After spending literally months looking for a quilt, I decided that it would be better for me to make my own. It's an adorable little store. While sitting on a small couch by the window over looking the street, you can sip your loose leaf tea from beautiful mismatched pots, and tea cups. Everyone knows how I feel about baby showers, I love them and think everyone should have one for every baby, even more so when the mommy's family is far away.Whether it's a 1st baby and the parents need everything, or a 4th baby and the mommy just needs a good kid-free pamper mommy day! Every mommy and baby should be celebrated in some way.

I was lucky enough to be able to help out with a baby <img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/TheSquidsAccomplice/~4/_dfFmDsLaiU" height="1" width="1"/>

Dance of the Winnabegos.

It was another great turn out with about 10 ladies showing up to discuss the book. We thought about doing themed food similar to our last meeting, but the main character in the book has a HORRIBLE diet that included pork rinds, BLEH! I hate that!

I have been working on a birthday gift for my nephew and right in the middle of it, I ran out of black thread. How did I run out of one of my staples? Last week I was super excited to start volunteering at my squidlet girls school. I really enjoy spending time with the teachers and students there, and hope to make it a regular thing.

I was able to sit with a cup of tea and have books read to me and talk about my crazy hair, and all the fun things they were doing in school that day. It was really wonderful.
