It's Christmas time again and I am already home here in Bukidnon. I will spend my christmas here with my family. I decided to go home kasi wala ng tao dito sa apartment, lahat umuwi na. Ang daming pasahero, siksikan talaga pero nakasakay din ako.

Nakakamiss na talaga sa baby ko. Wala kasing internet dito at maalikabok pa kasi inaayos ang daan at eespaltuhin para gawing shortcut patungong Davao. Grabeng maalikabok talaga. Wish namin na sana uulan para di maalikabok.

I'm only at home most of the time. Si Joro ayaw lumabas sa kwarto kasi maalikabok daw at baka paglaruan lang siya sa mga madudungis na mga bata...hehehe.

Simbang Gabi

Simbang Gabi had started and I never missed any day without going to the mass. I really want to finish the 9-day mass up to Christmas. All of us, my padmates were attending the mass. Nakakarelax at nakagaan ng loob ba.

It's always raining here but that's fine. I enjoyed playing the virtual games of facebook like cafe world, farmville, farmtown, fishville and petville. Wala ng oras talaga at my electric bills is so high. Anyway, I enjoyed playing it.

Their Birthday Is Coming

Sorry for not updating my blog. I'm so very busy in farmtown and farmville.

Rolly and Bacon will be celebrating their birthday this coming Sunday, October 25. Alam ko si Bacon ay excited na naman sa birthday nya. Kasama sa birthday ay ang mga anak ni Bacon na sina Chez, Sweetie, Sikyu, Pinky, Panda, Bulilit. Sasali din sina Joro at Booh....hahahah

We will be watching the party through webcam live.

The Effect Of Typhoon Ondoy

The flooding in Manila and nearby provinces is a history that cannot be forgotten. Grabe ang epekto nito, climate change talaga ang nangyari kaya tayo ay mag-isip isip sa mga basura na itatapon natin.

Nakakaawa talaga ang nangyaring ito sa Manila. The homeless and evacuees are the most affected. Sa dami ba naman ng tubig na bumaha sa Manila, it will take time to dry out.

Lessons to learn. Never throw your rubbish in the rivers and creeks. Keep our environment clean and love our nature.

Massive Flooding In Metro Manila

Last Saturday was the worst disaster that happened in Metro Manila and Luzon in history due to typhoon Ondoy. Grabe talaga ang baha, hanggang bubong ng bahay. Kawawa naman ang mga naapektuhan at ang mga kawawa doon yong mga nakatira malapit sa ilog o yong mga bahay na slum areas.

I just hope that this will come to an end and to start rebuilding again.

Typhoon Ondoy flood the streets of Metro Manila

MANILA, Philippines – As typhoon Ondoy continues to hit Luzon, Metro Manila and nearby areas are currently flooded, the National Disaster Coordinating Council (NDCC) reported.

Based on NDCC’s latest situation report, areas in the National Capital Region that are not passable include Malabon (C4 Letre, M.H. Del Pilar, Panghulo Road, Catmon and Dampalit); E. Rodriguez cor. Araneta Avenue in Quezon City; Palasan in Valenzuela; Brgys. 180, 185, 187 in Pasay; Brgy. Santolan in Pasig; Barangay Malanday in Marikina; Brgy. Tunasan in Muntinlupa; and Brgys. Banaba, Sta. Ana, and San Mateo in Rizal.

According to the recent weather bulletin from Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) signal no. 2 remains in Aurora, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Nueva Ecija, Pangasinan, Tarlac, Zambales, Pampanga, Bulacan, Rizal, Northern Quezon, and Polilo Island. While Isabela, Mountain Province, Ifugai, Benguet, La Union, Ilocos Sur, Laguna, Cavite, Batangas, Mindoro provinces, Lubang Island, Marinduque, Camarines Norte, Bataan, Metro Manila and the rest of Quezon are under signal no. 1.

PAGASA added, typhoon Ondoy continues to move with a maximum sustained winds of 85 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 100 kph. and is expected to leave the country’s area of responsibility by Monday morning.

I Am Hooked To Farmtown

I am at this time addicted to farmtown. Kasalanan to ni Rolly kasi kinumbinse nya ako. But no regrets because I'm really enjoying it. Palagi nalang puyat sa tending to my farm and accepting invitations to harvest and plow.

Journey To Fantasyland

Sorry for not updating my blog for a while now because I was busy in the past few weeks in virtual farming, Farmtown. Pero ito na naman ako writing about my trip in Mapang last month during their barrio fiesta.

We went to Dapitan City and had a rides in the entertainment fun fair there and so called the biggest in Mindanao and I think the only kung di ako nagkamali. Sorry nalang at di ko nadala si Joro doon, sana masaya siya.

But I really enjoyed there with the company of Rolly's nephews and nieces and Tita Rose. Ang saya talaga kaya lang, malakas ang epekto noon kasi the following day, masakit na masakit ang likod ko sa bullride na yon. Pero ok lang at least enjoy.

Happy 2nd Anniversary JORO

I am away for a week or two kasi mamimista muna ako sa Mapang, the hometown of Rolly in Zamboanga del Norte. It took about 8 hours of travel from Cagayan de Oro City. I meet all of Rolly's relatives and they are all accomodating and caring.

I went home to Valencia also last week to attend the double wedding of my cousins and the christening of my cousin's son.

August 9 is our anniversary. JORO will be turning 2 years old and it come so quickly. Well, I'm happy that JORO is already turning 2.

Willie Is A Robinhood

Willie Revillame announced on Friday on his hit noontime show "Wowowee" that he received P2 million in cold cash allegedly from an anonymous donor. Revillame said the cash was placed in 3 brown envelopes and delivered to his house on Thursday, July 30. "Ito, binuksan ko kagabi, tatlong sobre at ang laman nito ay puro pera. Ito ay totoong pera at nakalagay sa envelope ay 'urgent.' Ang laman ng isang envelope ay P500,000, 'yong isa P750,000 at ang isa ay P750,000 din, a total of P2 million," he said.

The host, who reportedly earns P1 million a day, said he "does not need the money." Thus, after consulting his lawyer, he decided to give away the money to charity. "Tutal, sa akin na po ito. Gusto kong makita niyo at ayaw kong naglilihim sa inyo. 'Yong P500,000 ibibigay ko sa Bantay Bata. 'Yong P500,000 ibibigay ko sa 71 Dreams Foundation, 'yong naulila sa stampede. 'Yong P500,000 ibibigay ko po sa mga OFW na hindi makauwi na nandoon pa din sa Dubai," he said.

"'Yong P100,000 ay ibibigay ko sa conjoined twins, 'yong dalawang ulong bata. So, may P400,000 na matitira, 'yong P400,000 na 'yon ay ilalagay ko na...sa 'Wowowee' yon, para sa mga batang hindi nakakapag-aral at sa mga batang kapos sa kaligayan. 'Yong P400,000 na 'yon ay dito na sa 'Wowowee'," he added. Revillame thanked the person who gave the P2 million cash because it enabled him to help those in need. "Hindi po ako naghahangad ng malaking pera. Ang hangad ko po ay maraming tao ang matulungan at mapasaya," he said.

Fire After Fire

Fire after fire hits Cagayan de Oro City last week. Good that I'm far away from the said fire or else, baka naka evacuate din ako gaya nila.

Few hours after a huge blaze destroyed over 100 houses in Barangay Lapasan, another fire another blaze hit a five-door apartment type commercial building around 12:20 a.m. Thursday.

It started at Hong Chao Merchandising owned by a Taiwanese national along Guillermo Street.

The cause of the fire is still undetermined and no one was injured among the five families occupying the building. The estimated cost was about half a million pesos.

More than a hundred houses were reduced into ashes after a conflagration broke out in a densely populated neighborhood in SitioTabacco, Barangay Puntod, Wednesday.

Fire probers said the fire damaged an estimated P1.6 million in property where houses are built close to each other. Investigators had not yet determined what started the fire.

Over 200 families were left homeless adding that a large number of residents were not able to save their personal belongings because they were not around when the blaze started around 2:40 p.m.

It's My Birthday Today

I sing Happy Birthday to me. Yes, it's my birthday today. I'm with my family now in Bukidnon and I'm going to celebrate it with them and I will invite our neighbors kasi crisis ngayon..hehheh. Kasama ko si Joro kasi ayaw magpaiwan sa pad at saka, birthday din nya.

My wish? Na sana mahuli na yong naghold-up sa akin kahapon. I was robbed at knifepoint yesterday after I withdrew money from the ATM machine in Carmen, Cagayan de Oro. If I only ride the pedicab, maybe I would not be robbed.

Ang pinaghirapan mong pera mapunta lang sa mga walanghiyang holdaper na yan.

Since it's my birthday today, pasa muna yan. Bukas ko na sila aatakehen ulit.

Enjoy muna ako to the max with my relatives.

What A Mess

I don't know why people doesn't know how to dispose their waste properly. They just dumped it in the streets or anywhere which is wrong.

Ang kawawa, tayong mamamayan. Tayong nagdurusa at magkasakit pa tayo nito. Mas lalo na yong mga kabataan.

Let us just hope that the government will do something about it. I can't say anything but let us help our environment. We can do something by disposing our garbage properly. It can cause pollution and threat to our health. Why we should risk ourselves that eventually, we can do it. It is very simple but for others, it is hard to do.

Joro's Best Friend

Joro have a best friend now while he's here in CdO. My friend next door let me borrowed Pooh so that Joro can play with him. He is so happy now and he don't mind me anymore..heheheh

CdO is in red alert kasi merong banta ng pagbobomba sa mga malls. Yesterday, the security of Limkitkai had found two bombs planted just outside the mall. The bombers planned to bomb the mall but they could not get inside because of the metal detector installed. Nakaawa din yong mga namatay sa Cotabato, sa simbahan pa naman. Sana matigil na tong mga teroristang ito sa panggugulo sa atin. Napakawalang mga puso nila.

By the way, I will take him home to Valencia for my birthday with Joro.

Michael Jacson Dies

MANILA - Philippine officials and politicians on Friday joined prisoners in mourning the death of Michael Jackson, described by the government as an imperfect pop icon.

"We join the world in mourning the death of a music icon," President Gloria Arroyo's cabinet secretary Silvestre Bello said in a statement issued by the presidential palace.

The megastar, 50, who apparently died of cardiac arrest at his rented home in the US city of Los Angeles, "revolutionized music and touched the lives of so many people, and while he was not perfect, he definitely contributed immensely to the music industry," Bello added.

House Speaker Prospero Nograles said Jackson's legions of fans around the world will miss the pop icon and his music.

"We extend our love and sympathy to the family of Michael Jackson and join his fans and supporters in praying for his eternal repose. He will always be remembered for his contributions and legacy," he said in a statement.

Jackson drew an estimated 50,000 people in his one and only concert in Manila in December 1996, when he had to perform on reclaimed land on Manila Bay after the city mayor refused to give a permit on grounds of allegations of child abuse against the star.

Joey Marquez, a former local film star who was at the time the top executive of the southern Manila district that eventually hosted the concert, told local television he now regretted having refused Jackson's offer to give his host his famous sequined hat.

"I should have accepted it," Marquez said.

Some local celebrities such as TV host Jojo Alejar shed tears on nationwide TV as he shared his admiration for the late King of Pop. "I guess pretty much yun talaga, ganun kalaki yung influence niya sa aking career," he said before imitating some of Jackson's patented dance moves.

Singer Gary Valenciano, who has been dubbed the "Michael Jackson" of the Philippines, said he started crying as soon as he heard the news while on a plane to Beijing.

"In some ways it's like part of me has died too. He was an inspiration to me. I still wonder if he ever read the letter I wrote him when he performed here. It was the least I could do for all the years that he inspired me," he said in a statement.

Another singer, Zsa Zsa Padilla, said she had a feeling that Jackson "would die young" and said she was lucky that she was able to see him perform in his one and only concert in Manila.

Meanwhile, Filipino prisoners who spawned a worldwide Internet hit with their version of Jackson's "Thriller" video are to recreate their dance in tribute to the dead star, television reported Friday.

The performance will be held Saturday inside the provincial jail in Cebu, said Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center officials.

"Thriller", a global hit on the Internet video site YouTube, shows 1,400 inmates wearing saffron prison uniforms performing their own version of one of Jackson's most enduring hits.

Cebu prison officials, who could not be reached by telephone from Manila on Friday, introduced dances as a way of improving physical fitness and to relieve stress among inmates.

The four-minute video of the original prison dance has so far generated more than 23 million hits on YouTube.

In Manila, street entrepreneurs rushed out to market cotton T-shirts emblazoned with Michael Jackson's face and the words "Thank You for the Music", AFP photographers saw.

Local radio stations played Michael Jackson tunes while Filipino bloggers paid tribute to the star.
"I just feel sad that my hazy childhood memories are so imprinted by his music," wrote "blogger Paulo".

Nothing To Do

Few weeks ago, I jammed with the students residing in one of the boarding houses next to my pad. And this American guy was one of my friend's friends and we invited him for a photo shoot. Of course, he never failed us. The dog above is one of his pet, a very lovely dog. I don't know what breed is that dog.

He is missionary of one of the churches sent here. I forgot to ask about his religion but definitely not catholic. Anyway, we had some fun and as the title of this post says, nothing to do. Just nothing to do really.hehehehh

I am very glad when I checked my EC rank that I'm leading. But I don't know when it will last. But I will try to maintain my place as much as possible. I just came out of the blue at heto ako ngayon, nasa taas na. Sana walang mang-aagaw ng korona ko..heheh.

Dito lang ako sa bahay kasama si Joro. I have plan to do a sari-sari business kasi pasukan na. Sayang din naman ang tsansa ko kasi daming estudyante dito sa paligid ko. I will try this out pa.

It was raining so hard last night buti nalang, di bumaha at eto pa, nawala pang koneksyon ng internet. Takot ata sa ulan etong internet ko.

This was taken during my few days in my new pad. Lumipat kasi ako dito kasi ginawang mall yong dati kung tinitirhan. Pero, at least dito, maganda at bago pa. Medyo may kamahalan nga lang pero ok lang. Tambay pa rin ako, walang trabaho. Mailap ang trabaho dito.

I just hope that I can find a job soon. Pray for me.

We had a good time with my new friends in my pad. Kasiyahan lang.
