I can't believe it's already been a year since I last updated this blog. I'm not going to say that life got in the way because it really didn't. 2018 was a really amazing year. I grew as a person and I also grew professionally.

I simply shifted to other personal interests and remained engaged in them. I definitely miss writing here and I hope to be back soon. I hope that 2019 and beyond is just as amazing as 2018 was. Thank you for being a part of my world!

I haven't touched base with "Cannibal Songbook" since August of this year. It's strange because I usually don't go on hiatuses as long as this and even then I was barely posting. I've come to the conclusion that for me to gain inspiration and to start writing lyrics again I have to delve myself deeper into the music that inspired me to begin with. As well as go back to reading poetry, books (of genres that I love), and even listening to newer music that I've purposely avoided due to the fact that I am such an old school Metalhead. Because if I don't write my own lyrics again what is the point of even being in a band? For me to create a band I have to express myself in every single shape and form - lyric wise, vocal wise, and music wise.

Using one of my planners as a journal has helped me a lot because I suddenly started to write random poetry. I haven't truly written anything since the time I was going through depression which was many and many a year ago. It's so easy to be inspired when your depressed, the sadness fuels your soul. I always tell myself that when I went through that stage it was very important to my growth as a human being as well as to teach me to be stronger willed.

Who would have thought that being happy after so many years of sadness could kill my inspiration to write and be creative? It's definitely been a learning process and I often believe that perhaps all this time passed without having that inspiration for a reason. Maybe now is the time for me to really shine to show the world what I am made of. If your still reading this I salute you. Thank you for being a part of my world and this blog. It means more to me than you will ever know.

It's unfortunate how life is sometimes things are going well and then inadvertently they go to hell. However, it is with those bad moments which truly make us appreciate the good. I'm thankful that I've always been able to find something positive in the negative.

With that said I know things will get better with a little patience and effort. I did once tell you that if I gathered the courage and had the time that you would one day hear the - "Siren" in me well even though this is still pretty embarrassing without further ado I present a video of yours truly singing a cover to one of my favorite songs.

Nintendo 3DS Collection - Throwback Thursday

I had mentioned in previous posts that I wanted to start working on my Youtube channel but that unfortunately had to be delayed because the computer that I was sharing with my Husband at the time was not apt for uploading and editing videos.

About a year later I saved up to buy my very own laptop. I had wanted to buy my own computer for the longest time but never went for the plunge. I named my laptop Andromeda and I am very happy with her. In the beginning she had a few issues with charging as well as wifi connection so I did have to spend a hefty penny to send her for repair to the US because I purchased her online. I can happily say she hasn't had any issues since then and my Husband being a computer expert also said that it is very rare for a laptop to have issues.

With that said I am finally able to edit and upload videos and will be trying to work on more videos as time allows. For a long while now I've had a creative block that I can't seem to tear myself away from. In light of recent events it seems that the dark cloud that was hovering over my creativity has finally lifted. It had been years since I dabbled with Photoshop to create visions that are simply reflections of myself. Visions that are my own that other people will probably misinterpret or simply not understand.

I know that I'm meant for greater things in this life as an individual I have simply not chosen those paths out of FEAR. FEAR will paralyze you and terrorize your brain. I should really ask myself why I was so afraid and just learn from that and start anew. I will no longer let my fear guide me I will guide myself.

The Happy Planner : My New Obsession

I need to stop being lazy about updating this blog. Writing in it and sharing my experiences with you guys has always helped me grow as a person. It's not good to get to busy with "life" and then forget about the things that you are truly passionate about like - 'blogging' for instance. I got a Wacom tablet as an Anniversary gift from my Husband so I hope to soon be sharing new drawings with all of you. I'm happy I can finally check the Wacom off my wishlist as it has been on there for far to long!

I'm slowly but surely working on my new blog. Right now I'm fully dedicated to my Happy Planner and haven't been motivated to do much else. The photo you see above is from the Hocico Concert I went to in May. I have so many happy memories from that concert I could probably write a book about it. I feel very fortunate to have been able to see my favorite Industrial band live as I have adored Hocico since I was 15 years old when I first heard about them on the Gothic Music Compilation - "The Black Bible". To finally see them perform live was a dream come true for me.

I keep telling myself I should still post entries on this blog till I actually put up the new one but time tends to escape me. Going to bed earlier than usual has been able to help me deal with stress (mainly from work) a great deal sometimes you just have to find whatever works for you. I'm also eating healthier and exercising on a regular basis which has helped me lose tons of weight.

I'm excited for many video game releases the main one's being Dragon Quest Builders for PS4 in October, Dragon Quest VII for Nintendo 3DS on September the 16th, Yokai Watch 2 : Fleshy Souls & Bony Spirits on September 30th, and the Dragon Quest VIII Nintendo 3Ds remake possibly releasing for December.

Sleeping While Awake : Reality is better than what it seems!

This month of April has been a whirlwind as it has also been a blessing. A blessing in disguise so to speak. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason I don't really believe in coincidences although at times I'm sure they must manifest themselves one way or another.

As most of you know my father passed away last year in the month of April I didn't realize that all this time even though I was happy I was sad I was letting myself go. Work was making me more stressed than usual which led to over eating which obviously led to weight gain.

I stopped pampering myself, was to lazy to do my makeup, never really wanted to dress up just always wanted to be in my comfortable clothing (baggy pants, Metal shirts, etc...)

My sleep schedule had been off and on sometimes I'd go to bed at an appropriate time other times I would let myself go till the end of the abyss so that I could feel that my time away from work meant something.

Everything eventually built up to getting sick the first few weeks of April as my Dad passed around that time as well as not sleeping properly which caused non-sleep hallucinations during the time of his Birthday. But all this time since he passed I cheated my mind telling myself that what happened did not affect me that I was happy that he was no longer in pain. I rarely thought of the incident I only remembered him in things/moments we once shared together but in the reality my subconscious was torturing me with thoughts of the previous occurrence.

From NON-SLEEP... to HalLuCiNaTiOnS..which led to sleeping pills..that led to even trickier H A L L U C I N A T I O N S. For some reason whenever I hallucinate it always feels like I'm saving the world..through medications or non-sleep that I have experienced in the past as I am very sensitive and am in fact prone to hallucinations so I have to be very careful of what type of medications I drink as they can really set me off.

I could write a book about every hallucinogenic experience I've had in my life as every single experience is fresh in my memory like a slab of meat at the butcher's shop. Twisted - turning - burning - for you. Unfortunately I have been gifted with this curse with after every occurrence I feel an almost undescribable positive energy that surrounds my every being. Call it God, the universe, good vibes - call it what you will.

I know in fact that what I feel is very real and some day's ago my Mom told me that I am special in the sense that I can feel things other people do not feel. I would give my last breath to have everyone in the world feel what I feel now and have felt for sometime because it can only be described as magickal.. An Emphasis in our own - r e a l i t y.

Pretty soon this web page is going to be undergoing some major changes. Hopefully this time round the WP platform won't have as many glitches which is the main reason I decided to move to Blogger in the first place. I do admit that I've been quite lazy with the aspect of Stardust's actual design but I hope to remedy that and bring her back to life soon.

Recently I've been dabbling with video editing for my Youtube Channel. My Youtube Channel is still in it's beginner phase but I soon hope to mold it into a Kawaii/Gaming Community that everyone can love and enjoy. Sweet Moments : February 2016

During the ending of February Panama's local stores start putting out their Back to School supplies as most students begin during the ending of February beginning of March. While I am not currently in school I always get excited when this time of year comes round because I always happen to find Kawaii gems while visiting each store. On this particular visit I found a really cute good sized bag to hold my planner/stationery supplies as well as some really cute pencil pouches and pastel colored pens. February was full of a lot of outings such as the Japanese Calendar Expo as well as Japanese Cultural Day. Our friends from Chile also came to visit so we went to different historical sights to show them around.

Dunkin Donuts had Valentine themed donuts which I got to sample one day after work while waiting for my Husband to pick me up.

These are a few of my favorite things. :-)

It is not often that I find myself here at the computer because for a long time I have found that sitting here in this chair can be quite draining. Life is moving at such a quick pace and I can rarely stop to gather my thoughts. As of now I’m allowing myself to take a brief respite. Far Away are the days where I would spend endless hours staring at this very screen. Maybe when life slows down I’ll be able to enjoy this pastime of mine again.

Happy Home Designer - Anicotti's Pizza Party Place

I've had a Youtube account for sometime now but just have recently begun to upload videos. I created the channel mainly to showcase my favorite video games and kawaii findings. There are moments in game where I've felt that I want to share the happiness I'm currently experiencing with my friends and now with this channel I can finally do that. When filming with my cellphone my hand can get quite shaky so my previous uploads are not of the greatest quality. Recently my Husband bought me a little stand for my phone so that I can film my videos properly.

While playing I will often say something out of excitement or anger so it should be a fun experience getting to know me through my videos as well. I'm currently using Windows Movie Maker for editing but if you can recommend a better program to me that is accessible via a Windows computer I will be truly grateful.

Life in Routine

Living the adult life can get pretty boring when you're stuck following a daily routine and only look forward to moments where you can spend time with your significant other and your friends. I remember in my teens I was fascinated by so many things and I would live my life and not really realize what was going on in my surroundings but even though I was not completely aware I was still appreciative. It almost feels like at some point in our adult lives we reach a point where life can become a total blur. We are alive - living & breathing but are we really aware? Most days I feel like a machine waiting to fulfill my next task and then the next day I do it all over again. I blindly go to work from 9:30 AM to 6:00 pm and usually reach home around 7:00 pm only to have a few hours to enjoy what's left of the day.

Being aware of your surroundings can be a good thing but it can be a bad thing as well. It's good to be aware so that your alert whenever danger is nearby but when you're constantly aware of your everyday life and everything that moves around you it feels like excruciating noise pounding inside your brain. Watching the clock, counting the minutes to be released from your prison. It's almost like we're zombies just passing by waiting for the next victim. And were half dead screaming - "Brains...brains.." because it's the only thing we know of since we got infected.

Right now I should be sleeping but I'm not my mind feels so wired yet I have to be up at 6:00 AM.
