The transition from summer to fall is our favorite time of year. To know we won't be sweating just walking to our cars is a thrilling sensation. If you're not from the south you probably have no idea what we mean. (Aren't you lucky). We have some amazing items for you to try out this fall and they are all from H.E.B.

We're keeping a little summer with us with the Loreal light infusing primer. It goes on smooth and gives your the most perfect sheen. Who says you have to give up the highlighted skin just because the weather is colder? Not us!

Same goes for the Not Your Mothers "Way To Grow Your Hair" product. If you sported a shorter do this summer then fear no more. This product will help your hair grow into throes lucious locks everyone wants in the fall. And if you toughed it out with your long beachy waves this summer, high five! We did it!

As far as your makeup goes the smokey eye can finally make it back on your face. While it might be a little to harsh during the summer nights, it's perfect for fall. Revlon's new "interlocking" eye shadows are just perfection. Get them in onyx and silver and rock the glam smokey eyes all fall long.

Leave behind your pink and fuschia lip gloss and try something in a plum. Parisian Passion to be exact. Revlon has a great lipstain that will last all night and make sure to stay on during your "passion" filled kisses.

And of course the transition from summer to fall would not be complete without a new nail color. We're loving São Paulo by OPI. It's a great grey and purple color that will be perfect on those nails of yours.

In Texas, HEB is our staple grocery store. A place where you think you can only get groceries right? Wrong! You know the saying "Everything is bigger in Texas"? Well the HEB at Oaks Cossing just did it BIG!

With a fabulous and delicious restaurant inside and a full size bar you can pick up tampons, grab a bite to eat AND get a Bloody Mary all at one stop. It's perfect!

The great people at HEB invited us to check out their new store, and we're so glad we did. Not only are the people kind but the food is fantastic. Go hungry though, the portions are big and will leave you with leftovers. The crispy brussel sprouts are the way to go when choosing an appetizer. Entree wise, everything that's on the menu is nothing short of delicious. And the brisket! Oh the brisket! That's all we have to say about that. (It's on point!)

And if that doesn't make you want to try it out. They have amazing things and deals going on almost every day of the week.

We're going all "American Hustle" on you this time. You know us and cocktails, making and of course drinking them just comes as second nature to us. We could do it in our sleep (maybe) we've never tried but challenge accepted! The annual San Antonio Current Cocktail party is coming up, and it's 70's theme! Its pretty perfect for us because we love men in white suits i.e John Travolta. So, keeping with the theme we decided to take the popular drinks of the 1970's and add a little Dossier flavor to them. First up, the Tom Collins, which is just perfectly fine, but we needed to get more "groovy" with it. Insert the raspberry and thyme. It's a great drink with lots of great flavor, the raspberry and thyme simple syrup takes this drink to a whole other level. Not to mention it's such a pretty color. Mix some of these up, put your bell bottoms on and get your boogy shoes ready!

Dossier does Urban Taco

We were so lucky to have been invited to check out Urban Taco, which in our opinion is one of the top mexican restaurants in San Antonio. The atmosphere couldn't have been better, and the food is to die for. For starters you HAVE to try the avocado ceviche tower. It didn't last long, we couldn't get enough. We would totally recommend the quesadillas because well, their delicious. Trust us! Of course we couldn't go to a place with "taco" in the name and not order some tacos! They certainly live up to their name. The tacos were so flavorful. Great taste and great presentation. You know us, we cant go to a restaurant and not order some cocktails. Needless to say, we left there happy. The drinks we tried were spot on, strong but not to strong. Just the right amount of delicious. If your feeling dangerous definitely order the mezcal. Their margaritas were killer, in a good way, and they have a great happy hour! We give Urban Taco 5 out of 5 tacos! Get there this weekend we promise you wont regret it. Enjoy!

So, instead of taking drastic measures like liposuction, just utilize the dry skin brushing techniques to help break down unwanted toxins?

This may sound to good to be true! Basically all you have to do is take a few minutes before you get in the shower or just in your spare time and brush your skin. Not only does it help to break down the fat cells it also gets rid of the dry skin to show off your new, radiant skin. It makes your skin feel alive!! You'll just see all those nasty dead skin cells fall off and after you apply a body oil you'll be screaming "hallelujah."

I found this method at the perfect time. Everyone (including me) are trying to get beautified for spring/summer and this method does two things at once. I know it may sound harsh for your skin but trust me it's all worth it! Do this method daily for a month and once you start to see those "dimples" go away you'll be really happy you tried it out. How To NOT Get Sloppy Drunk

Lets be honest for a minute ladies and gents, if you signed up for the Cocktail Conference this month you probably planned on getting a little more than tipsy, am I right? We knew it. Now, we know that the main reason for this conference is to try a million and one cocktails that you haven't tried before, but we're here to save you from looking like Lindsey Lohan. Seriously its not cute, nobody likes a hot mess. Don't go down the road to tacky town. Take a detour and read this to help yourself NOT get sloppy drunk.

1.) Check yourself before you wreck yourself:

If you know the night or day your going to be having ahead of you will consist of more than one drink, plan on taking it slow. We all know drinking faster will get you drunk quicker, but that's a sure way to make you a human puke machine before 10pm. Nobody likes to babysit (we all know this) so drink sllloooowlllllyyyyyy. It's not a race its a marathon. Just remember you have all night, or at least till 2am.

2.) Have a calorie feast:

This just means EAT BEFORE YOU DRINK!! This just might be the most important rule to remember. Never and we do mean NEVER drink on an empty stomach. We get it, you want to stay fit. That's what the gym is for, not the salad bar before a night of hitting up all the bars. You wont make it to 2 cups of Jungle Juice before wanting to call it quits. If your dinner was a handful of almonds, expect to be hugging the toilet by the end of the night. Instead, order that double cheeseburger and spring for some fries too. You wont regret it.

3.) Get on that H20 game:

Having a glass of water between drinks doesn't make you a loser. It makes you smarter than all those amateurs pounding back cherry vodka sour's and taking fireball shots like "a boss". Matching a glass of water with the drinks you have is a good way to make sure you don't become "that girl". You know that girl. She's the one crying in the corner, or yelling at the bartender, or even worse, dancing on the bar when your nowhere near Coyote Ugly. Its alright to know that girl, just don't be that girl.

4.) Know your limit:

Bottom line. If you feel like your about to go exorcist on the person next to you, you've probably had to much to drink. We all know when were "feeling good" but if you take it to the next level and your friends have to carry you out of a bar because you thought it was a good idea to have 7 donkey punch shots in a row (not speaking from experience) well that's no bueno. Things to remember:

Stand still. Is the room spinning?
Can you feel your teeth?
How many times have you said "Oh my god, I love you!" in the last minute?

If your answers were: Yes, No, and more than 7. Than your drunk. Stop drinking immediately!

5.) Be snobby:

This is probably the only time we will ever suggest you do this but if your set on not having a pounding headache in the morning you might want to consider it. We all know the girls that say "I don't drink beer" whatever. Don't be that kind of snob, but you can be snobby about your liquor. Top shelf liquor and clear liquor have less congeners (which is just a fancy word for chemicals that add flavor and color to alcohol) These liquors will still get you drunk but you'll have less of those sucky side affects in the morning. Fork over a little bit more money if you know you don't wanna sleep your day away the next day.

And if your a rebel and your thinking " To hell with all these rules! All I want to do is get drunk and not care!" Well, first off we would suggest that you calm the hell down before you go down the road only Amanda Bynes has traveled. Since your gonna be difficult we decided to go ahead and give you some alternate options that will free you to drink all night and not have a hangover in the morning. your options are:

Pop a multivitamin, like B12 before you start drinking to replenish whats lost from alcohol
Take some milk thistle. (sold at your local drug store) before bed
We swear by this one, the holy grail, Chasers Plus. Keeping hangovers away for years. Pop one before you go out on the town.

How to exfoliate for better, brighter skin

Brand new year means brand new beauty habits right? Well I learned a pretty great one from TBD. I had actually heard of this "exfoliating dry face technique" before but I was a little scared to try it. Wouldn't that harm my skin? Actually NOT! It has changed my skin for the better. Just wet your finger tips, take a face exfoliator and rub onto your dry face. Keep in mind when you exfoliate your face you don't need to rub extremely hard to make that "penny shine." Just rub your forehead or your chin for a little longer you'll get those great results without the rug burn. You can even use your palms to rub your cheeks if you need to for a little better coverage. This technique promotes new skin growth and puts your best face forward. So all those pesky dark spots or that dry skin, be gone! After one use you'll feel the difference.

Christmas time is here!! We always feel happier this time of year, maybe its the cooler weather or all the holiday parties. Or maybe its all the holiday cocktails we tend to drink. Who knows? All we know is this really is the greatest month and we love celebrating it. Smirnoff was polite enough to send us a bottle of their new Cinna-Sugar Twist flavored vodka and needless to say we were happier than Santa Claus eating all the milk and cookies. We decided to mix it with some oh so good eggnog and guess what? It's delicious! Add a sugar and cinnamon rim and you got yourself one special drink. Perfect for any holiday parties or just to have with some dessert. It's simple but perfect. And it looks fancy too! Enjoy!

October was such a CRAZY month, it practically flew by! November seems to be doing the exact same thing, but we won't let it fly by without sharing some brand new recipes, diy's and beauty secrets. The holiday season is right around the corner and we have some pretty great ideas. Plus come on who doesn't get excited about turkey, pumpkin pie, christmas cookies and tamales?

Since it's still a little over a week till Thanksgiving we have a dessert that will hold you over till then. It's our delicious pumpkin crisp. It tastes just like the holidays without spending a ton of time in the kitchen. You just throw all the ingredients together, bake and voila a tasty pumpkin crisp. Top it off with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon and heaven! This dessert might even be an option on turkey day. It has pumpkin filling, pecans, butter and nutmeg. It's just SCREAMS Thanksgiving!!!

Fall is officially here, and with fall comes new makeup choices. We're well aware that in Texas it's still 88 degrees but just because it still feels hot doesn't mean our faces can't look fall like! This time of year we want to wear deep reds and purples on our lips, a great smokey eye and the perfect flushed cheeks. Lucky for you H.E.B carries everything you need.

We compiled some of our favorite products from H.E.B that you can use to put your best (fall) face forward.

We'll start with the eyes. L'oreal's color riche shadow quad in "stacked heels" has the perfect colors for fall. You can keep it light for the day if you want and build the intensity for a night out on the town. Also, purple compliments brown eyes perfectly.

Coat your lashes with L'oreal voluminous mascara. Your lashes will be full and beautiful with no help from falsies.

Move further down on your face to your cheeks. Use Physician's Formula multi colored blush in "blushing rose". It's SUCH a great color. It leaves your cheeks looking flushed, which is great because out in the cold your cheeks will naturally have a pink tint. This blush just helps out. No one wants to look like a clown right? Right!

And now my favorite, lips! We are loving this Cover Girl jumbo gloss balm in "plum twist". This is the perfect wine color for your lips. It looks great on every skin tone and mouisterizes your lips for those chilly fall days. Plus, who doesn't love a color that reminds them of wine?

Rocky Top Popcorn

Football season is upon us (Go Texans!) *pause for the gasp that we're not Cowboys fans*. But football means tailgates, fantasy football and Super Bowl parties. And what's better at parties other than hot wings and beer? Pigs in a blanket! No, just kidding...Popcorn! Although the standard "movie" popcorn with extra butter is hard to beat we think this recipe might be right up there with it. Plus this recipe has bacon! And who in the world doesn't love bacon? I can't think of any dish that we wouldn't want to add bacon too, except maybe spaghetti. That doesn't sound to appealing. This popcorn has been tested and approved. Seriously, we licked the bowl clean. Tmi? With the sweetness from the butter to the savory of the bacon it can't miss. Plus, it has parmesan cheese and ranch dressing mix. I mean c'mon it's making our mouths water just writing this. Perfect snack for all the hungry guests you'll be having over. And if your not into football it's great for watching movies or just to snack on. Everyone will love it. Guaranteed!

Rocky Top Popcorn:

4 cooked bacon slices

1 bag buttered popcorn

1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

2 tsp buttermilk ranch dressing mix

1/4 tsp black pepper

Chop up the cooked bacon into small pieces. Pop popcorn. Toss together the popcorn, bacon, parmesan cheese, and ranch dressing mix. Sprinkle with black pepper and serve immediately.

iken not believe we went our whole lives without this watch. (see what I did there huh? huh?) This watch is the transformer of watches. It won't turn into a giant robot and save the planet but it will take your outfit from awesome to MEGA awesome. Lets be honest, being on a diet sucks. Depriving yourself of all the delicious foods you could be eating. Meanwhile your eating a lean cuisine microwaveable dinner and wishing it was a big bowl of carb loaded pasta worth at least 27000 points on weight watchers. Horrible, no? Yes. We'll go on the record as saying though, weight watchers is a great program. Jennifer Hudson makes us feel so bad about ourselves. If your on a diet or have ever been on one then you know they always say to cut out the cocktails. Well we say "screw that!" Taking away a persons cocktails should be a crime. We know summer is pretty much over so the "beach body" you were trying to achieve (or did achieve) will be hidden under sweaters and jackets. We apologize for the late "skinny cocktail" post. Here in our house we are trying to concentrate on eating healthy and working out daily so we came up with a cocktail that won't have you hating yourself after drinking it. This drink is a guilt free cocktail you can have on the daily, and works perfect if your trying to stay on track with your calories. Go ahead and have more than one, or two, or three. Just kidding don't go overboard. We're here to motivate not sabotage.

SKINNY Tequila Cocktail:
Juice from 1 orange
Juice from 1/2 a lime
2 oz pineapple juice
1 1/2 oz tequila
one slice of jalapeno

Shake all ingredients in a chilled cocktail shaker. Strain into a a cocktail glass, garnish with lime or jalapeno.
