We’ve spent a fair bit of time putting the STM Myth 18L Backpack through its paces, and overall we feel it’s a strong, stylish choice for those who want a compact tech commuter pack with a few clever touches. It’s not perfect, but the pluses arguably outweigh the compromises.

From first impressions, the STM Myth feels premium. The materials are solid — 100 % polyester with a DWR/polyurethane treatment — and the reverse-coil zippers suggest a strong focus on durability and weather resistance. The bag measures about 45 × 29 × 15 cm (17.7 × 11.4 × 5.9 in) and weighs around 1 kg (2.2 lb) empty. When we first heard about the MÄNNKITCHEN Pepper Cannon, the pitch sounded almost ridiculous: a pepper mill that claims to be the most powerful, most efficient grinder you can buy. It’s built from aerospace-grade aluminium, has stainless steel burrs, and supposedly churns out pepper like no other mill on the market. At around two hundred quid, it’s also one of the most expensive kitchen gadgets we’ve ever considered. Still, after giving it a fair go, we’ve come away with some strong impressions—good and not so good.

The first thing we noticed is the sheer heft of the thing. The Pepper Cannon feels like a serious piece of kit, more like a premium tool than a simple mill. It’s solid, weighty in the hand, and finished in a sleek matte black that looks great sitting on the counter.
