September 2026 marks a massive kickoff for the fall television season, packing the streaming calendar with high-stakes thrillers, gritty underworld dramas, and highly anticipated sitcom revivals.

Whether you are looking for the nostalgic returns of Scrubs and A Different World, the tense espionage of Slow Horses, or a double dose of The Traitors with the fourth season of the Canadian version and the first U.S. "New Blood" edition, this month’s lineup offers a deep roster of binge-worthy premieres.

Chad Powers

The walls are closing in on Russ’ (Glen Powell) lie, and if he and Danny (Frankie Rodriguez) want Chad to survive the regular season and lead the Catfish to the College Football Playoff, the only person who can help them is the last person who wants to: Ricky (Perry Mattfield).

Saturday Night Live UK

SNL UK is back for its second season on Saturday, September 12 at 10 p.m. ET on the CTV Comedy Channel in Canada and streaming on Crave.

R.J. Decker

Though they agree to set aside their differences and come together, nothing in Salt Lake City lasts forever as enduring bonds are tested, surprising new relationships are formed – and marriages come to an end.

The seventh season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City premieres on Wednesday, September 16, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo and streams on Hayu in Canada.

A high-stakes anthology series based on the acclaimed first season of the podcast, American Hostage is a psychological thriller set in the 1970s inspired by the harrowing true story of an Indianapolis radio reporter, Fred Heckman (Jon Hamm), who is thrust into the middle of a life-or-death crisis when hostage-taker Tony Kiritsis (Giovanni Ribisi) demands to be interviewed on his popular radio news program.

American Hostage premieres with two episodes on Sunday, September 20, on Crave.

The Traitors Canada

Hosted by Karine Vanasse, The Traitors Canada returns for its fourth season on Monday, September 21, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on CTV and streams the next day on Crave.

Line of Fire

Line of Fire follows a family of law enforcement agents who become targets of a mysterious assassin after a U.S. Marshal falls in the line of duty, forcing them to use their expertise to protect each other.

The series, which stars Peter Krause, premieres on Monday, September 21, at 10 p.m. on Citytv and NBC. Line of Fire will also stream on Citytv+ in Canada.

Brothers

Playing fictionalized versions of themselves, Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson try to live together on a Texas ranch – a close space that puts their friendship to the test.

A Different World

When Deborah (Maleah Joi Moon), Dwayne Wayne (Kadeem Hardison), and Whitley Gilbert's (Jasmine Guy) free-spirited, well-intentioned, yet rebellious youngest child enters her freshman year at Hillman College, she finds the shadow of her parents difficult to escape as she sets out to build her own legacy, while having the time of her life, alongside a whole new generation of Hillman's best and brightest.

Netflix’s continuation of the classic series premieres on Thursday, September 24.

Slo Pitch

Presented in an “outrageous mockumentary style,” Canadian series Slo Pitch follows the Brovaries – a lovable, queer, beer league softball team through the ups and downs on and off the field.

The series stars Jess Salgueiro, Karen Knox, Gwenlyn Cumyn, Emma Hunter, and Emily Hampshire, and premieres on Friday, September 25 with two episodes on Crave.

Waiting for the Out

Dan (Josh Finan) explores his past with an imprisoned father, brother and uncle. Working in prison triggers fears he's destined for jail too. His growing obsession endangers himself and his family.

Saturday Night Live

SNL is also back this September as season 52 premieres on Saturday, September 26 on NBC.

Scrubs

The second season of the Scrubs revival premieres on Wednesday, September 30 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CTV/ABC and streams the following day on Crave and Disney+ in Canada.

Another year, another incredible day at FAN EXPO Canada. This year’s fanfest was packed with massive panels, incredible cosplay, and a convention floor that was essentially a pop-culture treasure hunt.

After covering the expo for years, sometimes the best convention memories happen when you’re just wandering the floor with your friends. Here’s a look at my favourite highlights and finds from this year’s event.

The Ultimate TMNT Funko Pop Hunt

I went into this weekend on a mission: track down my missing Funko Pop! Retro Toys Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (#16-19). I had picked up Leonardo years ago, and despite the endless waves of different TMNT lines that have come out since, I was determined to complete that specific line.

Honestly, I didn’t realize back then how hard these would be to come by. I managed to find Donatello and Michelangelo at one of the booths fairly early, but Raphael was nowhere to be found. I must have searched every single vendor in the South Building. I was even contemplating heading back to the North Building, but I couldn’t bring myself to get on those elevators just yet! Eventually, I hit up the MyPops.ca booth, and sure enough, someone on their team managed to find a Raphael tucked away behind a bunch of supply. Leave it to MyPops.ca to come through! Between this score and finally receiving my Spice Girls set earlier this summer, my Funko shelf is looking pretty fantastic. Also, I cannot believe I have a Funko shelf.

Custom Merch at STACKTV

A fun activation of ours was at the STACKTV booth. They were celebrating their animation catalogue by letting fans build personalized, custom keychains.

For my central piece, I had to go with Rick and Morty. We then got to dig through a massive collection of stickers to customize it further. I naturally ended up decking mine out with Superman, Ghostface from Scream, and a Super Star from Super Mario Bros. It was a surprisingly relaxing break from the convention crowds and left me with a truly unique piece of merch.

Entering the Bobiverse

The most technologically impressive setup on the floor goes to Audible’s The Infinite Extent activation. To promote the newest installment of the Bobiverse series, they allowed fans to step inside the Heaven Vessel and undergo “consciousness replication.”

They were dealing with some technical issues earlier in the day, but it was absolutely worth the wait. They did a facial scan and generated a whole army of digital clones of myself! The “replicants” were amazing – I got to take a selfie with the medieval version of myself, a cottage country clone, a space mechanic, a wizard, an astronaut, a hipster librarian and one just chilling at the beach.

Bayside High, Plinko, and the Big Comfy Couch

The most fun we had all weekend was easily at the Retrokid booth – and it was all totally unplanned. If you grew up on Canadian television, this booth is always dangerous for your wallet. I immediately spotted a Saved by the Bell Bayside Tigers sweatshirt and had to buy it.

Making a purchase got me a token to play Plinko, with a chance to win stickers from a mystery chest or a secret package. I won the package, which turned out to be an amazing Téléfrançais Alumni sweater that I gifted to my best friend. Also fun – my initial purchase came with an invite to return later in the day for a photo op with my crew on the actual Big Comfy Couch with Molly.

Week 7 of Big Brother 28 wrapped up with the eviction of Mallory Aurichio, who became the latest houseguest sent packing after the Mosh Pit alliance disintegrated almost as quickly as it came together.

Following her departure, media outlets caught up with Mallory in the press pool to discuss her decision to trust the Mosh Pit despite her instincts and who she feels most betrayed by. Here are the highlights from her exit interview.

On Trusting the Mosh Pit & Betrayal

Reflecting on why she bought into the Moshpit alliance—and specifically trusting D despite having reservations—Mallory admitted to relying on logic rather than her gut.

"I didn't fully trust the Mosh Pit, but I trusted it this week because I had been getting a lot of reassurance from Barrett, and I didn't think it made logical sense to form an alliance and blow it up not even a week later. So I had kind of been relying on logic, which I should have just trusted my gut."

When asked who hurt her standing the most across the entire season, Mallory didn't hesitate: "I feel the most betrayed by Drew, like in regards to this whole season. And if I won [HOH], I'd put up all three icons."

Under-the-Radar Alliances

Despite being left out of the main majority alliance for the first four weeks, Mallory clarified that she was quietly operating alongside key houseguests even if they didn't put a official title on it.

"Me, Taylor, and Yosh had never formed like an official alliance, but we had kind of talked about how we should work together... Once the pit was formed, I felt like it would have been a mistake to be in a solidified alliance with everybody in the house, but yeah, I did feel like me, Yosh, and Taylor were working together."

Looking ahead to who should take home the grand prize, Mallory is firmly in her ally's corner: "I'm rooting for Melody."

To wrap up her exit interview, Mallory gave her quick takes on her fellow houseguests:
