BEHIND THE SCENES:  In this short clip, we make fun of what babies really look like and act like.  They aren’t a toy, they aren’t your friend and they aren’t there for you.  You need to be there for them.  Post-partum depression, although clinically apparent, parents need to be prepared for a committment to take care of a helpless human that relies entirely on them.

If you survive the first few months of child care duties, you will begin to get small signs of affection, attention, and other responses from the baby.  From that point forward, you can slowly begin to take pleasure and joy in the accomplishments they will continue to make on a daily basis.
