Negative Thoughts can turn good things into bad by applying a meaning that harms us.

Ruminating on mistakes made in the past often creates feelings of shame, guilt, and negativity. Feelings of worthlessness may arise when you play over and over in your mind, ‘bad’ choices or ‘wrong’ actions you feel you have made.

Why Your Life is Busy

Every day, thousands of people visit this minimalist lifestyle blog and the vast majority of my readers have one thing in common: they are tired of living busy and cluttered lives.

They are tired of feeling exhausted at the end of the day, tired of feeling overwhelmed by the volume of stuff in their homes, and tired of never having enough time to do the things that make them come alive.

They come here looking for ideas that will help them declutter, help them slow down, and help them live with more intention in their everyday lives.

It’s akin to a doctor trying to treat a patient’s symptoms without knowing the real cause, don’t you think?

I actually took time last night to reflect on these questions for myself—why had my life been so busy and cluttered in the past, and where does the busyness is my life currently come from—and I had some pretty big revelations.

I thought I’d share them here with you with the hope that it encourages you to take a deeper look inwards. If you are tired of being tired, keep reading to find out why your life is busy and cluttered, and what to do about it.

BETTER BUSY THAN LONLEY

When I was in my late teens and early 20’s, I worked a lot more than your average person. There are a few reasons for this.

In addition, I was a shopaholic. You can read a bit more about my journey in this post and this one too, but the short story is a shopped a lot so I obviously needed to work a lot to pay for it all.

I remember at one stage, in my early twenties, when I realized that I hadn’t had a weekend off from work in over a year. I regularly worked double shifts, easily pushing myself to work 60-70 hours a week, all the while going to school full-time too.

I was busy and I told myself that I didn’t have an option. I said yes to every shift that was offered to me because I “needed the money” and besides—I wasn’t the type of person to say no to work. (I didn’t really need the money, I needed to stop spending so much, but that’s not the point of this story.)

The real truth—one that I struggled to admit to myself at the time— is that I had very few friends. There was no one to meet for coffee, no one to go dancing with on Saturday nights, no one to study with for my exams.

It was easier to work every weekend and to applaud myself for being such a hard worker than to deal with the discomfort of sitting home alone on a Saturday night.

Or worse—the discomfort of putting myself out there and starting a conversation with a stranger

FINAL THOUGHTS

Over the years, my life has evolved and my vision has changed. I got married again and we have a young daughter, and my deep desire to be present in their lives drives me now.

My Experience in IT Company

Hello All,

Here I am posting my second blog. In this blog, I am going to tell you about my experience in IT Company.

First of all, thanks for your support on my first post. I don't waste time just come to the point and let's start.

My experience is wonderful. And I am very thankful for my mentor or manager.

Pick a good manager, not a good company.

Sounds great no, but it's true also. Because of my manager only who I am today "A responsible person". I respect him. He helped me a lot instead of getting angry always help me with a smile.

He doesn't give me a task unless he thinks I can do it. He always says take your time and understand the problem properly then start the work. And give me work one by one in increasing the level of difficulty. Because of him only I am able to understand the technology, business, and client requirements and how to deal with it.

I am lucky to get work under him, many employees didn't get this kind of manager who is like your mentor, and friend.

How to Apply for Aadhar Card

Aadhaar is a 12-digit number that is issued by UIDAI to residents of India. In order to
qualify for an Aadhaar number, you have to complete multiple checks and data validation.
These checks will be done when you apply for your card.

Applying for Aadhaar is free. Here are the steps you need to follow to successfully apply
for and get your 12-digit number and card:

Step 1: Locate an Aadhaar Enrolment Centre

Whether you’re applying for the card for yourself or a member of your family,
you will have to visit an Aadhaar Enrolment Centre. Enrolment is done free of cost.
You can get enrolled at any enrolment centre close to you.

Finding an Authorised Aadhaar Enrolment Centre

You can search for an enrolment centre close to you by visiting the UIDAI website
and selecting and entering information by:

Once you enter details in the required fields, you will get addresses to centres close to you.
You will also, get information on these centres including if they are temporary/permanent,
how many enrolments and updates have been completed in the last 30 days, and
when the information was last updated.

Step 2: Visit an Enrolment Centre with Supporting
Documents

Once you choose your enrolment centre, you will need to visit the centre along with
certain documents.
These are:

Identity proof documents – PAN Card, Passport, Voter ID, Driving Licence, etc.
Address proof documents – Water/Electricity/Gas Bill, PAN Card, Passport, etc.
In case you don’t have any individual valid document – family entitlement
a document containing your details head of the family should
be enrolled for Aadhaar in this case.
If you don’t satisfy any of the above criteria, you can seek help from an
Introducer at the enrolment centre who is appointed by the Registrar and has a
valid Aadhaar number.

Step 3: Enrolling for Aadhaar

Once you visit the centre with the necessary documents, here are the steps that
you need to complete:

Fill the enrolment form available at the centre with your personal details.
Capturing demographic data – your name, DOB, address, gender, and
a mobile number has to be mandatorily provided. You may also provide your
email address, but this is optional.
Biometrics information – Your photograph (only face) will be taken at the
centre along with your fingerprints (all 10 fingers) and a scan of your irises.
Children below the age of 5 – Parent’s/guardian’s name, Aadhaar, and
biometrics to be provided.
Review all the details provided, make any corrections if needed during
the review process and complete enrolment.
You will receive an acknowledgement slip containing your enrolment number
and other details that were collected.

Making Corrections to Information Provided During
Enrolment

During the enrolment process, you can review all the details provided and make any
changes/corrections on-spot, if needed. However, if you need to make any
corrections after you have already enrolled, you will have 96 hours post
enrolment to visit the centre, provide the acknowledgement slip and make
changes to any information you previously provided.

Checking Aadhaar Status

You can check the status of your Aadhaar in case you have enrolled for
it at an Enrolment Centre. You will need your Enrolment ID or EID in order
to check your status. Your EID can be found on top of the acknowledgement
slip you received after you enrolled.

EID is a 28-digit number comprising two parts:

14-digit enrolment number in the format 012/01234/012345 and
14-digit date and time of enrolment in the format dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm:ss

However, to check your status, you only need the 14-digit enrolment number.
Providing the remaining 14 digits are optional.

If you have your EID number, you can check your status by visiting
the Check Aadhaar Status webpage on the UIDAI website.
Retrieving Lost/Forgotten EID

In case you have lost or forgotten your EID, you can retrieve it by visiting the
Retrieve Lost or Forgotten EID/UID webpage on the UIDAI website.

It takes around 60 to 90 days to get your Aadhaar card after your data has been collected
and uploaded to the Central Identities Data Repository (CIDR).

Downloading Aadhaar Card

You can get an electronic copy of your Aadhaar using your EID. Visit the
https://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/" Download Aadhaar webpage on the UIDAI website to
download your copy. You will receive your card as a PDF file and it
will be password-protected.

Aadhaar Reprint

In case you have lost your Aadhaar card, you can make use of the “Aadhaar Reprint”
service. You can order the reprint by paying a fee of Rs.50 (including GST).

You will need your Aadhaar number or VID (Virtual Identification Number)
to request a reprint of your card.

Do not apply or enrol for Aadhaar again if you have lost/misplaced your card or details.
Enrolment should only be done once. If you apply more than once, your application will
get rejected (unless specifically advised by UIDAI).

FAQs

Can I apply for Aadhaar online or by post?

No. You will have to visit an Enrolment Centre to apply for Aadhaar.
This is because your biometrics need to be captured for a successful application.

Can NRIs apply for Aadhaar?

Yes. NRIs are eligible to apply for Aadhaar if they have resided in India for a period
of 182 days or more in the last 12 months before applying.

Is there an age limit to apply for Aadhaar?

No. There is no age restriction to apply. Even new-born babies are eligible to get an
Aadhaar number.

What details will be captured during the enrolment process

Two types of details will be captured during the enrolment process, namely:

Demographics details – Name, date of birth, gender, and address. Providing your
mobile number and e-mail ID is optional.
Biometrics – Photograph, all 10 fingers, both irises.

In case I do not have all my fingers or both my irises, can I still enrol?

Yes. The software used for Aadhaar has provision to handle cases wherein you do
not have all your fingers/irises.

Will the operator charge for any fee for Aadhaar enrollment?

No, the operator will not charge any fee as Aadhaar enrollment is free for
Indian residents.

Points to Remember while filling-up the Passport Form

Few things which must be taken care of while filling up the registration form are as follows:

Always use capital letters and leave a blank box between two words.
Use a black or blue pen only, do not use an ink pen or pencils.
Avoid overwriting and also try to enter all the information within the given number of boxes.

Normal quota and Tatkal quota

Usually, it takes 8 business days to get an appointment at the nearest Passport Seva Kendra. If all the formalities are processed, it takes around 3 more weeks for the passport to reach the applicant. Under the Tatkal system, the passport is dispatched strictly within 3 business days.

Important Documents Needed for a New Passport

Proof for date of birth and citizenship.
An HR certificate on the letterhead, or a Bonafide Certificate from the School/College.
Electricity bill, Gas connection bill, Telephone bill or Water bill in your name with valid address proof.
Bank account statement, Voter ID card.
In the case of a married person, one can attach the spouse’s passport copy and in case of a bachelor, one can attach the parent’s passport copy.

Updation and Re-issue of Passport

Updating of passport is essential in case of a change in permanent address or change in name (adding surname before or after marriage).

In case of damage or theft, re-issue of a passport is required. Important documents needed for an update or Re-issue of Passport

Notarized Affidavit (also known as a sworn affidavit) from the court which approves of the fact that the name has been changed or surname has been added.
If name changes from maiden to married then documents like notarized marriage certificate is to shown compulsorily along with a joint photograph.
And if the name has changed or surname has been added, then an advertisement must be published in any daily newspaper (both local and national) mentioning the new name and the permanent address. And one can register for a passport only after 30 days from the date of publishing such an advertisement.
After registering for passport, police verification is also required to ensure that the passport doesn’t go in the wrong hands and it has to be done within 21 days post approval from the passport office, or else the application will be rejected. And this will lead to the re-verification of the passport.

Note: One must carry all original/valid proofs of all the documents along with self-attested photocopies before going to the police station. Also, coordination must be done with the police officer in charge regarding the timings so that one is present at the mentioned address at the time of verification.
