J.A.R.V.I.S has became a Reality Now

Hello folks, Today I'll be introducing you to the fiction that became a reality now, yes that' s true. Most of you must have watched the Sci-Fi Movie Iron Man 3 right ?? where the main lead Robert Downey (Iron Man ) does most of his work with the help of his system called J.A.R.V.I.S . The system that responds to what Iron Man asks for like "Jarvis, do me a favor, blow the Mark 42".

So Inspired from this movie , a group of computer security enthusiast pursuing their bachelors degree have built Operating System named " J.A.R.V.I.S ". Basically its Linux Based OS with Artificial Intelligence and Compelling looks .

This initiative was taken by 18 years old guy named "Chirag Dewan".

Here is the List what this OS offers:

Basic Interaction with User through voice.
Scanning Targets for Pentest through voice.
Scanning Basic Information about Targets for Pentest through voice.
Handling Social Profiles And Mails through voice
And much more come.

Must say this guys have done pretty much good job in just development time of 4 months . Yet 3rd Phase of the OS is to come .

Blu-ray and DVD are media storage devices. There is a lot of difference between Blu-ray and DVD that are not known among the people since the discs may look alike in shape and size. This article will enlighten you on the many differences between Blu-ray and DVD.

One of the media difference is image quality

Blu-ray has a better image quality than DVD. This is as a result of the superior resolution which make Blu-ray better than DVD. Blu-ray has a detailed image with clearly defined features or structures like wrinkled clothes or strands of hair.

Another difference is audio quality

Blu-ray has a better audio quality than DVD. This is as a result of high resolution power of the Blu-ray. Blu-ray has a maximum resolution of 1,920x1,080 while the DVD is limited to 720x480 hence giving the Blu-ray a clear advantage of having a better audio quality. Another reason is because of the presence of high resolution soundtrack formats like DolbytrueHD which enhances the quality of the sound in a Blu-ray disc.

The difference is clearly seen in the price

Blu-ray is more expensive than DVD. This is because of the special features that are attached to Blu-ray hence it is worth much more than the DVD. Apart from the special feature some of the factors that also affect the price of the Blu-ray are the image and audio quality.

Blu-ray has additional features to it as opposed to the DVD. The Blu-ray has a pop-up menu that allows you to access functions while the movie is still on. Another feature is the ability to download new content right from your Blu-ray player hence making the Blu-ray better than DVD. You can also play the blu-ray through blu-ray player windows software for it’s best viewing quality.

The load time

Blu-ray takes a while to load. A Blu-ray disc can load after 3 minutes. The speed of loading a DVD is much faster than Blu-ray hence gives it an advantage over the Blu-ray.

Storage Capacity

Blu-ray is wider than the DVD. The Blu-ray holds up to 25 GB of data while the DVD holds 4.7 GB of data. The large storage capacity shows a clear advantage over high standards allowing high quality videos and audios to be streamed.

The 3D aspect

Latest movies and series are available 3D aspect, although there are 3D DVDs but all latest movies are available in Blu-ray. This gives the Blu-ray an advantage over the DVD because most people prefer the 3D effect.

Laser technology

The DVD uses the red laser wave length because of its tiny groves that cannot be accessed by the large laser. Blu-ray just like the name suggest uses blue laser to read the stored information. The blue laser also allows close and precise reading of data from the Blu-ray disc.

Hello folks, This time we'll let you know how to configure Lex and Yacc. Sorry its off topic but just came across it so thought of sharing with you. Talking about Lex , "Lex is a computer program that generates lexical analyzers "- wikipedia . Lex and yacc are tools used to generate lexical analyzers and parsers for more information you visit Lex and Yacc Tutorials.

This tools are not shipped in Any version Ubuntu . So we'll show you how to can get them working in your ubuntu laced machine.

What You will need ?

Ubuntu Machine with Internet Connection.

Actually In Ubuntu, Lex and Yacc are having alternatives Flex and Bison.

Steps to Get Lex and Yacc :

Step #1: Open Terminal , which would look something like this.(for demo we are kubuntu but dont wory its much similar to ubuntu.)

Step #2: Now Type sudo apt-get install flex , it will connect to repository and do all stuff of installation for you . then type sudo apt-get install bison , this will install yacc alternative .

Step #3: To make sure your lex(~flex) and yacc(~bison) are installed properly just type in termianl which lex and then which yacc , it would look similar to this.

Now your ubuntu machine is ready for Lex and Yacc programs .

For Compiling And Running Lex Proprams:

1) lex sample.l

2) gcc -lfl lex.yy.c

3) ./a.out

Hello folks , here we come with new Custom ROM CZM(Crystal Zen Mod) v 2.5 by jaysidh dumbali. After great success of CZM v1.0 and CZM v2.0 , this ROM developer decided to give more tweaks and performance and reduce the number bugs reported in v1 and v2.

Flashing Procedure is same as for other ROM of Micromax A52. If you are familiar with that follow the steps

You will need rooted+CWM Recovery Installed in your A52 and CZM v2.5 ROM . Dont worry if you dont have this you get it by following this tutorial.

CZM v2.5 : Link

Once you have all of the above stuff just perform this steps.

Step 1#: Now Lets start place the CZM v2.5 zip in root of sdcard,make sure your A52 has min. charge level of 60% or above and you have taken backup of your current ROM .

Step #2: Switch off the phone and By pressing "Vol up + Power Button" get into the Clockwork Mod Recovery Mode.

Step #3: Now in there do "wipe data/factory reset" and "wipe cache" after that get into "mounts and storage" and there mount "System".

Step #4: Once you reach Step #4 now the main task remains and that is flashing the ROM. so now just select "install zip from sdcard" >> "choose zip from sdcard" >> "CZM.zip".

Step #5: You have initiated the Flashing process now just go on press next , flashing would take hardly 5min or less and then reboot your device at this point it will ask you for Fix root make it yes and then it will ask for Disable Recovery and make that no. That's it your A52 is now Armed with CZM v2.5 Enjoy.

Hello folks, Today we gonna introduce you to a new Technology which could be a better alternative for NFC. Near Field Communication(NFC) , a technology for data transfer which was introduced just few years back. Often its not supported by all phones like entry level android phones.

So here comes a better alternative "NearBytes". Nearbytes was founded in 2011, This company has developed a proximity communication technology based sound waves.

Nearbytes like NFC works within proximity of 10cms and gives a transfer speed of upto 100kbps. Though it is quite slow but atleast you don't need to have special hardware in your device like NFC does .

Talking about working of this technology, while sending it simply encodes data into series of warbles(sound waves) and at receiver end this sound waves are decoded back to data. Considering noisy environment , no need to worry it works fine .

Beware of New Malware Link Spreading over Facebook Posts

Hello Folks, this is not the first time a malware link spreading on a social network like facebook. but i thought of sharing detailed information on such malicious link with you. Just yesterday found some of my friends posting link in rapid fire mode , i was like huh.. what exciting stuff is in that link that he' s just posting in every group that we were subscribed to . So as an cyber security enthusiast just did kind of short research on it and found these facts which would make you aware how this links could tamper the security your accounts.

That suspicious link was shortened and looking like this:

And these unusual sharing of link raised a suspicion:

After getting on this link it redirected to this :

As i was using Firefox on virtual machine it automatically detected my browser, and tried to social engineer (To trick user by for doing some unintended activity like clicking on malicious link etc ) me and alerted that my browser was having critical bug which could be fixed after downloading the upgrade which was not actually an upgrade but malware.

On further analyzing it using virus total (a service that analysis suspicious url and files online)

Stunning right ? ? , a url that is spreading malware got undetected by 39 popular antivirus services. Out of 39 only 1 service flagged it as Suspicious which clearly gives signs of Zero day(Newly released exploit) threat

So folks you just witnessed the level of sophistication increased in malicious activity on social network. This was just an example of facebook.

Now What actions should be taken to avoid such mess:

1) Never click shortened links directly. use services like dead.altervista.org where the link redirects to.

2) Never try to install upgrade like "Browser Security Patch" from untrusted sources.

3) Never authorize access to suspicious apps.

[ROM][Untouched] Clean Stock v4 for Micromax A52

Hello Guys , Enjoying a Huge range of Custom ROM's for your Micromax A52 huh ? . But we got many request from users that they now want to switch back to the Stock ROM of Micromax A52 , so we thought of releasing Clean Stock v4 by parth (heartily thanks to him ).

Ok, Talking about this ROM . It is Stock v4 for Micromax A52 for all those folks who want unrooted + odexed + secured boot-loader, in short completely untouched sounds interesting right. So lets move to its flashing procedure.

Requirement: Micromax A52 with Clockwork Mod Recovery 5/6 packed.

Download Files: Clean Stock v4: Link

Step 1: Copy the zip file of Clean Stock v4 ROM to the root of sdcard and switch off the phone.

Step 2: Press key combination "Vol up + power button" so you can get into recovery mode.

Step 3: In recovery mode do following:

- wipe data/factory reset

- wipe cache

Now go to advance options and in there wipe dalvik-cache.

Step 4: Now get back to main menu of recovery and select install zip from sdcard > choose zip from sdcard > Clean_Stock_Rom_v4.zip.

Step 5: Let the installation get completed and once it is completed. Then just reboot your phone . Voila ! ! ! your Micromax A52 is laced with Clean Untouched Stock v4 ROM .

This ROM is completely TESTED by us . we found no bugs till yet . If you encounter any just let us know we would be glad to debug it :)

Hello Folks we are back with next post in this series Easily Enable/Disable some important utilities of Windows System. previously we discussed of [How-To] Enable/Disable Task Manager in Windows XP/7/8 So Continuing further now we'll see how to enable/disable registry editor(regedit) with ease.

Registry Editor:

"Registry Editor deals with the "Registry, which contains information that Windows continually references during operation, such as profiles for each user, the applications installed on the computer and the types of documents that each can create, property sheet settings for folders and application icons, what hardware exists on the system, and the ports that are being used" - Microsoft .

Most of the time this utility is disabled by Administrator/Malware(Virus) so as to limit your control over the system. No worries In this problem you will get an idea to get rid off this problem

For this we'll be using local group policy editor make sure that you have administrative privilege because we gonna need that now.

Step 1: Press "Win + R" or from start menu just click on "RUN".

Step 2: Type in "gpedit.msc" and press ENTER key.

Step 3: After hitting ENTER key or clicking OK you would see "Local Group Policy Editor"window.

Step 4: Then in the left pane navigate to these location "User Configuration > Administrative Template > System "

There in the right pane find option named "prevent access to registry editing tool" open it.

Step 5: You would see something like this

   Now to Enable Registry Editing Tool : Just select "Disabled " radio button and click "OK".
                Disable Registry Editing Tool: Just select "Enabled" radio button and click "OK".
   don't confuse with option

[How-To] Enable/Disable Task Manager in Windows XP/7/8

Hello Folks , As our niche is Android, Windows Tips and Tricks, Cloud Computing and Cyber Security. Today we are going to post an article on how to enable/disable task manager , Personally i faced this problem in enabling task manger in my PC and then had to do little bit google for it , so thought of making it available here for you.

Let' s Begin,

Step 1: Press these keys " Windows + R" pr select "run" from start menu , these will invoke Run dialogue box.

Step 2: In Run dialogue box type "gpedit.msc" without quotes and click on "OK", these would invoke Group Policy Editor (It is used to define user and computer configuration for group of user or computer).

Step 3: There you would find "Computer Configuration " and "User Configuration" in Left Pane.

Navigate to These path :

User Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> System -> Ctrl+Alt+Del

Step 4: Now In " Ctrl+Alt+Del option , you'll find "Remove Task Manager" open it.

             Now to Enable Task Manager: select "Disabled " radio button
                         Disable Task Manager: select "Enabled " radio button
             and click "OK". and close Group Policy Editor you will see effect immediately.

So, it is only sensible to make back-up copies of all your purchased DVDs so that you don’t worry about your original DVDs getting damaged. Now in the “Main Movie” part, you will see different reasonable time options like more than 2 hrs or 1 hr 30 minutes. Drag the title to “DVD Structure” that can be seen towards the left. After this you would normally see one of the pop videos, which shows the movie. What you do here is copy only the movie to a brand new DVD. After this select “Compression Settings” select various video and audio choices. You can also go for “No Compressions” if you want to retain the video’s original quality. In case when the movie’s size is more than what DVD can hold, then you can select “Automatic” for automatic compression of the video.

So, go ahead and give it a try to ArcSoft Total Media Theatre and DVD shrink for making your DVD copies, and enjoying them on your laptop on-the-move.

As we have heard about Cloud Computing we had also heard about Web 2.0,In fact Cloud Computing is similar to web 2.0 in many ways, or you can more likely say they are subset of each-other.

1) What exactly is Web 2.0?

Web 2.0 is a term that refers to Web design resulting in an interactive transport mechanism, rather than conventional static screens. Web 2.0 is viewed as a platform for running software applications instead of running them on desktop PCs.

A number of dynamics such as (Software Interoperability Standards, Virtualization technologies, High-bandwidth communications,Enterprise applications) all these delivered by Web 2.0 as a emergence of Cloud Computing.

2) Different people define in different ways.

Web 2.0, defines as “the network as platform, spanning all connected devices.”platforms that function like locally available software in the perception to the user. .

These definitions of Web 2.0 sound a lot like cloud computing, but without the technological term.
Cloud computing is defined By its architecture and infrastructure (a grid that is interconnect
computers/servers functioning as a whole), Web 2.0 is defined As how the user sees the serviced by the system. In other words, cloud computing is about computers; Web 2.0 is about people.

Cloud computing refers specifically use the term Internet as a computing platform; Web 2.0, as I’ve defined it, is an attempt to explore and explain the business rules of that platform. Perhaps the terms cloud computing and Web 2.0 are just two different ways of looking at the same phenomenon
cloud computing is a specific Web 2.0 technology. In any instance, know that both terms and both concepts promise similar results to end users.

Some of the characteristics commonly associated with Web 2.0 are as follows:

PRIVATE CLOUD, PUBLIC CLOUD,HYBRID CLOUD

In this model of cloud of (IaaS), which is the most basic, the providers of cloud offer computers, in the form of physical or more like the virtual devices, along with other resources. The virtual devices are run by hyper visor as guests, like KVM or Xen. The hyper visors pools management by the OSS (operational support systems) of cloud to direct the capability to scale for supporting a huge number of the virtual machines. The other resources that are in the (IAAS) clouds are the images in the virtual machines image library as well as file-based storage's, load balance's, firewalls, VLANs (virtual local area networks), IP addresses, and bundles of software. depending on demands from their huge pools that are installed in the carrier clouds, which is the dedicated private virtual networks that can easily be configured.

NOTE:

In the(Iaas) model you build entire architecture yourself like(Load-balanced web server for Front End cluster server and data tiers for Back End) the only difference between (Iaas) and traditional data centre is that the apps are running on the server that are virtual instead of physical.
For deploying their applications, the users of cloud then have to install on the devices the operating systems images along with their application software. In this basic model of Infrastructure as a Service, it is actually the user of the cloud who is in fact responsible for all the patching as well as maintaining the OS (operating systems) and the application software. Typically, the providers of cloud bill the services of Infrastructure as a Service on the basis of utility computing. It means that the cost of it will be reflecting the actual amount of the resources allocated as well as consumed.
Storage as a Service (STaaS) is the services which come under the Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). Storage as a Service manages all the services of storage in the cloud computing. In this particular service, there several security issues that need to be taken into account. For instance: Data Integrity, Confidentiality, Reliability,
In the model of (PaaS), the client creates his or her software by using the tools and libraries that are provided by the providers. Moreover, the client controls the software deployment as well as the configuration settings. The providers provide the networks, storage, servers, and other such services.
Using the software as service, the users of this business model can rent application software. The providers of the cloud computing manage the platforms and infrastructure on which applications run.The applications of cloud are accessed by end users via a browser of web or a desktop of or perhaps a mobile application, while the users’ data and business software are stored onto the servers at some remote area.

Software as a Service has indeed become one of the common models of delivery for a number of business applications, together with accounting, collaboration,of MIS (management information systems), CRM (customer relationship management), ERP (enterprise resource planning), HRM (human resource management), CM (content management), SDM (service desk management).

The fact of cloud computing claim that it allows the enterprises getting their apps up & running faster, improving the manageability while requiring less maintenance. It also enables the information technology to adjust resources more rapidly for meeting the unpredictable and fluctuating business demand.

WAY 2:

Now Cloud computing is divide into 2 ways

a) FRONT END
b) BACK END

a)Front Ends Include: Clients computers Consists of network application that user will
use for interface to access the back end of the system.(now each application in network
varies from one another and play there specfic role for the client to access the network)

b) Back Ends Include: Computer server, Data storage system router,switch,
and other networking device which comes under cloud section of th system.
Basically the back end is accessed by the public through internet mostly operted through
single or multiple location supported by the ISP (INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER)
Cloud Computing system maintain the communication between both which require
various (Networking application,Protocols,System software as the middle-ware).
through with it moniter various request from client,s and maintain the traffic
between both end's and maintain the communication.

WAY 3:

Let's simply equate cloud computing to the Internet,cloud allows us to access application that actually reside at location other than our computer or Internet based service simply we can say DISTANCE DATA CENTRE.

Lets say we are executive of corporation and our job is to make sure all employee
should have right (Hardware and Software) to their jobs.now buying Hardware isn't enough we have to purchase software or software licenses to give employee proper tool for their jobs.now here we set up software distribution server which automatically install application on client machine.
    Now every single time if a software we are using issued a service pack or patch
    we also had it install it through(DVD-ROM OR CD).or through Distributed server
    to distribute it, Now here don't forget the cost all license of service pack or patch.
    that will led organisation in huge pile of money.

   There is alternative for this.Instead of installing a suite of software for each computer
   we will load only one application, that would allow employee to log the application to
   web service like (Firefox or opera) and complete there jobs.now this application will
   perform all complex job role as we require, depending how we craft the service.

The beauty of cloud is that other company host your application,this means
   they will handle the costs of server, they will manage the software update depending
   on how we craft our contract...now Don't forget the cost of hardware we won't need
   to buy. nor pay for electricity for colling down the Data Centre this will save our capital
   expenditures.

EXAMPLE:

a)If You walk into a Cyber cafe or library and sit down at any computer without the preference of operating system and access browser as our service that service is said to be as Cloud-Based Service.

b)If You have a E-mail account with Web-Based E-mail service like(YAHOO or GMAIL) then You are using cloud.Instead of running a E-mail program on our PC,we simply log into Web E -mail account remotely the software and storage of Your account doesn't exist on Your computer it's on cloud.

In our previous article "Cloud Computing Defined in 7 Ways"we gave you basic idea on cloud computing now we'll little deeper into the concept.

So Lets begin , In simple topological sense cloud computing components is made of several element such as

a) Clients

b) Datacenter

c) Distributed server

Now each element play a specific role in delivering the cloud function.

a) CLIENTS

   Clients are the device that the end user interact to manage their information on cloud.
   they generally divide into 3 categories

>MOBILE > THIN > THICK

- MOBILE CLIENTS

Mobile device include (PDA, SMARTPHONE, or IPHONE)

now these device are portable and work on wireless access of network, through Internet.

- THIN CLIENTS

Now thin computers are that do not have internal hard drives, but rather the server
do all there work and then display the information.

- THICK CLIENTS

   Now these are regular computer that do contain internal hard disk,and use web browser
   (Firefox, opera,internet explorer)to connect to the cloud.

   NOTE: (Now thin computer are becoming relatively popular solution for the cloud
                 because of its price or effect on environment)

Some benefits of using Thin Clients are

   -> Lower Hardware cost

   -> Lower IT cost

   -> Security

   -> Less power consumption

   -> Less noise

   -> Ease of replacement of hardware

b) DATACENTRE

Now datacentre is collection of server where application to which you subscribe is housed, it could be a large room in basement, or room full of server which you access through internet.

Now the growing trend in IT sector is using visualization ie (using virtual server) in this software can be installed allowing multiple instances of virtual server to be used in this way we can have half dozen of virtual server running on one physical server.

NOTE: (The number of virtual server that can exist on a physical server depend on
the SIZE & SPEED of the physical server which runs the application of the virtual server).

c) DISTRIBUTED CLIENTS

Now the server don't have to be housed in same location often server are in dispersed geographically location but to you the cloud subscriber,these server acts if they are humming right away next to each other. This gives the service provider more flexibility in option and security.

FOR EXAMPLE:

Amazon has there cloud solution in servers all the world,if something goes wrong for instance causing a failure on one site, the service will not be stopped it would be accessed through another site also if the cloud needs more hardware they did not need throw more server in the safe room they can add them at another site and simply make it as part of the cloud.

Cloud computing is everywhere. Pick up any tech magazine or visit almost any IT
website or blogs and you’ll be sure to see talk about cloud computing. The only

Step 3: Reboot into ClockWorkMod or CWM recovery mode.


Step 4:   Go to Mount & Storage Now Do the Following .
                   - Format System
                   - Format Data and Cache
                   - Mount System and Data

Step 5: Go back to CWM home and choose install Zip From Sdcard >> Select Zen-mod.zip >> Follow the Aroma Instruction .

Step 6: Now After Installation , Select Yes Disable Recovery and then Select Yes Fix Root.


Voila ! ! ! You have just armed your Micromax A52 with Latest Crystal Zen Mod ROM. Enjoy.

[LEAK]Sony Could Soon Launch a Google Glass Like Product

Watch out technocrats, Sony has filed a patent for a head mounted glass product. Now is this good news or what. We already are eagerly awaiting the Google Glass to hit the market, which is believed to happen within the year end, and now the competition too joins the game with a similar product.

Sony’s various ventures on wearable technology

Sony has not jumped into this technology domain suddenly. They have been silently working on wearable technology for many years now. Their earlier products like the Smartwatch and home entertainment devices such as HMZ-T2 are testimony to this fact. In fact the Japanese electronics giant had filed their first patent on eyeglass computing models as early as 2008, followed by a similar patent filing in 2009. This latest filing by them is a continuation of their early patents and by the look of things their RND team had been working on it for quite some time now and the product might be in final stages.

What do we know of the technology?

Well there is not much data on exactly what the final product is but from the information in hand we could take an educated guess that it is similar to the Google Glass. It is a prototype of an eye glass with both the lenses acting as monitors to display data. It has ear buds embedded on its arms obviously for audio output and has some adjustable display features which would transfer information on to the lenses. This augmented head mount computing system could soon be the next big thing in the gadget market. It has already drawn comparison with the much hyped Google Glass product.

Google Glass – An insight

Google Glass is another one of those grand innovations from the Google house which never ceases to awe us. Those folks in Mountain View have come up with a product which transfers data into an eye-glass like computing system for the wearer to view. Just imagine what it could mean for entertainment, particularly in terms of gaming experience. It would swap the traditional systems into your head mount gadget and the entire screen, which in this case is the lens, would be devoted to the game. They also come with a networking chip which means you could connect with other networks too.

In terms of practical applications to this product, the sky is the limit. Imagine you are walking on a foreign soil desperately seeking directions. If you have a Google translator incorporated in your device, all you have to do is view the signboard through this glass and voila you are not lost anymore. Like this one could imagine thousands of applications such modern technology could be used for.

On the downside the Google Glass is priced at $1500 and we do not expect the Sony model to be any cheaper. Several places, including a bar in Seattle, have already banned Google Glass and of course we would not be allowed to use them in traffic. But as the technology gets older it might be priced a little less and the rough corners might be fine tuned. So all we can do now is to hope Sony, with its 50+ years of experience in electronic products, will bring out a product which will take this technology to another level.

[How-To] Get rid off Petty Annoyances in Windows 8

It became way too tedious, when we switched from the traditional Windows interface to the new Windows 8 operating system. At times these hidden features are good, as they make the use of interface easier and other times, it lets you get rid of the small annoyances.
Certain annoyances are difficult to get rid of, but many of them can be easily fixed. Read on, to find few of the problems and their easy fixes.

Getting Rid of Lock Screen :

A “Lock Screen” in a tablet makes sense to me, but it is pretty annoying in a PC. To get rid of the Lock Screen, you need to tweak the Windows control feature:

- Open the ‘Run’ box by—pressing ‘Windows’ key+R or right clicking on the screen and selecting ‘Run’ from the menu. Once it is open, type ‘gpedit.msc’ followed by hitting ‘Enter’.

- This will open up Local Group Policy Editor, from there you need to navigate to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Control Panel >Personalization.

- Click on the option of ‘Do Not Display the Lock Screen’, select the ‘Enable’ button in the window and click on ‘Ok’. You will not be irritated with Lock Screen anymore.

Confirm before deleting a file:

If you’re making an attempt to delete a file, it will not ask for your confirmation in Windows 8, but it will send your file directly to the Recycle Bin. This may lead the user to lose a file, if his intent was not to delete the specific file. The missing of old style confirmation prompt could be upsetting for most of the users, as it was for me!

Do not be disappointed, as you can get it back by right clicking on the Recycle Bin and selecting ‘Properties’ from the quick menu. Check on the ‘Display delete confirmation dialog’ box and click on ‘Ok’. Turn away the annoyance!

DVD playback support:

Windows 8 includes Windows Media Player, but this program doesn’t have a DVD playback support. This issue can be averted by installing Windows 8 Pro or a Media Center Pack, worth of $10. we would suggest you to go for VLC media player, which is not only free but also, has almost all the features that offer—DVD playback support, ripping support, Blu-ray support and more. In a nutshell, we would say that VLC is a more flexible media player.
