Thanks Deb. I would definitely try those glasses out first, I wear them with Croakies because they are a bit too wide so they might shift on you shooting. However, they have many different models with the Techlite glass lenses.

Katherine – excellent and honest review of ICAST – thank you! While SHOT Show in January, also held in Vegas, was bigger than ever (and so was NRA in NC held in May) I know many of the smaller outdoor tradeshows are suffering. In the meantime I’m going to go check out the Smith sunglasses you mentioned. I don’t do the “fashion” type out at the gun range, rather I want things as crisp and clear as possible plus nothing moving around on my face as I shoot pistols, rifles and/or shotguns.

I envy the fly fishing chicks! And how nice that as a trio you gals can enjoy memories from your time spent outdoors catching fish. I think the saying is “a bad day of fishing is better then the best day at work?”

Kudos to Mary for recognizing her skill set REGARDLESS that it was considered to be a “guys club.” Kudos to for the guys at Browning that were willing to train her. And last but not least THANK YOU Steve for a great article! I sent it to my daughter, who works at Remington, as she has wanted to do more with gunsmith work.
