Jakobsson's Swedish Snus now ' Made for America '

Gotlandssnus AB has changed the flavors of their Jakobsson's Snus brand hoping to lure Americans who don't know better or are used to the often sickly sweet flavors of so-called American Snus.

While they have (so far) kept Jakobsson's Ice Fruit Snus and Jakobsson's Classic Snus the same, they have launched three new flavors: Jakobsson's Strong Wintergreen, Jakobsson's Strong Mint, and sadly have added Jakobsson's Strong Classic. The Strong Classic tastes nothing like the original Classic; now being too sweet.

First Camel SNUS and Marlboro Snus began the dumbing down of real snus for Americans. Now it seems Gotlandssnus AB has joined the sugar-coated bandwagon as well........

Bill Godshall Strikes Back at Anti-All-Tobacco Zealots on WIBA radio

Bill Godshall is a 30 year outspoken anti-cigarette activist. Where Mr. Godshall differs from from most others of his type is that he is rational. First of all, he knows that telling nicotine addicted tobacco users of all kinds that they must quit cold turkey and forever is a no-win and cruel strategy.

While still fighting hard against cigarettes, Bill gets that other nicotine delivery systems don't harm those around you and are much less harmful than cigarettes.

Today, he supports smoke-free tobacco of which Swedish Snus has the least potential risk. Swedish Snus is 99% less harmful than cigarette smoking. Forty years of studies and the living laboratory of Scandinavia prove this.

In 1970, the Swedish Government began regulating Swedish snus as a food product. This has resulted in products with only 1% the harm potential of cigarettes....and Sweden has the lowest rate of cigarette use in the world at only 11%.

Godshall is also a big proponent of Electronic Cigarettes; commonly know as e-cigs, vapor tobacco, and other catchy names. Bill will fight to the death to stop cigarette smoking, but will also fight for the rights of tobacco users and the nicotine addicted.

It's that time again. While the USPS runs $3BB in the red, Congress has refused to increase the price of stamps, and as more of our mail mysteriously never makes it to the final destination, FDA's Tobacco Control Act (TCA) and BATF's Prevent all Cigarette Trafficking Act (PACT) continue to fight to keep all tobacco (including Swedish Snus but not Cigars) from being shipped via USPS. Did anyone at the Congressional Budget Office run the numbers to see how massive the amount of revenue this ban is costing the US postal service? It seems that cigarette and smokeless tobacco smuggling terrorists only use the USPS: they have never heard of UPS, FedEx, DHL, or even U-Haul.
