Today marks the day of the epic release of the Nike Foamposite One Galaxy. To most people, its just a shoe. To a select few, its the closest thing to a unicorn. Most people who don't understand the culture of shoe collecting look at shoe collectors as, well, idiots. I happen to be a rather popular guy. I currently run this blog your reading. I run the Internet station you are listening to (If your currently on TheSuperstarBlog.com). I also happen to be a local cinematographer, producer, and club promoter. I also happen to be a life long resident of the dmv...which happens to be Foam city! We love our foamposites out here! Every color, every style (Penny, Pro, or Rookie), Shit we even purchased the very pricey foamposite boots (Yes! even the hideous blue ones!...smh). So its no surprise that the most hyped shoe today (The Nike Foamposite One Galaxy) is causing a mega frenzy in the city. Hell, as u can see from the video above, the frenzy is being felt around the country!

Which leads me to this blog post. I'm done talking about this shoe! I'm actually here to inform the misinformed.I guess im volunteering to be your personal guide into the wild jungle that is "The Shoe Collector". A guide to the common everyday person does not understand why some "Idiot" would wait in line for "A Pair of Overpriced SHOEEES!" The answer to this question is rather simple. We do it because we want to! We being the shoe collectors. We wait outside for these shoes because its what we like to do. We, shoe collectors, join shoe forum after shoe forum. Read blog after blog, day in, day out simply for the love of exclusive kicks. Some people love vintage purses. Some people love vintage wines. We just happen to love exclusive limited tennis shoes. Every person has a vice. Ours just happens to be shoes. We don't expect you to understand. Hell, we actually rather you don't understand. Mostly, because we don't want more people waiting for our limited kicks! LMAO! But nah seriously... we don't want more people lining up trying to purchase our limited kicks :-) Frankly, its an acquired hobby that shoe collectors don't expect common folk to understand. So when normal folk lump us in with the looters, rioters, and shoe snatching goons we just stand in line with our smart phones and wait patiently for our shoes. We shoe collectors aren't criminals or idiots. We are fathers, brothers, & sons who happen to love spending our honestly earned money on what we love... limited edition shoes.

So take it from a husband, a brother, a responsible man who's love of shoes where sparked by his mothers inability to purchase these coveted shoes for her son when he was a boy. We work hard everyday. We pay our bills..Our wives are well taken care of... loved and cherished....We just simply covet the shoes that influenced our youth. There is no harm in that.

As I sit here at my work desk eating my breakfast i realized something. Scratch that! Recently, the Mrs. and I decided to embark on a journey together. For health reasons, and a slew of other reasons, we decided to try going vegan. Nothing wrong with that, especially since its mad healthy and i can stand to lose a few thousand pounds. But, because i have a vivid imagination and i happen to be looking at worldstarhiphop, my mind is beginning to wander. As my mind is wandering random thoughts are seeping into my psyche. Mainly because random thoughts almost always find a way to enter my brain at completely random times for completely random reasons. Anyway, So im currently eating my veggie omelet and home fries right, and the wildest thing hits me. HUMAN BEINGS ARE FUCKING BULLIES! Let me explain my random ass thought! We (Human Beings) claim to be the smartest inhabitants on this planet we call earth. Maybe we are? Maybe we aren't? I really don't give a shit! But needless to say, we are pretty damn awesome! We also happen to run shit when it comes to food, land, water, titties, and plastic vagina's (U get my point...I think?). Ignore the last rant! Oh, and back to the point... Humans are the dominant species on this planet. We also affirm our dominance by farming other less intelligent animals for nourishment. Hell we even hunt dumbass animals (For a finite number of months...according to law) because they tend to fuck up our back yards and knock over our trash cans. My point being this... HUMANS BEINGS ARE FUCKING BULLIES! I know your saying to yourself "This motherfucker is trippin!" or "Why the fuck does this ass for brains have time to think about and write about this USELESS FUCKING SHIT!". Well because I'm fucking a fucking rando! LMAO! Also i secretly think we are not alone in this universe, and at some point some really intelligent life form may actually come to this plant and wrap 10 of us inside a 300 ft long tortilla and sprinkle guacamole and mozzarella cheese on our bodies and eat us. I mean hey! If bullies often learn their lessons, and eventually get there asses kicked...Why wouldn't this be a plausible series of events? Im just sayin *Shrugs Shoulders*

The Beastie Boys, known for their distinctive style and unique sound, released the iconic single Sabotage in the early 1990’s to rave reviews. In 2011, Dia2ill, an artist equally as unique and enigmatic puts an modernized touch to the classic pop classic. An ardent Beastie Boy fan and a fan of the classic song himself, he crafted the track to perfection; adding his own lyrical and melodic touch to make it something all his own. Dia2ill wasn’t alone in the process of updating this classic. With production headed by Innerloop Record’s own J-Scrilla, Dia2ill captured the same energy and sound which sent the original song to icon status and added his own unique flair in the process.

Both J-Scrilla and Dia2ill consrtucted the new track from scratch. Later, live guitar would be added to the track by producer Miggz. Dia2ill wanted to catch the listener off guard. He accomplished this task by having assistants of Johnny 3 Legs perform the songs intro. Johnny 3 Legs also assisted with back-up vocals alongside Death Metal singer Ogre. To add an old-school sound to the new-age track. DJ Trayze incorporated the sound of records scratching in the chorus. Engineered by 2Face Ya Wild Boy, the finished product would be sent to Wise so that the final touch of adjusting the track’s instrumentals could be made. Miggz would also be the one to master the final product. With the buzz of the track being remade and the careful time put into the song, Dia2ill is confident this song will be just as big a success as the original before it.
