Independence Day, Wall E Cake, Iron Man Helmet and More [Walyou Roundup]

If you have gotten your hand on the new iPhone 3GS and want to jailbreak it, then there is the new Purplera1n from Geohot to help make that happen quickly and easily without too much technical knowledge.

This new Jailbreak version is made for the new iPhone 3G S that has the OS 3.0 on it. Based on the instructions provided, it seems pretty easy to Jailbreak the new iPhone 3G S. It goes like this:

Note: You must have a Windows computer (not the new Windows 7), have the latest iTunes installed and also have the newest OS 3.0 already on your iPhone 3GS. Also, this is a Beta version, so make sure you have all important things backed up…just in case.

1. Go download Purplera1n from its official site.

2. Connect your iPhone as you would normally for any other use.

3. Select “make it ra1n” to begin.

4. From there, it should be pretty self-explanatory. By the way, if Cydia doesn’t show up after running Freeze, reboot.

As a child I was always fascinated by super-heroes, their powers, clothes, cool accessories and everything else, and Man was I overjoyed when I happened to set my eyes on this Iron Man Motorcycle helmet. I mean could you believe it? it is like being able to live your childhood superheroes fantasies all over again!

Iron Man Motorcycle Helmet Made for Iron Men

Trust art collectors and the bunch of hallucinated souls catering to their eccentric tastes to transform an intimidating, elegant combat weapon like a Star Wars lightsaber into a harmless chunk of metal and leather! And trust them to market it as a fine Steampunk design. Despite the lack of bite, don’t be surprised if impressionable Star Wars groupies take the Graflex 3 Cell Lightsaber bait.

For one, we can’t help admitting that there aren’t conspicuous flaws in the design, thanks to some neat metal work by the creators. Buffed in steel, the solid brushed brass lightsaber has done a lot of justice to its ‘true’ cousins (the ones brandished by Skywalker and his nemesis with oodles of grace). The leather grip certainly completes the replication. No rude shocks on the nozzle front either. We were half-expecting to find a stub, but ended up finding a smooth ¾-inch blade holder. The Graflex team claims this nozzle is the origin for a steady electrosteam pulse. We are, though, not quite convinced that there could be anything but an occasional stream of dust rolling out of this oddball Steampunk lightsaber.

The Mickey Mouse TV stand is designed by Pacini Cappellini and is made out of lacquered MDF, and is the perfect thing to place your wall-mounted or flat-screen T.V sets. The whole stand is not just flashy and cute looking but also very functional at the same time,  as it has two glass shelves and a drawer below the unit. One can also use Mickey’s ears to store their favourite Cd’s or DVDs.

I myself think that it’s a pretty amazing and useful, and we can actually use the glass shelves to keep our playstation or Xbox on and use the drawer to store all our a/v equipment in.

All in all it’s just the kind of shelf you might be looking for your children’s room- cute, space efficient and very convenient.

Funky Animal Buttock Towel Holders

Most of us have grown up making nondescript shapes out of cardboard in the art class, and perhaps, it was the desire to create something eclectic, one that stands out among insipid, mundane works of juvenile creativity. Or, was it an inherent understanding that in every discarded piece of paperboard was a masterpiece waiting to be unlocked? Well, Kyle Bean, the author of ‘The Future off Books’ has no qualms admitting this rather apparent fact. With ample evidence, at that! Laptop boxes manifest into tiny lifeless cardboard laptops; while camera boxes get a shape makeover, replicating the object that they once housed. Simply amazing electronic art.

One of the most striking aspects of Kyle’s creations is the compactness in design. Each paperboard object seems to have been chiseled out of cardboard; not cut, bent and shaped into the designs that we are completely in awe of. Logic dispels doubts about the latter and this greatly magnifies the dexterity of this designer.

Kyle Bean Tech Cardboard Artwork Is Awe-inspiring!

We all know Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid, but what would he look like if he was making an appearance as a Zombie? We are lucky enough to already have an answer for that with this awesome vinyl figure of Snake as a Zombie.

Solid Snake is like the Marlboro Man of video games, so it is a great surprise to see him dressed and looking like a Zombie, which I must admit, he still maintains his bad-ass reputation and look. In this remake, the character still holds on to the famous Solid Snake Gun but seems more determined to take some innocent victims along.

The best part of this Solid Snake vinyl doll is that it is actually available for purchase for true Metal Gear Solid fans for $80. With that, you can definitely know both sides of the gun.
