We have another chance to see some of the beautiful art works produced by 2 local artists who featured in the Wanstead Art Trail in September.

Frances Cowper and Barbara Sampson invite you to join them this Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th December at 21 Sylvan Road, Wanstead, between 12pm and 8pm on each day.

We were lucky enough to have Barbara actively involved in organising this year's Art Trail and it's good to see that both Frances and Barbara are keeping the spirit of the Art Trail alive in Wanstead.

Vintage Fair - Saturday 4th December

The Love Vintage Fashion and Brocante Fair returns to Wanstead on Saturday 4th December.

Another chance to browse the stunning array of fashion, homeware and collectables, and possibly bag yourself a fabulous and unique outfit for the upcoming party season. Don't forget to pop into the Vintage Café where vintage-clad hosts will be serving up homemade treats - served on vintage china of course!

The fair will be held at Christchurch Hall from 9.30am to 4.00pm, admission is £2. Click here for further information.

Corner House Garden - volunteers needed

Now that the colder weather is drawing in, the Corner House garden is again in need of some TLC. Our guerilla gardening team will be in force over the coming weeks to prepare the garden for the cold winter months and to ensure the garden is full of beautiful blooms again come spring.

As always we are looking for some volunteers who don't mind getting their hands dirty with a bit of leaf collecting and general tidying - no gardening experience required!

Gardening sessions will take place on

Sunday 21st November at 10.30am
Tuesday 23rd November at 11.00am

Coffee and croissants will be provided for the gardeners, and it would be great to see as many of you there as possible; as we all know, "many hands make light work"!
