Rasanya Ummi kena throwback dulu apa yang dah jadi sampai LRD kena pergi full day school sampai 4 hari. Masa 10hb Oct hari around lunch time bibik dapat call dari kampung kata mak dia meninggal. Masa bibik received that call ummi pun ada rumah so ada la dgr sikit2. lps tu bibik pun cakap la mak dia meninggal dalam sujud waktu solat zuhur di masjid....Innalillah...bertuah mak bibik meninggal hari Jumaat dalam menunaikan solat pulak tu. So lepas tu ummi pun kelam kabut la booking ticket utk bibik balik kampung. dapat 1st flight saturday morning. ticket return ummi tak beli sbb bibik pun not sure dia nak balik hari apa...dia kata kurang2 9 hari kenduri tahlilnya. so dia kata nak beli sendiri nanti. so ummi pun ok la. Start hari Isnin 13hb tu ummi pun cuti la....rasa bersalah jugak nak cuti sbb that week saja umi ada 3 important meetings berderet2. nasib baik la officer umi boleh diharap. ummi expect bibik akan balik the following sunday tu sbb dah ngam2 9 hari. rupanya tidak....dia kata nak balik hari khamis 23hb. ok fine lah...umi sms bos kata kena extend lg cuti sampai khamis. then hari petang tu ummi call nak confirm arrival time apa semua...time ni la magic berlaku. bibik kata dia baru perasan tiket dia tu 30hb...which is khamis depan. ummi and daddy speechless tak tau nak komen apa2....anggap je la ni ujian. tapi tu lah takkan nak extend lagi cuti...daddy pun dah tak cukup cuti nak cover sampai minggu depannye tu. lps dpt nasihat dari kengkawan ummi...maka we have decided to send LRD to daycare centre. So LRD...bila u baca ni nanti...ummi and daddy mintak maaf sbb terpaksa hantar u ke daycare....it was a good experience for u anyway :))

Ada satu je daycare/kindy yang boleh terima LRD temporary. itupun kebetulan sbb supervisor dia kenal ummi sbb ummi bawak LRD pergi open day daycare tu. See LRD...perancangan Allah itu yang paling indah....Dia bukakkan hati ummi ajak daddy gi open day kindy tu. Kindy tu mahal sikit...tp ummi and daddy got no choice plus tempat proper and berbaloi dengan harganya. of coz ummi nak yang the best for anak2 ummi.

Ok lepas ni ummi dah set every friday punya entry will be a foodilicious entry. Everything and anything abt food. So takde la pening hari ni nak cite apaa yerkk.

Utk entry pertama foodilicious friday...ummi nak cerita pasal aktiviti baking yg ummi buat dgn LRD. Latest one ummi buat Danish Butter cookies. Nak buat baking dgn 2 yrs old ni tak boleh buat rumit2 nnt huru hara. Cukup la sekadar bg they all merasa letak telur ke gula ke tepung ke yg dah letak siap2 dlm bekas kecik utk masuk dlm mixer. In fact kalau they all tarik kerusi panjat and tenung mixer yg berpusing2 tu pun dah cukup buat they all excited.

Utk butter cookies ni ummi mintak tolong LRD letakkan topping atas biscuit which ummi give up after the 3rd row. Adik kalau letak topping habis biskut tu ditekan. Kakak and abang ok la jugak tp agak berterabur. So thats it stop....ummi sambung sendiri. Sedap gak biscuit ni. Kat rumah mmg kena ada stock biscuit utk snacking LRD. Selalu ummi beli mini chipsmore and ritz cheese crackers. Setelah pelbagai eksperimen mmg ni dua jer they all suka. But ummi ada cita2 nak buat sendiri stock biscuit...so kitabtgk lah sampai bila ummi kamu ni rajin yerrrrr....

Bibik balik kampung emergency and ummi kena gi bank. So this is their first trip to the bank and first time ummi keluar dgn triplet...just us! Alhamdulillah Allah permudahkan urusan...all three of them behaved siap jalan pegang tangan. Selesai urusan di bank ummi singgah office pulak...saja nak check dgn officer ummi everything ok ke tak. Kesian dia kena handle semua sendiri tp Alhamdulillah officer ummi mmg boleh diharap. InsyaAllah tahun ni ummi akn up lagi appraisal dia.

Finally I find time to write a post...how...coz I took the bus to work today..

For the past couple of month I've been driving to work...so no time to write anything on the road...once arrived..I do not have much time also to write coz too much work to do..

Once at home...I also have to start working until 12 plus...So I will not sacrifice my sleep time for a post...I have my priorities...

But taking the bus...you have spend so much time waiting...waiting...gawking...daydreaming and what not...hence this entry...

Plus I shattered my gnote screen last year and never bothered too fixed it...using my back up phone is too tedious to write an post...so hopefully I can start writing again about LRD soon.... entry

The Triplet and the 1st birthday Cake

OK...so lets start this blogging thing all over again with this picture....

yes LRD....this is your 1st birthday cake....rainbow cake with cream cheese topping. pernah sekali order at this baker utk office event...it was superb. but 2nd time order for the triplets birthday party mcm kureng sikit. maybe sbb buat dua aduanan kot. anyway, i hope to write more abt their birthday party in a diff entry. let see when will that happen.

and last but not least.....introducing the triplets....now 1 year old....

mcm2 perangai...yg kuat menjerit mengada2 pun ada...yg kaki pukul pun ada....yg gila tv pun ada....boleh agak kan dlm gambar ni sapa yg gila tv?? is that good or no good? yg stress nya skrg mmg sgt susah nak amik gambar mereka bertiga ni dalam satu posisi yg ready. setting camera pun kena buat sport so that boleh snap continuosly.

but every day with them around is a superb adventure. full of laughter...and laughter...and more laughter...love you my babies and i know this is 1 month late to have it written in this blog.....

Since they were born in Jan last yr..LRD never had any major sickies..no fever..flu..even that demam kuning...none..they did had running nose 2 twice last yr which last 2-3 days...but that's it...
Then on 31st Dec...while i was awfully bz in the office...for year end closing of the financial yr...ummi called...said LD is down with fever..
So i rushed back and both were having major runny nose and cough..with L temperature hovers around 37 degrees.
So on the eve of new yr..whilst everybody was outside welcoming 2013..i had to watch the fireworks from the balcony...like i ever go out in the middle of the night to watch fireworks anyway...i'd rather sleep than do outdoor stuff
Anyway...in the morning we brought LD to the clinic and got some drug for the cough and colds..and spent the whole day camped at home
As of today..the virus have moved on to raid...with awful cough during the night...me and ummi also got infected...Leia still got the occasionaæ sniffles...i have a feeling containing the virus is an impossible feat.... HAPPY NEW YEAR FOLKS!!!

I love gadgets...i love new toys...latest toy i bought recently is my vaping tool aka eciggarete. I was a smoker back 2010...then reality creep in..the bad stuff u inhale..so i switched to ecig...bought it for rm200 plus...and never wanted analog cig anymore. Then my ecig got broken in 2011..this is when ummi was pregger with LRD and i never bothered to smoke at all.

Then this yr...i was bored and stressed at the same time..like that also can and started smoking again and somehow ummi knew i was smoking but did not scold me..hmmm maybe she dun care if i kick the bucket since i've done my duty as a specimen donor...
So recently i bought another set of ecig by smokerhaven and started vaping again....

And today..my boss was raving about this revolutionary product called thermomix....this baby can do mountainous job of a kitchen appliance with a touch of a button...well multiple buttons i would say.
So i google the darn thing and ...seriously i'm blown away...it can do chopping..grinding..kneading etc..and cook the meal itself....in the same appliance!!!
My boss swears it can even make sorbet...so 3 course dinner is possible with this thing...

Ok i need to put a disclaimer..i'm not an agent nor i can profit from advertising this stuff...though my boss did hinted to me...if i want..tell her...she can get better discount. I guess her friends is an agent and this thing is NOT cheap...RM5K plus...sheeshhh...ohh yeah she also said...dun worry..can pay installment RM499 every month....this is the new type of tupperware selling but seriously i'm tempted coz the inner cook in me keep whispering...buy it..buy it....Maybe i can join Masterchef with this stuff and kick some butt....

Since LDR arrival this year...we bought alot of toys...toys that runs on batteries...their rocker also runs on batteries..their rattle thingy also got battery...their baby monitor also runs on batteries
So buying alkaline batteries is not the best solution...mind you..i need triple the quantity. I always told ummi to buy those simpler toys..no electronic component..they have less tendency to get broken.

Ok enuff talking abt broken toys..i'm suppose to write abt my trusty eneloop batt. These guys are one of the best investment i ever made...maybe after our house and asb...ranked 3rd. The 1st set i bought back in 2008 in sydney...to power my pentax dslr. I was reading some review abt the camera and somebody recommended this rechargeable batt. Then i did further digging...lo and behold i'm hooked. The same set still chugging along powering their rocker and toys to this day. I did buy additional 4 new set AA and another 4 set of AAA early this yr..same model..These babies can last quite sometime...

Some toys need the bigger batteries..D or C type..no worries..i bought D adaptor in ebay which can house 2 piece of AA batteries and we're good to go..
So all in all...i reduced buying those alkaline batt with the eneloops..slightly reducing hazardous chemical from going into the dumpster and further pollute the ground...thats what the marketing campaign from them anyway...i'm a sucker for marketing fad

My trusty eneloop..so far I have 8 pcs AA and 3 pcs AAA..planning to add another 8pcs

nice date today so kena la update blog sbg kenang-kenangan. i wanted to write a longer entry...with more details about LRD. so....in a dark air conditioned room sambil tgk LRD tidor dibuai mimpi at almost 8pm....on laptop...slot in sd card...browse dulu sekejap internet.....last2 ummi pun tidor dibuai mimpi zzzzzzzzzz sampai la MrDaddy balik frm work at 10 plus. actually this has been my routine for these past few weeks. sgt sgt tidak productive!!! but then...bestnye tidoo. thats why bila org tanye tido cukup ke tak...the answer is yes! i tido awal sekali dgn budak2 ni. even kena bangun on average 6 kali every nite utk buat susu (LRD tak bangun serentak)....and bangun at 6 am to prepare their breakfast, lunch and dinner......bila campur tolak semua i rasa i tido cukup 6 jam...kadang2 lebih lgpun ada.

so enjoy je lah my beauty sleep sementara the kids punye sleep routine derang tgh ok ni. esok lusa tak tau lah mcm. anyway, here are some pictures of them today around 7pm tgh main2. main2 puas sampai penat....730pm bawak naik....and tido. but of course nak bg derang tido is a diff story...phewww. nite nite

The Triplets and Pesta Jom Makan Buah

ok the title has got nothing to do with LRD...but i think i must blog about this Pesta Jom Makan Buah which ends tomorrow at Putrajaya. actually event dah ada since 7/12 but tak heran pun until today my frens ajak pi Eat All You Can during lunch. For RM15 per head makan la sampai pengsan durian, manggis and rambutan. so there you go....3 of us had 4 biji of durians, some rambutan and manggis. isi tebal sedap...sapa yg giler durian mmg tak rugi la pegi.

Besides gerai buah-buahan, ada jugak mcm2 makanan. and this is my fav...sate tulang jelebu. dah lama dah teringin nak rasa sate tulang ni kat senawang tak sangka dia dtg bukak gerai kat Putrajaya. sate tulang ni bila tanya budak yg jaga tu dia kata sate yg dibuat daripada tulang ayam dan diperap dgn resipi rahsia. siap sebut tu resipi rahsia....tp mmg sedap la sate ni. tak byk isi buat sedap nak gigit2. masa lunch time beli secucuk nak try. 1 cucuk for RM1.30.

On the way balik singgah lagi beli 8 cucuk untuk Mr Daddy, Tok Umi and Bibik. also bought cendol pulut durian from gerai borhan and popia basah. kat situ ada satu gerai jual keropok kering....sekilo RM18. dia goreng byk jugak utk bagi rasa dgn sos cili padi Mak Wan. sedap jugak...bought half kilo of it. Esok ingat nak singgah lagi beli limau bali pulak :)

so now back to LRD....since now masing2 dah laju merangkak except for Leia yang masih seronok menjulur2, so kena la sentiasa watch out. dah la sorang kat sana...sorang kat sini. so Mr Daddy you better start looking for that pagar. tambah pulak dgn hobi terbaru LRD skrang suka memanjat...nak selamatkan si Leia....si Dhia pulak tersembam. nak selamat kan si Dhia....si Raid plak tergolek. anyway, here is the latest video of them....Leia and Raid watching TV and Dhia dok main rocker Leia.

This is a journal entry...quick snippet on the happening on 8th Dec 2012...Its 7pm..and ummi have left us all alone to go to Alor Star...so just you 3 and me...plus bibik..but she will have a minor role...coz her shift ends by 9pm...
Me..i'm freaking out right now...can i handle all 3 by myself till tmrw morning...coz we never done this before
I was thinking to bring them home to my hometown for the night...but after the ruined 1st day raya fiasco....they still threw tantrum to their grandpa and grandma... i didn't dare take that chance.. so this is quite a feat...and would qualify me to be nominated as father of the year.....so here we go!!
7.07pm : R went up to bed first..we was planning to go to bed only around 8..just to make sure they're really2 tired and sleepy..but seems like he already cranky...
7.20pm : R is sound asleep...ok so far so good...
7.51pm : L turn....D sorry you gotta wait...L keeps playing with my hand n finger but refuses to sleep. Its her thing now...grabbing my finger b4 going to sleep...
8.14pm : suddenly bibik knocking on the door, D wanna sleep she said...greatt...L still not asleep. This is when i wished i have super powers...not superman...coz his super strength wont help in this situation..i wished i'm plasticman..so i can reach both baby cot on the left and right side of our bed...i kept rolling left and right to give milk to D and also give my fingers to L so she can sleep.
8.38pm : Finally the girls fall asleep...
9.00ishpm : the daddy also fallen asleep..sheesh...i was planning to catch upon some movies and games from PSN....well that will not happen today
12.30am: L woke up for milk...i'm half asleep stumbles around to mix 4 ounces of milk
1.20am R woke up......milk now
5.08am: D n R woke up...not crying..so gave them the pacifiers...
6.35am: L woke up crying for milk...gave some and later on only finishes half of it..
6.40am: R woke up..mumbling nonsense...no milk for u then
6.48am: D finally awake from slumberland...crawling over me...then trying to pick a fight with L...then cries..one milk for u
7.30am : LDR came down one by one for breakfast...success!!

On 20th nov ...it's their 10 month birthday..yeah I'm forced to remember their monthly bday. I mean...c'mon..seriously..do all parents do this...monthly celebration...it is a thing in these day and age..do we congrats each other on the FB wall too??

" HBTY kids"....like that??

Anyway....i refused to conform against such ritual....so we did not celebrate....Ummi relentless tried to convince me to buy a rainbow cake..costing around RM100..WTH!!! for a monthly birthday for crying out loud...do we have bi-weekly bday celebration too?? If money coming out from my behind that it shouldn't be an issue..

So we stayed at home the whole day...then Tok Ummi suddenly mentioned wanna go out around 5pm. We were dumbfounded...and that's when we realized she's been toiling day in day out to take care of the triplets the whole week and come weekend..it's the same thing...coz the parent is just too lazy to go out. In our defense..we're the homey type of ppl..hate going out...hate the traffic...hate the crowd in the shopping mall...

Furthermore we have certain criteria when going out to public with LDR

1. we always plan ahead of time..try avoid public holidays or weekends or especially events like KL Marathon..sigh

2. location must be stroller friendly..so as far as shopping complex is concerned..only Ikano and Alamanda qualifies. The rest do not have that flat type escalator thing...i dunno what is the term

3. Elevators must be able to cater our tandem and single stroller in one trip..plus many more bystanders...most of elevators here is pretty cramp...and occasionally either of us need to wait for another lift to move around

For the past 9 month..we can count by fingers the times we go out in public..minus hospital visits..that's already mandatory...when they were born prematurely..the nurses already advised us not to go out in public in the 1st 6 month...coz their immune system have not matured yet and maybe susceptible to common virus..for us it is a welcomed advise coz we do not go out much anyway....

So we figured, tok ummi is losing her mind handling LDR all day long...no social interaction with adults her own age....coz i know she used to be a social butterfly back in the days..hehehehe..i'm gonna get a mouthful from ummi with that kind of statement..

On sunday couple of weeks ago, we decided to eat out for lunch...in Alamanda..hence the second time for LDR went out to shopping mall..the first one was before fasting month in Ikano....

This was in Serai Cyberjaya last weekend..cozy place..not so many people around coz it was on saturday..parking near the elevator..big elevator to the 3rd floor. We keep forgetting to bring their teething biscuits..so we look like awful parents stuffing our face with huge amount of food whilst the kids watched us..too bad

I was bored...got nothing to do...flicking thru the pics gallery then saw a couple of pics...and the thought of prison break came to mind...loved the 1st season...after that it just went downhill...anyway i'm supposed to post this last week but an unfortunate event happens...i dropped my phone on the concrete floor and messed up the screen really bad..then my backup phone suddenly bricked...so went back to the cracked screen phone for daily use..sigh

Since i have not drafted the entry for how they came about series..and probably never will...this is sort of some snippets of those final months before LDR's arrival

i read ALOT of books just to kill time. I would go nuts watching drama swasta at 9pm..and that Boboiboy cartoon at 6pm every freakin day.....i'm still traumatised till this day watching their video clips..it just bring me back to that small single bed room in HUKM. Living in a small compound with a demanding and cranky soon to burst wife is not honeymoon. Whatever i do or say is not acceptable and way below her expectactions. FYI, i have no idea what her expectations were..its keep on changing every hour. But i took it like a man...i persevered..i endured..i survived............

I did get some rest or some peace and quiet whenever relatives come and visit us..that's when ummi put up her brave face..smiles..laugh...yes she's in denial mode...It's like when UN come to visit those in turmoil countries..and the president would tell the UN rep..everything fine in here...nothing to worry...the citizen are being taken care of..no civil rights are violated yada yada.....and turn green when they've gone back to their cozy lifes..hulk smash!!

Note to LDR : This is the sacrifice your father have to shoulder during those tiring times. Taking the shit from your ummi for you guys..

There was days when we try not to see each other face..coz plastic cups will fly....and it does hurts. To those criminal soon to be.. before trying to get a tenancy in Sg Buloh prison..try staying 30 painful days in a hospital with your pregnant wife...it is a nighmare!! Food is bad..the roommate is always in a fit...have i mentioned this..yes..food is bad...the room is cramped...there is no where for you to go and hide...

Ok..maybe bad food is a bit of a stretch compared to prison food..we did stayed in the private wing..so we can select asian or western menu..but this list of menus is limited..after 1 week..you can already know it is back to same menu. So yes...it sucks big time..

Furthermore, i usually buy the food from the canteen...slightly better selection...there is nasi lemak...nasi campur...etc..but after eating there day in day out...you just wanna throw up. But i need to point out...the yellow color nasi lemak with banana leaf is a joy to eat...that is the only one thing i can enjoy till today whenever we go there for an appointment. Kudos to the makcik...i've gained a kilo or two for that food alone...hello cholestrol!!

But on a hindsight...there was some silver lining...for one...i really love going to office. I'll immediately just bolted out of the door in the morning..even though it's monday morning....freedom!!

I would come back late from office though i've got nothing to do...why would i. So i become extra hardworking in those final months...

So this was my life before...and those who defending her with remarks about she was bearing 3 child in her tummy for 8 months....well this is my counter...the 3 kids..do not throw tantrum!! I was bearing an over dosed adult woman with too much hormone in her body and no where to release it and i was the nearest punching bag around...so spare me the argument....plus this is my entry anyway...hah..take that

My RM30 per day bed..during the first couple of days i was sleeping on the floor with just the toto..but i guess my back does not agree with me...it is like sleeping on the hard flat floor..so i opted to this foldable sofa cum single bed...slighly better but still not certified by orthopaedic society.

* Pls take note, this entry has nothing to do with LDR. Also its a bit geeky and nerdy stuff...so pls stop reading if you're not into this

My co. use Lotus Notes..yes this software still around..we sell them..back in those days..when everybody using Nokia..i would use Nokia PC Suite to sync my calendar into my phone. It is a blessing to just check your schedule in the phone instead of booting your laptop..waiting for it to load..connect to vpn...wait again..then start application..waiting to load again...and then can check the calendar..it is a pain..especially during weekend where i would avoid switching on the laptop. I used to double book my schedule or forgot i even have an appointment due to this. So Nokia..thank you for those memorable years..

Then i switch to Blackberry...my co supported the devices..so email, contacts and calendar all sync into my trusty BB Curve 8900...all is well minus the 8 character password on the lockscreen..it is a pain to use especially when you're driving. I don't even use the laptop to work anymore..except when I need to edit some documents.

Then i moved on to android phones..the beauty of a bigger screen...more real estate, but no free syncing app supporting lotus notes..sheesh. I instead opted for a beta testing within the co. for Lotus Traveler..its sometimes work...mostly it will just sync the whole day and draining my battery life without anything get sync'ed. So I give up on that...

Still, calendar is my lifeline...i don't want to spend my time to copying my Lotus calendar into my phone one by one..there must be a better way..so today I googled "how to..bla bla" and voila...found a free script syncing my Lotus notes to Google Calendar..and it will push the calendar into my phone

Its quite a straightforward process to set it up..and now it is working fine...I just need to make sure the script is running in my laptop all the time to pick up any changes in the calendar...whoopiee..no more 8 character password on my phone. Plus I dun have that new email coming in on weekend stress anymore
