Her name is Coda and she is a cairn terrier mix. She looks like benji but she is smaller, about 12 lbs and is a yr old.
She is awfully sweet for a shelter dog and absolutely adorable.  She has slid right into our family perfectly and as my mom said when she met her, "she looks like she had always been apart of your family". She doesn't seem to have any aggression toward children

I have wrapped myself into a festive paper coma. One can probably tell how long into the wrapping season their gift was handled by analyzing and calculating the following: quality of festive paper, number of folds (if I hadn't resorted to simply rolling the ends yet), amount of tape used, and severity of the paper size miscalculation.

We had a big breakfast and then headed over to a local church to buy some pumpkins and harvest goodies. We let judah pick 2 and then Matthew and I each got 1 so we could carve them. Judah picked 2 of the little itty bitty pumpkins so instead of trying to carve his, we decorated them with jack o' lantern stickers.

I love the leaves changing and the cool mornings. I love that it gets dark early and stays dark longer. I love fall decorating. 
One thing I don't love about the fall is the dry air. We have a fancy humidifier that keeps the house livable for me but I still have to brave the dry air and sore throat/nose when I'm outside. I dread it.

Judah doesn't think so!
We are back from toys r us with a fantastic dragon costume. He wanted to show daddy so we put it on. 30 mins later we are still wearing it. He keeps saying,"I'm a dragon fly". I think he is trying to say "flying dragon" but his way is much cuter!

It feels like yesterday I was holding him for the first time. 
To celebrate, Matthew and I took him to Chattanooga to the Creative Discovery Museum. What a place! There's a whole area of water play with buckets, levers, boats, and all kinds off other stuff. There's an art area where the kids can experiment with ink, paint, play-doh, crayons, markers, and much

And let me just say, it was a blast! 
All of us moms just followed our kids around, camera and basket in hand, while they picked both good and bad apples, climbed trees, and chased each other through the trees. The day was perfect for it too, kinda cool and overcast.

We started with great enthusiasm that quickly dwindled and ended in tears on both mine and Judah's parts. I found myself losing patience. It was a lovely evening so Judah and I decided to join him outside. I brought my kindle and a glass of wine hoping to enjoy the breeze while Judah played with all of his outside toys. We were a bit worried about how Judah would handle it as he was scared to death last yr.We got there in time to run around, sit and chat with friends, and let Judah play with all his friends. It was great fun. The fireworks started way past judah's normal bedtime so he was already snuggly and sweet with is daddy. When

We are so close to Matthew's work, church, and we are in a great school district. We are also 1.5 miles from our pharmacy, grocery, gas station, ice cream shop, pizza place, and a great park is just a bit farther down the road.Now back to the house! It's a tri-level on over a half an acre corner lot with 4 beds
