Before I bore you with what I've been up to I want to tell you about tonights show and next weeks show. The show is now back at the usual time of Wednesday evenings 10pm till 11pm UK time and can still be heard on 104.4 mhz around London and on the net at www.resonancefm.com .

TROUBLE WITH STREAMING ARCHIVED SHOWS

There seems to be some trouble with many of the archived shows I have put on our server for you to listen to. They just do not seem to play. We are changing ISP's this weekend and hopefully that will cure things. Once back to normal I will put many new shows back on the system for those interested to catch up on the chaos!

Finally! Able to post a recent show in the same week as it was broadcast live! Well, miracles do happen! I enjoy having guests and I enjoy doing shows alone...I just enjoy doing radio. Must be something wrong with me. Hey, by the way, send me some feedback. Let me know what you think about the shows, what's good, what's bad! I can see when I log on how many people view each entry but it would be nice to get some feedback as well. Send it to mail@thetrashcan.co.uk

Hey! I've been back and forth for a few months to the States and have not paid much attention to this site but I am back now and with the new site up and running I will be able to add some more recent shows to the archives so listen in to the live shows and watch here for more older shows!

Wednesday October 25th Show

This weeks show will be devoted to the 3 fantastic gigs this past weekend to celebrate the 10th anniversary for the Dirty Water Club starting with the Monks on Thursday October 19th, the Fleshtones on the Friday and on the Saturday the reunion of the Parkinsons along with great performances by the Priscillas and Thee Excitors. PJ will be my guest (yet again!) and give some of the highlights and downspots of the 10 year history of the best club for garage/trash anywhere. He will be bringing in material to play from some of the groups presented at the club during the history of this great venue.

...it could not get any better, right?

Just when you thought you had lived to the max, shot your wad, flushed your stash and trashed your cash on living flash there is suddenly another two great festivals on the horizon, both featuring The Cannibals on stage and the inimitable Mike Spenser spinning the disks.

13th of October is the date for the 2nd 'Funtastic Dracula Carnival' at Les Palmeres Beach near Sueca (Valencia).

17th of November is party time in Brussels, 2 days and nights of Bands and DJs at the 'Beat Expo'.

Indeed, Friends of Funtastic! The second edition of the year's maddest party is all set to go. Cross the dates of Friday 13th and Saturday 14th of October in your calendars, with a warm up party for the most dedicate on Thursday 12th, a national holiday.

This year, we change the setting - we'll be at Barraca, a famous disco located at Les Palmeres Beach near Sueca (Valencia), providing more space, more hours and more powerful sound equipment for the live shows and DJ allnighters on Friday and Saturday. From 9PM to 9AM, a gathering of artists specially fit for the party will appear on stage and DJ booths, every one of them remarkable - but one of the highlights will happen on Saturday the 14th, with the first European appearance of the Norton All-Star Revue, commemorating the unmissable record label's 20th anniversary with The A-Bones, their founders Billy Miller & Miriam Linna's band, appearing onstage, with labelmates Andre Williams and The Great Gaylord providing a tasty if strong garnish. Same night before them, we'll enjoy the personal takes on punk by The Spits and on French 60s beat with Cecilia et Ses Ennuis, doing their only comeback show!

I have been off this site due to waiting for a new Broadband connection which has been taking ages to get! Dial Up sucks as I said once before. Once back on I will be hoping to have a regular show same time on Saturdays and maybe more on my own stream using Ogg Vorbis to stream with. Listen out for the plans...In the meantime, todays show should be really good with the great and wonderful Stabilisers as guests. I am planning to concentrate on all the really fantastic Medway bands to come out of that hotbed of great music...seeya later!
