How do you decide when you can't decide? I once heard there is no such thing as a bad decision, only decisions made with the information you had at that time. So maybe that gives me an excuse for the bad ones, but what do you do about those big pesky decisions and even the little ones when you just don't know which way to turn?

My husband asked me where I truly want to live now that the kids are all grown. Of course there are beautiful places in France and even in this great big USA. Trouble is I live in a plain old suburban flat town in Texas. So it isn't special, but it is what I know, the kids are nearby, and those adorable grandkids. Can I handle that much change? Is the grass really greener somewhere else? (Okay that last question has an answer, after the summer drought - everywhere is a little greener.)

It took most of the morning just to figure out how to make a turquoise goat picture for the blog. I have to get back to work on our master bedroom make-over so I will hopefully get back to this soon. For now, here is my very first Turquoise distressed paint job!

I Found My Favorite Color and All Shades In Between

It sounds so exotic to say I love Turquoise, or I love Tiffany Blue, but at the heart of it all is that it is all of shade of Blue. I could never say I just like blue. It sounds so boring, common. But now I know I love blue and all shades of blue. So why the goat? Because I love those too! In the 70's turquoise jewelry became very popular and I loved it and wore it with quasi-hippie pride. In the 80's I had my babies and searched for a lifestyle that would be better for them. Live in the country, raise goats, and have a better life. But that life never came. Skip to now - I am retiring, I travelled to France and now that love is added to my passions. So now my world is more wide open to be free to choose. I am starting with turquoise and goats.
