If you are ever looking for a Office alternative, look no further, a great Office Suite that I have been using for a while provides your spreadsheet, presentation, and document needs. The program I am talking about is ThinkFree. Now, you may ask, why would I even consider using an online Office Suite when I have a fully functional Office Suite installed on my computer?

If you ever need to find a document that is on your computer and you are somewhere else, simply log in, and there it is!
You will never lose any files, if you don’t back up regularly then using this program is highly recommended.
You can easily use this program to collaborate on a project with a team if you ever need to.
You get 1gb of online storage, so why not take up on this offer?

If I haven’t convinced you to use ThinkFree then I recommend you see the website for yourself, out of all the online Office Suites I have used this one is by far the best. It has the most MS Office adaptable applications, and t is very easy to use.

- The fastest out of the three, but doesn’t have good MS Office integration, and the code is rather basic.

Zoho

- Many applications to use, but can be rather slow, and not very compatible with MS Office.

Call of Duty 4

I am not a big Call of Duty fan, but this game was great nevertheless. The weapons are amazing, and the graphics make you feel like you are really a US Marine Corp or British Special Ops. What kind of soldier will you be? Will you go in with your m4, or pick up one of the enemies AK and shoot them all with their own gun. Call of Duty games have always been great, but Modern Warfare has to be the best one released yet, it has the best graphics, best weapons, new tactics, great story line, and it really makes you feel like you are part of the team. You go in little groups lead by your captain or lieutenant and pretty soon you practically feel like you know your team. The sounds of gun fire and artillery shells all around you really puts you in the illusion of real combat. Your goal in the game is to eliminate a group of international separatists. CoD features a perfect blend of stealth “missions” and all out combat battles giving the game an exciting war feeling. It definitely has one of the best graphics out of any games I have ever played, combine that with great gameplay and you definietley have one of the best shooting games made for 360, I highly recommend it.

BioShock

BioShock is one of the most intense games I have ever played, not only does it have a great story line, but it is one of those pretty scary-addicting type games where these mutant looking things pop out of nowhere in dark flickering rooms and start to shoot you or try and kill you with whatever they can find. It’s hard to explain what makes this game so great, but when you play it, you know why. My first time playing this, and still now, BioShock reminds me of I Am Legend because you are one of the only few humans left in this under-water city named Rapture, and mutants are everywhere trying to kill you. You get special “powers” or gene modifications as you progress through the game including telekinesis, giving you the ability to use any of your surroundings to try and kill your enemies. There are random vending machines throughout Rapture that you can hack to get cheaper prices and more goods in which is beneficial if you have multiple weapons. If you are looking for a thrilling first person shooter that has many twists and turns, look no further because BioShock has it all.

I Am Legend

SimCity: Societies

Assassin’s Creed

If one phrase was to sum up this game, “great, but could be better” would just about do it. This game features terrific gameplay, graphics, story line, making it one of the best games I have ever played. The thing about this game, and Ubisoft’s Prince of Persia which resembles Assassin’s Creed, is the freedom of movement you can have in the game. You can practically do anything while fighting, running, or jumping. Though it has a pretty confusing and disappointing end, everything else in the game makes up for it. (more…)

Songza

I have been skipping around different music sites, starting at last.fm, to Pandora, and now to my current favorite Songza. So far every song I have searched for is available and not only that, there are multiple copies of the same song. If you want to listen to your favorite songs at work, school, or any other computer just visit the Songza website and listen to whatever you want.

If you haven’t heard me mention Audicity before, basically it is a simple yet useful audio editor. I just finished a review of GoldWave a professional audio editor, and compared to this, it has many more features, but it doesn’t beat the simplicity of Audicity. (more…)
