A little DIY project I got into a couple of weeks ago, after picking up this starry-sheer fabric that I thought would make a pretty good kimono/jacket. I completely love it, but when it's not belted it tends to get more into a wizard-looking style...regardless, I don't mind walking that fine line.

An impromptu photo shoot after a lunch with entirely too much wine - gotta love those days. And, seriously not getting enough of these new Jeffrey Campbell Times Two wedges makes me not at all unhappy that these random shots took place. That, and with the pick up in work lately I just haven't had time to do the updates my blog so desperately needs! Not that I'm complaining - three interviews last week, so be on the look out for some new coverage!

I can't seem to stop gravitating toward high-waisted anything- I've been lusting over it like a cat does a mouse. Desiring and building my summer wardrobe with cropped tops and high-waisted passion, it's going to be a summer set in the 70s - with a little moto mixed in of course, I can't go all summer without some new studded moto boots. The search continues...

Feeling nostalgic and sad that I'm missing Carnaval in Brazil this year - I was fine until I was rudely reminded yesterday from a friend in Brazil that Carnaval is lacking my attendance. So, I wanted to post a tribute to Carnaval with some photos of the AMAZING costumes from this year and a quick little video highlighting my experience from last year! It is truly like no other event I have ever been to! If you ever have the chance to experience Carnaval in Brazil - or even New Years - I highly recommend you take it. So this is for all my friends in Brazil, and my Brazilian friends here - Eu sinto a sua falta, Brasil!

Collaborating with United Nude's Miami pop-up store in the Design District, Red Square Photo's Corey Weiner and myself literally spent two hours in video dreamland. And, if you find yourself saying WTF on some of these designs, those usually end-up being the ones you wish you could take home and sleep with. At least it was that way for me. Sickness.

Spent Valentine's Day with a friend on South Beach: sunny weather, shopping, lunch along the beach and a caipirinha fish bowl bigger than my head! All in all, feeling pretty good after that drink and my lucky wishbone bracelet purchase a lovely street vendor offered to me.
