It’s Always In A Woman… But Never In A Man!

Patience, that is… so it’s said.

Well, I’ll second that motion of belief, that women are more ‘Patient’ than men. I’ve heard it said that the women who trade tend to be better than the men because of their ‘Patience’.

Hmmm…

Now don’t go getting a sex change but you (men) can change the way you think and trade.

Anyway, it’s takes ‘Patience’ and all of the other ‘Super-Trader Traits’ to trade the markets but not only trade… but to make money in the markets.

And there’s ‘Independence’… and on the subject of ‘Independence’ I am going to give you the opportunity to be just that, ‘Independent’.

So, in saying or writing that, I shall no longer be writing on this Blog…

Yes, this Blog is now coming to an end whilst I go on a sabbatical which will give
me more time to focus on my way forward with my own trading.

And I close this Blog I want you to read this story from the book ‘Zen
Flesh Zen Bones’, it’s called:

A Mother’s Advice

Jiun, a Shingon master, was a well-known Sanskrit scholar of the Tokugawa era. When he was young he used to deliver lectures to his brother students.

His mother heard about this and wrote him a letter:

‘Son, I do not think you become a devotee of the Buddha because you desire to turn into a walking dictionary for others. There is no end to information and commentation, glory and honour. I wish you would stop this lecture business. Shut yourself up in a little temple in a remote part of the mountain. Devote your time to meditation and in this way attain true realization.’

After reading this I felt it referred to me so where it says ‘Buddha’, change it to the word ‘Markets’ (if you so wish).

And the last sentence from the word; ‘Devote’ to ‘True Realization’ is what I shall be doing, in relation to my own thoughts and trades, alone and in ‘Independence’.

Have It If You Can…

Have what? You may well be asking.

Well, last week’s write up was entitled: ‘Patience Is A Virtue…’ and the part to do with ‘Have it With You Can…’ is the continuation of the saying and could refer to just ‘Patience’, or to anything else you wish to acquire or develop.

Y’see what I’ve learned (and I’m still learning) is you and I must know, without a shadow of doubt what it is that we wish to have.

You know what?

I still have my days of confusion as in not knowing what I want… but what I do, on a daily basis is to remind myself of what it is I want or wish to have, so as I don’t lose track or go off track.

With regards to trading, it’s fairly easy to forget why you’re doing it and it’s fairly easy to forget what your ‘Methodology’ is to trading…

…and just this morning, I rewrote my TTT rules (or ‘Methodology’) in such a clear and succinct manner, it felt like I had found the Holy Grail!

I’ve wrote it out in a ‘Quick Guide’ format firstly for myself and then for the TTT subscribers, as any ideas I come up with, I always share them.

If you wish to know what it is, you can always sign up, pay £27 and disappear again but what you will have received is a technique that really works and will give you the skills in earning far much more than £27.

And as for work, don’t think you don’t have to work hard at your craft (of trading) every single day to be successful…

…because you do…!

Patience Is A Virtue…

Well, what a wait it was this morning!

From the time I start looking at the markets which is 06:00 onwards there was quite a drop at 06:42 but I don’t start trading until 07:00. And since I couldn’t see a viable entry into the market of my choice, I just sat there waiting and watching.

And I could see the markets continuing to fall and I don’t know about you but when the markets are rising or falling, once I jump in, in a sort of ‘Willy Nilly’ fashion, it tends to stop and go in the opposite direction.

Why is that?

So what I wait for, are certain setups…

Do You Ever Spend Time Wondering Which Direction To Trade In?

Here I am looking at the charts wondering what to do.

And it dawned on me that I don’t have to look and figure out what to do when it comes to trading the financial markets, as all I need to do is follow the direction of the markets.

So after opening my three favourite markets, I could see them all doing the same old thing, or moving in the same direction and that was the answer to my question as in; “What should I do?”

What If There’s No Time To Trade?

What would you do?

Choose to trade?

Choose to get one in?

Choose to squeeze in one itty bitty trade because that’s the way you do it?

There’s quite a bit to learn about trading and what I’ve learned from it is there’s quite a bit to learn about me, being myself…

So the same must be true of you… being there’s quite a bit to learn about you, with regards to yourself.

Today wasn’t such a convenient time for me to trade as my structure (as of late) is in some disarray, so what did I do?

I chose to look at the markets but I chose to speculate with mental and Demo trades… but then again, that’s what I always do anyway.

Today I got up at my usual time just to see what was happening and today I opened up my charts but I wasn’t able to look at all of the charts I usually look at, so I chose to look at the…

It Looks Like Humpty’s Back!

I must admit (which is what I tend to do over and over again), I still like to look for ‘Buying’ opportunities when trading.

Somehow and for some reason I don’t like trading ‘Short’ or ‘Selling’ even though I do from time to time.

But as I wrote in today’s title, ‘It Looks Like Humpty’s Back’ what with him falling off the wall and smashing or breaking into pieces and that’s exactly what the markets are doing, again.

Anyway, there’s fear and panic out there for sure but do remember, when you Spread Trade or Spread Bet, you can make as much money from ‘Selling’ your choice of market as well as ‘Buying’ your choice of market.

And many do say (and believe) it’s easier to ‘Sell’ or go ‘Short’ as when the markets fall, they tend to fall fast.

So what has this got to do with anything you don’t already know since it has already happened?

Well, when using the TTT trading system it doesn’t matter whether the market goes up or down…

…as you’ll still be able to profit from it if you stick to the rules, especially the rules you set up, find that work well for you and refuse to deviate from… unless you find a way to improve it.

And talking of improvement, nothing much has changed in what I do because I really don’t change the way I do things as today at…

Anyway, what I’m talking about is what happened on the markets yesterday at around about 16:00…

…it all started rising again!

If you had been micro managing the moves since yesterday, it may have felt a bit uncomfortable watching it move up and down but if you had perhaps set a trade and left it, you’d be looking at quite a hefty profit to the upside.

And since the move was already on its way (up), from 16:00 on the 26^th of September, what was to say the traders of the world wouldn’t want it to continue moving up this morning?

When The Stars Are Aligned…

…everything falls into place!

Do you ever think of having everything lined up in one place, one space, in one spot and at an exact time, which tells you all is well and all is perfect?

I’m sure you do, at times!

Well, when it comes to trading the financial markets, I’d say it’s pretty much like waiting until everything is in place….

But you know what?

Even though ‘The Stars Are Aligned’, it’s sometimes murder waiting for it all to take place, isn’t it?

Just like an ‘Eclipse’ (of the Sun or Moon) comes about every so often, so does the perfect trading opportunity but all you have to do is wait for it but in order to wait for it, you have to look for it too and once you see it, you act on it.

…Which Way To Turn?

Have you ever asked yourself that question? As in which way ‘should you’ turn? What should you do? Or where should you go?

So it’s believed, if you’re not asking yourself questions as in; How? Why? Where? Who? When? and What? It means you’re not moving forward, it means you’re not stretching yourself.

I know, being stretched (mentally) may not be something you like the sound of but when you get stretched you end up going further.

That sounds obvious, doesn’t it?

And in relation to trading, since the markets are stretching ‘All Over The Place,’ you may well be asking yourself many questions as in how should you trade it.

Well, if you are asking yourself questions, you must be moving forward, as without thought and asking, nothing gets done and nothing moves forward.

Hmmm…

That’s all a bit deep, isn’t it?

Let’s return to the shallows(?) by getting back to the conversation of the markets.

Since they are still moving up… and down, that means there are still opportunities to be had.

“It’s All Over The Place!!!”

That’s what a manager of a printing firm (being the first job I ever had) used to say – to me – after I had run about 300 copies (and more), using a ‘Silk Screen’ printing machine.

In fact, I was given the oldest machine on the shop floor to work with whilst everybody else had (or seemed to have) brand new machines and I’ll tell you what, I just could not get used to that old machine, as it was always breaking down…

…besides, it wasn’t even the job I wanted to do in the first place (you know how it is) but I did the very best I could do whilst I was there.

So, what’s ‘Silk Screen’ printing machines got to do with the markets?

Well, the Price of the markets that I was observing were ‘All Over The Place!’

At the ‘Silk Screen’ printing company, what with the copies ‘being all over the place’ that was not a good sign as each layer of print should always overlap without any spaces or gaps – but what with the markets ‘being all over the place’…

…that (as far as many are concerned) is a good sign.

Why?

Because as long as the markets are moving, there are profits to be made and so long as you can read the markets, you can profit from it, especially if you have a ‘Methodology’ for getting in and out of your trades.
