I've never been one to have black dresses in my closet let alone an LBD so it was a surprise to me to be drawn to this gorgeous all in one safety net of a sweater dress. When I spotted this dress my mind automatically went into work more with all of the different ways it can be utilized in my wardrobe.

I absolutely love this dress and would wear it every day if I could. It is beyond comfortable and stylish. It hits all the curves of my body and I can accessorize it with a statement piece belt, a fancy hair up-do to elongate the look, jewelry, or with even knee high or ankle boots. I opted for the nude shoe and bare legs this time around.

If you're feeling frisky enough try this eye catcher jumper dress in black or olive green with a leopard ankle boot. Amazing!

Also talk about easy street with these camel tone and ivory white sweater dresses that will set your mind at ease when you need a relaxing day.

My Visit to Paris in September

It may have been Paris fashion week but it was truly Paris Passion week for me. Visiting Paris was always on my travel list and the time came to do so in September. I heard Paris was the city of love but I didn't expect it to hit me as soon as I landed. There is beauty everywhere and my heart was heavy with gratitude and love for the city.

Beautiful architecture adorned the buildings with natural and rustic finishings. Little children walking the streets after school laughing and talking in their french language.

Rain would come and go during the day giving way to beautiful decadence in the streets.

In the natural rays of the sun I took in pictures from my hotel balcony. A fancy hat, trench coat, or blazer made it appropriate to walk the streets in comfort in the September breeze.

Easy mode of operation was made clear with various bicycles and motorcycles, both borrowed and owned.

Keeping stylish in Paris was very easy. I made sure to pack classic Fall pieces and accessories that could transition from day to night.

Cafes were in abundance and streets were paved with beautiful colored cobblestones.

Night views were of their own in Paris. Just breathtaking and that is saying the least.

Summer just isn't quite right unless my wardrobe contains a fabulous jumpsuit. Shopping on lunch (a favorite past time of mine...) lured me to H&M spotting this gorgeous printed jumpsuit. Since prints are my weakness as of late, this jumpsuit fell right in line as a necessary purchase.

The color scheme is right up my alley as a sexy low-cut jumper to wear on a gorgeous summer night and alternatively as fall attire with the subdued colors in toe. She's just perfect for me!

Thinking out loud I may just give her a go at work and wear a cami underneath thereby not giving too much of shock value in the décolletage area! ;-)

Floral Print Wrap Dress

As easy as the sun glistens on my skin it is as easy as that to wear this gorgeous floral print wrap dress. She does all the work for me which I so love. I adore the print and I feel like floral will be my go to print for the summer.

I love the way a wrap dress curves to the body and with a print so geogeous any flaws that one may have (or at least feel they have) is secured in perfection with a feminine dress like this.

Another great aspect of this dress is the fact that it can be worn on an given day from work to social to dinner to a stroll in the park. A multifaceted number isn't she?

Multiprint Blouse and Cobalt Blue Pant

All hail ye the affinity to a fabulously printed top and a star gazing cobalt blue pant, cobalt blue anything for that matter. Such a knock out color a girl could gaze all day long!

Shopping this gorgeous blouse on Jcrew Factory I fell instantly for it. All the colors and prints of the blouse spoke to me. It's a busy print but so elegantly made. I knew I had to have it.

I was almost cautious in pairing the blouse with the cobalt pant thinking it would be too much color but in the end I chose boldness over apprehension and I felt like such a lady! ;-)

Being bold makes one shine so much!

Leopard and Florals For Spring

Leopard and floral prints for Spring! Ground breaking :-). Quite an easy combination for a print on print lover.

This is absolutely one of my favorite tops. I only wear her in the spring and summer season when she is right for the blooming.

I really do love the print on this blouse. The blossoming flowers come to life when the touch of the wind is pressed against her.

Pairing the blouse with a leopard jean gave the look a casual chic feel. Here's a thought; when have you ever seen a leopard hanging around blossoming flowers. Never! But it works! ;-)

Dance Africa Festival

This Memorial holiday weekend I attended the Dance Africa Festival in Brooklyn. A yearly tradition of sorts that comprises of cultural music and fashion in colors of glory. Eyes wide open for all of the grandeur on this festival.

Being a fan of colors in abundance I was right in my element. Oh my gosh was I in my element. The colors made love to my eyes and I was in gaga land the whole event. Below you will see exactly what I mean. (!!!)

Colorful clothes in an array of prints (!!!). Pop color necklaces just in time for the season.

Hand-woven decorative items for the home and statement piece necklaces that make an outfit an outfit ;-)

In light of all the exuberant colors I was expecting, I pulled out the mixed prints with a vintage skirt, tribal print sandals (Target), and pop color shoulder bag (Gap). It was the easiest of outfits to wear to an event like this. I felt so free.

I just loved all the print work on every item at the festival. It gave me inspiration and a reminder not be afraid of pairings because in the end everything works itself out.

Topped off the end of my memorial weekend with brunch in the city and wore an easy vintage button-down dress and tophsop sandals. It was a colorful weekend and I was all smiles for it!

White Pants Season

What a better way to start off the Memorial holiday then throwing on a pair of white pants. The unofficial way to start Summer in style. White pants season is here!! Who's excited?? I am!! :-)

The gem of a white pant is like a rare diamond. Treat it with care as it is a standout piece. A classic piece much like your favorite black clothing, you can wear a white pant with literally anything. Options are endless from brights to darks (much like my top) and it will always be the focal point of an outfit.

I really love the flair leg of these pants. Almost gives it a wide-leg pant feel. Oh so chic!

Spring Sweater and Summer Dress

Don't you just love Spring for the immediate pop colors you can bring out from the back of your closet? Just look at these magnificent colors I'm wearing. I love wearing pop colors knowing that I can incorporate a spring sweater into the mix with a gorgeous summer dress.

Sweaters like these are just perfect for those early mornings or late nights when it's still a bit nippy out.

As the day progresses I can easily pull off the sweater and walk in style with my pop of color dress. Best of both worlds.

Adding an eye catching sandal instead of a boot surely coaxes me that Spring is in the air on those nippy days.

Quick cheers to giving one of my favorite printed dresses a second chance at being Fabulous; wearing it over jeans! ;-)

A grand yet simple idea don't you think? What a way to stretch your wardrobe. A quick tuck under of the dress to a desired hemline (secure with a few pins) then pull on the jeans and I'm out the door on my way to a fantastic day. I love it and I'm sure you will too!

I bought this dress a few years ago and loved it from the first wear (seen in this post). It's such a standout print and I always wanted to incorporate it into a more casual wear. Pairing it with jeans was the next best thing.

Floral Summer Dress

It's that time again. Time to bring out the floral summer dresses. Time to place the soft dress on your body and let it shape to your curves and flow with ease in nature's breeze. Pure zen moment.

I quite enjoy the music that plays when the warm breeze caresses my dresses in the wind. Its light and airy and gives off pure happiness and tranquility. All worries and troubles go away when I am consumed by the soft calming yet swift move of the wind in my dress. I relish that feeling.

This undoubtedly is my favorite time of the year and I always make sure to enjoy the moments of a warm sunny day. The sun and I...well we're sorta best friends! ;-)

Metallic Gold Top and Gold Tip Heels

I've been a gold rush for a weeks now trying to hunt down all sorts of gold members in fashion and lowe and behold all I had to do was look in my closet. Surprise surprise right? :-)

Sifting through my closet I caught wind of this gorgeous metallic gold top I've had for some time. I was always attracted to the details of the top being of crinkled gold. It was a great vintage find and I especially love the easy pocket detail.

Double duty took place as I paired this gorgeous top with another favorite in my closet, these gorgeous gold tip heel shoes. Such an inconspicuous detail.

I'm in the market for more gold and am currently looking for gold kitten heels. If you know where I can find, please do share!

Printed Culotte Pants

Oh how I just adore a printed culotte pant! OMG this has to be THE easiest attire to wear. It's literally the accessory of an outfit. It is a stand out piece of clothing that can be paired with the easiest of tops and the ensemble is all set!

First off I'm a lover of pants and the easy wear of culottes makes life just a little bit easier in the morning when getting dressed. This pant is a favorite of mine in my wardrobe because of the mixture of the print. I'm a sucker for prints and she's a beaut!

The best thing about printed culottes is that fact that I can pull so many colors from it and have a different outfit from just one pant. It's so versatile. Just look at (and count!) the colors that can be used!

Last time I wore these pants I pulled yellow into the mix, now this time around I opted for a serene pastel green and cobalt blue pumps. I just adore!

The pants were a great vintage find (found amazing great printed pants here, here, here, and here. If you love a pop color this is it!) paired with an Old Navy light sweater (similar here and stunning color here) and Jcrew blue pumps (similar). If anything you own this spring and summer season it must be a culotte pant! :-) It's too easy not to wear!

On Saturdays We Wear Pink Cardigans

Happy Saturday! Hope you are enjoying this glorious day. Without a doubt Saturday is my favorite day of the week. A non responsibility kind of day to just do whatever I want. When running errands, throwing on easy yet stylish clothes just like this pretty in pink cardigan makes life such a breeze.

She's such an easy fit and I was so glad to grab her during a quick shopping fest on my lunch hour. Those are the best snatches don't you think? I feel so golden when I'm able to get a little shopping in on lunch. :-)

Accessories (inclusive of the jewelry kind) win big with a loose cardigan so I opted for a floppy hat and pop color pant (and you know red is my favorite).

The Silhouette of a Double Breasted Jacket

Insert that loving feeling *here* as my favorite jacket hugs my feminine curves.

This double-breasted jacket I will never grow tired of. As stated in a previous post I am all for having versatility in my wardrobe. For a few years well I've worn this jacket as a coat of sorts in the brisk weather but I've gained a new found respect and am boldly wearing it as a top with a peep of the décolletage. I just love the way it fits to my body and the accessories of the gold buttons adds just the right touch.

The feel of sophistication is what gravitated me to the look of it. A slight roll of the sleeve and pop of the collar gives the casual chic look I adore.

Because the jacket is so wonderfully structured and fitted to my curves, I opted for a flare bottom to balance out the look. So as the wind blew, so did my skirt :-).

Wearing a vintage jacket (see Talbot's version) and pleated skirt (she's a stunner and this color just grabs me), Topshop sandals (similar style in a variety of colors), vintage necklace, Bvlgari sunglasses (love a good leopard), and Tory Burch pouch.

Red In Bold A Print (Is So Delicious!)

I'm never one to shy away from a bold print and upon seeing this stunning red print top I almost fainted with excitement. She's an absolute stunner!

Easy wear adds a plus plus plus to this gorgeous top. She even has pockets! Jumping jackets were taking place in my head when I found her in the thrift store. I just love how bold her prints are!

You know that song " I feel like a woman!" by Shania Twain, well that's the song that played in my head wearing this easy piece. I just can't get over this print. All eyes on her for her unique look!

She deserved all the attention so I made her stand out by wearing a dark pant that had its own zip flair and being that the weather was so gorgeous I pulled out my sandals.

Spring Parka Jacket (The Necessary Alternative)

Finding the perfect spring jacket just became easy, and it's called the Parka jacket. The most necessary alternative jacket as it can be worn as the obvious jacket or a top, you choose your preference. I chose to wear it as a top. It is beyond versatile. We are talking short sleeve, hood if necessary, belted for waist figure, and light enough for single wear or over a long sleeve top.

It's quite genius the versatility of it don't you think? I dressed this jacket up by added a mixture of prints with my print blue pant and the staple of the ever lustful leopard pump. Sunnies gave the look a cool factor to finish it off.

Dressing her up made me feel like some what of a badass by going against it's natural nature of being a jacket. I play around with clothes a lot and exercise the best way to wear an item to get maximium uses out of it and this jacket proved me right in my decision.

Being a sucker for plaid, a girl was happy to see the flair in this hood. Best of all it's removable so when fall comes along, a quick snap on and i'm right back to the cool factor of plaid needed in the autumn months. Again the versatility of it just makes it a win win!

Denim On Denim (Au Naturale)

Who could ask for anything more than an easy chic denim on denim look? Call it the sun rays in my eyes or the softness of the material of this denim but my oh my this girl was on Cloud 9. My closet isn't filled with a plethora of denim so it was important to invest in pieces that could be worn over and over again with ease and style.

My sister is a go hard fan of the Gap so when it came time for me to shop denim I said "Sis where to go??" and of course I got the "duh" look and heard "the Gap of course!".

Tying the look together for walk on the brisk Spring day involved throwing on this gorgeous pastel coat I've had in my closet for about a year. This probably marks the 3rd or 4th time I've worn it. This is a statement coat that can be worn both in the Fall and Spring, which is what I like.

Details of my outfit include Gap Denim shirt (try this Wet Seal number!) and Gap stretch denim jean (love!!), JCrew blue suede pumps (Ivanka Trump has a cute pair) , a vintage Ellen Tracy coat I bought at an estate sale (this lavender look is beautiful!), and a Forever21 bejeweled pin. Easy and so comfy, just the way I like it. ;-)
