It was a passable week, while I waited to get in to have my tube fixed. Nothing absolutely fabulous, or terrible. I got less than 4 miles, but more than three. I’m looking forward to being able to move around better, soon.

Leaping to Lothlórien Week #186

I continue to leap heartily towards Lothlórien, but it’s true that these updates lapsed slightly. And why did they lapse? I got a new fitness watch, and it got somewhat complex trying to deal with the weird overlap time betwixt having my old watch and having the numbers from my new watch. But, I’m here, I’m still leaping, and actually, I did pretty good this week! Nearly a mile per day! Unfortunately, my feeding tube has dislodged. (Oof!) Which means I cannot sleep at night (and I’m none too comfortable during the day, either) and because it’s one of the worst times of the year for that to happen (the hospital is just backed up) I just have to suffer. As of the date that I called in, they gave me a two and a half week waiting period because they just had no slots. (Triple oof! As of this writing, I have a couple more days, and am growing increasingly uncomfortable.) Soon I will be better and moving more vigorously. But not yet. Still, here’s the walking numbers from a short bit ago. Weekly updates will resume as planned now!

I’m mostly better, but now I have to recover from being sick. Like I have to get my strength and energy back and all that. So this week did not see me having a whole lot of forward momentum towards my goals. On the other hand, I guess three and a half miles wasn’t terrible considering I’ve been living in the “pneumonia house” for the past couple weeks. But we’re on the up and up over here.

And also, it just so happens to be National Tea Day! I made a little tea party video on my vlog | HERE | if you wanna see it.

Leaping to Lothlórien Week #184

It’s literally impossible for me to not catch whatever Master Pravus has, especially since I’m on medicine that trashes my immune system. (Ugh) so this wasn’t a week that I felt up to doing much. However, I wound up getting more steps than last week, likely due to the fact that I had to run around to clinics and get checked out so I could chase down medicine and I wasn’t just at home. (Double ugh!) Still, further along the road is further along the road, I guess. And less than 200 miles to Lothlórien.

Leaping to Lothlórien Week #183

It was a bit of a hectic week, with Master Pravus coming down with pneumonia. I ran around a lot looking after him, which may have helped get my miles up, although not quite as much as last week. 😉 Five miles is pretty good though, and I’m getting close to the “under 200” miles to go to my next stop mark!
