-backs in the world.

It might be rather hard to satisfy the full-back roles, though. There are Daley Blind (Manchester United) and Kenny Tete (Olympique Lyon) who seem to have the leadership experience and suit the roles to go forth. Blind is professing maturity and adaptability as he is playing on several roles simultaneously and both of them are having starter roles in their own teams.

There is a solid base and options for the Dutch to choose from for defenders to go forward including Jeffrey Bruma, Nathan Ake, Stefan de Vrij and Bruno Martins. At the same time, the full back roles suggest peculiar choices such as Rick Karsdorp, Jetro Willems and Timothy Fosu-Mensah.

Midfielders

The midfielders unit we will consider from two perspectives. On one side the defensive players, and on the other the attacking-minded players.

Two names are distinct when we investigate the possible choices for central midfield: Kevin Strootman, from AS Roma and Georginio Wijnaldum, from Liverpool. Both are leading players on their teams and have played in two of the best leagues in the world. Donny van de Beek stands for a future alternative and Blind is a possible choice as well. The 20-year-old Ajax playmaker was an outstanding performer for the Eredivisie giants last season and it is advisable to be introduced gradually to the National Team setup. Leroy Fer, Tonny Vilhena and Marten de Roon have quite good background too.

Although Davy Klassen seems to have not yet got completely used to the Premium League, his talent is obvious and looking at attacking choices, the Everton player is the best one to take the place of Sneijder.

Although, Marco van Ginkel not always advanced as fast as it was hoped he remains another gifted player who has got a lot more to show in the years to come. Provided that he keeps the passion, he can become the country’s best playmaker. Davy Pöpper’s opener with Brighton has been quite pleasing too.

Forwards

On the side of wingers, the Netherlands’s records are full with prospective players and this is still valid at present times. Jeremain Lens, Quincy Promes, Jürgen Locadia and Memphis Depay are capable of playing on either flank. In terms of strikers, Dost and Janssen should keep their titles for the near future. For sure, the Netherlands need a more productive goal scorer. After a few great years at Sporting Lisbon, Dost has at least won the contest to be the starting forward in the coming few matches.

The Time Line-Up:

Assuming all the above players are in good health, we will make up a simple example to analyse how this time could line-up using 4-3-3 tactic:

AM: Davy Klaassen

CB: Virgil van Dijk

CB: Stefan de Vrij/Bruno Martins Indi

CM: Kevin Strootman

CM: Georginio Wijnaldum

GK: Jasper Cillessen

LB: Daley Blind

LW: Jeremain Lens

RB: Rick Karsdorp

RW: Memphis Depay

ST: Bas Dost

Obviously, at the time this is not the greatest team in Europe but they are stepping forwards in the competition for the 2022 FIFA World Cup and the European Championship in the next few years. If the team keeps the pace we can expect to see them among the best in Europe in the near years exactly as they used to be.

It is a fact that many were not fascinated as Cristiano Ronaldo was honoured for a second successive time The Best Player of the Year in 2017 by FIFA.

Just Excellence

This year Cristiano Ronaldo the obvious favourite and ahead of his top opponent Leo Messi continued to dominate the field and claim individual recognition.

Seemingly, there is some indifference and lack of enthusiasm that acts as evidence for under appreciation for Cristiano Ronaldo’s notable performance during the last year. Numbers speak for themselves though and serve as a bold demonstration of the Portuguese star’s continuous ingenuity and strive for perfection as he is approaching the Ballon d’Or prize as well.

The decade when Messi and Ronaldo ruled the football scene is gone, but still, statements that both the Argentine and the Portuguese are exceptional in their own superiority are provable.

Especially, when discussing the five-time winner of the FIFA best award Cristiano Ronaldo – the evidences are voluminous.

Impressive Achievements

Real Madrid got it to the La Liga crown in 2017 led by Cristiano Ronaldo and the club is right behind Barcelona at 6/4 betting odds to defend the title.

The Portuguese has taken also the aspired Champions League title, the Spanish Super Cup, the European Super Cup, and he also seized a FIFA World Club Cup title.

During the overwhelming Euro 2016 contest Cristiano Ronaldo led Portugal to the European fame in France and once again was the key player in his country’s march towards the 2018 FIFA World Cup

The list goes on with some outstanding accomplishments like Cristiano Ronaldo’s hat-tricks against Bayern Munich and two times more against Atletico Madrid. The unforgettable pivotal Champions League goals against Juventus and Borussia Dortmund and his individual achievements provide even more arguments for the captain’s choice of the national selections voting Ronaldo FIFA’s Best Player of the Year. He is the Champions League top scorer for the fifth consecutive time, UEFA best footballer and striker and also won the Ballon d’Or in 2017. The Portuguese is also the top scorer of the 2017 FIFA World Club Cup in UAE and finishing the 2018 World Cup qualifiers with 15 goals to his name only comes as the icing on the cake.

During The 2017 the Portuguese superstar became the first player who scored in three finals in the Champions League era. Cristiano Ronaldo was also the main contributor with playing a crucial role and leading his club to become the first one to win consecutive Champions League titles.

More remarkable 2017 numbers below:

Reached 100 Champions League goals

Reached 600 career goals benchmark

44 goals from 48 games

33 goals from 37 club matches

11 goals in 11 international games

These results undoubtedly impress and turn around any apathy and scepticism.

Such uncompromising attitude and Cristiano Ronaldo’s unsatisfiable strive to be and remain the world’s best player is also the main reason people to dislike him. Still, it is unmistakable evidence for the best qualities of his character and exceptional professionalism.

Unappeasable Ambition

Cristiano Ronaldo is unforgiving when it comes to his status as the second-best and considers it a mark of weakness and uses every chance to declare his apparent perfection both on the field and outside of it.

Cristiano Ronaldo is well familiar with the fact that time is against him and his desire to be the first is now greater than ever. The Portuguese superstar is 32, Leo Messi is 30 and it is unlikely that they will remain the obvious choice for the individual prizes for the future.

Young talents are rising such as Neymar who left Barcelona in pursuit of popularity and is doing a fantastic job at his new career at PSG. There is his teammate – the Golden Boy Kylian Mbappe who is also demonstrating uncompromising attitude and is advancing in a relentless manner.

Is it a matter of time before any of those rising players will dethrone Ronaldo (and Messi)?

Manchester City has turned into the Barcelona of English football this season after eleven victories and a draw against Everton at the openings of the Premier League. This feat comes right after the first year without a trophy in Pep Guardiola’s career.

It seems that the Spanish manager has taken his job seriously and is keeping it up. This is precisely the start of the new campaign Manchester City fans have been waiting for. Citizen’s fans are not only celebrating the results but have been delighted by the impressive play of their team.

Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus goals assured the removal of a primary opponent in the face of Italy at the Etihad on Tuesday night. Their counterparts Napoli also famous for their intense style and effective play could not withstand the Citizens’ determination and stamina. Thus the ten consecutive victories for Manchester City came as a testimony of Pep Guardiola’s leadership at the Etihad.

The Big Reconstruction

Season 2016/17 was aggravating and tense for the Spanish manager as he made some major cuts during the summer.

Veterans like Jesus Navas, Gael Clichy, Willy Caballero and Pablo Zabaleta left the club on a free transfer, and Manchester City stars like Wilfried Bony, Samir Nasri, Fernando, Nolito, Aleksandar Kolarov, Kelechi Iheanacho and Enes Unal also left the team.

In addition, it must be noted that Joe Hart parted the club as well although still present in Manchester City’s records. Currently at West Ham it is clear that the English international goalkeeper is not going to return to Etihad.

Manchester City boss did not overlook the impending need for changes in the team and was ruthless. Eager to upgrade the squad and improve its performance Guardiola brought Benjamin Mendy, Kyle Walker and Danilo designing an indestructible front in addition to another summer appearance, the ex Benfica goalkeeper Ederson.

Manchester City reached £224.37 million spending as the Monaco playmaker Bernardo Silva was finally added to the list of new arrivals. Due to summer discount sales the total expense should be less with £86.72 million, however the club is already benefiting from the investment.

Guardiola’s drive for excellence turned out to be a pricey project and many expected that such an excessive spending must warrant results. Although the full effects lie ahead the changes were much needed and the Etihad based team is now equipped with players with average age 26.9 and their potential and talent for the future justify the superfluity.

The Most Important Development

Pep Guardiola laid the foundations of a change he was aiming for by bringing players who fit his tactical style.

He is a man who prefers power and dominant-style play. It is evident that the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss like to command the pace and dictate the proceedings by putting a lot of strain on the opponent side.

The changes he made during the summer allowed him to get the best out of players he already had in his squad and – in case of Raheem Sterling and Fabian Delph – upgraded the class of their play.

The team’s biggest star Kevin De Bruyne, Delph and Sterling are may be the three most prominent examples of Pep Guardiola’s impact on Manchester City.

Bringing Back Delph the Man

Midfielder by nature and until recently almost forgotten, Fabian Delph is proving himself an important first-team player. The Englishman is brought back to replace the long-term injured left-back Benjamin Mendy.

The decision to position Delph in an unfamiliar position was given a sceptical reception but the 27-year old performed brilliantly. Delph’s tempo and technical skill turned out to be an ideal match for Guardiola’s plan. Delph demonstrated his on-ball and passing capabilities and performed his full-back role wholeheartedly thus aiding Manchester City’s overhaul.

The Recreated Raheem

Pep Guardiola’s attack-oriented system turned around another English international who was striving to prove his value. Raheem Sterling is no longer a struggling winger but a great poacher with a light and positive attitude.

Until now Raheem Sterling has scored eight goals in all competitions for Manchester City with joint leading scores this term for Manchester City.

Sterling is following strictly Guardiola’s instructions and is rambling freely. Manchester City boss prefers to see his wingers play more centrally which led City’s frontline becoming a destructive force scoring 29 goals in eight matches in the Premier League.

De Bruyne – The Boy

Former Chelsea blackball Kevin de Bruyne went a long path before his transformation into the most valuable player in the league in Mark Hughes’ book.

The Belgian’s brilliant style has impressed everyone and even the opposing teams and coaches are giving him prise. The City main man and midfielder is performing the best football of his life at Manchester City this year.

Kevin De Bruyne appeared in 100 plays for Manchester City already and scored two goals and impressive 7 assists to his name this season already. Four of those seven De Bruyne made in his 100th City appearance against Stoke City, but he also added an assist in his team’s Champions League victory last night.

Giving him all the freedom he needs to take responsibility has done wonders for De Bruyne’s confidence. His ingenuity, wit and pinpoint passing are the three things that make him a worthwhile investment for Manchester City this season.

Coaching the Key

It seems that Pep Guardiola now has the prescription for success. Little is left to be doubted after witnessing the way Pep Guardiola prepared his team for last three matches – Chelsea, Stoke City and Napoli. The Spaniard tactical wisdom took the Citizens to new peaks with fluidity and elegance but also with remarkable effectiveness.

Guardiola’s players share their manager’s vision and drive for success.

After those results and the attitude they have currently showed 13/8 betting odds on over 4.5 goals against Burnely next weekend is very close to a sure bet.

Even before the end of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers and several squads yet to be selected in the remaining playoff rounds, the teams that will qualify for the tournament are already clear. Despite several unexpected good performances, there are also the other surprisingly disappointing teams otherwise with many star players at their hands.

Those are the three greatest underperformers of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers so far.

Chile

Chile undoubtedly has been one of the principals of the CONMEBOL region during the last decade. They qualified for the 2010 and 2014 World Cups, took the third place in the 2007 U20 World Cup, and won twice at Copa America during 2015 and 2016. Furthermore, they made it to the FIFA Confederations Cup final just a few months ago. That is why their absence in the World Cup is utterly surprising for both professionals and experts.

However, there is no doubt that their destiny should have been brighter. Sadly, numbers are revealing the truth and La Roja failed their final four matches. A 0-3 loss definitely put an end to their chances of getting to the Word Cup for a third consecutive time when even a one-goal loss was enough to send them to the final game against Brazil. The outcome is an alarm that this might be the end of Chile’s most capable generation of talents and that changes are required. This is most obvious when the regularly featured players for the side are considered.

Distinguished players: Alexis Sanchez, Arturo Vidal, Gary Medel, Claudio Bravo

United States

Even bigger disappointment than Chile was United States in the CONCACAF Final Qualifying round. With a reputation of a combating team in the region the USMNT failed spectacularly and remained fifth in the Hexagonal standings. Even worse, they ended the final game third and couldn’t make it to Russian land when in fact they were the masters of their own fate.

What they needed to do to ensure the third place in the standings was a win over Trinidad & Tobago. Yet they scored 1-2 loss and this in addition to Honduras and Panama victory over Mexico and Costa Rica will guarantee them that they will watch the tournament from home next year. Hopefully, this will finally motivate U.S. to improve their league system and youth selection. Apparently, there are hardly acceptable replacements for top players like Tim Howard, Clint Dempsey and Michael Bradley. Time has come when they can’t rely on those veterans and the transformation is much needed now. At stake is their position of a dominant contender in the CONCACAF region.

Distinguished players absent: Christian Pulisic, Clint Dempsey, John Brooks, Michel Bradley

Netherlands

The Netherlands were in a hard situation entering the final match of the UEFA World Cup Qualifiers. With France and Sweden ahead the Dutch needed to hit seven-goal win to find their place as one of the best second-played squads. Even the decisive 2-0 win over their rivals led to no avail. The Netherlands did not succeed to qualify for a second big tournament and in addition lost its chance on the 2016 European Championship.

Similarly to USA, the Netherlands need redesign of their strategy for the future. Notable players like Robben have already declared that they are completely leaving the National Team. Others like Wesley Sneijder and Robin van Preise also irreplaceable through the years will most likely to follow suit. Although the national team is equipped with very talented young players it would be unfair to expect from them the same as from the squad that finished third and fourth in the last two World Cups. The team has to be reinvented and unless they do, they are bound to become an average team in Europe for the foreseeable future.

Distinguished players absent: Arjen Robben, Daley Blind, Memphis Depay, Virgil van Dijk

The unbelievable seemed quite real some days ago. Argentina was almost to miss out the next year’s World Cup.

The giants of South America will still be at the World cup only thanks to the remarkable play of the little virtuoso Lionel Messi who scored a hat-trick in a 3-1 victory over Ecuador on Tuesday. La Albicelestes were very close to record their first left out of the World Cup since 1970.

Showing up when most needed

One would ask why Lionel Messi wasn’t there for the entire campaign but despite the short international withdrawal he quickly returned. However, Argentina didn’t always demonstrate avant-grade play at times in qualification even with Messi in the team.

This is unexpected especially considering the high-class of Argentina’s attacking players. Yet they didn’t deliver recently until Tuesday night in Quioto when Messi starred and did what he is capable of best when it is most important.

One of the problems of the little man’s place among the all-time greatest list is his inability to perform and deliver well for Argentina as he does in the big games for Barcelona.

Messi receives new chance to win the World Cup

Even though Cristiano Ronaldo is outstanding athlete and player, Lionel Messi could be named the best footballer and the more technically talented one.

This is a matter of personal opinion though and the discussion is endless as everyone has different preferences.

Critics have accused the 30-year-old for never winning a big international trophy for Argentina unlike Ronaldo who won the crown for Portugal on the Euro 2016.

The same analogy goes with Diego Maradona and the great Pele from Brazil. It is obvious that Messi need to win an international championship to prove his place in the big league of players.

Perspectives and opinions on the matter vary and depend greatly on time and generations. In the older days Stanley Mattews and Dixie Dean were heroes, not so long ago the iconic Ronaldo and Ronaldinho were idols and nowadays we enjoy both Messi and Ronaldo’s great talents.

As the 2018 World Cup approached Lionel Messi seems motivated to grab his last chance to secure his team’s qualification.

Argentina needs to advance their play

After the winning match in Quito the Argentinian chief Jorge Sampaoli said that his team has to stop relying Messi to always save the game for them.

The good news is that the team is equipped with many talented players. World class team members like Angel Di Maria, Paulo Dybala, Sergio Aguero and Gonzalo Higuain will all be present for the World Cup.

They need to demonstrate the same class as they do for their clubs, as for example the 23-year-old Dybala who still needs to find the net after ten games.

As good as Messi is, no game is a one-man show in the same way as Pele and Maradona probably received underappreciated support in the face of his teammates.

Argentina is one the favourites to lift the trophy at odds of 8/1 at the World Cup with only Germany, Brazil and Spain with shorter odds.

Despite the pleasing fact that Lionel Messi will be part of the World Cup 2018, his squad unfortunately just cannot hit it off together as a team and will give food to his critics for the rest of his career.

The question is: Is Lionel Messi able to inspire Argentina to win the World Cup trophy next year?

In Retrospect

Nowadays when footballs is nothing like the times when names like Guiseppe Meazza, Silvio Piola and Garrincha played the field with class and elegance, the new and exceptionally gifted German team is ready to crave its own name in the archives of football.

Seemingly unstoppable, the four-time world champions from 1954, 1974, 1990 and 2014 won a Confederations Cup this summer as a fool proof preparation in their quest to adding another trophy to their golden collection.

In the face of scepticism rising from the fact that Die Mannschaft went to Russia with a second-string side, the FIFA-organised international competition earlier this summer in Russia was found as an opportunity for Joachim Low to test the capabilities and boundaries of his squad.

The revived winning team dominated over its rivals to the Confederations Cup title and won with ease against Chile with 1-0 in the final. Lars Stindl’s goal changed the game for the German team and headed home not only with a trophy but as a huge moral bonus before the critical stage of the World Cup qualifying campaign.

Remarkable March to the Final Feat in Russia

After the disappointing Euro 2016 semi-final elimination in France, Die Mannschaft made a classical come-back and continued their unbeatable progress through Group C with three successive 2018 FIFA World Cup wins.

On Thursday evening the raging German team reached the 18-match unbeaten streak when smashing otherwise superb Northern Ireland team with a comfortable 3-1 win.

Thus Germany seized their World Cup ticket and a spare game and will head up to Azerbaijan on Sunday impatient to celebrate with their home fans at Fritz-Walter-Stadium in Kaiserslautern.

Once again, even in the absence of key players such as Mesut Ozil, Sami Khedira, Marco Reus, Mario Gotze and Manuel Neuer in Belfast, Joachim Low’s team triumphed and proved its impressive history of having never lost an away World Cup qualifier.

With an extraordinary 30-yard blast Sebastian Rudy’s opened the scoring early on, followed by Joshua Kimmich’s landing of a delightful volley and Sandro Wagner with forceful invasion inside the box for the three-goal cushion wrap and another demonstration of power and dominance.

Josh Magennis succeeded to account for a cheering late goal which led to little damage to Germany’s unconditional image.

Nearly Superb Team

On a question for what aspects of his team’s performance needs improvement Joachim Low recently replied – efficiency – that is one more ideal demonstration of the German determined and uncompromising character and drive for self-improvement and success. The squad is currently at the top of Group C with an remarkable 38-3 goal difference.

Once again they succeeded proving that no German team can be titled weak and there is no doubt for a second that they will slow down and release the pressure for the final qualifier.

With a game of utmost quality, mostly in terms of off-ball movement and transition, the Germans are constantly impending and going forward, the ball is seemingly impossible to cut off and even if you succeed you will be hunt you down in an petrifying manner. Every player is an individual threat of its own giving the quality of their game. Anyone of them older than 28-29 and a leading member of the squad making the prospects bright for a winning team in Russia.

Die Mannschaft are already amongst our firm favourites at 5/1 betting odds to lift the trophy in Russia to earn their name and we wouldn’t believe there is anyone brave enough to bet against them.

To be in great physical shape and to feel the love of the fans is a life every football player dreams of. Being a soccer star has many advantages, it also carries one big disadvantage. This career is shortly limited in time because it is hard to stay fit after the late thirties. The ten ex-players below are living proof that passion can transform for good.

Vinnie Jones is one of the most famous faces in this list. Probably most of us you have seen him in many epic movies like Two Smoking Barrels. The film industry made him a world star. Due to his specific face and severe look he often plays the role of a bad guy, shooting and beating anything that moves. The former player of Chelsea, Leeds, Sheffield and Queenspark Rangers is the most successful actor who also was a great Football player before.

Staying on the artistic wave it is impossible not to mention the two names, that transferred their passion for playing football into playing music. Gaizka Mendieta shared the love for music during the whole time of his football career. That is why straight after finishing with such teams as Lazio, Barcelona, and Middlesbrough , he completely gave in to his next passion. Though mixing music is now his main occupation he still stays strongly connected with football as he works as pundit from time to time.

The extravagant Djibril Cisse opened a new page in his life as he quit playing football in 2007. Besides being a DJ, he also has a feeling for fashion and he developed his own line, called Mr. Lenoir. In interviews, he admits he was blessed to be so famous and good as a football player. And he loves the fact that he was part of teams like Liverpool and Sunderland. But he also feels that a good time for change has come.

The next group of former soccer players we can call the intellectual one. Starting with Andriy Shevchenko, who was part of Chelsea and Milan in the past. He was active in politics even while still playing in the championship. That is why when he retired from football, he became even more determined to his political ideas. In 2012 he took part in the parliamentary elections.

When gave up soccer in 2002 Barry Horne was another man to break the stereotype that players are no good for science. Previously one of the stars of Everton, Horne is the owner of first degree diploma in chemistry. This gave him the right to practice and consequently, he became a teacher in chemistry. Football always stays in his heart and his career in education is parallel with the football team directing role.

Amongst these ten impressive players, there are several who stayed in the field of sports one way or another. Tim Wiese keeps his remarkable physical form with boxing. Being goalkeeper in German championship in the past, today he is a successful wrestler with muscles anyone can be jealous for. With these qualities and form, we could not agree more that there are great perspectives ahead for Wiese.

Still staying in sports is also Bixente Lizarazu. The ex-star of Atheltic Bilbao, Bourdeoux and Bayern Munchen do not take his current practice like jiu-jitsu instructor as entertainment. He managed to master this martial art and even became a European champion in 2009. The amazing fact was that he did this at his first competition he would ever attend. So there is no doubt this is his next passion.

Last but not for lack of interesting occupation are two former players, that can not be put in any of the above groups. Arjan de Zeuw used his good physical form and practice to protect the citizens as he became an investigative detective. His specialty is now forensics, though in the past he was defending the honor of Portsmouth, Coventry, Barnsley and Wigan Athletic on the field. Back in his native Netherlands, he is a respected detective now.

Frank Leboeuf is the only one in this chart that even managed to transform his occupation more than once. His debut in acting was short after finishing his football career. Then he changed his priorities and till now the 49 old former Chelsea player is taking part in different entertainment events on stage and modern productions.

Being or not a Liverpool fan, many of us watched the team’s last game. It was not great but it was good. Surely everybody goes for victory, but it is not possible every time. Even score is not bad, it is not enough for the Reds fans surely.

Is it really Jurgen Klopp the one to blame. It is obvious that he is the better manager from his work before. So why are the fans so harsh on him from this one last game?

Liverpool had its times. It is not their season I suppose. Still they have great chances for the participation in the Championship.

Looking at the Reds’ game in details, it is obviousthat they are playing the attractive kind. The attack is their first and main strategy. The threesome – Salah, Firmino and Mane – only need part of the second distract and there is a goal. Surely no team have all parts of the field strong. The good part of the Reds is their aggressive, interesting and possessive manner.

It will not be fair to underestimate Liverpool team’s defense. Neither it is fair saying that when leading the Dortmund guys, Klopp has the best defensive game. So, another pro for our man.

Being current Klopp’s fan or not, we should be honest with ourselves – Liverpool has found its place on the top of the list of the Championship already and it will be like that probably for many years ahead. The word for the Reds is always like for something prestigious, important and strong

And if the above said is not convincing, let’s look at the facts from the last game. When you choose to disbelieve everything, statistics can’t be erased. Everybody who watched the game, can agree that there were at least thirty-four strokes counted in the door space. If this is not good play, I con not tell what is. And do you know what else it is – is it absolute domination on the field. There was also the bad chance that only one has hit the door indeed. Like it or not, chance has great power over the football game. Sometimes so big that even a man like Klopp cannot beat.

Klopp’s influence positive influence can be felt all over the stadium, when Liverpool plays. And if those who votes against still after all our efforts, remember for a second the previous managers of the team. Do you remember Rogers? Can you tell you will be satisfied to have him back ahead on your favorite team? Nay! I thought so.

Objectively the pros are more than the cons logically. Klopp is a strong personality, manager and a great help for the team. It is not only the keenest fans that share this opinion. Many of the opposite side are also willing to see the truth about the Liverpool game since Jurgen Klopp took the team management. So, on this stage the German leaving the club is only a very bad joke or un believable gossip.

Everton found a way to defeat Bournemouth 2-1 in the League during the weekend. For the majority of the game though, The Toffees were a pain to watch. Two goals from rarely used Oumar Niasse clinched the three points for the home side and saved it from more criticism.

Ronald Koeman was certainly one of the most relaxed men after the win. The Dutch specialist was forced to bring back Niasse into the squad after excluding the Senegalese striker last summer. He definitely earned credit for his passionate attitude after Koeman’s disrespectful treatment. Oumar could have even saved Koeman’s job in the club. The win proved even more that Koeman’s formation, implemented in recent games has failed miserably.

New signings should be benched

It is hard to see why Koeman keeps on starting the trio of Wayne Rooney, Davy Klaassen, Wayne Rooney and Sigurdsson supporting striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin. The youngster has received inconsistent service which could be blamed to the manager’s lineup.

Ronald Koeman needs to take out one of the trio as its definitely not working as they get too narrow when centrally positioned.

Youngsters should be played in the Europa League

Everton had a catastrophic Matchday 1 in the Europa League with a 3-0 defeat to Atalanta in Italy, however they face Apollon from Cyprus next at Goodison Park. It is a most important game for the Toffees to get on track their European campaign on the right track.

The Cypriot side managed an impressing 1-1 draw with Lyon, a clear sign that they are no walk-in-the-park opponent. A high-pace game is obvious, which requires starting players with energy and pace.

One such is Tom Davies. The youth system product was crucial for both of Everton’s recent wins. He contributed with an assist against Sunderland in the League Cup but then came up from the bench to influence both Niasse goals against Bournemouth.

He manages to give the team energy, drive and rhythm, some things which his more experienced teammates fail to do. Dominic Calvert-Lewin is one more obvious starter for Everton, as Niasse was not signed in Everton’s Europa League squad.

Right-back Jonjoe Kenny and winger Ademola Lookman will certainly deliver increased drive and energy to the team. Koeman should most definitely reconsider starting new signing Cuco Martina instead of Kenny.

Turnaround should happen quickly

The win against Bournemouth will mean nothing if Evertonians fail to win against Apollon and against Burnley. After all, the Dutchman spent a lot of money last summer in order to build up his squad after the transfer of big-name striker Romelu Lukaku.

The big budget has arose the pressure on Koeman to deliver results for Everton. As his team struggles, he has became the second favourite to lose his position as only West Ham boss Slaven Bilic has a higher chance. The dutch specialist needs to drop his stubbornness and come out with the most practical team to win games for Everton, not the one that costs the most.

If he fails to do that, his time on Merseyside will most likely be over soon, leaving himself all of the blame as he has failed to see the obvious faults in his team.
