This Sunday, December 1st, our auction to support Autism Speak starts! Here are some of the details that you'll need in order to bid on these sensational items!

We are breaking up the items into three distinct bundles in order to maximize the amount we can raise for Autism Speaks.

The first bundle:

This first bundle includes:

a deluxe copy of Picture Show, which includes the Human League cover of "Don't You Want Me"
the special blue vinyl of "Animal" & "Calling My Name"
a custom made "Everybody Talks" heather grey shirt in size L
a Neon Trees adjustable fabric bracelet featuring the heart with wings
a hardbound photo-book full of high quality Neon Trees concert photos

and of course,

Tyler Glenn's red leather pants that were worn in the Buick Verano commercial from 2012 signed with a message for our winner!

The second bundle:

The second bundle includes:

a copy of Neon Trees' debut album, Habits
the limited pressing of "Everybody Talks"/"Lessons In Love" heart-shaped vinyl
a custom made "Your Surrender" shirt in heather grey, size 2XL
a Neon Trees adjustable fabric bracelet featuring the heart with wings and the phrase "Tree Hugger"
the rare Neon Trees "Moving in the Dark" viewfinder from the Picture Show preorder

and

a Limited Edition Neon Trees customized Blazar from Beacon Audio (not pictured)

Our third bundle we are calling the mini bundle:

an 11x17 promotional poster for the song "1983", double sided
a 13x19 concert poster from Neon Trees' performance at The Fillmore in San Francisco
a periwinkle blue shirt from Neon Trees' appearance on JBTV in Chicago, sized M
a custom made canvas bag, black, emblazoned with Neon Trees and the heart with wings
an official rubber bracelet stamped with Neon Trees and their heart with wings
a Neon Trees adjustable fabric bracelet

and, lastly, a new item!

a used drum stick from Elaine Bradley (used at their show in Bloomington, IL)

Our first two bundles will start out at higher bids because their estimated retail value is over $300 each. The mini bundle is starting out lower for the more economically conscious fan who still wants a piece of cool Neon Trees merch and memorabilia.

The auctions will launch Sunday, December 1st and go until December 8th. Links will be shared several times a day across our social media outlets and here at the archive. As always, any questions you may have, ask away!

Here are some frequently asked questions and facts you'll need to know about the auction, which starts THIS SUNDAY! If your question isn't on this page, ask and we will provide an answer!

How long does the auction last?

The auction will start December 1st and go until December 8th.

Where is the auction at?

The auction will be hosted on eBay. Links will be provided daily on Twitter, Facebook, and here at the Archive.

Who is getting the money?

All profits, 100%, earned from this event are going towards the charity Autism Speaks.

I really just want that one awesome item in the auction, not the rest. Can I pay you just for that?

Nope. Everything is bundled together for a reason. These items are a thank you for the persons who are willing to donate the most money to Autism Speaks.

I want to help donate money but the auction isn't my style. What can I do?

There are many other ways to donate to the charity. You can donate money or time directly through their website, or you can email us about donating through us in the auction's name.

Can you tell me the deal with the auction? What can I expect?

We have decided to split the items into three smaller auctions. Two are big tickets that will start at a higher bidding price and the third will be a more economical package starting at a smaller bid price.
When you place a bid on one or more auctions, you are committing to pay the sum agreed upon when the auction ends. There is no backing out! Make sure you have the money!

Is shipping free?

No, not at this time. But if we can get the total sum raised to a great amount, I will consider paying the shipping myself.

I live outside the US/Canada. Can I bid?

Yes, you can. But there will absolutely be no free shipping outside the US if the great sum is reached. And the shipping may be pricey, so be warned.

Can I tell my friends and family about it? They LOVE Neon Trees!

Absolutely! Tell EVERYONE! We want to raise a lot of money for Autism Speaks!

Do I need a PayPal account?

Yes. Getting an account is easy and free.

In case you haven't already heard, (and if you haven't where have you been?!?), we are having another charity auction this winter to give back to the world. Auctioning off a lot of incredible Neon Trees items, fan-made, official merch, and more, to support Autism Speaks!

We have been introducing items one or two at a time so that you can know just what's being offered. We want to give you a recap in case you've missed the last few weeks of posts and sneak peaks!

Item #1:

A Moving in the Dark boxset View Finder! Has snapshots from the band while shooting for Picture Show!

Three black bracelets that each feature different words, but all carry the iconic heart with wings design.
One reads "Tree Hugger", another "Neon Trees" and the final "Neon Trees Addict." Lettering is fun and colorful
and each bracelet has Velcro fastenings to accommodate just about every fan!

features the iconic heart with wings logo all Neon Trees fans are familiar with! Straps are adjustable

That's right! We have each of the LP singles that have been released! On the left is the 10" blue "Animal" single with a backside of "Calling My Name" (featured on the Start A Fire EP!)! On the right, we have the exclusive Record Store Day edition heart-shaped vinyl of "Everybody Talks" with the backside playing "Lessons in Love"! These are a must have for any LP collector as well as Neon Trees fan! Remember, if you want both of them, bid on the auction coming up!
More items will come over the weekend and next week, along with more details about when the auction is coming up and how you can participate in supporting Autism Speaks in other ways besides winning the auction!

2013 Auction: Charity Announced

Hello Tree Huggers!

We would like to proudly announce that this year, the proceeds from this winter's auction will go to Autism Speaks! Here is a little more info on Autism Speaks:

Autism Speaks was founded in February 2005 by Bob and Suzanne Wright, grandparents of a child with autism. Their longtime friend Bernie Marcus donated $25 million to help financially launch the organization. Since then, Autism Speaks has grown into the world's leading autism science and advocacy organization, dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and a cure for autism; increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders; and advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families.

This year's auction will be amazing! We have some great donations set up for the auction, thanks to some great donating partners, and are looking forward to the support that we will be able to give to Autism Speaks and the great services, research and more that the charity provides.

We will introduce the items in the auction package soon, one at a time. Along with the items, we will also give a list of donors who are making the auction possible.

Announcement: It's Back!

In 2011, we decided to give back to the world and put on two special charity auctions online to raise money for the charity To Write Love On Her Arms. Our auctions included fan-made items such as t-shirts, a NT themed purse, portraits of each band member, and jewelry, as well as items that were donated by the band, like a signed and doodled drum head and set lists.

The good news? We are bringing the auction back this year!

We are working hard on items to include in this year's thank you gifts, gathering many types from all ends of the spectrum. The most important thing is that 100% of the auction donation goes to charity! The items are just a thank you from us and the donating sponsors.

We will give more details on items as they are finalized.

The charity, as of right now, is still undecided. We want to hear from all of you on which charity we should give the donation to this year. So please, comment on this post, tweet us, comment on our Facebook, email us, whatever form of communication you use; let us know where you'd like to see the money go. We will pick the charity towards the end of September.

We are really looking forward to giving back to the world this year once again and we are looking forward to seeing everyone participate!

Last time, we raised around $1200, so let's do just as well or better this year! Save your pennies and keep your eyes peeled for more announcements!

Tyler teamed up with the Beacon Audio crew to design a custom, Limited Edition Neon Trees themed run of their new speaker, the Blazar!

Neon Trees bring bright, brassy fun to Summerfest stage

Spot-on singing aside, Glenn served as quite the firecracker for the band. To call his dramatic strutting, hip-snapping poses and prancing across the stage an above-average Mick Jagger impression would be selling him far short. He seemed more like the Stones’ frontman reincarnated with a blonde buzz cut.

Neon Trees shows cheesehead love during a crowd-pleasing Summerfest performance

Glenn's energy was contagious as he spun, danced, and high-kicked throughout the night, engaging the audience the entire time. Glenn even jumped offstage during the encore to come face-to-face with the fans and sing The Human League's "Don't You Want Me". And while his energy and stamina is remarkable, what is possibly more impressive is his ability to still demand everyone's attention through his vocal power and clarity during slower songs. A prime example of this is a rendition of "Your Surrender", where only Glenn is onstage singing while playing the keyboard.

Our first Summerfest gig back in 2010 was a big deal to us because it was the biggest show we'd done at that point and we were a little overwhelmed but they were so into it... and recently this arena tour with Maroon 5. We were the support band and when we had our half hour on stage you would've thought it was our show and our crowd because everyone was so into it and those arenas just came alive... We've had the good fortune to travel the world. We played in South Korea and you would've thought we were Queen playing at Wembley Arena, it was epic!
