My bedtime routine

Hello! I know I've been MIA, but now I'm back and ready for action. I had an amazing summer, I traveled like crazy and had lots of fun, but I will talk about what I did last summer in another post. Now I will show you what I do before I go to sleep every night.

This is my ideal routine, and lately I've been good at keeping it.

So let's get to it:

Bună! Sper că nu m-ați dat dispărută, am revenit în sfârșit după o super vacanță în care am calătorit într-una și m-am distrat enorm. Voi povesti mai pe larg în altă postare despre vara mea, sper să nu vină iarna până atunci. Acum vă voi povesti despre rutina mea de frumusețe de dinainte de somn și despre ceea ce fac pentru a avea un somn liniștit.

First, I remove my makeup with the L'Oréal Sublime Soft Micellar Water using some big cotton pads from Caterine. If I'm too tired, I keep next to my bed a pack of Balea cleansing wipes and I remove all my makeup with them, even waterproof makeup, and they do a pretty amazing job.

After I take off my makeup, I wash my face with Elmiplant Skin Moisture Cleansing Gel. Once a week I exfoliate my face with the Bioten scrub. After I pat dry my skin, I apply the Bioten toner and then moisturize my skin with the Nivea Aqua Effect Night Cream and apply a Gerocossen eye cream for dark circles. I hate waking up with dry lips, so I apply a lip balm every night. On my night stand you can currently find the Oriflame Pure Nature Acai Berry & Pomergranate lip balm.

În primul rând, mă demachiez cu apa micelară de la L'Oréal, folosind dischetele demachiante mari de la Caterine (Kaufland). În caz că sunt prea obosită, țin lângă pat un pachet de șervețele demachiante de la Balea care îndepartează foarte bine și machiajul rezistent la apă.

După ce am îndepărtat machiajul, îmi spăl fața cu gelul de curățare de la Elmiplant. O dată pe săptămână îmi exfoliez tenul cu crema exfoliantă de la Bioten. După ce îmi usuc fața, aplic loțiunea tonică de la Bioten și apoi îmi hidratez tenul cu crema de noapte Aqua Effects de la Nivea, iar în zona ochilor aplic crema împotriva cearcănelor de la Gerocossen. Pentru a nu avea surpriza să mă trezesc cu buzele crăpate, folosesc un balsam de buze în fiecare seară. Momentan îl folosesc pe cel de la Oriflame Pure Nature cu rodie și fructe de acai.

This summer I went to the dentist a dozen times and it was a wake-up call. I've always taken care of my teeth, but I found out it wasn't enough. Every night I brush my teeth and my tongue. I use a Oral-B toothbrush and Blend-a-med 3D White toothpaste. I floss with Colgate Pro-Gum health interdental floss and then rinse my mouth with Listerine Stay White mouthwash. I love this combination and I think I will stick with it.

Vara aceasta am vizitat foarte des medicul dentist și am realizat că trebuie să am și mai multă grijă de dinții mei, așa că, ceea ce făceam doar de câteva ori pe săptămână fac acum zilnic. În fiecare seară îmi periez dinții cu periuța de la Oral-B și cu pasta de dinți Blend-a-med 3D white, iar apoi folosesc o periuță specială pentru limbă. După, folosesc ața dentară Pro-Gum health interdental de la Colgate și apa de gură Stay White de la Listerine.

I moisturize my hands every night with Himalaya Age Defying hand cream and after every bath I take I moisturize my whole body with Garnier Intensive care for extra-dry skin. I've been buying this since 10th grade and I can't get enough. I love the smell and the fact that it leaves a nice sheen on my skin and it looks amazing on tanned skin.

Îmi hidratez mâinile în fiecare noapte cu crema Himalaya Age Defying și după fiecare baie îmi hidratez întregul corp cu Laptele de corp reparator de la Garnier. Îmi place și îl cumpăr încă din clasa a 10-a pentru că miroase frumos și lasă un luciu frumos pielii și se vede extraordinar, mai ales pe pielea bronzată. Când vine vremea rece prefer un produs și mai hidratant, preferatul meu fiind untul de corp cu nucă braziliană de la The Body Shop.

For winter I love something thicker and my favorite moisturizer is the Brazilian Nut Body Butter from The Body Shop.

Also, I hydrate my cuticles with the SOS nail savers cuticle cream from Essence and apply a foot cream from Scholl after every bath.

If my skin is extra dry and flaking, I apply a cream with marigold extract. I have a huge bottle because it's like a miracle cream and it comes in handy every time.

După baie, îmi hidratez cuticulele cu crema SOS Nail savers de la Essence și aplic și o cremă de picioare de la Scholl. După o vară de umblat cu picioarele goale prin nisip, crema de la Shcoll face minuni.

Dacă am vreo zonă a corpului care are nevoie de extra hidratare, aplic crema de gălbenele de la Krauter.

A coupe of days a week I indulge myself with a cup of hot tea and in the colder months I have one every day. My absolute favorite tea is Dukai Wild Africa Rooibos Honey & Vanilla.

Înainte de culcare îmi place să beau un ceai cald, mai ales dacă afară este mai frig. Preferatul meu este un ceai rooibos cu miere și vanilie de la Dukat (Kaufland), este absolut delicios.

Some other favorites of mine to drink before bed are the Relaxing Tea with green apples and Melissa from Aromafruct and the Twinings Peach and Passionfruit tea.

Alte ceaiuri foarte bune înainte de culcare sunt: ceaiul relaxant cu mere verzi și Melissa de la Aromafruct și cel de la Twinings cu piersici și fructul pasiunii.

And of course, as I drink my amazing tea I spend a little time (or a few hours) playing my favorite game, The Simpsons Tapped Out. Then, I leave my TV on Discovery channel and soon enough my eyes slowly close and I fall asleep and dream about little cute kittens.

Nu se poate să omit că în fiecare seară, înainte de culcare, îmi petrec timpul jucându-mă jocul meu preferat, The Simpsons Tapped Out. Noapte bună!

Hello! Today I'm going to show you what products I have finished lately and say my opinions about them, like a mini review.

Bună! Astăzi vă voi arăta ce produse am consumat în ultima perioadă și voi spune parerile mele despre ele. Mie îmi face o deosebită plăcere să fac curățenie și mai ales să arunc la gunoi produsele consumate, dar acum m-am ambiționat să le păstrez pentru această postare.

Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation in 103 true ivory - I liked the feel of it and the smell, but I had to really set it with powder, otherwise it would disappear in a couple of hours. It didn't last very well on my skin, it oxidized later in the day, but I liked how it made my skin look. I think it is more for those days when your skin is problems-free, as it is very light coverage. I don't think I'll repurchase because I love my foundations to cover well and stay put with little powder and also I can't stick to one foundation, I have to try them all!

Fondul de ten Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation în nuanța 103 true ivory - Mi-a plăcut textura și mirosul acestuia, dar a trebuit să îl fixez cu multă pudră pentru a rezista pe ten mai mult de 2 ore. Nu a rezistat foarte bine pe ten, oxida după câteva ore, dar mi-a plăcut felul în care se aplica și cum mă făcea să par fresh. Nu l-aș recumpăra pentru că mie îmi plac fondurile de ten care nu au nevoie de multă pudră care să reziste și deasemenea doresc să încerc și alte fonduri de ten.

Garnier BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector for combination/oily skin - I didn't like it. It was very runny, the color was to orange for me and it smelt very strongly like alcohol. The finish was nice and it stayed on my skin rather long without moving, but I wouldn't repurchase because of the awful smell. Also, after a couple of months of using it only in combination with other foundations, I noticed the color changing and I stopped using it.

Garnier BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector pentru ten mixt/gras - Nu mi-a plăcut din cauza mirosului foarte puternic de alcool. Era foarte lichid, culoarea tindea spre portocaliu deși era cea mai deschisă nuanță, dar mirosul a fost cel care m-a determinat să nu-l mai cumpăr. Îmi plăcea cum arăta pe ten, rezista bine în timpul zilei și fără pudră. După câteva luni de folosire am observat că s-a schimbat culoarea așa că nu l-am mai folosit.

Olay refreshing face wash - Very nice cleanser, loved the smell, lathered well. It cleaned my face well, didn't leave my skin feeling tight and didn't break me out. I liked it, I would repurchase.

Plum & Red Cherry Body Polish from Superdrug - Loved it, it smells absolutely delicious. I had the matching shower gel, both smell amazing and are cheap. I would definitely repurchase.

Nivea Aqua Effect night cream - I'm a big fan of the Nivea night creams and this didn't disappoint. Every morning I noticed my skin improving after using this at night. I like the smell of it and how well makes my skin look and I will repurchase.

Crema de noapte Nivea Aqua Effect - Mereu mi-au plăcut cremele de noapte de la Nivea și aceasta nu m-a dezamăgit. De fiecare dată când o foloseam, dimineața mă trezeam cu un ten odihnit și curat. Cu siguranță o voi recumpăra, nu este nici foarte grasă, cum sunt de obicei cremele de noapte.

Balea Trend It Up Dry Shampoo - Usually I love this, I can't live without dry shampoo, this saved my life countless times, it is cheap and efficient. I am disappointed in this particular bottle, I think they put too much propane in it and it made me choke, I had to hold my breath as I was using it. I hope I will not encounter this problem again when I repurchase it.

Șamponul uscat Balea Trend It Up - Acesta este produsul meu preferat, mi-a salvat "viața" de multe ori, este ieftin și își face treaba foarte bine. Ce nu mi-a plăcut a fost că sticla aceasta a fost cu defect, probabil au pus prea mult propan pentru că mirosea groaznic de înecăcios, trebuia să îl folosesc ținându-mi respirația și să aerisesc bine după. Este mereu pe raftul meu cu cosmetice și sper să nu mai întâlnesc această problemă.

Avon Advance Techniques Moisture Sleek smoothing serum - Loved it, it made my hair very silky and smooth. It's not very greasy as I find many serums are, and even if I'd put too much product by accident, my hair would still look amazing. Will repurchase it.

Serum pentru netezire Avon Advance Tehniques - Mi-a plăcut, îmi făcea părul foarte mătăsos, ușor de pieptănat și frumos. Nu este foarte uleios cum sunt alte serumuri și chiar dacă puneam mai mult din greșeală, părul meu tot frumos arăta după. Îl voi recumpăra.

Elmiplant Skin Control face wash- Nice face scrub, cheap, did the job, would repurchase. It didn't really got rid of blackheads but it was a nice scrub. At first some pimples appeared because of it but my skin got used to it and I didn't have this problem anymore.

Bourjois So Laque Glossy in shade Amande défilé - Loved it at first, it was an amazing color, it took 3 layers to achieve an even color and it would stay on my nails 4 day without chipping using a top coat and 2-3 days without top coat. I used it maybe 3 times and then the color changed from a very pretty light green to a not nice milky blueish color, and the formulation thickened, making it unusable. I'm very disappointed, I have way cheaper nail polishes that haven't changed even if they are even 2 years old.

Ojă Bourjois So Laque Glossy nuanța Amande défilé - Este din colecția trecută și sunt foarte dezamăgită de ea. La început mi-a plăcut mult, culoarea era foarte frumoasă și rezista bine pe unghii dacă aplicam un top coat. Am folosit-o de maxim 3 ori și după culoarea s-a schimbat dintr-un verde deschis frumos într-un bleo lăptos și urât, oja s-a îngroșat și nu am mai putut să o utilizez. Sunt foarte dezamăgită, am oje de 1 leu de la metrou care au rezistat mai bine deși le am de ani întregi.

Maybelline The Collosal Volum'Express Mascara 100% black - It gave me amazing volume and it was very black, I loved it. It didn't last very well on my lashes, it would flake and smudge. I would repurchase only for the amazing effects it gave my lashes, the most dramatic effect a mascara has given me.

Rimel Maybelline The Collosal Volum'Express 100% black - Cel mai bun rimel pentru volum pe care l-am încercat, îmi făcea genele să pară false și era foarte negru. Nu rezista foarte bine, până seara eram neagră sub ochi, dar l-aș recumpăra doar pentru efectul incredibil pe care l-a dat genelor mele.

Hello! This week was very hot and I couldn't really do anything without sweating like a pig. I mostly made plans about my upcoming trip and took long walks in the park. I bought a few things to take with me to Greece and I decided to make a little haul. I bought:

L'Oréal Paris le teint Accord Parfait in shade rose beige - it has SPF 17

Astor Eye Artist Waterproof & Long lasting Eyeliner in black - this is my third bottle, it really stays on and gas a slight glossy finish

Bourjois ombre à paupières eyeshadow in shade 10

Maybelline The Falsies Volum'Express waterproof mascara

I searched all over town for a sunscreen I had my eyes on, but I didn't find it anywhere and got mad and bought Nivea sun protect & bronze in 20 medium instead. I also bought a Gerovital tanning oil with SPF 10. I had to buy a new bottle of Balea Trend It Up dry shampoo to take with me to Greece, I can't live without it now.

Bună! Săptămana aceasta a fost foarte călduroasă și nu prea am putut face multe fără să transpir groaznic. Mi-am făcut planuri pentru excursia următoare și m-am plimbat prin parc să mă răcoresc. Am cumpărat câteva lucruri pentru a le lua în Grecia cu mine:

Fond de ten L'Oréal Paris le teint Accord Parfait, nuanța rose beige cu fps 17 (50 lei din Kendra), Astor Eye Artist Waterproof & Long lasting Eyeliner (a fost 38 lei în Douglas- foarte bun, rezistent, este a 3-a soară când îl cumpăr), Bourjois ombre à paupières eyeshadow nuanța 10 (23 lei din Douglas), rimel Maybelline The Falsies Volum'Express varianta waterproof (36 lei din Kendra).

Am umblat din farmacie în farmacie pentru a găsi o cremă protectoare pe care mi-o doream, dar nu am gasit-o, așa că am cumpărat Nivea sun protect&bronze (22 lei din Carrefour) și un ulei de plajă de la Gerovital cu fps 10 (21 lei din Carrefour). Am mai cumpărat din Dm un șampon uscat Balea Trend It Up (12 lei).

Besides going shopping, this week I took walks in the park with my parents and then with my boyfriend's mother, admiring the swans and ducks, laughing at the strange noises the peacocks were making and cooling off in the shade.

În rest, m-am plimbat prin parc cu părinții mei care au venit în vizită și cu mama prietenului meu. Am admirat lebedele și rățuștele simpatice care se bălăceau în voie, am stat la umbră și am râs de păunii care scoteau tot felul de sunete haioase.

This week I drank a lot of latte macchiato, my favorite coffee based drink.

Am băut aproape în fiecare zi latte macchiato, bautura mea preferata pe baza de cafea. Eu nu prea beau cafea, dar un latte macchiato cu cantitatea potrivită de zahar îmi place la nebunie.

Lately I've been hooked on a new tv drama series called The White Queen, a show about love, war and magic. I love all historic shows, I'm fascinated about how different other eras were. Also, I miss The Borgias, one of my favorite shows and I had to find something to replace it with.

Another obsession lately was True Blood, a very sexy vampire show that has me hooked. It's not for everyone's taste, but I like it.

În ultima vreme am fost înnebunită după The White Queen, un nou serial istoric despre dragoste, război și magie. Mi-a plăcut la nebunie The Borgias, am fost tare supărată când a fost anulat și tot am căutat un serial pentru a-l înlocui. The White Queen este complet diferit, însă îmi place mult.
Am descoperit True Blood acum 2 sezoane și nu m-am putut opri din uitat. Sezonul acesta mă ține cu sufletul la gură de fiecare dată și hei, e cu vampiri sexy, așa că nu mă puteți învinovăți.

Bioderma Sensibio H2O vs. L'Oréal Sublime Soft Micellar Water

Hello! Today I will do a review and comparison between the Bioderma Sensibio H2O and L'Oréal Sublime Soft Micellar Water.

I am a YouTube and blog addict, so as soon as I heard about the micellar water rave, I had to pick one up to try it for myself.

I heard only good things about Bioderma Sensibio H2O and I decided to get one. The planets aligned and I got two bottles for the price of one at Sensiblu. I am about to finish my second bottle, so I can really tell my opinion about it. The L'Oréal one I bought recently, used about 4 times, but the differences are clear from my point of view.

So, let's get on with the comparison:

Bună! Astăzi voi face o comparație între apa micelară Sensibio de la Bioderma și cea de la L'Oréal. Fiind dependentă de YouTube și de bloguri, am auzit că toată lumea ridică în slăvi apa micelară, așa că a trebuit să o încerc și eu.

Am auzit multe lucruri bune despre cea de la Bioderma așa că am cumpărat-o. Am găsit o ofertă în Sensiblu și am cumpărat două sticle de 250 ml la prețul uneia, adică in jur de 50 lei.

Sunt la jumătatea utlimei sticle, deci chiar am folosit-o bine și mi-am creat părerea despre ea. Pe cea de la L'Oréal am cumpărat-o de curând, am folosit-o doar de vreo 4 ori, dar m-a convins de la prima utilizare. Să trecem la comparație:

Which works better?

I've used them separately and I've simultaneously on different parts of my face and I had to extra rub my eyes with the Bioderma Sensibio H2O, so the L'Oréal Sublime Soft seems to get the makeup off more quickly.

Care este mai eficientă?

Le-am folosit și separat dar și simultan, fiecare pe o jumătate a feței și mi s-a părut că apa micelară de la L'Oréal curăță mai rapid. Cel puțin rimelul s-a curățat foarte repede și nu a trebuit să insist în zona ochilor, cum am făcut în cazul Biodermei H2O.

How did my skin feel after using them?

Both worked good for me in spite me having combination skin , but I had to rinse my face every time after using Bioderma because it left my skin rather sticky. I know it says it is non rise, but I couldn't sleep with that feel.

L'Oréal Sublime Soft didn't leave my skin as sticky and I did not feel the need to rinse my face. I'm very lazy, so not having to rinse my face after it's a big plus.

Cum era tenul meu după utilizare?

Deși am tenul mixt, ambele s-au comportat bine pe tenul meu. Bioderma Sensibio H2O mi-a lăsat fața cam lipicioasă, așa că trebuia să mă clătesc ca să scap de acea senzație, situație pe care nu am întâlnit-o cu apa micelară de la L'Oréal.

Fragrance free?

I know both are fragrance free, but I can definitely feel something when I used Bioderma Sensibio H2O. It's a very subtle scent, but I'm not very fond of it. With L'Oréal Sublime Soft I can't really sniff a thing, but I'm not a dog, so who knows?

Fără miros?

Chiar dacă ambele sunt fără parfum, la Bioderma Sensibio H2O pot detecta un miros foarte subtil, ușor medicamentos. În schimb, apa micelară de la L'Oréal chiar se comportă ca o apă, fără miros.

More differences?

Yes, a major difference for me. As I said earlier, I'm very lazy, especially at night time, I'm too tired to take my makeup off with different products for my face, eyes and lips, rinse my face, tone, and moisturize. I love the idea of all-in one products, but Bioderma Sensibio H2O is not intended for lips like L'Oréal Sublime Soft Micellar Water is. I can't avoid my lips when cleansing with Bioderma, it's like water, so I would always get it on my lips. The horror... Bioderma tastes awful, at first I didn't know what caused that awful taste, I thought I had a problem with my teeth. I soon realized it was the micellar water, and I stopped using it anywhere around my mouth and I had to rinse my face very carefully to avoid the horror of waking up with that taste. I did notice very late that it isn't intended for lips, I thought if it is safe for sensitive eyes, it must be good for lips. No, this is not the case.

L'Oréal Sublime Soft Micellar Water is intended for face, eyes and lips. So, it's perfect for me. I don't detect any taste, smell, so it's really like water.

Alte diferențe?

Cea mai mare diferență între cele două este că Bioderma Sensibio H2O nu este și pentru buze. Cum eu sunt leneșă, prefer să folosesc un produs care să curețe tot în cale. Bioderma Sensibio H20 îmi lăsa un gust oribil până să descopăr că nu este și pentru buze. M-am gândit că dacă este suficient de blândă pentru ochii sensibili, poate curăța și buzele, dar nu este cazul. L'Oréal Sublime Soft Micellar Water este specială pentru buze, nu are niciun gust, așa că este perfectă pentru mine.

How's the packaging?

Bioderma Sensibio H2O has a sturdy, very nice packaging, with a cap that shuts close, it traveled with me and I had no problems. The packaging of the L'Oréal micellar water is very flimsy, it doesn't close properly, so I wouldn't trust taking it with me. I plan on decanting it into the Bioderma bottle, as soon as I empty it.

Cum este ambalajul?

Ambalajul Biodermei H2O este mai bine lucrat, se închide ermetic și am luat sticla de multe ori cu mine în călătorii și nu am avut probleme să se verse. În schimb, capacul apei micelare de la L'Oréal nu se închide foarte bine, curge și cam mult produs prin orificiu, așa că plănuiesc să torn produsul în sticla Biodermei după ce o utilizez.

Price and availability?

You can buy Bioderma Sensibio H2O only in pharmacies and you can find L'Oréal Sublime Soft in supermarkets. I have go a longer way to get the L'Oréal one, but I'm not that lazy (my street has a ton of pharmacies).

Bioderma Sensibio H20 is priced between 40-50 Lei for 250 ml and L'Oréal Sublime Soft Micellar Water between 18-25 lei for 200 ml. I got 2 bottles of Bioderma Sensibio H2O for 50 lei, so the price is close in this case, but I wouldn't pay full price for Bioderma, it's double.

Eu am găsit oferta la Sensiblu cu două sticle de Bioderma la prețul uneia, deci dacă vreți să o cumpărați, așteptați oferta, nu se merită altfel.

Conclusion

Bioderma Sensibio H2O is recommended by doctors for many skin problems, but I don't really have problems, I just want a all-in-one makeup remover and I think L'Oréal Sublime Soft Micellar Water is perfect for me. If you have problematic skin I would say to go with the Bioderma one, because I don't know if the L'Oréal one works well for this kind of skin, but if you're like me, I totally recommend you to try L'Oréal Sublime Soft Micellar Water.

Concluzie?

Bioderma Sensibio H2O este recomandată de doctori pentru pielea cu probleme, curățând foarte blând tenul, însă eu nu am tenul cu probleme, așa că L'Oréal Sublime Soft este pefectă pentru mine și o recomand celor care doresc o curățare rapidă a tenului.

What I've been up to #3

Bună! Azi o să povestesc ce am facut eu în ultima vreme. Sâmbătă m-am întors de la Băile Olănești, unde am fost cu părinții și iubitul. A fost o săptămână minunată, foarte relaxantă, și recomand această stațiune dacă vreți să vă deconectați. A fost a treia oară când am fost aici și cu siguranță nu va fi ultima.

Stațiunea este destul de aglomerată mai ales la sfârșitul săptămânii (noi am prins și zilele Olăneștiului), dar mereu este multă lume care vine pentru izvoarele cu ape minerale.

Hello! Today I will tell you what I've been up to for the last week. Saturday I returned from a trip to Băile Olănești I took with my parents and boyfriend. It was a wonderful week, very relaxing and I definitely recommend this resort if you want to get away from all your problems. I went there 3 times and surely I will return. This resort is known mostly for its mineral water and springs.

Am ajuns pe 14 iulie la prânz și imediat după ce ne-am cazat la Pensiunea Rubin am pornit într-o plimbare să ne revenim după drumul lung de 5 ore. Pensiunea mi-a plăcut, am mai fost cazați aici cu 2 ani în urmă. Prețuri bune, camere mari, spațioase, curate.

We stayed at Rubin, a lovely place with clean, big rooms. We didn't like the food from the restaurants we went to in the first days but we finally found an amazing place, Cascada Restaurant and Self-service. The food was amazing, it wasn't crowded, the view was great and the music awesome.

Am mâncat prima masă la Rubin, însă nu a fost pe placul nostru și nu am mai revenit. A fost o mare problemă cu mesele în primele zile, restaurante erau la tot pasul, însă mâncarea lăsa serios de dorit pentru prețul cerut. Pe lângă asta, peste orice fel de mâncare se punea o tonă de pătrunjel crud pe care eu nu-l suport.

De abia în a treia zi am descoperit un local cu mâncare extraordinară, Restaurant și Autoservire Cascada. Noi am mâncat în fiecare zi la autoservire și mâncarea a fost foarte bună. Nu era foarte aglomerat, priveliștea era superbă și muzica bună.

Într-o dimineață am servit și micul dejun aici și a fost delicios și mi-a ținut și de foame, în mod surprinzător.

În alte dimineți ne-am luat câte o brânzoaică de la patiserie, un latte machiatto și stateam și am mâncam în parc.

One morning we ate breakfast at Cascada and it was very nice. In the rest of the morning we ate pastries and drank latte machiatto in the park.

Recomand gogoșile care se vând aproape de parc, sunt 50 de bani și sunt replica celebrelor gogoși americane, donuts. Bineînțeles că ne-am luat și au fost delicioase.

Every day we got donuts and they were amazing and very cheap, it was always crowded there.

Lacul cu nuferi este preferatul meu, rațuștele se plimbă pe lac și broscuțele stau la bronzat pe frunzele de nuferi.

This resort has an amazing lake with watter lillies, we saw many frogs and ducks and it was lovely.

Prietenul meu a fost cel mai fericit om pentru că toata stațiunea era plină de căței prietenoși. I-am făcut peste 400 de poze cu cațeii. Nici eu nu am fost mai prejos, găsind două pisicuțe superbe și fotogenice.

My boyfriend loves dog so he was more than happy when he met many friendly and cute ones. I also found two cat's so I can't complain.

Cățelușa aceasta o știu de ultima oară când am fost, este tare blândă, dă lăbuța, se trântește pe spate și se alintă.

I remember this dog from the last time I went there because she would shake hands with me and be very cute.

Într-o zi prietenul meu mi-a cules flori și au rezistat până am plecat.

One day my boyfriend picked flowers for me. How cute!

Olăneștiul are două parcuri superbe, cel mai mic este extraordinar, am fost fix după ce plouase și ne-am jucat cu o cățelusă tare simpatică.

Olănești has two amazing parks, the small one is amazing, we went right after it stopped raining and we played with a very cute dog.

În altă zi am fost la un sanatoriu unde ne-am plimbat, am admirat natura, am râs de un câine care a adormit în cea mai haioasă poziție și am completat integrame.

Other day, we went at a sanatorium and we enjoyed the nature, made fun of a dog which fell asleep in the most funny position and filled crosswords.

În altă zi am fost la Căciulata, o stațiune mult mai liniștită decât Olănești în care am stat într-o vară 10 zile și ne-am cam plictisit. În schimb, Oltul se vede superb și apusurile sunt extraordinare.

We went toward the end of our trip to Căciulata, a much quieter resort with amazing views and sunsets.

Cum am ajuns, am fost să mâncam la Carul cu Bere. A fost singurul loc în care am gasit și eu să mănânc o salată care să nu fie de murături. A fost tare plăcut, mâncarea bună și chelnerul foarte amabil și profesionist.
Right after we arrived, we went to Carul cu Bere to eat and I had a salad. It was very nice, the staff was amazing and we had a good time.

După, ne-am mai plimbat pe malul Oltului, am facut poze și apoi am pornit spre Mănăstirea Cozia. Am mai văzut-o de vreo 4 ori, grădina este superbă și îngrijită chiar de călugării de acolo.

Then, we walked on the banks of Olt, took pictures and went to Cozia Monastery. There we saw the most amazing garden, with beautiful flowers.

O altă zi ne-am petrecut-o în adâncul pădurii, lângă râu, un loc pe care l-am descoperit prima oară când am fost la Olănești. Ne-am bucurat de sunetul apei curgând, de aerul foarte curat și am completat integrame.

We spent a whole day in the woods, near a river, in a place we discovered the first time we went there. We relaxed, listened to the river and filled crosswords.

Prima oară când am fost aici, cel mai tare m-au impresionat licuricii pe care puteai să-i zărești de îndată ce se însera. Tot drumul spre izvoare era luminat de aceste creaturi extraordinare și toata lumea se plimba admirându-i. Acum 2 ani, când am revenit în stațiune, nu am mai găsit licurici și m-am întristat foarte tare, parcă își pierduse puțin din farmec stațiunea. Am crezut că au dispărut, dar anul acesta, plimbându-mă seara pe afară, am descoperit un licurici, și apoi încă unul. În ziua următoare am stat până ne-a apucat noaptea la ultimul izvor și la întoarcere ne-am minunat de sutele de luminițe ce se zăreau printre copaci. A fost punctul culminant al excursiei și este voi rămâne cu această imagine superbă în minte mereu. Tare mi-aș fi dorit să mă pricep să-i fotografiez, dar tot ce se vede este lumina foarte puternică.

I was absolutely thrilled to find fireflies, because I though I wouldn't see them again. The forest was illuminated by these amazing creatures and it was the most beautiful sight I have ever seen.

Olănești este o stațiune superbă și voi reveni mereu cu drag. În ultima zi am fost foarte tristă că trebuie să plecăm, însă m-am înveselit puțin gândindu-mă că peste o săpămână plecăm în Grecia.

Olănești is an amazing resort that I recommend to anybody who wants to get away from their problems and enjoy nature.

Din Olănești am luat ca suvenir o căprioară tare simpatică și deja am așezat-o la loc de cinste.

Ajunși acasă, am fost întâmpinați de o curte plină cu pisici și un cățel ce statea lățit la umbră.

Home, we found waiting for us many cats and a dog.

Pentru a termina săptămâna într-un mod cât mai frumos, am mers aseară în parc, am mâncat floricele și înghețată și am admirat rățuștele care se plimbau pe lac.

Yesteday evening we went to the park, had popcorn and ice cream and watched the ducks as they were swimming on the lake.

Hello! I will soon go on a trip to Greece and I thought it would be useful to show you what I will take with me when I'll go to the beach, or hang out around the pool.

Of course, if there's a pool or if I'm at the sea side I must take a swim. I love to just sit in the water until I look like a lizard.

I choose a bright pink, almost red bathing suit with a cute bow on the front. I love it and I can't wait to wear it! It was from Jolidon, and I payed 100 Lei for it. I always get my bathing suits from there because I wasn't disappointed in any of them and furthermore, they have really cute styles.

My flip flops are very simple, plain and cheap ones from Carrefour. I searched for ages for a specific model I spotted in a magazine, but I couldn't find any so I decided to get these because I don't wear flip flops except when I'm going to the beach or the pool, so why should I spend more money for something I will not wear that often? They are very comfortable and I will not sob if they get ruined because of walking in the sand, as they were so cheap.

The most important when going out in the sun is sun lotion. For the moment I have Gerovital Sun suncare lotion with spf 30 and anti-aging face cream with spf 50 to use until I get the one I want. These are great, they're not sticky, they sink into the skin quickly and prevent premature skin aging. I plan on getting a tan accelerating sun lotion or oil spray with spf 30 or 50 to get a deeper tan.

Lips need protection too and I have the Nivea lip balm with spf 30. I haven't tried it and I'm curious if it's really waterproof and non-sticky.

I don't really wear sunglasses when I'm outside because I always forget them , but when I'm at the beach, I seem to remember them and never leave them behind. Mine are from Greece, from the last trip I took there almost 5 years ago.

In the summer, mosquitoes seem to fall in love with me and leave my legs all red and swollen, and in Greece not only the mosquitoes like me...So I bought a mosquito repellent from Autan and I hope those little buggers will stay away!

A new amazing find is the Bourjois waterproof antiperspirant that lasts for 72 hours. I love the smell of it and it's not making me sick, like other spray deodorants do.

When I'm in summer vacation I'm in the mood for reading and when I'm staying on a sunbed, hearing the waves of the sea, I feel so relaxed and love to read. I always have some magazines to read when I'm sun bathing, but I'm so excited to read the book I got from my boyfriend for my birthday: Sins of the House of Borgia, because I loved the show and I was sooo upset when they cancelled it. I want to know the whole story!

I wouldn't forget the hat, as I'm very afraid of heatstroke and I'm sensitive and get nauseous quickly if i'm in the sun for longer periods of time. I got my cute hat from Carrefour and it was cheap.

And, of course, I have to carry all of this with me to the beach, so I chose a bag with a cute print on it from PAMI. It's big, cute, cheap and perfect.

If you like listening to music, don't forget to bring your ipod, phone or tablet. I prefer to really relax by listening to the waves but I can't guarantee I will not take my tablet to play The Simpsons. I'm addicted!

And don't forget to bring a cute towel, mine is pink (of course) and is in the washing machine.

What I've been up to #2

Hello! This was an exciting week because it was my birthday so I thought I would share with you the highlights of my week.

Sunday was my father’s birthday, Tuesday was mine and Friday was my mother’s. So we really celebrated our family this week.

Monday was more of a laid back day, we mostly relaxed, we had to refill our batteries after my father's birthday to be prepared for my birthday!

The next morning we got up early because I was just too excited to sleep. We went out for a coffee and just chilled. It was shadowy and cool at the coffee shop, and my coffee was cold and delicious, so I really enjoyed my start of the day.

This is what I wore for the first part of the day. I wore a Lipsy yellow dress, some ballet flats and my purse.

In the afternoon, we went with my parents to celebrate properly to a very nice restaurant with delicious food and cute kittens running around.

Me and my parents had chicken with sauce and polenta and my boyfriend had Moldavian Tochitură. I also had lemon beer and grapefruit beer.

After this, we went shopping to DM and bought a few things, and then we had a little photo shoot and I must say my boyfriend took some amazing photographs as I was waiting for some friends.

I wore a very delicate soft coral dress, some gold shoes from Zara I also wore for my 18^th birthday and a light blue Accessorize purse.

We went with our friends to a nice place and had a great time talking with them and playing with some cute kittens. I had a decaf coffee.

Wednesday I went shopping with my mother and my boyfriend and I found some amazing things. Also, at midnight we went at a coffee shop and enjoyed a very delicious apple tea and got bitten by tons of mosquitoes.

Thursday we search for a present for my mother and purchased some seaside necessities I will show you in a next post. Later, we then had to cool off so we went at the same coffee shop we went the other night and had some cold beer.

Friday, my mother had a day off from work, so we watched some crime shows on CBS reality and then we went to the same restaurant we went to for my birthday. I found the cute kitty I met last time and took a dozen photos.

I ate some chicken with mashed potatoes, a green salad with lemon and had a grapefruit beer. My mom had some broccoli cream soup (ah-mazing!) and some chicken with some peasant potatoes that looked amazing. My boyfriend had a coffee and some peasant chicken with polenta.

I wore a blue dress, a white belt, an Accessorize necklace, some sandals and my new bag.

Saturday I traveled to Bucharest and Sunday I went on a trip with my boyfriend and parents. I will tell you about in a post when I get back.

What I've bought lately

Hello! Today I want to show you what I bought lately. All of these were impulse buys. I just couldn't resist!

I wanted to buy the Alverde self tanner (thanks to the review by Aurora Toma), I had a 10% discount coupon, so I went to DM with the intention to get just that. There, of course, I couldn't just put the Alverde tanner in my shopping cart and leave, I had to see all the new things! I saw for the first time the Maybelline Color Whispers, but I decided to wait for a better deal. The Alverde lotion was 21.49 Lei.

As I was looking around, I saw the new L'Oreal Micellar Cleansing Water at a great price (18 Lei). I heard that it is very similar to the Bioderma Sensibilio H2O I love, so I had to buy it.

I couldn't stop from looking at all the shelves and I saw another offer: if you bought one shower gel from AVER, the second one was free (Price: 10 Lei). I'm fascinated by these! They are Romanian products and have Cotnari wine and Biborțeni water. I kept one for myself and have given the other as a present to my mother for her birthday. I tried the Aqua Relax one enriched with wine and I must say it is rather nice. It lathers beautifully, and just a few drops go a long way. They both smell nice and I really like the idea. The offer for these shower gels continues until Sunday, 14 of July. Also, with every purchase you get a 10% discount coupon to use for your next purchase until the end of the month.

A few days later, I went to Carrefour and I bought a new face wash: Elmiplant Skin Moisture cleansing gel with quince extract for normal/combination skin. It doesn't contain soap, and it is paraben, parafin and colorant free. I can't wait to try it! (Price: 11.40 Lei)

Also, I saw the Maybelline ColorSensational Color Whispers and I couldn't wait any longer, so I bought the shade Mad for Magenta. I paid 29 Lei.

I was trying to find some flip flops for my upcoming trips to Greece and Olănești, so I went to Deichmann but I didn't find any I liked. As I was leaving, I saw the cutest postman style bag in a not too pink, creamy shade. I fell in love with it and I had to have it! I have been wearing it non stop since, and I love it so much. It fits my tablet perfectly, so I can don't have to carry ugly bags anymore just because they fit my tablet. It's from Edel&Stark and it was 70 Lei.

Then, we went to C&A and my boyfriend got the most amazing hoodie, it's very soft and in a beautiful green color. I have a feeling I will steal it very often from him :) While I was waiting by the cash register I started looking at the SIX jewelry and this ring immediately caught my attention. This will be my favorite ring to wear this summer!

I am really excited about what I bought. I really enjoy an impulse buy once in a while. When I read many reviews and I know exactly what I want, the joy isn't as big as it is when I discover amazing things and just fall in love.

APIVITA Pink Rose lip balm review

Hello! Today I want to review a lip balm by APIVITA, a Greek brand known for using up to 100% natural ingredients.

The one I have is the one with Pink Rose and I must say this is my third tube, because it is my favorite lip balm. I found it when I was paying for something at the pharmacy and there were many lip balms next to the cash register that caught my attention. I decided to get the Pomegranate one because I thought it would give my lips a nice color. After I got home I realized I got the wrong lip balm and I took by mistake the one I wanted the least, the one that smelt like roses. I'm not a big fan of rose scented cosmetics because I find them smelling very artificial. But I soon found this one to be my favorite lip balm.

It moisturizes amazingly, my lips feel soft and moist and not at all sticky after using it. It acts like a scrub when I have cracked and dry lips, I use it and rub my lips to get rid of the dead skin cells and my lips become soft like a baby's bum.

It gives a soft shine and a very pale rose color and many times I wear it alone. I often wear it under Maybelline ColorSensational Shine in shade Juicy Bubblegum because the lipstick glides beautifully, fades evenly and gives a more vibrant rosy color.

The smell is absolutely amazing, it smells like true roses, those that make delicious jam. When I apply it, many times people comment on how sweet and amazing it smells.

It has many good ingredients like organic beeswax, olive oil, cocoa butter, shea butter, avocado oil, castor oil, jojoba esters and rose oil. Also it is free of paraben, mineral oil and silicone.

The packaging is sturdy, the cap stays in its place and doesn't get lost in my purse.

The APIVITA Pink Rose lip balm is the only lip balm I have ever tried that really repairs my lips and keeps them soft.

It comes in 4.4 g for a price of 4.95 € / 7 $ / 19 Lei and can be purchased at www.apivita.com. I got mine from Sensiblu.

What I've been up to

Hello! This week I finally felt like I was in vacation, although I've finished my exams some time ago. To really start my vacation I went home, and from there I took a 3 day trip to Slănic Moldova with my parents. This resort is a very loved one in our family, we went there well over 10 times. It was very relaxing and the weather was cool, a real break from the immense heat I felt in the city. There, I ate amazing food, took long walks and just relaxed. I also reconnected with a good friend of mine I met when I came to Slănic in Easter vacation: the cutest kitten ever!

In the following week I went crazy with shopping, I bought something everyday. I bought 7 dresses. Yes, 7! At least now I can't complain I don't have anything to wear. Dresses are perfect for summer, so easy to wear and cute.

My weakness in the summer is ice cream, especially chocolate covered vanilla ice cream, so I ate at least one ice cream every day. I found the cutest ice creams in Kaufland: baby ice cream, perfect to satisfy my crave and not become a hippo.

This past weekend my hometown was celebrated for its 151 years of existence with food, beer and music. I went every night and remembered who much I loved going as a kid, I would dance and buy from the merchants bracelets, toys and other stuff that was fascinating to me at the time.

Two nights ago I went out with some friends and drank the most amazing smelling tea: it smelt like creamy, delicious strawberry milkshake. When we went to other pub I found a very cute kitty and fell asleep in my arms. That night the weather was awful, it was pouring rain and at the pub the floor flooded with so much rain. I wore a floral dress in contrast with the weather.

Yesterday was my father's birthday so I went with my family and boyfriend to celebrate at an amazing restaurant. We stood at the terrace and we were lucky that we weren't blown away by a storm. I ate Lasagna with Ragu sauce, for dessert I had a caramelized nuts cake and drank a lemonade beer. My bf had seafood pasta and it looked amazing. I wore a floral dress I bought when I went shopping and bright coral accessories. I also met two lovely cats!

What's in my makeup bag

Hello! Today I want to show you what's in my makeup bag and what I use in a day to day basis. I am currently in vacation at my parents, so this is the makeup I decided to take with me to use for about a month. I used to carry my makeup and skincare in the same place but I thought I should have a bag just for makeup to keep it tidy. I currently have a striped makeup bag that doesn't get dirty easily, so it's perfect for makeup. What's in my makeup bag?

Face:

At the moment I am using Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum mixed with Garnier BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector and I'm applying it with the ELF Powder Brush (great for foundation). The Healthy mix clings to my dry areas and the Garnier BB Cream makes me look oily (and I have a normal to combination skin) so I mix the two to achieve a dewy finish. For concealer I use Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer (I love how creamy it is but it sets in my fine lines), sometimes I use the Benefit Moon Beam Luminizer, and for powder I apply Bourjois Healthy Balance Powder with Jade Powder Brush. I then apply a blush (The Body Shop Shimmer Waves in Blush or Rimmel Blush in Coral ) with the Avon Blush Brush.

Eyes:

For my eyes I use ELF Eyelid Primer, then some eyeshadow from the Sleek Monaco Palette and/or Sleek The Original Palette using the Essence eyeshadow brush, Essence smokey eyes brush and Sephora rounded crease brush. For eyeliner I use Oriflame Eye liner stylo in black and for mascara I use Maybelline The Colossal Volum Express in 100% black. When I want to do a more intense smokey eye I use Avon Supershock gel eyeliner in black. My lash curlers I use are also from Maybelline. I fill in my eyebrows with Miss Sporty Eye Brow pencil in shade 001 black.

Lips:

On my lips I usually wear my beloved Apivita lip balm and if I want some color I wear over it Maybelline ColorSensational Shine in shade 140 Juicy Bubblegum (my favorite) or Maybelline ColorSensational Vivids in shade 910 Shocking Coral.

Today I am going to show you my nails of the day. I am very impressed with this combination of nail polishes, these photos were taken after almost 6 days of wearing! I must say I don't like to paint my nails very often because I can't stand the smell of nail polish, but I love to have my nails always painted. So this combination is perfect for what I want!
