If you're a fan of The Matrix you may catch on to this anology pretty quickly, but if you only watched it for the action scenes and didn't pay much attention to the storyline I'll give you quick run down of what it's about.

The Backstory
The Matrix is the name given to a dreamworld created for human beings to make them believe they're living life as normal, when infact, they are held captive in a dream state where the machines can use humans as a battery source for their survival. So humans believe they are free when infact, they are just being used for the progression of machine kind.

There are humans who have realised this and found a way to break out of the matrix and some use their life to free others who can then help them carry on the fight. In the film, a character named Morpheus leads the fight against machines but has realised he won't be the one to free everyone, but rather there is someone else who is destined to free all humans and win the war against the machines.

The Analogy
Similar comparisons can be drawn between this and the world black people have been living under , in South Africa's case since 1994.

After the ANC won the election in 1994, we all thought it was the start of a new day and the world was starting to accept us, black people, as fellow human beings in good conscious, only to find out it's all an illusion.

For the past 26 plus years black South Africans have been, unconsciously or consciously, learning English and white culture in trying to bridge the gap and find more common ground between us. We've also been educating ourselves and up-skilling to prove we can be more than teachers and helpers. But it seems tall that effort has done little to unite us and the closer we've come to what we think is unity, the further the goal posts have been moved.

The more we challenge the system, the more we realise it was meant to be a trap for black people to remain at the bottom of the system and work at that lower level to keep the system going.

The further we've moved up the value chain the more criticism and resistance we experience, to a point where we are starting to wake up from this dream world. We are starting to see the world for what it really is and it's not a pretty picture.

We've realised that even the people we thought were meant to protect us, like cops and politicians, are agents of the system like Mr. Smith that will even go as far as killing innocent black people just for standing up for what they believe in.

In this analogy, Julius Malema is Morpheus, trying to show people we are living in a dream world but he still believes he's the answer. He hasn't yet realised that he's role rather could be to find "The One" that will free black people and help them see they are the answer to their own liberation.

What is the "Price of Fame"?

Rapper Superstar Mason, aka Mason Mandela, is dropping an EP eary November said to highlight the "price of fame". In our interview with him he states that the price of fame is the cost that an artist pays in making his dreams come true. The literal and intangible. All the sacrifices he has made to get to where he is; where he's in a position to drop his first EP independently.

Disguised by trap beats and generally positive outlook; Mason talks about friends he's lost, his long journey of being an artist aswell as the good times he has despite the struggle he's endured. Nevertheless you can feel the positivity and feel the passion in Mason's raps. He has the voice projection many artists lack in their delivery. If this reaches the right ears, we've got another star in the making

A look into Cassper's Kanye Comparison on Sway

Couldn't explain this in a tweet so I'll blog about it.

The Twitter streets went crazy after listening to an hour, give or take, long interview of Cassper Nyovest on Sway in the morning. The first South African to do so. Of all the things he spoke about to in the interview and the dope rhymes he dropped; black Twitter seems to want to tell Sway, one tweeter even requested Sways number so she could call him, and say Cassper's lying about being called SA's Kanye.

I myself have never heard anyone compare Cassper to Kanye but I cannot say he's lying. Unless I spend a day or two with him and see how he's treated and what he's called in the streets I can't say he's lying. But being one of the biggest hip hop stars in the country is it that far fetched that he would be called Kanye? Him being a big star in his country and pushing the boundaries and being on Sway's show, same show Kanye went on, makes him comparable. If

I myself compare AKA more to Kanye not really because of the music but because of his rants and him being vocal about what he stands for. I've never said it though to anyone or on Twitter, these are just spontaneous thoughts that will come to me in the moment. If I had a conversation with AKA would I bring it up??? You never know.

I compare Cassper more to Drake, not because of the music aswell but more because of their rap career and how they came up in the game. They both left high school before the finished, they both had a career before the music, Drake acting and Cassper as a dancer, and their both kinda hated in the game by their peers becasue of their success. I've also never said this to anyone but in a convo with them I might say it. You never know.

It's not that people don't believe he gets called Kanye it's more that they don't see the comparison. But other people may connect the dots that do match them up and compare them. Until I explain why i would call Cassper the Drake of SA you would think I'm insane but given the comparisons above it's not so far fetched is it????

So my point is unless you're in his circle and know what they say to him on a daily basis you don't know.

Looks like the award that has eluded South African musicians like Mafikizolo, Teargas, AKA, and Donald will get away from us once again. We all had high hopes for our SA nominees for 2016 AKA, Black Coffe & Cassper, even against Diamond Platz and Wizkid who have massive support around the world. Alot of us put in the votes hoping we could take it home but sadly even if we combine all the votes of our SA nominees together we couldn't beat Diamond Platz who has 60% of the votes.

Voting percentages are as follows:
Diamond Platnumz leads with 60% of the votes,
then Cassper Nyovest with 17%,
Wizkid has 9%,
Aka has 6%,

AKA has mentioned how much cheaper data is in Tanzania, Diamond Platnumz hometown. That could be the reason he has such a huge margin on his competition, or that he has much more loyal support. Either way, his star keeps rising. We can hope for Emtee to win us our very first BET award now as he's nominated for the Viewer's Choice award. Let's get voting!!!

Update: Emtee will win the BET the way things are going, he currently has 51% of the vote and his only real competitior Falz has got 38% of the votes. The award ceremony happens tomorrow night in Los Angeles and history will be made for South Africa it seems.

Okmalumkoolkat sends letter from Australian prison

We've all been shocked by news that OKMalumKoolkat, real name Simiso Zwane, was arrested for sexual assault of a fellow female music artist he had shared a stage with on his music tour in Tasmania.

We had heard that he pleaded guilty to the charges but not officially anything from him personally. Here he shares why he decided to plead guilty and what exactly happened a month ago down under.

Hi Tribe,

I am writing this letter to my fans as Simiso Zwane, not as Okmalumkoolkat. I say this because it was Simiso Zwane who was out there in that Tasmanian prison.

Now I know there has been speculation and misconception about my case. I was charged with assault with intent of indecency and assault with intent. I fully understand the magnitude of this issue. I have had time by myself to reflect on things most important to me and I am working through everything. I have served my time in jail in another continent and have endured hardships of the sentence that was handed to me. I would like to move on with my life.

I am sincerely sorry to everybody that has been affected by this. I pleaded guilty for a number of reasons, one of which was that I was in a foreign country and was advised by my legal aid to do so. I hope the public and my fans will accept that I will one day, in my own way, explain the events as they happened from my perspective.

This hasn’t just affected Okmalumkoolkat, but it has affected Simiso Zwane, my whole family, my friends and my team who have realised the fact that I am also human. I would like to thank everybody that stood by me and who has been really supportive. I sincerely appreciate that.

Lastly, I would like to ask the media and all those who have opinions on this issue to respect my privacy and the privacy of my family and friends. I ask everybody to understand that I need time to process, heal and move on with my life and career in the best possible way.

Refiloe Album Review

When Cassper dropped his first album, Tsholofelo, we didn't know what to expect. Well correction we expected it to be mediocre at best. Mainly because we hadn't heard much from him and were convinced he was a one hit wonder. But it was much more than we expected, it was good. There were a few wack tracks here and there and some songs that seemed to have been thrown in as fillers but all in all we realised there was more to Cassper than we had initially thought.

Coming on to the 2nd album we had heard alot more from Cassper and had certain expectations from him.

Firstly Refiloe is different from Cassper's debut album, I kinda wanted him to continue where he had left of but what he did was just show us his variety. This album is alot more focused and the sounds of the different songs do a better job of keeping the album insync. He's more relaxed and more confident about not giving us turn up songs and keeping the experience more about his life and what he went through since he had "made it". There's alot and I mean alot of references to AKA, not directly, and the other rappers in the game; kind of a statement that I'm the new king and yall will have to deal.

Been banging the album 3 days straight now and I don't skip much songs. Even "428 to La" and "Mama I made it" are still good listens though they've been out for a while. My favourite songs have to be "Mmangwane" , the new version of "Strive" which is way better than an earlier version he had released, "War Ready", "Bheki'ndaba Zakho"s a nice tune to sing along to, "Upper" where Cassper's freedom to experiment is apparent he has fun with the track, Tse Tswembu Tse Blind ft DJ Drama and Cooking in the Kitchen featuring the Game which was everyone's favourite leaving the Dome after Cassper also did the dance on stage.

It's a good piece of work solidifying that Cassper is not a one hit, one album and hopefully not a one #fillupthedome wonder. What a time it is in our hip hop industry, how far will we go from here we'll have to see.

The songs Cassper did not perform at #FillUptheDome

I would love to review #FillUptheDome but as you've already heard it was epic. From the moment we got there to the moment we left, it was just a great experience. What I would like to focus on are the songs that Cassper did not perform that would have made MY night in particular that much more legendary.

The funny thing is even the songs that I'm not necessarily a fan of were enjoyable and well performed on the night. You could tell it wasn't about just the turn up but rather a well balanced performance with peaks and troughs for balance. Songs that would've made it more awesome for me though are:

1. Style se legit - The 2nd song from his platinum selling debut album Tsholofelo which is an infusion of Kwaito and hip-hop and just a nice dance and sing along song.

2. Skeptedaba - This is also a nice sing along song he could've performed that would've stolen the show. Infact I was hoping this would've been a single for some time but I guess he had a different vision.

3. Lerato - A fusion of hip hop and nigerian dance hall from his 1st album aswell.

4. Single for the night - A smash hit from the platinum edition of the first album. Wizkid kills the chorus and Cassper the verse. But I guess flying Wizkid over for one song might've been a bit of a problem.

These 4 songs are one of my favourite Cassper songs, I guess as long as I got the albums I'll be good.

Cassper drops a reply to Composure on the same station AKA regnited the beef

Cassper dropped a "freestyle" on Factory78, the same platform where AKA had reignited his beef with Cassper in his freestyle. Cassper goes in hard talking about motivational things like where and what he came up from then going in hard on AKA. Look and listen below.

DJ Zinhle confirms AKA and Bonang Cheating Rumours

This is allegedly the response from Bonang's public relations team. So quick to deny and consult their legal teams. Silence is sometimes the best response cause nextweek we might see a pic of them kissing then their PR will be spinning a "Bonang in Love" angle. Come on guys

Then AKA's alleged response to his baby mama's allegations:

Just as little bits of evidence were beginning to pop up about a possible Bonang and AKA affair, DJ Zinhle drops the bomb and confirms the rumours. According to Zinhle's super long blog post, she found out about it a week before giving birth and Kiernan confirmed it had been going on for 5 months.

This after AKA dropped a song called "Composure" yesterday where he suggests him and Zinhle broke up because he was too busy recording his album to be with her. "Busy putting in hours, final touches on the album. When I should have bought you flowers and a bracelet."
But AKA was putting hours into Bonang seemingly.

AKA had denied the claims which seems like his m.o these days, problem is the truth always comes back to haunt him. DJ Zinhle seems ok with Kiernan despite him breaking her heart but her future interactions with Bonang might not be as civil.

An AKA and Bonang relationship makes sense though. The biggest players in the game together? It's a Drake and Riri sitch in SA. Looking forward to see how this plays out.

K.O and Sarah Langa's Ended Relationship in pictures

Is Bonang the cause of AKA and Zinhle's break up???

It didn't make sense that AKA and Zinhle would just break up just like that. We all know how touchy feely Bonang is with guys in the industry, Khune can testify to this.

Matheba and AKA were seen together at the BET Awards where Queen B is said to have followed him around, reports Move magazine.

The two were also seen cosying up at the Hilton Hotel as they were both there for the Durban July, they apparently shared an intimate moment over drinks and later left the bar together according to the magazine's source.

Another source told the weekly magazine: "When the two are together they do not even try to hide the fact there is chemistry between them. There is something in the way they look at each other and their interaction speaks volumes."

Zinhle, AKA and Matheba both failed to respond to the allegations but Matheba did take to Twitter to rubbish the claims. However, the statement released by AKA and Zinhle on their split seemingly gives basis to Move's claims.

While the statement did not go into detail about the break-up, it came as a shock announcement after Zinhle gave birth to baby Kairo a month ago. AKA and Zinhle also live together and had previously expressed their love and commitment towards each other.

Matheba on the other hand has failed dismally to keep a solid relationship. Although successful in her career, the star has swept through relationships with Slikour, Euphonik and recently D'Banj who abruptly ended their fling by proclaiming his love for a Nigerian billionaire businesswoman.

Euphonik Calls Bonang a Liar and Tells his side of the Story

The unfortunate thing about celebrity scandals true or false is that 9 times out of 10 they stick with a celebrity's image for years to come. You can ask Mandoza and his English vocabulary, Black Coffee and his side dishes or Euphonik and his woman abuse allegation. Here's Euphonik's side of things, seems like you could make a movie out of Bonang and Themba's relationship.

In light of the recent media storm surrounding my inclusion in the Marie Claire In Her Shoes campaign, I have decided to share my story and reasons behind my decision to participate in answer to the question as to whether I am the right choice for a campaign like this. Many questioned my inclusion due to the alleged abuse of my ex girlfriend in 2012.

Firstly, I’d like to give a big thank you to the entire Marie Claire team for allowing me to participate in what I think is a great initiative. I knew from the get-go that there would be public scrutiny and controversy about my involvement taking into consideration the allegations made against me. I believe that abuse against women or abuse of any sort is a great injustice, travesty and a serious problem in our country. I stand firm against it with my head held high despite all the criticism as I do believe there is no place for it in our society. I am a public figure and whether I choose to be or not I am a role model and that on its own comes with great responsibility. I also believe my past should not define me as I am an individual who has grown and learnt from past transgressions.

As someone who has come from an extremely toxic relationship, that carried on for two years after I was publicly accused and almost jailed for allegedly abusing my then partner, I thought it would send a strong message to women and men that abuse is a real thing with real victims and that anyone can be a victim.

So I have been asked several questions regarding the incident in 2012 and here are my responses.

Was I in a toxic relationship? Yes.

Were we emotionally and verbally abusive towards each other? Yes.

Did I keep quiet about a serious matter and not deal with it accordingly? Yes.

Did we wake up and drive to court together during the court case? Yes, on numerous occasions.

Do I regret ever protecting my personal life, relationship and private affairs? No.

Was I ever convicted of abuse or any crime? No.

Did I ever have a restraining order against me? Yes, a temporary one that was never finalised and confirmed because the victim violated the conditions herself by coming to my house.

Did I physically abuse my then girlfriend. No. Not at all. This she lied about.

On the night of the alleged abuse, we had a heated argument. I had turned to leave when she tried to stop me. I pushed her body away from me and walked out. She was not injured when I left so I can’t comment about where her facial wounds came from as I was not there to witness that.

She had later dropped charges on her own account without any interference or pressure from me, despite the belief by many that I had something to do with that decision. It was hers and her legal teams’ decision to make and not mine. We also did not settle out of court nor did I pay her to drop charges. We did however, reunite shortly after the incident believing we had put it behind us.

It is for these reasons that I feel I have been unfairly labelled an abuser and have faced several media bashings brought on even further by my participation in this particular campaign.

People – men and women – accuse and get accused of abuse often in our country and I hope by being part of this campaign I highlight the seriousness of abuse not only in South Africa but globally. Abuse is a great injustice to anyone it affects, male or female.

I’m fully aware that being part of this campaign will not lift the cloud I’ve been carrying over my head for the last 3 years and I’m aware that I’ll always be known as “that guy”.

I was tried and prosecuted via social media and by tabloid publications, not the courts or the legal system. Sadly everyone with an opinion made their own conclusions. While I understand why everyone made the assumptions they did and believed that I had hurt her, I stand by my story that this is untrue. You may not believe my story, but this is just that, my story, my truth. One I have held on to and left undisclosed to protect a then-relationship with someone I loved. While I understand the sensitivity of the case, I must be honest and say I feel it’s unfair to force me to be remorseful for something I actually didn’t do. If the incident has changed perceptions of me and the person I really am, for that, I apologise.

AKA gets mud on his face... Again

AKA cant seem to stay out of the mud he likes to play dirty in. Ever since he came in the game he's had beef with artists, throwing shade wherever the sun seems to be shining on. He's had beef with L-Tido, Kwesta, Ifani and his current favourite Cassper. At 1st we might've thought it coincidence but now...?

Cassper has been the current target of AKAs recent mud slinging but the mud always seems to boemerang back to him.

The latest of AKAs episodes came from a song Cassper likes previewing at his shows lately called "Turn Up Gang", Cassper is allegedly doing a remix of a song called "Tu es dans pain" by a french rapping crew called Kiff No Beat ....... AKA heard the original track recently, assumed Cassper stole it and threw out accusations on Twitter.

Only to find that Cassper had made a remix with Kiff No Beat..... and hadnt stolen the song. One almost assumes Aka feels threatened and is trying to destroy the competition but this is clearly not the way.

Hopefully this episode stops the AKA Cassper witch hunts as he always ends up at the wrong end of the stick on. Let the new kids on the block be.

50 Cent is not broke: Reasons for him filing bankruptcy

Earlier this morning, The Washington Post reported that 50 Cent filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and, as always, Twitter has had plenty of jokes.

Many people are assuming that he's flat broke—especially in light of a recent lawsuit where a jury ordered him to pay $5 million to a woman who sued over a sex tape that was posted without her permission. And his boxing promotions company,SMS Promotions, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy back in May. But that's probably not exactly the case.

In the court docs, his assets and debts were each listed in the range of $10 million to $50 million—which automatically puts him into Chapter 11 territory based on the monetary amounts. Typically Chapter 11 bankruptcy simply means a reorganization of one's assets and debts—which isn't saying they haven't been poorly managed up until now for 50—but in light of the recent lawsuit against Lastonia Leviston, the mother of Rick Ross' child, this will give him some time to repay that $5 million.

A few hours ago, 50 Cent's attorney, William A. Brewer III, partner at Brewer, Attorneys & Counselors, issued the following statement to Variety: “This filing for personal bankruptcy protection permits Mr. Jackson to continue his involvement with various business interests and continue his work as an entertainer, while he pursues an orderly reorganization of his financial affairs."

We hopped on the phone with Robert Gregg, president of Mainline Partners in Brooklyn, to break down exactly how this Chapter 11 filing works to squash any rumors.

Can you explain Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in a general sentiment?

In a general sentiment, you usually file a Chapter 11 when your assets are worth more than a certain amount. In this case, 50 would not have been eligible for Chapter 7 or 13 because his debt is more than $390,000 in unsecured debt. He would automatically need to do Chapter 11, and here’s where the protection comes in—so you’ve got debt and a lot of times it’s looked upon negatively, but there can be multiple reasons. One could be, "I’ve got more debt right now than I have income coming in, can we work together a plan of protection to restructure?" Now the protection comes in because once it’s filed there’s a mainstay where typically 90 to 120 days or somewhere there abouts, you’re putting together and formulating a plan of how you’re going to pay back your creditors. The majority is personal credit, not business. That could be one reason.

They’re reporting that his assets in debts each are in the range of $10 million to $50 million so that alone put him in Chapter 11.

Oh yeah, definitely.

This is coming after he was ordered by a court to pay $5 million to a woman who sued him over leaking a sex tape a few years ago. Would that be something that would factor in here?

It most certainly factors in, and I would imagine that’s probably a big reason why. Another reason is, from what I understand, to seek protection because, I believe he has a boxing promotion company that may have recently filed for corporate protection. To further protect you individually and especially coming after this particular case you file a Chapter 11. Under that holding, no one can come after you—there can be no liens, no coming after you, no more judgment so to speak, and the idea behind it is to say, "We’re going to go back now and through my attorney we’re going to go to court and do a restructuring."

Through that restructuring you have to share your assets and liabilities, so what’s expected to come in, so to speak. Here’s the thing, the restructuring plan takes almost two years to be approved so if you’re a creditor and you’re sitting out there you’re waiting eight months to a year, 16 months to get paid. And in that plan you might think, "Well, you know what, 50 owes $2 million, I’ll take a half a million now," and that might be the same thing with the judgment. If you have a young lady who’s been awarded $5 million and now her attorneys are billing her, he may want to milk that out a little bit. There may be something else that comes from behind it.

Let me give you a different scenario. A Chapter 11 bankruptcy goes into a debt restructuring plan. The plan takes 18 months to get approved, and the attorneys try to convert this from a Chapter 11 to a Chapter 7. Now you’re talking about up to five years in which everything gets approved. You kind of look to string it out and hope that in that time the companies who you owe step back. Some of the companies may go out of business. I don’t know the extent of Mr. Jackson’s debt. I understand the majority is consumer debt, which consumer debt typically tends to be from lawsuits or he wants to be shielded from lawsuits. It might be loans, lines of credit, bank cards, and things of that nature, which is mostly consumer debt. All of the above could be factors to which he voluntarily [files], and that’s another key: You have to voluntarily file Chapter 11 to be eligible later on to do a conversion.

People tend to think that when anyone in the entertainment world files for bankruptcy that they have no money. That’s not the case.

A lot of times they may have entered into an agreement which at the present moment may not be favorable. If you’ve got a line of credit that has a high interest rate, we’re talking a good amount of money, but if rates have dropped considerably and you’re paying a high amount of interest you may say, "Let me go back to the bank or whoever loaned me the money and see if we can restructure."

They may say, "No, we had a deal in place, you’ve got to honor that." If it behooves you then maybe you may file for bankruptcy because now you don’t have to pay and now almost willingly your creditors will go back and say, "We’ll take something since it doesn’t appear like we may get paid the full amount," or we may go back and say, "Hey, the previous contract we had was x amount of dollars paying 15 percent, let’s lower the percentage to 5 percent."

It works out for you, it works out for them. In this particular case it’s usually not that the person doesn’t have money, it’s preventative. Usually preventative. You almost have to show that you’re not capable of maintaining your debt or your requirements. You have to show that if we keep going on this track at some point I’m either going to run out of money or you know what I don’t have the income right now to support all of my obligations, so I’m looking to restructure and the bankruptcy is an option in which to do so.

I doubt it’s because he’s sitting with five dollars in his bank account.

Drake Plays Black Coffee's Superman on his Beats 1 Radio Show

Drake's inaugural episode of his "OVO SOUND" Beats 1 radio show Saturday lived up to the hype, and then some. Assisted by OVO co-founder Oliver El-Khatib and PRIME producer Eric Dingus, Drizzy delivered a 2-hour show highlighted by the appearance of 3 brand new songs: his Sweeterman" remix , Wizkid's “Ojuelegba (Remix) feat. Drake & Skepta, & Roy Wood's "Drama" feat. Drake.

Drake also played a set of songs which started with Black Coffee and Bucie's hit single Superman. We can only imagine that it raises awareness for Black Coffee and Bucie and will hopefully bring them more international appeal. Black Coffee lives in New York now so he's making major moves already.

Does Drake have his eyes and ears on Africa? Lets wait and see.

Drake remixes a Wizkid song

No one saw this one coming, I bet even Wizkid himself didn’t foresee this one.

Drake and Skepta have hopped on Wizkid’s HIT single Ojuelegba which first streamed on Drake’s OVO Apple Music Radio Show earlier today. From our understanding, Skepta played this track for Drake while he was out in the UK for the Wireless festival and Drake decided to lay his verse on it and you can tell that he was really into the track.

Looks like Wizkid is closer to crossing over than many of you thought.

This is the biggest thing that's happened for African music since Dbanj got signed by Kanyes GOOD MUSIC record label. Its bigger than a BET award if you ask me. Check the track out HERE.

We know that any track drake jumps on is almost a guaranteed hit and for IloveMakonen it mean a record deal with ovo and a platinum selling song. Is this a possibility for Wizkid now? We certainly hope so.

Drake and Taylor Swifttop 2015 Mid-Year BEST SELLING ALBUMS LIST

Halfway through the year and the list of the best selling albums has been released with Taylor Swift and Drake leading the pack.

In February Drake released his mixtape ‘If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late’ and it managed to debut at #1 with 495,000 copies sold. He also managed to break the Spotify stream record and have each song on the mixtape land on the Billboard chart. The only person able to surpass Drake for best selling albums of 2015 is Taylor Swift for her 2014 album ‘1989’.

For the top mid-year best selling albums, Taylor Swift takes the lead with 2,011,00o units (‘1989′) while Drake comes in second with 1,431,000 units (‘If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late’) including streams. Without streams Drake sits at 965,000 units sold while Taylor has moved 1,328,00 units.

Tyga's Defence to Cheating on Kylie claims

Tyga and his lawyers are gunning for the people they say released pics of his exposed penis -- and the wild part is ... there's a Caitlyn Jenner connection to this whole story.

Tyga's lawyer, Lee Hutton, tells TMZ he believes the rapper is the victim of a conspiracy designed to "maliciously shame" him. While the photos are authentic -- you can see some of his tattoos -- Tyga's lawyer believes the person he sent them to betrayed him ... and used them to manufacture a fake story.

The blog that posted the pics is claiming Tyga sent them to a transgender model.

Hutton thinks that's also offensive because ... "The allegations are false and socially irresponsible during a time when many Americans are celebrating equality."

It's a clear reference to Caitlyn and the Supreme Court decision, and Tyga and Hutton's point is -- don't use transgender issues as a punchline.

Cassper's Humble on Twiiter and Beasts on tracks

It aint a secret anymore... AKA and Cassper are back on bad terms after AKA accused Cassper of lying on his "428 to LA" track. Rather than confirm or deny the allegation Cassper chose the humble route on Twitter andwished AKA well.

Mean while back at the studio Cassper's humbleness is put aside and he lets bars address the issues. It can be argued that these lines are not against AKA but their history and our hunger for beef in hip hop has me thinking otherwise.

In a new track by DJ Xclusiv Cassper drops some lines that take shots at AKA from my view. The lines go...:
"I made a mil, made a mil from a song. Then I made a mil made a mil from my tour. And that's about the same time you made a mil for your boss...Stru you shouldn't have gone at it..."

AKA is not fully independent as he has a deal with Sony so Cassper could be referring to them when he says he made a mil for his boss. Listen to the track, the beef aside it's a hot number, Sakordie drops dope bars aswell.

How the AKA and Ifani beef will end

We all know how this will end, we've seen it before not so long ago. AKA accused Cassper of lying about his gold status too remember, this after he mocked him about being the biggest song on free downloads. Cassper now is platinum and the same song that was big on free downloads was downloaded over a million times on MTN caller tunes which is not a free platform. AKA has since swallowed his pride with Cassper and they made up. I suspect as the dust settles the same will happen with Cassper and Ifani.

The SA music industry is too small for artists to avoid each other and sooner than later Kiernan will realise his mistake (like he did with Cassper) and they'll make up and take a photo together. AKA will also need to make up with the alleged sponsor, Redds, as there are too few financial resources especially in the rap category to alienate one that has invested in artists like Kwesta and more.

Let's not expect a feature anytime in the near future though.
