Awsome New Band-The Roofer's Union

Hello Everyone!

Today I wanted to introduce this awesome new band called The Roofer's Union.

This band is made up of college students in New York City. One of band members being my brother.
So Today I am reaching out to you all about voting for them in the contest.

The Contest is JanSport Battle of the Bands 2014.

The top 10 bands will be finalist and be reviewed by JanSport.

From there they can go to Austen and play at the "Sonicbids Official SXSW Party".

Hello everyone,

I want to take the time today to introduce you to my Pinterest.

I have had my Pinterest for several years now, and it occurred to me that I have not introduced you to it.
I have become quite picky with the images that I chose to use for my Pinterest, picking the most interesting photography.

Here is my first board labeled la mode, which means clothing in french.

This board is very classy. It presents it self with clothing off the streets, to what is trending.

This board will change with the season, always being up to date.

Also "la mode" board does not just have clothing ideas but as well as accessories and shoes.

The Power Of The Pink Tutu

The man in the pink tutu:

The Tutu Project is a project that supports and funds raises for the Carey Foundation and women with breast cancer.

The story of this couple is wonderful and how when Linda was diagnosed with breast cancer, Bob went out in a pink tutu to share the story of his wife.

The photos were then shared with his wife Linda and other women battling breast cancer.

It's a New Year

Cheers everyone to the start of 2014 !

Here is an update on what to expect this new year.

We will look into the runway and fashion trends of this upcoming spring.

There will be tutorials on hair styles, makeup, everyday looks, and even some easy craft tutorials.

Bundle up

Bundle up because it is getting cold, on this winter day.

Fall has left and winter is in full swing.

It is sometimes hard to look cute when you are trying to keep warm. So here are my tips to you.

1. Pick a cute scarf and a pair of gloves

2. There are cute warm winter coats, so chose one that complements your skin tone.

3. Pick a nice pare of snow boots, or rain boots with sock inserts

4. Find a hat that covers your ears that you like. Most of your body heat is lost through your head

5. Try not to worry too much on how you look, just try to stay warm.

Burt's Bees Lip Gloss

Recently I purchased Burt's Bees new lip gloss, after hearing about from my mom.

It is glossy, but not too sticky, like lip gloss can sometimes be.

Burt's Bees lip gloss come in 12 shades and costs $9.00 and can be purchased at Walgreens, Target, and http://www.burtsbees.com/.
I know that is pricey for lip gloss, but it is truly worth it.

The 2 shades I bought were Rosy Dawn (which is a light pink) and Starry Night (which is a plum burgundy).

My favorite so far has been the Starry Night. I have fallen in love with the dark lip color since the clothing I wear has a plum tones.

On another note, from the last post that was posted a few days ago, the over sized sweater is almost done. So keep checking back.

This guide is great. It uses the fall trending colors and makes a little guide to show how to

wear this shoe in three different styles. This shoe is a feminine twist from a menswear shoe.

This leather teal blue shoe is absolutely fantastic. This shoes is so fun, different, and is an

oxford high heel. I can't wait to get my hands on these shoes.

This is a simple blue leather heel boot. This book is classy. I like the elastic on the side,

reminding me of a horseback riding boot. I think that his is a great simple shoe that can

be worn with many different outfits.

Here is another example of a simple leather boot. This boot is a little different than the

boot shown above. This boot does not have the elastic and has a darker heel.

Here is a black leather boot. It has taken a mens shoes and changed it into a feminine

heel. I think it's a great looking shoe.

I love the shoes that is in the front. I love the think heel, as well as the gold that outlines

the green fabric. I also like how it has a rounded toe in the front. I am not a huge fan of the

shoe in the back. That is just my opinion. I don't like how the shoe in the back has a

shorter heel. The color of the heel in the back is really interesting and I like that.

This fall, the runway shows have been fantastic. I love the styles and colors that the designers have chosen. I have chosen to show you some of my favorites.

The looks I have chosen are in no particular order, but are just for you to enjoy.

Marchesa Fall 2013

This look is one of my favorites that I have posted. I really enjoy the long dress with the

sheer tight. But what I enjoy the most is the gold design on the front of the dress. It is also

hard to see, but there are pockets, which makes me happy because who do not like

pockets?

Marchesa Fall 2013

This dress is really awesome. It has this cool corset top with a sheer fabric top the covers

its. The top has a great black collar and a puffy sleeve, that I have not seen before. The

skirt give this look an interesting twist, which I enjoy also.

Alexander McQueen Fall 2013

Alexander McQueen is an inspiration to me. Even though he passed away and Sarah

Burton took over, the clothing that is designed is fantastic. This look is so different that I

just love it. It is a great looking dress with really neat sleeves. The head piece adds

character and a victorian feel to the outfit.

Marchesa Fall 2013

This dress is so flattering. It is a great fit and flair, with some gold embellishment on the

side. I also like the draping that is done on this dress. What gives this dress the "wow"

factor is he toile fabric. I am not usually a fan of toile, but it was used the right way to

make it have a bigger skirt at the bottom.

Valentino Fall 2013

I am in love with this Valentino dress. I love this short dress with long sleeves. This fabric

the the dress is a cool color and a really need design. I also like the shoes, and the hair

style chosen.

Prabal Gurung Fall 2013

I thought that this look was really interesting. Peplum is trending this fall. I thought this

look was a great example of how to wear it. I also like the hunter green fabric and the

leather belt harness. The pants are a really great fit on this model. I think they would look

great on lots of people.

Prabal Gurung Fall 2013

I chose this dress as one of my favorites, because I am in love with this color. The

midnight blue color is such a great color on different kinds of skin tons, which makes the

dress want to be worn by different people. Again the black leather accessory is a

really neat add on too.

Prabal Gurung Fall 2013

This look is similar to the other peplum top. It is done by the same designer. But why I

chose this, was that I enjoyed the fade in and out of the red flowers.

Moschino Fall 2013

This last look I chose is so different from everything else. Both looks are feminine, but

they take the looks of menswear attire. I enjoy the patterns and the matching shoes. The

color is great and I like how the models hair are orange as well as the outfits.

Hair style for fall

This look is simple, and is easy todo. Below I came across a tutorial on how to complete this hair style.

From the previous blog post, you can also where this hair style with a brown smokey eye, or even something simple. Then finnish it with a cat eye.

Do you want to dark lip?

Thinking about trends

Thinking about trends, before the season has begun

What does trendy mean? The Merriam Dictionary says that trendy is very fashionable or up to date in style or influence (Merriam Dictionary).

During every season there is a color pallet that is trending. For the 2013 fall fashion season, the colors are burgundy, midnight blue, and a dark purple. These vivid colors are elegant and chic.

I have chosen an outfit that I would personally wear to the left. This look is stunning. Having all the fall colors incorporated. I think it is a great example of casual wear for this season.

People have ask, how I know what to wear before the season has even started.

Looking at collections designers have published, there are colors and styles that are similar to one another. These trends will start to repeat in different ways, but this allows me to make a prediction of the upcoming fashion styles.

From my predictions, I design, as well as put together an outfit that describes myself. This style that I have presented above, is not an outfit that I put together. It is similar to clothing I choose to wear. That being said, this outfit is not for everyone, and I understand. This is just my eye for fashion.

What is fashion? The production and marketing of new styles of goods, esp. clothing and cosmetics (The Merriam Dictionary). This is the start of The Urban Bunny Blog. The understanding of fashion from the point of view of 16 year old. This blog is my understanding of what I think fashion is about. For me, fashion is a way to express who I am as a person. I go to a school where we wear uniforms. It is not that I don't like uniforms, but it is the fact that I have to dress like everyone else. I believe in being your own person. As a high school student, I understand that being yourself is sometimes hard. Standing your ground, and being your own person is important. This allows me to enjoy fashion that much more. Fashion should also be fun. No one should worry about being to fat or even to skinny. I will explore the fashion world to unlock new fashion ideas, so everyone get ready, The Urban Bunny Blog is now beginning.
