I belong to several groups and have made a lot of friends in each of them. Sure, we only know each other online – but it’s a great feeling that there are people out there who are available to help or just make you feel good about yourself!

Well, since my last post about treasuries that I had been included in, I’ve received more emails – YEAH!! I love featuring treasuries and my friends who have curated them.

Meet Valerie, from Crochet Gal. Valerie created this Flip Flop Treasury including not just one of my flip flop items (earrings), but my new flip flop stitch markers as well!

Thanks Valerie! Now I get a lot of my yarn from Valerie’s shop – and boy does she have some great choices. And just when I think I’ve gotten her latest colors, she comes up with new ones. I love this purple cotton yarn – can’t you just see this made up into wash cloths?

Meet Julie from Dinkalulu where Gypsy trinkets abound. Julie is one of my friends in the Hoarders Unite group. Oh, we are not those kind of hoarders that you see on tv. We hoard craft supplies!! Mine haven’t gotten to the point where I have to have walkways running between them

Thanks Julie! I’m sure you have heard about lampwork beads. Well, I don’t make them, and I currently don’t use them to make earrings – but I’m becoming very tempted. With that in mind, I found these gorgeous flower lampwork beads in Julie’s shop!

Meet Kirby from Happy Hound Creative Kirby is a ‘sneaker’ friend (Sneak Attack) and she came up with this Summer Means treasury Kirby included a pair of my flip flop earrings!

Thanks Kirby! Kirby makes the neatest cards that you can use for thank you notes, invitations and more. I’ve ordered from her before and her work is excellent! I just love these little invitations perfect for a baby shower or a little girls birthday party.

No, I haven’t changed bodies with my Mom! I was getting ready to write about my friends who have included me in their treasuries for the week, and then I get several more emails last nite and this morning letting me know that I’ve been included in some more. Boy did I FREAK OUT!!

What does “S.N.E.A.K.” stand for?? Sneakers Notorious on Etsy for Attacking with Kindness!?

Twice a week we “sneak” up on a couple of shops that have few or no sales, shopping, ‘hearting,’ and purchasing, if we see a li’l something that catches our fancy. Our aim is to get the new/undiscovered Etsy shops a whole slew of surprise item views and business in a very short time, to give them a loving little boost of encouragement!?

Last nite’s attack was sponsored by Teresa from Yarn 2 Spin. And she picked some terrific new Etsy shops!

Are you familiar with Etsy? The place for artists to share their creations? Or supplies?

There is a tool – a treasury hunter – Craftopolis that enables you to see if your Etsy shop(s) have an item featured in a treasury. I’ve been checking it frequently. I also get emails from curators (the person who creates the treasury) that lets me know I’ve been featured. But no matter what I did, I couldn’t see the list of treasuries that included listings from my Stash Shop – where I sell fabric, craft supplies and more. Why not? Because I wasn’t looking at the right Google address.

Yes, Google. I have my 2 etsy shops and my website, listed under Google Analytics. And I guess I wasn’t picking the right one – whenever I checked my stash shop! Well – that’s fixed, and I found myself in 3 treasuries – some dating back to June. And I apologize in advance to the curators. I always like to thank them, by featuring something from their shop.

So without further ado…

Ha ha – the missing square was my teddy bear fabric, that sold before I had the chance to take a screen shot of the treasury. But that’s ok – maybe that’s why the fabric sold – being in this treasury.

From Patch Supply – these cute little plastic boxes – would be perfect to ship the earrings or stitch markers that I make in my handmade shop.

I have a basket in my bathroom, filled with empty toilet paper tubes.

I have a friend who comes over once a month to clean my house as I can’t do any of the heavy cleaning. She asked me today, why I was saving them?

Well, I figured everyone used them! So I showed her. I use them to hold cords from various small items – to keep the cords from getting tangled up with other ones!

This one is the cord from my cell phone. I use one for every type of cord you can imagine. I even use an empty paper towel tube for the cord for my sewing machine, as I have to store the machine when I’m not using it – I have no room to keep it on a table.

Upon seeing what I was doing with the tubes, my friend said an empty paper towel tube would be perfect for those mini Christmas lights that are always getting in a mess.
