Ignoring the defeat they suffered in 2012, Republicans are doubling down on stupid, in direct defiance of Louisiana governor, Bobby Jindal's plea to stop doing just that. Ironically, Jindal has also failed to head his own words as his state is passing some of the dumbest laws on Earth while also electing some of the least intelligent people they can.

This year they have proposed a school voucher program that was already found to be unconstitutional (teaches Christian beliefs only), cost taxpayers money with idiotic tax breaks for rich people, closed public schools because of said idiotic tax breaks (like Chicago as well), and done everything they can to throw poor people under the bus, especially their children.

The school textbooks being promoted by the voucher program use Christianity as a base, claim the Loch Ness Monster is real (it isn't), the KKK are morally upstanding people (really?), black people can't read because commies run the government (WTF?) and Bill Clinton was elected only because the media lied about his opponent (that's not even possible). This is why our children are stupid and thank God the courts found this reprehensible as well. It also turned out that the referendum wasn't even properly ratified in the first place, only getting 51 votes and not the 53 needed, shades of the 16th amendment all over again. Jindal has stated the program will continue if lawmakers overrule the State Supreme Court's ruling, which it just might as these brainpowers have passed some really idiotic laws lately.

The state legislature recently passed a bill that would allow creationism to be taught in schools, in science classes nonetheless. To demonstrate how worthless these bozos are in critical thinking, state senator, and of Republican of course, Mike Walsworth asked a science teacher during a hearing about the matter about evolutionary experiment. When she talked about an experiment where students can watch e-coli evolve, Wadsworth asked if that experiment could evolve into a human. He actually said that, showing a complete lack of scientific knowledge that would make a six year old blush.

Not to be out done on the whole race to the bottom on abortion rights debate, their legislature have tried to pass many laws that infringe on a woman's reproductive rights, such as having a doctor present to use the morning after pill, forcing clinics to post signage that make women aware of others alternatives to abortion, criminalizing the procedure in direct violation of the Constitution and an idiotic idea to have patients Mirandized before getting the procedure done. Here's a quote from Jindal, "When officers arrest criminals today, they are read their rights. Now if we're giving criminals their basic rights and they have to be informed of those rights, it seems to me only common sense we also have to do the same thing for women before they make the choice about whether to get an abortion." Yeah no stupidity there, Jindal. One state senator, John LaBruzzo, proposed a "feticide" bill that would not only make it illegal to get an abortion, but would sentence women who have had one to 15 years hard labor. Unbelievable.

Jindal himself has become a one man party of stupid when he proposed getting rid of all income and corporate taxes and instead offered to raise sales and cigarette taxes which studies show would adversely affect poor people harder than anyone else. As a matter of fact, the Institute of Taxation and Economic policy said the measure would raise taxes by a huge amount for 80% of all people in the state. But notice the rich and corporations would have even more money which is all they are trying to do. The idea failed as no one liked it. Shocker.

And let us not forget the LGBT community, one of the few minorities left on Earth that some feel is okay to discriminate against still, which it isn't. Alan Seabaugh (R), proposed a law that prohibit gay people from obtaining any protection against workplace discrimination while punishing any who would have the balls to try.

Louisiana is not alone however. In Pennsylvania recently, the Governor Tom Corbett explained why his state is 49th in job creation. "Many employers say, "We're looking for people, but we can't find anyone that has passed a drug test." Nevermind the fact that 90% of these tests find traces of pot which can last in the system for months after use, but as drugs go,are far less harmful than cigarettes or alcohol, especially on health or workplace productivity. Corbett's approval rating is down to 38% in surprise to no one.

Then there is Steve Stockman (R-TX) whose election campaign had this bumper sticker "If babies had guns, they wouldn't be aborted." That's too stupid to even comment on. Louie Gohmert is another real winner here when he recently told a House subcommittee that Al Qaeda had set up radical Islamist camps on the the Mexican side of the border. He claimed the Mexican drug gangs are teaching Muslim radicals how to cross the border and how to act like Mexicans. Nevermind the fact that there is zero proof for any of this.

The worst of the bunch is Eric Cantor who can't be voted out of office soon enough. Anyone still voting for this moron has to immediately register with the Nazi party and wear the outfit 24/7 because if your going to vote for fascism, at least have the decency to wear the uniform.

This ass recently tried to pass a bill that would eliminate overtime for millions of people, like any of us are getting paid enough as it is. In the bill, "comp time" would be replacing overtime pay that could be used to take days off. Now this might not be such a bad idea except nowhere in the bill does it say your boss has to give you the time off you want of even any time at all. The boss could claim he needs you to work overtime for the next year and you can use your comp time sometime after. You know that tomorrow that never arrives. This bill could force people to work many many hours with no payoff whatsoever echoing forced slavery.This is yet another attempt by the fascist right to destroy everything FDR put into place.

While all this is going on are two really scary stories that no one is talking about. The first has to do with the FBI or Fucking Bunch of Idiots, whose story about the death of a Russian, Ibragim Todashev 27, is already leaking holes. As I have said the past, I really dislike the FBI as their investigative skills constantly run somewhere between Inspector Closueau, Johnny English and a brain damaged, spastic monkey. Supposedly while questioning this man late last night about the murder of three MA men in a drug deal gone bad (and possibly connected to the dead Boston Bomber) and about to confess, he grabbed a kitchen knife and the agents had to protect themselves. First, if he had a knife, why shoot to kill? It's not like a knife has bullets. And why such a late visit as it supposedly happened around midnight? Officials have already back tracked off the story and have had no further word on what really happened. As the FBI is notorious for killing innocent people, I suspect this story is vastly different than what they are telling us.

And then there is this story about a mysterious virus that killed two people in Alabama. The fact that tests show one of the victims had H1N1 in his system and, possibly, a new strain AH3. The two deaths were both healthy people in their thirties signifying a possible outbreak threat. The flu that swept the world in 1918 killed up to 30% of the world's population. Imagine what a flu like that would be like now. Worse, it is only a matter of time before it does happen again and it may be rearing it's ugly head now. Deaths from a new strain have killed 130 in China but so far, we haven't seen an outbreak yet and this Alabama strain may be nothing. What bothers doctors is that flu season is over and young people don't usually die from any strain of the flu. Of the twelve infected, two died, five more admitted to the hospital and the rest sent home. This is troubling and bears further watching. Just like the Republican party.

IQ RATES DROPPING WORLD WIDE. REPUBLICANS PROVE SLIDE ACROSS ALL RACIAL LINES.

Many years ago a book came out called the Bell Curve that pissed a lot of people off. In it, the authors used meticulous research to show that depending on your race, your IQ may be lower than another's, regardless of social status. Blacks and Hispanics scored lowest, whites in the middle and Asians the highest. Is that really so surprising? Many called the book a racist bit of nonsense that echoed Hitler. It also was true.

Now let me make this clear before some of you out there start calling me names as well. I am not saying that any individual cannot be smart, regardless of race. Neil Degrasse Tyson is black and brilliant, as are many, many others who are black or Hispanic, and vice versa, there are some truly stupid white and Asians out there. What the study does show is that if you are black or Hispanic, you may have to try harder than your Asian or white counterparts. Now what the Bell Curve hypothesized was that these IQ numbers where completely biological in nature, thus the social status part. I would disagree with that as culture does play a part, especially when a lot of black culture today seems to focus on not being seen as white, or in this case "smart." When intelligence is linked to "acting white" you have a serious problem on your hands.

However, the biological nature cannot be totally ruled out, especially blacks who are descendants from slaves. Slaves were bred for being stronger and faster, not smarter. Thus, it stands to reason that their offspring would have the same traits and intelligence would not by one of the genetic markers. Again, this doesn't mean all descendants of slaves will be less intelligent, but a majority will be. That is how genetics work.

Recently, this has come up again after Harvard Professor Jason Richwine was fired for his paper on why Hispanics have lower IQ's than whites. Richwine had read Charles's Murray's The Bell Curve, which I hate to break it to everyone, is well researched and just comes up with a conclusion many wish wasn't true, and decided to see if anything had changed decades later. Turns out, he got the same facts. Just because you don't like the result doesn't mean you ignore them. That is what the Tea Party does.

Now many have criticized the work, which I admit I have not read (unlike the Bell Curve which I read in college), and they point out flaws in his linking various Hispanic groups, but depending on how these groups are linked, this may be nothing more than nitpcking to change the results. Many also did the same to the Bell Curve which was anything but flawed, except in the fact that they felt genetics was the whole shebang, something I disagreed then and now. But just because your theory is wrong, doesn't mean the facts of the case are as well.

Another study on IQ tests show that environmental factors play a huge role in IQ. Tests done on twins raised in different status levels show poor environments produce lower IQ rates than those raised in higher ones. But again, in a larger pool across all racial and economic factors, blacks and Hispanics test lower than whites and whites test lower than Asians. But I firmly believe that BOTH environment and genetics play a part in lower IQ rather than just one or the other. Let us look at the facts in this. Blacks and Hispanics are more likely than whites to be poor and whites are more likely to be poor than Asians. There are not a whole lot of projects populated by gangs of poor Asians out there.

The most disturbing thing about all this isn't the results but the facts that Harvard fired this guy over this. In the reasoning why they said in a letter that even if the results have merit, the conclusions are too disturbing to publish. So rather than seek an unpopular truth, Harvard would instead sweep such research under the table. That is how societies fail. Hundreds of students have signed a petition to bring him back, as they see progress more important than hurt feelings, signalling some small hope for mankind.

The fact that IQ tests for everyone in this world have dropped 14 points show the entire planet getting dumber. Just watch Fox News for ten minutes and try not to believe that fact. Intellect is being shunned by all races, especially the religious morons out there still desperately clinging to the idea of an Earth 6000 years old or one in which evolution doesn't exist. There is some low level IQ's.

Now the reason for this drop is simple: stupid people are having more children while the smarter or us, myself included, have decided against children. I have neither the money, nor the patience to deal with a toddler and bringing up any child in today's diseased world seems like a stretch. As long as this trend continues, IQ levels will continue to drop across all racial lines and a world right out of Idiosyncracy is possible where Tracy Morgan is President and Gatorade is used to water our lawns with predictably bad results.

To stop this slide the most important thing we can do is to learn everything we can. I know we are being worked to death and stress levels are off the chart but we have to do better. We have to BE better, regardless of race. I have met many people from the worst neighborhoods in CT who are far from stupid. They may not be book smart but I would also guess if I gave them an IQ test, they would perform very well. Just because you are poor and a minority doesn't mean you are NOT smart. It means you may have to work harder, and trust me, those that I know trying to escape the hood without being a statistic or dealing drugs to get ahead, are smarter than a lot of people I know rich, white and with a MBA. Race does not define you or how smart you are. How you use it does.

TORNADO AID, QUESTIONABLE POLLS AND OTHER TALES FROM THE DERANGED RIGHT

This is starting to be like a broken record. Every day the right wingers come up with some new, off the wall notion that they claim to be "science," but hardly ever is. Take this gem: ultra-wing and Birther site WND, claims that a recent poll by Wenzler Strategies shows that 50% of this country wants Obama impeached. This flies in the face of numerous other polls that say most of America don't care about any of this and the best show no change to Obama's approval ratings. This is just more shit hitting the fan from the right using rigged polls to alter the outcome of reality. We saw it in full force during the election where the right used altered polls to show their candidate ahead, even though he was way behind as the more accurate polls demonstrated.

Unfortunately for all of us, the one scandal that actually is upsetting, the bugging of reporters, is the one getting the least amount of coverage. The other two bullshit ones, Benghazi and the IRS, are pointless and time consuming. Benghazi stone throwers have yet to prove what this mythical scandal is they keep beating that dead horse over and the IRS targeting Tea Party groups, for which none were denied tax-exempt status, is more horse manure from that same dead horse. The bigger scandal is that recent documents show Apple paying no taxes anywhere on Earth due to the resources they have access to and, even by own governments standards, no laws were broken. The other scandal is all these non-profit groups that are not supposed to be political in nature for tax exempt status, which then turn around and spend 49% of their money on political ads, are just skirting the law as well. Where's the outrage over that?

Fox news is capitalising on these fake stories as their ratings have gone up as MSNBC and CNN have dropped. In Fox's defense, at least they have news on their channel, as fake as some of it might be, rather than MSNBC's zillionth episode of "To Catch A Predator," or CNN butchering news on a near daily basis. The fact that CNN hired Jeff Zucker to run the network, who previously ran NBC into the ground, is equally disturbing.

As for impeachment, I would support that if, and only if, 99% of Congress goes with him, including all the Republicans. They have been a treasonous group of vipers who are destroying this country in ways Barack Obama wouldn't dream of. If Obama a great president? Hardly. Have the Republicans been even worse? God yes. The GOP has actively tried to kill Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, SNAP, overtime pay, worker safety and even the defense of this country. That is what anyone on the right is voting for and it has to stop.

Take Oklahoma for example. These past few days have seen a dramatic increase in dangerous tornadoes that have killed at least 24 people so far, seven of which drowned in their basement. Tom Coburn (R-OK) has said he will not support any aid to these families who lost everything unless cuts are made to offset the balance. As one of those who also voted against help for Hurricane Sandy victims, I have to admit, at least he isn't a hypocrite. I could call him a fool who lacks a basic understanding of how government works and a guy who doesn't care about the suffering of others, but at least he has principles.

Representatives from NY and NJ on the other hand have taken the higher road and, rather than punish Oklahoma citizens for the actions of their politicians, have signaled they will vote to give aid to the disaster victims. That is class and something I don't know if I would have been so quick to join with. But that's why I type here and not run for office, which would never happen as all the skeletons in my closet would clog the airwaves stat. When you been arrested a few times (falsely both times but still), that will come back to haunt you.

While all this nonsense is going on, a war is heating up between Syria and Israel with both sides shelling the other. Iran is using proxy warriors to turn the tide against the Syrian rebels, and many claim a massacre is right around the corner. The US, Europe, Turkey and Saudi Arabia have all seemed to have abandoned the rebels and not without cause. Many of the rebels seem to be Muslim Extremists who want another country to call theirs in what can only be described at this point as dangerous. If Muslim extremists take over the Middle East, oil will be used as blackmail and war, a massive one, will be in our future. As some countries like Pakistan have nukes, should they fall, the world is in real danger.

But instead of focusing on either external or internal threats, we are still talking about Benghazi and the IRS, which mean less than nothing. Benghazi was caused by mistakes by all and the IRS wasn't targeting any group in particular for retribution as none were denied tax exempt status. Until we start talking about things that matter (jobs, the failing economy) nothing will ever get better. As a matter of fact, they will get far, far worse.

UMBRELLAGATE, BENGHAZI, THE FARM BILL AND OTHER SIGNS THE REPUBLICAN PARTY HAS LOST THEIR MINDS

After weeks of mock indignation over pseudo-scandals, the right has finally lost any grip they had on reality and have resorted to baseless claims that border on insanity. The biggest of these is Umbrellagate, after the right went into a tailspin over a white Marine holding an umbrella for the President during a recent press conference with Turkish PM, Tayyip Erdogan. Sarah Palin, that battalion of all known wisdom, tweeted this gem shortly afterward: "Scandalous Hat Trick. Mr. President, when it rains it pours, but most Americans hold their own umbrellas. Speaking of coverage, glad you finally called in the Marines… shame it was just to hold your umbrella " The right went ballistic over it, looking like the racists they really are. Palin and the other mouth breathers seem to have conveniently missed the infinite pictures of past presidents having umbrellas held for them for the past century. They also seem to have missed that history lesson where William Henry Harrison did not have someone hold an umbrella for him during his inauguration, which lead to pneumonia and death thirty days later. Ironically, there are many pictures of Sarah Palin having someone hold an umbrella for her as well during her failed attempt at VP so she can't even remember her own history accurately.

All this as new polls shows the President's approval rating hasn't budged meaning these scandals are not quite as damaging as previous polls stated. Polls are more or less worthless in today's "fix the results" standards. Remember those right wing polls that showed Romney with a commanding lead in the Electoral College? Those turned out to be totally wrong as the right just fixed the data to suit their hypothesis, as they do all the time from political polls to basic knowledge of science like the age of the Earth and evolution. Anyone not believing in the latter two must be lumped in with the same groups like The Flat Earth Society and the Klu Klux Klan for following beliefs that are wrong on every level.

Here's some other quotes from brainpowers like Sean Hannity: “They were protecting him and maybe in this case he should have been protecting them and the people in Libya." Or this from Eric Bolling: “Wouldn’t it be nice if he had them (Benghazi) covered the way they have him covered?” Is there nothing these blowhards can not turn into a mock scandal with some tie to Benghazi? Michael Moore had a great quote this weekend where he said the issue wasn't the IRS targeting Tea Party groups but NOT targeting companies like GE and Exxon that pay no taxes. Funny how the right missed that part as they are too busy going after President Blackenstein.

Just to prove that the GOP is only interested in sticking to the little guy, a House committee, chaired and run by Republicans, recently passed a much needed farm bill that would keep prices from exploding and affecting everyone. But celebrations were short lived as it was also revealed that in the bill is an amendment that would strip SNAP benefits from two million people and end free lunches for needy students. Democrats have signaled they won't vote for the bill and some ultra-rightwingers have joined in as the bill doesn't cut enough. Wow. This the modern GOP: a party hell bent on destroying this country by making us all work for slave wages, with no overtime, benefits or safety net. This is what anyone voting Republican is doing right now and it has to stop, unless living like a slave is what you want.

Companies are finally getting some push back on all this with places like JC Penny, Sears and WalMart barely hanging on. Their numbers are dropping and many are saying they are boycotting these places due to low wages which their sales confirm as real and accurate. Some think Walmart may go bust within the next twenty years if current sales keep dropping at an exponential pace. Corporations have to realize we have hit bottom when it comes to cutting things for employees and we are not going to take it anymore. This is why we have a second amendment and if the government is unwilling to help us make more money, expect some to take matters into their own hands. The gravy train is over and it is time to give the public more money. You can't claim poverty as a reason to cut people's wages while giving the executives millions dollar raises. Sooner or later, that will come to literally bite them in the ass as the fed up public takes giant chunks out of their behinds.

The right is lost, the left is corrupted and the middle no longer exists. Unless we stand up and start demanding more from our elected officials, and from the idiots voting the dumbest humans on earth into office, nothing will ever change, except for the worse. Don't let it.

DOUCHEBAG OF THE WEEK: REPUBLICANS

Never in the history of this country have we spent so much time on things that mean absolutely nothing while much more important decisions are being ignored by both sides, but let's face facts that the GOP is chiefly to blame. Let's see those runner ups.

1)Fast Food Owners- It's bad enough that these jobs pay shit wages, but a recent study showed that 84% of workers are being cheated out the meager wages they are making. This is an abomination and it has to stop. If the courts are unwilling to do anything about it I would suggest some tar and feathers for a start. Workers in Brooklyn are demanding a raise to $15 an hour and a chance to form unions without intimidation. This is why we need unions because businesses of all sorts are raping us blind while the government ignores the problem. The GOP is too busy trying to make it legal to do this practice nationwide and morons in this country are voting for it. These workers are being cheated on overtime, given fraudulent work sheets and use children against labor laws. Where does this madness end? With a guillotine if it keeps up. The AG in New York is investigating, but I will be really surprised if anything comes of it. Our government is rapidly leaving most of us behind.

2)The US Prison system- For a country that brands itself "The home of the free and the brave," we certainly have failed to live up to the ideal. We now incarcerate more people than anyone else, 7.1 million and growing, on Earth. The rise of private prisons have made the public a commodity that needs draconian laws to keep this places full. The end result is a massive loss of tax dollars and freedoms that shows no signs of abating. We build more prisons, and spend more on, than schools. We ship all of our jobs overseas and leave the crumbs for the rest of us. The reason drugs are still illegal is because they want a steady flow of mostly minority people to fill up these gulags, while giving them no hope of doing anything else but to get out of the hood. When you see the local drug dealers making more money than anyone else, wouldn't you also be tempted to do the same thing? Especially when those that do get good grades and go to college, leave with no prospects and wind up doing the same things anyways? We have got to start demanding more from our politicians because the end result is getting to be something you would see in The Hunger Games.

3)TSA- Yes it's been a while since these douchebags have wound up on my list but a recent study shows how much damage these idiots have been doing. According to a 2012 report by Human Events, the nation lost billions in lost revenue as foreign travelers have stopped coming. Yes part of it is because of the Depression raging across Europe, but when questioned, a majority said the main reason for not returning to the states was not money issues, but the TSA and Border Patrol. Government numbers said foreign travel was way up, but closer inspection realizes that all the gains were from places like Canada and Mexico which don't require the same kind of scrutiny that plane travel does today. People hate the grope and touch so much they are not coming. Worse, people in this country have also stopped traveling by plane costing taxpayers $1.2 billion in road way repairs. A recent story told of a 14 year old girl being taken into back room, WITHOUT A PARENT, and molested. They didn't report it because they figured why bother as what good would it do. This is why people need to stand up and start demanding more and if we don't get it, people will take matters into their own hands and that will be bad for everyone. These reports are everywhere, as the TSA doesn't bother with background checks. If I was a child molester, I would be all over this. Why do you think the priesthood is overrun by these monsters? Easy access. This is a serious problem that is literally destroying this country. Start demanding more. For God's sake.

4)Gene Patents- Because of the recent news of Angelina Jolie's double mastectomy and how she discovered it, we are becoming more aware that the firm that did this wants to patent the process and our individual genes as well. How does a corporation patent was is ultimately mine? This has scary potential and hopefully will not be a precedent for future patents on our own bodies.

5)Youtube- I have love/hate thing with this site. I love how anyone can get a video out there that is funny or interesting. I don't love the fact that a lot of videos get pulled down for less than savory reasons. I understand if it is pornographic or has swearing in it, but lately they have gone into censorship territory. Take the above story about Jolie and the patent process. Any video talking about why this shouldn't be allowed is being pulled down by the site. Why? In the past, similar topics that delve into corporate malfeasance have also been eliminated making me wonder how free a country we really are and how much like North Korea we are becoming.

6)Democrats- I can't go this week without mentioning these assholes as well who have been caught in several real scandals (the AP scandal, the fixing of the COMEX) but all we have heard about are the ones that don't matter (Benghazi, the IRS) from the idiot right. Obama has had a bad week and his use of the press has been stunningly awful. His "I found out about it when you did," seem trite and unreal. If he really didn't know about some of this, he needs to get his head out of ass and start seeing the forest for the trees. We have major problems coming down the pike and we need to get ahead of it. It doesn't help that they have spent an inordinate amount of time defending themselves from the most ridiculous accusations from the most unhinged senators (ie Republicans). But can we please start fixing things like job losses and decreasing wages, which people really want answers to, and forget about the rest for right now.

7)The Justice Department/Eric Holder- It's nice to see some from the left finally jump on the bandwagon and call out Holder for the giant douche that he is. This AP scandal is a terrible action that happened on his watch and he should be called out on it. Spying on the press for any reason is illegal and unwarranted, literally. The stupid Patriot Act was used here and should be repealed immediately. It won't, but it should. If Obama has any integrity left, Holder should be shown the same door as the current IRS chief and given the quit or be fired speech.

8)Republicans- It's been another stellar week for the GOP. Darryl Issa has gone on a witch hunt over Benghazi, which is turning into more and more of a circus with every passing day. Issa says there is a major difference between "terrorism," and "acts of terror," which there isn't. Some are calling for impeachment hearings which is odd as no one has been accused of anything illegal yet, no matter how much they scream about it. The worst news for them is that it also appears the GOP has altered emails from the White House to further their cause. CBS news noticed stark differences between emails the GOP gave them and ones from the White House, State Department and the NSA. One might be a error but several spell out a pattern of abuse that shows that the right has nothing and are now making shit up to verify their bull. Here's a list of some of the emails and how they were altered:

The GOP version of Rhodes' comment, according to CBS News: "We must make sure that the talking points reflect all agency equities, including those of the State Department, and we don't want to undermine the FBI investigation."

The White House email: "We need to resolve this in a way that respects all of the relevant equities, particularly the investigation."

The GOP version of Nuland's comment, according to CBS News: The penultimate point is a paragraph talking about all the previous warnings provided by the Agency (CIA) about al-Qaeda's presence and activities of al-Qaeda."

The White House email: "The penultimate point could be abused by members to beat the State Department for not paying attention to Agency warnings."

These drastically change the tone of the statements to give credence to the Republicans theory. If there was ever a case for impeachment, this would be it and it's not Obama that I am looking at.

On top of this, they also tried to repeal Obamacare AGAIN, blocked any voting for seating the head of the EPA and have used the filibuster to destroy any legislation that isn't from their draconian brethren. CAPITALISM APPEARS ULTIMATELY DOOMED. WHAT SHOULD WE DO NEXT?

We are rapidly approaching what is known in science as a "singularity." It is a momentous occasion that happens very rarely in a species' evolution in which a huge leap forward will be made that will change everything. We are seeing just the beginning of these changes and they signify both great and horrifying potentials. All new inventions can be used for good or evil and lately, the latter is winning.

Take 3D printing, which is a terrible name. A better one would be 3D replicating or something like that. Anyways, 3D printing will eventually allow anyone to make things at home. Screwdrivers, hammers, guns, doorknobs, just about anything. Larger ones may be able to eventually replicate cars and, once an edible based product can be synthesized, food. This will have major implications as tens of millions of people will lose their jobs as a lot of product companies will be made obsolete. This is not that far off into the future. Once that happens, a capitalistic, consumer based economy will grind to a halt. There simply won't be enough jobs to go around if the entire country no longer needs many goods and services and a massive amount of poverty will simply swamp the system until it crashes completely.

Another issue is the emergence of many medical breakthroughs that could extend life to near immortality. Scientists have discovered ways to not only allow humans to live to be 250 years old, they may have also figured out a way to reverse aging. Think of what that would mean: an overcrowded planet running out of resources fast as an elite group controls all, especially any sort of immortality ability which they would strictly control. Even if it made it out into the general public, they may have a slave based class which literally has to work forever with no chance of advancement. That sounds like hell. This is huge step forward and one that has chilling potentials.

Lastly, we have achieved giant steps forward in robotics where and android that thinks like a human is not that far off. Depending on how they are built, mankind could be exterminated if they become self aware and destroy us like in Terminator. That is not out of the question, unless Issac Assimov's three rules of robotics are used, which mankind should heed greatly.

At some point soon, these three steps forward could make or break us depending on how we react to it. Considering we have a rabid populace who is somehow de-evolving (which they of course don't believe in), I don't have much hope.

So what can be done? We have to start looking at a new economic policy. Communism, Fascism and Socialism are all dismal failures in some way or another, although all of them have some truth buried among the bullshit, just like the Bible. Peel away the garbage and start to see things as they were intended.

Money is destroying us and we need to get away from ambition for coin and start developing ambition for progress. That will be hard as the right keeps using the word PROGRESSIVE as an insult which is terribly ironic because then they are the opposite which is RETARDED. Progress is the only that will save us, not some trumped up ideal from a fictional past which exists only in their minds.

I would prefer something along the lines of this method. Every single person in this country is guaranteed a place to live in a safe neighborhood, three meals a day and a job. If they prove to be incapable of one job, another will be given to them. Eventually, he either sinks or swims. Sink, and you go to a boot camp where you will work doing something. Swim and you get farther ahead and better benefits. By this method, merit is rewarded over cronyism and inheritance. If you are happy being a middle manager, and you do a good job, you could stay there your whole life. If you want more, the companies you work for will give you a chance to rise. If you are good a specific skill, that is what the government will let you do. If you suck at near everything, the government will find a place for you. By this method, everyone at least starts at the same point. In today's world, the rich start a marathon one inch from the finish line while, for the rest of us, it might as well end on the moon.

We cannot continue down this same path because it is coming to an end. One way or another, whether we like it or not, things have to change and drastically. In one future, we can realize everything Star Trek told us was possible, and still is; the other is a dystopian, Matrix-like future where we will be little more than batteries for the elite's economic engine.

AS THE RIGHT THROWS A FIT OVER BENGHAZI AND THE IRS, TWO ACTUAL SCANDALS ARE HAPPENING.

You know something is wrong when a group of individuals starts jumping up and down, frothing at the mouth over a whole lot of nothing (as shown in my last post) while two scandals that actually matter are going on. One, the AP scandal, is a gift horse/mouth set up that could bring down Holder and give a huge metaphorical black eye to the Obama administration. The other, a gold scandal which I have been reporting on for months has finally hit in some MSM sites, and shows how fragile and illusionary our economy really is. Mind you, the right would NEVER touch that scandal with a ten foot pole as they are just as guilty as everyone else in power right now of manipulating the system to make trillions while the rest of us starve.

Let's start with the one scandal everyone is familiar with. The Justice Department was after a leak over a report last year about a failed bomb plot that was stopped by the CIA which was not supposed to be public knowledge. Holder and the CIA had a fit calling on that old chestnut, "national security," and went about bugging AP offices, homes and cell phones of reporters to discover the leak for at least two months. Now Holder, in his usual slimy way (I really hate this guy), passed the buck onto two lower level operatives, which I find unlikely that he knew nothing about this. This is so wrong on so many levels I don't know where to begin. First, it is a slap in the face to rapidly disintegrating Constitution. I hate to sound like some rabid Tea Party idiot, but they aren't wrong about everything (just most things) and on this we on the same page.

Second, the reason we have the first Amendment is to stop practices like this where whistleblowers are discovered and retaliated against. This action will lead many not to trust the AP to protect their information if they are constantly being watched by a Big Brother government. This is a crime of the highest nature and Eric Holder should be fucking fired already. What does this dick have to do to get the heave ho? Fast and Furious was a giant fuck up and something the Republicans actually had a reason to bitch about but as they have ruined their reputation with Birther garbage, trying to end Medicare and Social Security and now Benghazi.

Speaking of the public, recent polls do not suggest the GOP is doing themselves any favors outside their base. Some 70% of the non-Republican responders think Benghazi is a political stunt. 39% of Republicans think it is the greatest scandal in American History which means 39% of the GOP must have an IQ below 90 because that is just stupid. Worse than Watergate? Hardly. Worse than the Gulf Of Tonkin lie? Unless 56,000 people died in Benghazi, I wouldn't classify it as a speedbump. As a matter of fact, as way of scandals go I would put it somewhere between Bill Clinton's impeachment nonsense and Brad Pitt leaving Jen Aniston for Angelina Jolie. It also doesn't help the right's cause when 39% of those who though Benghazi was the worst scandal of all times, couldn't find it on a map. Sigh. In their defense though, there were plenty of liberals who couldn't find it either, proving what a bunch of dumb asses we have become.

Obama is not clean of any of this either, by the way. While I see very little to connect him to any of these scandals, except two no one is talking about. The first is that Obama has prosecuted more people under the espionage than all other presidents combined. He has used it six times, while it had only been used three times from its passage as law in 1917. Obama has it out for whistleblowers like poor Bradley Manning who is still being rail roaded for exposing massacres that took place in Iraq and Afghanistan. Years ago, the government would have feigned horror and demanded answers to why such atrocities took place, like Mai Lai, Vietnam. Now we bury the info and destroy the person leaking it. Shameful. If Bush was the one doing this, the left would be screaming bloody murder. But for some reason, the right is looking the other way too while the left secretly condones it. This is everything wrong with politics today and people backing one side or the other for all issues, no matter if they disagree with it or not.

The second scandal you will not hear on MSM. The government will certainly not tell you. It has to do with the stock market and gold sales, something I write about for a living. The stock market has gone a whopping 177 days without a minimum 5% correction, something not seen since right before the 1987 crash. Every expert out there is warning people of a dangerous bubble, and when it pops, it could plummet out of sight if panic sets in. A minimum of a ten percent correction will happen at some point soon. Nothing goes up forever, not even a rigged market.

Last month, there was a sudden appearance of a very unusual short sale of 400 tons of gold on the COMEX, which I wrote about here. Experts agree that it was a manipulation designed solely to prop up the dollar through QE infinity. Here's the rub: the seller had no gold to sell on this naked short bid. COMEX reported having a gold supply equal to half of the short sales in it's vault, and not all of that was available for delivery if needed. Only the FED, or a too big to fail bank, could have ordered such a quantity and not raise eyebrows. My sources led it right to JP Morgan's doorstep. This is from Globalresearch.com

The price of bullion is not set in the physical market where individuals take delivery of bullion purchases. It is set in the paper futures market where short selling can drive down the price even if the demand for physical possession is rising. The paper gold market is also the market in which people speculate and leverage their positions, place stop-loss orders, and are subject to margin calls.
When the enormous naked shorts hit the COMEX, stop-loss orders were triggered adding to the sales, and margin calls forced more sales. Investors who were not in on the manipulation lost a lot of money.

The sales of GLD shares are accumulated by the banksters in 100,000 lots and presented to GLD for redemption in gold acquired at the driven down price.

The short sale is leveraged by the stop-loss triggers and margin calls, and results in a profit for the banksters who placed the short sell order. The banksters then profit again as they sell the released gold into the physical market, especially in Asia, where demand has been stimulated by the sharp drop in bullion price and by the loss of confidence in fiat currency. Asian prices are usually at a higher premium above the spot prices in New York-London.

Some readers have said “don’t bet against the Federal Reserve; the manipulation can go on forever.” But can it? As the ETFs such as GLD are drained of gold, their ability to cover any of their obligations to investors diminishes. In my opinion, these ETFs are like a fractional reserve banking system. The claims on gold exceed the amount of gold in the trusts. When the ETFs are looted of their gold by the banksters, the gold price will explode, as the claims on gold will greatly exceed the supply.

Kranzler reports that the current June futures contracts are 12.5 times the amount of deliverable gold. If more than 8 percent of these trades were to demand delivery, COMEX would default. That such a situation is possible indicates the total failure of federal financial regulation.

What the Federal Reserve has done in order to maintain its short-run policy of protecting the “banks too big too fail” is to make the inevitable reckoning more costly for the US economy.

Since the EU was faltered, European banks have demanded gold back that we once stored for them to prop up their failing institutions. China and Japan has done likewise. We still have no idea how much, if any gold, is in Ft. Knox as they haven't been audited since the 70's. The whole country may be being run on illusionary prosperity and all we have is the right going mad over nothing while the left looks at Obama and says squat. Sooner or later, this whole house of cards if going to come down and the people at the bottom are the ones who are going to covered in debris.

REPUBLICAN'S CRY WOLF OVER BENGHAZI, IRS AND ANYTHING ELSE THEY CAN INVENT

Bill Maher this past weekend summed the whole Benghazi "scandal" up nicely with this question: "What exactly is this huge conspiracy the right keeps harping on? No really, what exactly are they getting at?" I have no idea. Every time someone goes on to explain what the exact reason, we get some long winded, John Kerryesque, bloated explanation that dances all over the place. If you want to piss me off more than just about anything else, don't answer my question in a clear fashion. I immediately disagree with anyone who does this as if you cannot explain what your problem is, you don't really have one.

Fox News has been on Defcon One over this and the other "big" story, the IRS targeting Tea Party groups. Let me ask everyone out there some basic questions. If I am looking for racists, do I look at the Klu Klux Klan or PETA? If I am looking for child molesters do I look at NAMBLA or do I investigate the Rotary Club? If I am the IRS and I am looking for tax cheats, do I go after the groups who do NOT want to pay their taxes, like the Tea Party and Patriot groups, or Joe Schmoe at the corner store? The answer is self explanatory.

The other problem with this story is that doesn't appear to have been a wide spread practice but only by a handful of agents in the Cincinnati office. Yet the near rabid right is screaming about hearings over this because it's not like we have more important things to do like save this country from economic ruin or anything. This is just what the American people are demanding, more hearings about a worthless subject. Unbelievable. This is yet another non story from the right who have nothing to say about their policies so they nitpick at anything they can. Do not forget, this is the same party that wants to privatize social security, destroy Medicare and Medicaid and recently voted to give people LESS money at their job. Keep voting for this assholes if you really hate this country because they will return this nation to everything it once was: an arctic region covered in ice. (Thank you Steve Martin).

You want to see what a Tea Party run nation would be like, let's look at South Carolina's equally retarded sibling, North Carolina. In the past few months, they tried to pass extreme voter suppression laws (or the "let minorities never vote" proposal), baring "incompetent" voters from voting (which ironically would probably ban 90% of their base as well), and tried to shut down all abortion clinics statewide, just to name a few. Here's a quote from state senator Tommy Tucker snapping at a newspaper publisher, “I am the senator, you are the citizen. You need to be quiet,” Yeah that'll get you good press.

What else has North Carolina attempted? How about naming Christianity the state religion, even though that is expressly prohibited in the Constitution. How is it that the Tea Party claims such allegiance to the Constitution and Bible, but only to the parts they like? This is stupidity squared.

Or how about this gem where Republicans tried to pass a law that make it illegal for anyone to make any scientific research into rising sea levels. This is from The National Memo:

“The proposed bill would limit forecasts for future sea-level rise to what the ocean along the NC coast did last century,” according to an article by the North Carolina Coastal Federation. “Using that standard, the state would plan for rise of about 12 inches by 2100.” Scientists make these predictions based on data from computer generated models –Tea Party Republicans in the state take issue with this, suggesting that they ought to rely on historical data instead.

Text from the bill reads, “[Rates of sea level rise] shall only be determined using historical data, and these data shall be limited to the time period following the year 1900. Rates of sea-level rise may be extrapolated linearly to estimate future rates of rise but shall not include scenarios of accelerated rates of sea-level rise.”

The apparent reasoning for this legislation is that by distinguishing areas of land that could be underwater in the future would deter individuals from building homes and businesses in those areas. Tom Thompson, chairman of the group NC-20, which supports this legislation, told the News & Observer of Raleigh, “If you’re wrong and you start planning today at 39 inches, you could lose millions of dollars in development and 2,000 square miles would be condemned as a flood zone. Is it really a risk to wait five years and see?”

Recently, the North Carolina legislature passed bigoted anti-gay marriage laws that accidentally also nullified all civil unions and domestic partnerships between heterosexual companies. Way to go guys

A new bill is making it's way through their Senate which would ban any sort of non emergency health care for underage people without parental consent, with the goal of making even harder for people to get an abortion, contraception or aid in dealing with an STD. This law if passed may have the unintended consequence of making STD's more prevalent in their society. Awesome. So go to North Carolina if you really want drug resistant syphilis and a huge spike in teen pregnancy, which is already higher than the national average.

They are also another state trying to make welfare recipients take drug tests to get benefits, something that has failed everywhere as unconstitutional. You cannot make one group of people, ie poor, do something that no one else is doing. That pesky Constitution again, which you guys supposedly love. Make up your freaking mind. Even a majority of the right is not behind this one, as I am sure they have seen how poorly it has been received elsewhere.

That is what a Tea Party America would look like. They would applaud free market ideals that drive down wages and benefits while, at the same time, observing all bedroom habits to make sure they comply with the Bible and their limited world view. Is that really what we want? I sure as hell don't and I expect neither do most of you there. So what are you going to do about it?

DOUCHEBAG OF THE WEEK: SOUTH CAROLINA

You can tell it's been a slow news week when every media source starts screaming about Benghazi, a dead horse subject. Trust me, I've looked into it and if there was even a hint over some sort of cover up, I would be all over it. But there isn't. Let's see those runner ups.

1)Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Krusinski- In the ultimate case of irony, the Air Force's guy in charge of sexual assault cases was arrested this week for, wait for it, sexual assault. Lt. Numnuts was arrested for attacking a woman in a parking lot making everyone question just what in the hell is going on in our military. I know several woman in the armed forces and they all have described some sort of harassment from the enlisted all the way to generals. This is not acceptable behavior, especially from our military. And while I still don't think it's good idea to have women on the front lines, mainly because if they become POW's rape is almost certainly in their future, I have no problem with women serving in general and should be treated with respect, not leers and groping. This douche should be locked into a place where he is SURE to get raped himself and see how he likes it. I hate rapists and this dick is a black eye to America. I hope he gets everything he deserves. At the very least, his career and life are over. No mention in any article if he was married but it would be nice if his soon to be ex took half his stuff too.

2)Sylvia Brown- Contrary to what many might think, I believe that some people out there can see things the rest of us don't. I have had personal experiences that I cannot explain and my understanding of quantum physics dictate that psychics are scientifically possible That being said, 99% of the people claiming to be psychic aren't. Sylvia Brown is at the top of that list. She is wrong much more often than not and when she is right, guess work and deduction seem much more likely. This bitch has been around far too long and has reappeared in the media as she was one of the idiots who told Amanda Berry's mom, who died in 2006, that her daughter was dead at the time, which she wasn't as she was found alive this week along with two other girls who had been held captive for the past ten years. Oops. Anyone still listening to this monster is as much an idiot as she is.

3)Ariel Castro- Speaking of Amanda Berry comes this story with a happy ending as three missing girls were found alive and well, minus the physical and mental torture they suffered through these past ten years. But they have been located and this fuckwad is going away for the rest of his life, if not to death row, where he really belongs. This ass needs a good lethal injection, stat.

4)Cleveland Police department- So let me get this straight, a report of naked women on leashes in the backyard (which they deny ever hearing about) doesn't deserve an armed response, but some guy with six pot plants in his closet gets the full SWAT team experience. What's wrong with that picture? Our priorities are all screwed up and the police departments nationwide are not helping. Can we start focusing on crimes that need immediate attention and leave the small time drug users alone already?

5)The Judge in the Lauryn Hill case- The singer was found guilty of tax evasion this week and sentenced to pay back $500,000 to the IRS. That's fine. However, the judge also sentenced her to three months in jail with mandatory psyche sessions for her "Conspiracy theory" about how the record industry is reducing artists to slaves. This is frightening as this sets a precedent for judges to jail people with fringe beliefs. Not to the mention the fact, the Hill is right about the recording industry which has been accused of similar actions by John Fogerty, Sheryl Crow, Prince, Paul McCartney and others. I also used to know many people in the recording industry who all left due to rampant mismanagement, low pay and a single minded focus on finding the next boy band rather than find actual talent. The recording industry is a slave operation and anyone who believes differently are the ones that need psychiatric help and not vice versa.

6)Republicans- Another week, another attempt to repeal Obamacare, to pass a law that would end overtime pay for all workers (passed by the House and has no chance in the Senate) and screamed coverup at the top of their lungs. The only problem is there doesn't seem to be anything to the Benghazi case, even impeachment talks is on in the fringe levels but has little chance of anything more. Let's talk about what really happened. The CIA and State department got into a pissing match, something that has been going on for more than half a century now and denounced the other's conclusion. Politics got involved and people died. Obama appears to have no connection to any of this regardless of what the media and GOP are saying. I have not found one document or testimony that says otherwise. The GOP gets half the blame as their "cut costs anywhere" philosophy directly led to a lack of security there and other places. As for this "stand down order," which I still see no evidence for, stop listening to those who say the President is the only one who can give that order. He isn't. The State Department, the Pentagon and the CIA all could have given it. People seem to forget that Dick Cheney gave a stand down order when planes were approaching the Pentagon, a fact that is not in contention as the Transportation Secretary at the time testified to Congress that he was there when it happened. Benghazi was tragic. Can we please move on.

7)The media- It's bad enough Fox News has become the Benghazi channel this week which had led up to nothing. Now the rest of the media, because of a slow news week, is beating the same drums with little public outcry as we have better things to worry about here like low wages, crappy jobs and no hope in sight. Can we fix those problems first please? CNN was caught this week with two newscasters, supposedly in different parts of the city, standing six parking spots away as the traffic in back was always the same. What a joke CNN has become. The rest of our media is not much better.

8)South Carolina- The Republicans in this state hit a new low by electing Mark Sanford to Congress. nevermind the fact he cheated on his wife, or left the state without telling anyone, or used tax payer money to go to Argentina to cheat on his wife, this guy should have been unelectable. Instead he won by nine points. Maybe South Carolina should leave the US after all as there seems to be no hope for this incredibly stupid state. If you are going to vote Republican no matter who is on the ticket, you are terrible American. Maybe you missed the vote this week that attempted to get rid of overtime pay for half the country, but you voted in support of that this week with this dreadful vote. So congratulations South Carolina you are indeed douchebag of the week.

THE US ECONOMY SAILS TOWARD AN ICEBERG. WHY A MARKET CRASH IS MORE LIKELY THAN EVER.

For all the crowing by the government and media sources over how well the country is doing, the facts remain that it is all a dangerous illusion and one that seems to be coming to an end. The Dow is soaring to ever higher heights (a dangerous sign in and of itself), housing prices are rising and unemployment is down to 7.something. All of this is being faked to make things look better. This is a real conspiracy that is proven by the facts themselves. The Dow is artificially inflated, housing is falling to the same "free market" bullshit that got us into the mess that we are still in, and the true unemployment number, one that counts everyone not working and working in some low laying, no benefit job is well into the high twenties, low thirties. No society can continue with these numbers and the US and Europe will be no different. Europe is in the midst of it's Great Shadow Depression, a word not used anywhere ever though by the very definition of the word, they are in one. Our economy yo-yo's between severe recession to mild depression, neither of which is showing any sign of abating.

Historical patterns say the economy is headed for a major downturn. I say this as one who writes A LOT about the sale of precious metals for several large gold suppliers and watch the markets carefully as a result. Copper is one of those lesser known metals that few watch as it's not as flashy as gold or platinum. However, copper is a major market indicator, thus the nickname "Dr. Copper." This year, copper has fallen off a cliff, a real troubling sign, as have almost all precious metals for unbelievable reason.

The world is hoarding gold while selling paper certificates in mass bulk. Half of these paper derivatives don't even exist, with full knowledge by our government that it is going on. The reason I know this is that if I can figure what is going on, along with thousands of others, someone in the government would be smart enough to as well. The only explanation is that they are in on it, perhaps even getting some sort of kickback for looking the other way. The main reason they are looking the other way is that the banks have all the power right now and may be dictating rules to the government and not vice versa, a scary proposition. They could be saying " Do as I say or I will tank the economy" It would explain a lot of what is going on right now.

Housing is falling back down, as the whole price increase was bull anyway as flipping is all the rage again and the banks are sitting on millions of foreclosures right now, artificially keeping housing prices from slipping even further down. Home renovations have fallen, retail spending has followed, the Dry Baltic Index is falling further and further behind, and economic figures from places like Europe and China are terrible. So how in the hell are stock prices rising? They are obviously rigged with all the printed money, QE Infinity, that is doing the same to stock prices that banks are doing to housing. It's all bullshit and eventually, it will come crashing back to Earth. Here are 12 indicators from Blacklistednews.com:

#1 The price of copper has traditionally been one of the very best indicators of the future performance of the U.S. economy. The fact that it is down nearly 20 percent so far this year has many analysts extremely concerned...

Copper's downward trend foreshadows a stock market collapse, according to Societe Generale's famously bearish strategist Albert Edwards, who said equity markets will riot "Japan-style."

"Copper is acting exactly as it did when I wrote about the impotence of liquidity in the face of the (then imminent) 2007 recession. Once again it is giving us an early warning that liquidity will not save risk assets: time to get out of equities," Edwards wrote in his latest research note, on Thursday.

#2 Home renovation spending has fallen back to depressingly-low 2010 levels.

#3 As Zero Hedge recently pointed out, U.S. retail spending is repeating a pattern that we have not seen since the last recession...

Retail sales of clothing is growing at the slowest pace since 2010; but while major store sales are about to drop negative YoY for the first time in over 3 years, the utter collapse in general merchandise sales is worse that at the peak of the last recession at -5%. It seems tough to see how a nation with an economy built on 70% consumption is not in a recessionary environment. And while this alone is a dismal signal for the discretionary upside of the US economy/consumer; as Gluskin Sheff's David Rosenberg points out real personal income net of transfer receipts plunged at a stunning 5.8% annual rate in Q1. The other seven times we have seen such a collapse, the economy was either in recession of just coming out of one.

#4 Manufacturing activity all over the country is showing signs of slowing down. In fact, Chicago PMI has dipped below 50 (indicating contraction) for the first time since the last recession.

#5 In April, consumer confidence unexpectedly fell to a nine-month low...

The Thomson Reuters/University of Michigan preliminary index of consumer sentiment declined to 72.3 in April from 78.6 a month earlier. This month’s reading was lower than all 69 estimates in a Bloomberg survey that called for no change from the March number.

#6 NYSE margin debt peaked right before the recession that began in 2002, it peaked right before the financial crisis of 2008, and it is peaking again.

#7 The S&P 500 usually mirrors the performance of Chinese stocks very closely. That is why it is so alarming that Chinese stocks peaked months ago. Will the S&P 500 soon follow?

#8 The economic data coming out of the Chinese economy lately has been mostly terrible...

For starters, China’s recent economic data, as massaged as it is to the upside, is downright awful. China’s PMI numbers were the worst in two years. Staffing levels in the Chinese service sector decreased for the first time since January 2009 (remember that year).
China’s LEI also shows no sign of recovery. If anything, it indicates China is heading towards an economic slowdown on par with that of 2008. And if you account for the rampant debt fueling China’s economy you could easily argue that China is posting 0% GDP growth today.

#9 Things just continue to get even worse over in Europe. Unemployment in both Greece and Spain is now about 27 percent, and the unemployment rate in the eurozone as a whole has just set a brand new all-time record high.

#10 Crude inventories have soared to a record high as demand for energy continues to decline. As I have written about previously, this is a clear sign that economic activity is slowing down.

#11 Casino spending is usually a strong indicator of the overall health of the U.S. economy. That is why it is so noteworthy that casino spending is now back to levels that we have not seen since the last recession.

#12 The impact of the sequester cuts is starting to kick in. According to the Congressional Budget Office, the sequester cuts will cost the U.S. economy about 750,000 jobs this year.

None of that is a good sign of things to come. Some day soon, we are going to wake up and watch as the Dow slides back down to where it was 2008 and, most likely, much lower. I am thinking 3000 range. We have done nothing to fix any of the major problems and the blame for that goes to both democrats, the GOP, the Tea Party and Obama. Nobody is coming up with any reasonable ideas on what we should be doing like giving the middle class more money while we grab 90% of the elites obscene wealth, especially if they have untold trillions stashed in offshore accounts. Unless we start doing just that, none of us are going to have anything as the greedy among us consume everything. I would like to remind them that that didn't work out too well in France in the 1870's. It will be far worse here.

REPUBLICANS, GEOFFREY R. PORTMAN AND OTHER GREAT MOMENTS IN AMERICAN STUPIDITY

It has been a momentous few weeks in which we seem to be having a contest over which group or individual can do the stupidest thing imaginable. We had three college students aid a wanted terrorist after they knew he was involved in the deaths of several innocent people. Media had become a laughable parody of itself from CNN incapable of not spreading every wild rumor as if God himself had reported it while Fox News cried Benghazi at the top of its lungs until no sane person was listening. We had a government that shot down background checks which 90% of the public wanted while simultaneously getting rid of provision that would have had a limited ability of stopping insider trading inside of Congress.

We are being told the economy is getting better because the Dow just reached 15,000, unemployment is dropping and housing is rebounding. The Dow is on steroids, flush with freshly printed money, unemployment uses numbers that are rigged to be lower than they really are and have been so since 1980, and the only reason housing is rebounding is people are using houses to flip for profit while the banks sit on MILLIONS of foreclosures that, if they flooded the market with, housing prices would drop through the floor. It's all an illusion and some of us are starting to see through it. But there are a lot of stupid people out there. Too many as a matter of fact.

Take Geoffrey R. Portman, for example. This tub of lard was recently arrested in the Worcester, MA area for conspiring to kidnap, rape, and eat a child. What a winner. I loathe kiddie porn and this piece of garbage had quite a bit of it which is what caused his arrest. The authorities were stunned when they searched his house and found a soundproof dungeon with torture equipment, a steel table, restraints, a kid sized coffin and a cage, all brand new and never used, thank God. The dumb part is he was looking for an accomplice online where he would go to chat rooms and talk about his sick fantasies to others like him. Yuck. This douche should be put to death the second they find him guilty. Or better yet, throw him into gen-pop with a sign around his neck that says in bright red letters "CHILD FUCKER." He wouldn't last the day.

What Portman did is pretty stupid in many ways but the Republicans of this country have to start really looking at themselves and wonder if they might be borderline retarded or perhaps a child of incest because everything the GOP is about right now is insane. And anyone voting for these idiots are just as bad. Eric Cantor wants to get rid of overtime pay. Is that really what many of you out there want? I doubt it. They want to make abortion illegal all the time. Do you really want that for your teen daughter? They hate gay people. How is that not racist? If you really want big business to have total control of our lives while a religious theocracy tells us all what to do, keep voting for the GOP. If not, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, STOP VOTING FOR THE DUMBEST HUMANS OUT THERE!

Mark Sanford is at the polls today and is neck and neck with Elizabeth Colbert in SC. How is that possible? Sanford used tax payer dollars, ie STOLE MONEY FROM THE CITIZENS OF SC, to cheat on his wife. And this is fine with the all the so called catholics voting for him right now is it? These are the same people who demonized Bill Clinton for far less heinous behavior, including Sanford himself who personally chastised the President for cheating on his wife and voted for impeachment. Throw stones much, Sanford? That blowjob he got didn't cost the taxpayers millions like your sorry ass. Yet people are still going to vote for him because he has a R behind his name and that is a dangerous way to vote right now as the Republican party's is filled to the brim with insanity. To make matters worse, Sanford took out a full page ad recently to highlight why people should overlook his Argentinian mistress and look at his election as akin to the battle at the Alamo. Only problem with that was dumbass got the date wrong as to when the Alamo happened. Genius. It was long, rambling message that in no way told people anything of any importance. Yet he still may win. Good god what is happening to us?

The only good news is that it came out this week that Rush Limbaugh may be parting ways with his syndication company, Cumulus after his advertising dollars have all but vanished. CEO Lew Dickey told reporters that Limbaugh has been in freefall since his ill advised comments about Sandra Fluke, in which he called her a "slut" for wanting insurance companies to cover birth control. Of the 3.5% loss last year, a full 1% represented Rush's advertising drop off. His days may finally be numbered. Anybody still listening to this ass has little hope of accomplishing anything important ever.

And speaking of freefalling, both Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) and Jeff Flake (R-AZ) have both signaled a willingness to vote for background checks in the future as their polls have showed a grand canyon sized drop. Ayotte's numbers dropped as much as 15 points on average (and in the 30's to moderates) while Jeff Flake is now the single most hated person in Congress just beating Mitch "the Turtle" McConnell. Flake is living up to his name as he has given some truly astonishing answers as to WHY he didn't vote for background checks, his best one being that "texting someone about a gun would be a crime." It wouldn't. He's making that up. And anyone voting for this idiot should be shamed in public.

All this while the NRA convention this week was a nonstop parade of the, and I mean this quite literally, the DUMBEST politicians and pundits one could put on one stage. This gala brought together the mind powers of Rick Perry, Sarah Palin, Wayne LaPierre, Ted Cruz and Rick Santorium to name just a few who went off on strange tangents like gay marriage and immigration at a gun rally. When I go see someone like Henry Rollins in concert I don't expect him to start singing country songs. This forever proves my point that the NRA is not there to protect the 2nd amendment but to get Republicans elected no matter how nutty.

We have to stop voting for any Republican while putting pressure on the democrats for better help to the poor and middle class. We can still change this country but not if a majority of us all act like drunken monkeys. The choice is yours, read a book or a blog once in a while or zone out to The Voice. Just remember this whole house of cards will eventually come crumbing down if nothing is done and soon. Just saying, your choice.

SYRIA CIVIL WAR SPIRALS OUT OF CONTROL THREATENING REGIONAL CONFLICT. WHY NOW?

The civil war in Syria is starting to drag in it's neighbors as, much like every other bit of scientific knowledge out there today, no one can agree on what is really going on. An alleged sarin attack last week had US, UK and Israeli sources all blaming Assad and his men. Now comes word from the UN that Syrian rebels are to blame. This is from the Daily Mail:

"Former war crimes prosecutor Carla Del Ponte told Swiss TV that a UN commission has 'strong, concrete suspicions' that rebels had used the nerve agent sarin gas.

She said that the United Nations independent commission of inquiry on Syria has not yet seen evidence of government forces having used chemical weapons, which are banned under international law.

'Our investigators have been in neighbouring countries interviewing victims, doctors and field hospitals and, according to their report of last week which I have seen, there are strong, concrete suspicions but not yet incontrovertible proof of the use of sarin gas, from the way the victims were treated,' said Ms Del Ponte."

This is the exact opposite of the US position and both have reasons to lie. The US for military reasons and the UN for lately being somewhat anti-American in nature. I am not some dimwit who believes the UN is coming for us or any nonsense like that but their voting blocks as of late have a distinct anti-US tinge to them that is undeniable and perhaps with good reason. We have not exactly been a good friend to a lot of places in the world lately and we are seeing that on the world stage. There are also complex reasons, such as domination attempts by Russia and China, currency wars and other complicated matters that would be best described in a future article.

Syria is falling apart. And as they seem hell bent on assisting their only real ally, Iran, in getting missiles to Hezbollah to be used against Israel, they are asking for trouble. Israel, of course, has retaliated against the Syrians hard for this indescretion by bombing the crap out of at least twelve sites so far. The death toll is unknown, but I expect it be at least five hundred dead, most of them elite soldiers protecting these stockpiles. Assad wouldn't want these arms to fall into rebel hands so they would be well guarded. Now they are stuff on rock. And the Syrian government is pissed.

Most surprisingly from all of this though is that Israel provided NO warning to the US at all about this strike, meaning that this is a clear sign to Obama that, if they feel Iran is a threat, they may do exactly the same thing. That is extraordinarily dangerous as any attack on Iran may immediately affect US troops and a little heads up that a war is coming might be nice.

Now I doubt anyone wants a war, least of which would be Assad who is kind of busy at the moment. The Syrians have threatened retaliation but I fear that as much as North Korea: possible but highly unlikely unless suicide is in their future. The Israelis have apologized for the assault but said they would not allow Iranian missiles to get into terrorist hands regardless of where they might be.

I highly doubt this will advance beyond talk, but in today's unpredictable times, anything is possible. We have two sides telling us two different things, both of which are plausible. Did Assad use sarin or did the rebels? I don't know because we do not have any sort of scientific community who can get the message out over what is true and what is bunk. All science, no matter how wrong, is being treated as possible and real, even when it clearly isn't. Until we have a National Science Board, filled with the smartest people in the country, if not the world, to examine these kinds of things and let us know who is telling the truth. everything will be guesswork. It is near impossible anymore to know whether just about anything you think you know is right. Are temperatures getting warmer, cooler or staying the same on a global scale? The answer is yes depending on what you read and not all of it is from dubious sources, yet still contradict one another somehow. Did 9/11 happen the way the official story said it did? Don't know for sure but I doubt it. What really happened at OKC? Up in the air. We are desperate for answers and all we get are soundbites. All I can tell you is that if we keep this trend up, soundbites are going to bite us all in the ass.

DOUCHEBAG OF THE WEEK: JUDGE MARK CIAVARELLA

It was close call this week between three teens throwing their lives away to protect a wanted terrorist and this judge from PA who convicted over 5000 teens to prison for bribe money from a private prison. I had to give to him for the sheer amount of damage he caused. Let's see those runner ups.

1)Chinese scientists- It was revealed this week, in a stunning bit of channeling Dr. Frankenstein himself, that the Chinese thought it was good idea to tinker with some already lethal strains of the flu to make them even MORE virulent. Besides the fact that there was no good reason to do such a thing as it wasn't going to help them understand the virus better or even help develop a new vaccine. No they did it just because they could. Unbelievable. This is how worlds end when some idiot does something so stupid, that society grinds to a halt because of it. Has no one in that country read or seen "The Stand?" More frightening is the fact that scientists have revealed that these labs have had outbreaks in the past from far less lethal pathogens. This is playing with fire on a global scale. I can only hope they stop this madness immediately.

2)Republicans- Another week, another round of an endless stream of idiocy. Benghazi is back AGAIN in their perceptions, which according to almost every legitimate poll, the American public could not care less about. Talk about beating a dead horse. It's over. Move on already. Christ we didn't spend this much time talking about 9/11 and there are still questions about how that played out. But as that happened under a Republican watch, it was all above board while anything President Blackenstein does is subject to impeachment, tar and feathering and a good old fashioned lynching. The GOP has proved we no longer live in a democracy and anyone voting for these retards is every bit as guilty as the idiots they put into office. Look at the polls and how these fuckwads vote. Gay marriage: 52% approval rating. Republicans overwhelming voted against it. Pot legalization: 52%. Zero Republican support. Medical Marijuana: 82% support. Zero Republican support. Universal background checks: 90%. Four votes from the GOP. That is not following the will of the people at all. It is following the will of the corporations who control them thanks to Citizen's United. The only good news is hat many are growing tired of this and several Congresspeople have seen their numbers plummet since. Kelly Ayotte (NH-R), Jeff Flake (AR-R) (who is now the least popular member of Congress just squeaking by Mitch McConnel for last place), Lisa Murkowski (AK-R), Mark Begich (AK-D), Rob Portman (OH-R) and Dean Heller (NV-R) have all seen their numbers drop perilously and any who might be up for election in 2014 could actually lose what would have been safe seats normally. The GOP keeps saying that they could claim the Senate in 2014. Not if you keep doing this kind of crap because at this point, you'll be lucky not be thrown out on your rear everywhere.

3)Tea Party morons- I cannot believe this group still exists. Mark Begich is up for re-election in Alaska in 2014 and it seems dicey he will win at this point after destroying any credibility he had by voting against universal background checks. However, the Tea Party wants to run Sarah Palin as a competitor for the seat. REALLY? If you want Begich to win handily, by all means nominate Palin. Please. Polls would suggest it is not going to happen as she less popular than Congress which currently has an 8% approval rating. Herpes and taxes rate higher than her and Congress. The Tea Party is a failed movement. Let it go already.

4)Mississippi Supreme Court- In a stunning bit of stupidity and abject racism, the Court system voted 5-4 to NOT allow DNA testing to prove a death row inmate's claim on innocence. Nevermind the fact that no physical evidence linked Willie Manning to the kidnapping and murder of two college students or the fact that he was convicted on the testimony of the cousin of the defendant and a prison snitch, the former accused two others wrongly before getting it "right," and the latter recounted everything he said. There is now way this guy should have ever been convicted in the first place except he had the misfortune of being both black and poor. This is a travesty of justice and I hope the five douchebags that voted for him to meet a similar fate.

5)Clothing retailers- After the collapse of yet another Bangladeshi building this week, we have to take a serious look at where our retailers are getting their wares from. 97% of all clothes in the US and Europe are now made in these legal sweatshops and forced slave labor camps that is simply not acceptable anymore. People shouldn't have to die so that we can keep jeans at $20. Hundreds are dying, many more are being treated as poorly as one can be treated, and no one seems to care. Benetton, an Italian clothing line, was recently caught as one of the sweat shops retailers in the building collapse in Bangladesh, meaning they are as responsible as the overseers who forced those innocent people to stay in an unsafe building. Benetton expressed shock and dismay at the collapse and tried to distance themselves from the disaster but, facts are facts, and it came to light that they did indeed have a sweat shop in there. Walmart, Target and other big box stores have been caught doing the same. This cannot be allowed to continue. Boycott anyone using slave labor.

6)Syria- Syria was accused of using chemical weapons this week against the rebels. Obama pussy footed around it, further blurring that so called "red line" he kept touting about, and did nothing. The Israelis on the other hand have spent the last few days firing rockets into various buildings that have suspected rockets and chemical weapons meant for Hezbollah. At least 300 soldiers were killed at one strike today. Syria called it an act of war but as they have their hands full just holding onto to Damascus I expect little in return fire at this point. Assad's days are numbered. Bet on it. What comes after may be an even bigger problem.

7)The producers for The Great Gatsby- Only an idiot would move a musical based on a movie that has flopped at least three times already in the past from Christmas to the worst weekend to open anything you want to make money off of. The second weekend in May is a buzzsaw for anything opening for the past few years, especially if the film opening the previous week is a gargantuan success. Last year, The Avengers, destroyed anything in it's wake. The ill advised Dark Shadows and the better than expected The Dictator got killed that following weekend, as did just about anything else that opened until Memorial Day, including last year's worst movie Battleship. This year, Iron Man 3 is a juggernaut, with the second biggest opening weekend ever, just behind The Avengers. The Great Gatsby will be lucky to see $30 million and as Star Trek opens the following week, will be lucky to stay in the top three for it's second outing. This film cost $150 million not counting advertising meaning it will have to gross at least $250 mil world wide. Not likely. Way to kill your grosses dumb asses by not understanding the very job you have.

8)Dias Kadvrbavev, Azamat Tazhavakov and Robel Phillipos- Three of the stupidest people imaginable actually conspired after the fact with Boston Bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev to hide evidence even after they knew he had killed and maimed innocent people. I hate the FBI and even I would have had them on speed dial if someone I knew was involved in something this horrible. It also came to light that while it was unlikely I would have been at the Boston Marathon this year, it is almost certain I would have been there for the 4th of July which was their first target apparently. Great. The security this year is going to be just like after 9/11 with cops EVERYWHERE, command centers on nearby rooftops and snipers. But these three morons have now thrown away their lives, two of which are going to be deported and will NEVER be allowed to leave their home country again (this after their jail sentence where I am sure they are going to be very unpopular) while the US citizen, Phillipos, faces a life in which jail time is served and no good job ever. The dead terrorist still sits in a funeral home as no cemetery wants him. Good. I hope he fucking rots.

9)People still thinking the Boston Marathon bombing was a hoax- This is one of those conspiracy theories that is laughably bad. Today some fool put up pictures of a woman with something in her hand, declared it sissors, and said she was cutting peoples pant legs up to make it look like a bombing had occurred while another person poured fake blood everywhere. That is some true nuttiness. Please stop and go back to more credible nonsense like a fake moon landing, reptoids from dimension X or Sarah Palin being a good candidate for Senator.

10)Judge Mark Ciavarella- This piece of shit took bribes from a private prison to put over 5000 teens into a juvenile center that they had no business being in. He was caught and sentenced to 28 years in prison which I can only hope will be part of the gen-pop where he will meet others not so caring and nice. Another judge in PA, Michael Conahan, was convicted in 2011 of similar crimes and was sentenced to 17 years in jail. Why hasn't anyone from the prison been arrested yet? RICO statutes cover them as well so why no arrests? Because the private prisons are destroying this country and have a stranglehold on our government. They are the second largest lobbying group, just being the military industrial complex and we all know how well they are doing with no-bid contract, huge fees and other tax payer sucking devices that are bankrupting us. Robert Mericle is the owner of two facilities in PA and has been the one that both judges says bribed them. So why is he not in jail? Because he's rich and in this country, the elites have a different set of rules to follow. Mericle was convicted in 2009, payed a huge fine and, as of this writing, no jail time. There is still some word about being sentenced to up to three years in prison, but so far, he still walks among us with no sign of that being let up. VP Joe Biden even praised Mericle for his construction company in helping rebuild areas damaged during Hurricane Sandy. This fucknut should be doing hard time not prancing about with his dick in his hand. Private prisons are a bane on US freedoms and should be abolished immediately. This case shows how wrong something can go where innocent people are being jailed for profit. This is justice in America. So congratulations to Ciavarella, Conahan and Mericle for you are indeed douchebags of the week.

IT'S SUMMER MOVIE TIME. WHAT WILL SOAR AND WHAT WILL FLOP.

Lately, it kind of sucks to live in the Boston area. It's not because of terrorism, or the weather or the horrible, horrible drivers. It's because the news media here is beating a dead horse with the aftermath of the bombings. Yesterday, the news was on all day to inform us of three dumb asses arrested by the FBI for aiding and abetting after the fact the two terrorists who attacked the Marathon. Idiots. This may have been interesting for five minutes, maybe ten, not an entire afternoon where helicopters followed the car taking the three to and from the courthouse all the while repeating the same facts over and over. It was mind numbingly boring. So today, I have decided to leave the news behind for the day and talk about something I love: the summer film season. I will pick the five best and five worst sounding movies of the coming few months. Let us leave behind any more details from the terrible future we face and at least give us something to look forward to.

FIVE BEST SOUNDING FILMS OF SUMMER 2013

5)Iron Man 3- I liked the first two Iron Man movies but always felt that the directing and story were a little lacking. In both films, the final fight scene seemed almost tacked on and not very thrilling. Joss Whedon's, The Avengers, showed us exactly how to stage a final fight scene that was epic in scale and thrilling in nature. Shane Black takes over in his second directorial effort, his last being 2005's Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, also with Robert Downey Jr. and was quite good. The movie uses one of Iron Man greatest villains The Mandarin with Sir Ben Kingsley playing him to the hilt. It has already opened to huge overseas grosses and I expect tomorrow to see much the same here. This will be a big hit and a great movie.

4)Pacific Rim- Gullermo Del Toro is one of my favorite directors having seen everything he has ever done, including his excellent debut Cronos in the theater nonetheless. Now comes his first big budget movie with giant robots and huge, Godzilla-like monsters. Add in an international cast, including Japanese hottie Rinko Kikucki, one of the only Japanese women ever nominated for an Academy Award for Babel (which was also the only watchable part of that misfire of a movie) and Jax from Sons of Anarchy (Charlie Hunnam) and you have all the elements for a great popcorn flick. I cannot wait for this film.

3)This is the End- Reuniting the Pinapple Express cast and crew, comes this gem about a bunch of stars, playing versions of themselves, throwing a party when the end of the world begins. Seth Rogan, James Franco, Craig Robinson and Danny Mcbride all come back to join Jay Baruchel, Jonah Hill and Emma Watson in what appears to be one funny movie. The best appears to be Michael Cera playing a degenerate, cokehead version of himself. Cameos abound from what I hear and I have very highs hopes for this film as the trailer is laugh out loud funny.

2)Man of Steel- I will admit, I am usually kind of meh of Superman. I liked the first two Christopher Reeve movies and the Dean Cain TV series was entertaining but that's about it. The last Superman film was painful to sit through with giant plot holes and an Austin Powers ending. However I do like the director, other than his last turd Sucker Punch and the overwrought 300, and feel he may be the guy to bring Superman to life in a new way. The story sounds interesting with Superman struggling to NOT use his powers and General Zod (Michael Shannon) as the villain, this film has loads of promise.

1)Star Trek Into Darkness- This film can't open soon enough. I love Star Trek. It represents hope for the mankind and that is something we have precious little anymore. Add in the fact the JJ Abrams nailed it last time and this looks no different. As Benedict Cumberbatch is the still unknown villain I expect good things from this film and the trailers look amazing. I will be there day one to see this and expect there to be many others who will agree that this will almost certainly be the best film of the summer and maybe, even the year.

FIVE WORST SOUNDING FILMS OF SUMMER 2013

5)Tyler Perry Presents Peeples- Pretty much anything after TP Presents is a sure fire sign of how bad this film be. Yes I am the polar opposite of the target audience, but My God these films suck. The tone varies wildly from slapstick comedy to tearjerker and the "comedy" is so broad as to be painted with a broom. The trailers certainly are not getting any laughs in the theater when I saw it and most actually groaned at some of it. It will still make a small fortune as they are cheaply made and black people sure seem to like these movies, but it will still suck and suck hard for the rest of us. Unless you are a big fan, stay far, far away.

4)The Great Gatsby- This book adaptation has been tried numerous times in the past and it has never worked even when Robert Redford took a crack at it. I am not a big Baz Luhrmann fan, having found all of his films overblown and over directed, especially the unwatchable Romeo and Juliet. This whole film looks like it was filmed inside a snow globe and looks dazzling and pretty while having all the story momentum of a Teen Mom episode. I love Leo DeCaprio but I think this time the production may fizzle as it opens between Iron Man 3 and Star Trek. This would have better suited for Christmas 2012 when it was supposed to open. During the summer, this is going to get buried.

3)300: Rise of an Empire- I pretty much found the original pretty to look at with almost no story whatsoever. I also never thought there was much need for a sequel but leave it to Hollywood to figure one out. Gerald Butler wisely turned down returning in this series, which may be the smartest thing he ever did. I see little reason that this will do well with the only factor being it is being released in August with little competition.

2)Epic- I really, really like animated features. However, the ones coming out lately have been really bland. The Oscar for Brave was unwarranted as every other movie nominated against it was better. Brave was pretty to look at but the story was nonexistent. Now comes the first of what will be many Brave-like ripoffs, like this one. The plot has something to do with a teen girl who fights forces of evil in a forest of something. The trailers are TERRIBLE with the only redeeming factor is that there are not a lot of kids fare until much later in the summer. This will probably open well and fade fast on bad word of mouth. I have very low hopes for this.

1)World War Z- The Walking Dead is one of my favorite shows. I have seen every great zombie movie ever made at least twice and the most of the bad ones once. In all the time, not one has been rated PG-13. So with advance word coming of a complete lack of blood, also comes word that the book has been radically changed and that the studio demanded seven weeks of reshoots after dailies came back with much negative fanfare.. This film looks, sounds and smells like one of the biggest failures of the year and hiring Marc Forster was probably not the wisest move as his movies have been sluggish and dull. I am not going to see this and I am definitely the target audience here. As it opens a week after the new Superman, the same day as the promising Monsters U, and a week before White House Down, this film needs a lot luck. As the most expensive zombie movie ever made ($200m), this will also go down as the biggest failure of the year. Bet big that this movie tanks.

THREE MORE MORONS ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH THE BOSTON MARATHON MASSACRE. HERE ARE PRIME EXAMPLES OF WHY THE YOUNGER GENERATION IS SCREWED.

Regular readers know I have little faith in our police departments and even less for the FBI. That being said I fail to understand anyone who would be helping, after the fact, two of the dumbest terrorists ever. The two actual bombers, one of which was in college somehow, perpetrated a second rate attack that did nothing other than fan even more hatred toward their own religion. They let themselves get caught on camera, knowing full well the FBI had their fingerprints, profile pictures and personal data. They had NO escape plan other than some dim witted attempt to get to NYC which, ironically, blew up in their faces. These were not some grand geniuses but more bumbling fools. To quote the Violator from the movie Spawn: "Why does God get all the good ones and we get all the rejects?" Here, here.

But besides the two idiots, one dead, one who might as well be, we now know that three more people have been arrested for either helping the two terrorists dispose of evidence after the fact or lying to the FBI, both federal crimes. This is from the Huffington Post:

Federal prosecutors allege that Dias Kadyrbayev, 19, and Azamat Tazbayakov, 19, tried to conceal and destroy a laptop and backpack full of fireworks belonging to Tsarnaev, a friend from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth where they were all students at one time. They were charged with alleged conspiracy to obstruct justice by the U.S. Attorney's office in Massachusetts.
A third man, Robel Phillipos, 19, was accused of lying to law enforcement officials who questioned him about the bombing.

Phillipos called Kadyrbayev to say that Tsarnaev resembled one of the suspects in the photos released by the FBI on April 18, the affidavit said. Kadyrbayev sent text messages to Tsarnaev joking about the physical similarities. Tsarnaev wrote back saying "lol" and "you better not text me," which Kadyrbayev didn't take seriously, the affidavit said.

The three friends met in Tsarnaev's dorm room that night even though he wasn't there, according to Kadyrbayev's statements. While watching a movie, they noticed a backpack containing fireworks that had been emptied of the explosive powder.

"Kadyrbayev knew when he saw the empty fireworks that Tsarnaev was involved in the Marathon bombing," Agent Scott Cieplik swore in his affidavit. He then "decided to remove the backpack from the room in order to help his friend Tsarnaev avoid trouble."

He also took Tsarnaev's laptop, because he thought it would appear less suspicious to Tsarnaev's roommate, who was also in the dorm room. Tzahayakov told authorities that they also took a jar of Vaseline, which they believed might have been used to produce bombs.

Kadyrbayev allegedly told investigators that he threw the computer and backpack into the garbage after they agreed to try to protect Tsarnaev.

Cieplik's affidavit said that Phillipos gave inconsistent statements over four interviews with law enforcement. During the first three sessions, he, at times, denied taking the backpack and laptop from Tsarnaev's dorm and at other points he claimed not to remember what transpired.
During the fourth interview, Phillipos allegedly admitted that he had lied and then gave a revised statement similar to what Kadyrbayev and Tazhayakov told authorities. He claimed that they met at Tsarnaev's room, searched his belongings and took his backpack before heading to the apartment that Kadyrbayev and Tazhayakov share.

Kadyrbayev and Tazhayakov "started to freak out, because it became clear from a CNN report that we were watching that Jahar [Tsarnaev's nickname] was one of the Boston Marathon bombers," Philipos recalled to authorities.

Phillipos said he was left out of the "majority" of the conversation, because Kadyrbayev and Tazhayakov spoke to each other in Russian. He told authorities that Kadyrbayev asked what should be done with the backpack and fireworks they took.

"Do what you have to do," Phillipos allegedly told him before taking a two-hour nap.
When he woke up, the bag was gone and he "did not know for sure who took it from the apartment," the affidavit said
.
The backpack was found on April 26 in a New Bedford landfill, the affidavit said.

If convicted, Kadyrbayev and Tahayakov face five years in prison while Phillipos could be locked up for eight if found guilty.

"Inside the backpack, the agents recovered fireworks, a jar of Vaseline, and a UMass-Dartmouth homework assignment sheet," which came from a class Tsarnaev was taking this semester, the affidavit said.

Kadyrbayev and Tazhayako garnered separate unwanted attention for a BMW they drove sporting a vanity license plate that read, "Terrorista #1." CNN reports that they claim the plate was given to them as a joke from friends in Spain. A picture circling the Internet shows a "UMASS DARTMOUTH" tag on the plate as well.

Wow. Who drives around with a licence plate that says Terrorista #1? It would be like Ted Bundy driving around with RAPEKILL on the back of his car. And none of these brain powers, all of whom were in Dartmouth for God's sake, didn't think that even though the FBI can be dense as all getout, even they would be able to piece the puzzle together here? The first call they should have made after talking with a wanted terrorist should have been right to the FBI. Anything else was going to destroy their lives, which it now has. Any life here is over. They are going to get jail time and, immediately afterward, two will be deported back to their home country. The other, a US citizen, better like digging ditches because that is the only work he is ever going to get. No college will ever accept him and I doubt many will be lining up to hire him once his prison stint is done. They are SO screwed.

If this was a lone experience I wouldn't feel so bad but there are many, many more just like these guys. We shuttle our kids through school with rote memory dumps and no clear understanding how anything works. Half of those getting into college can barely read or write which makes me question how they got into college in the first place. Their parents are so overworked and underpaid that they barely have time to spend any time with their kids at all. And all of this is through a haze of violent video games, mind numbing TV and terrible, terrible books (Twilight comes to mind). I have no problem with any of that by the way, as long as parents are involved, and they are not.

Unless we start changing the way we live, the upcoming generations will be bull stupid, thick and most likely, fat. We need some common sense. And considering how Congress acts worse than even these three knuckleheads who have ruined their lives, covering for a friend, we are in deep, deep shit.

THE US ENDS DEMOCRACY FOR UNBRIDLED GREED. HOW WE ARE BECOMING A THIRD WORLD NATION.

Anyone with a brain knows we no longer live in a democracy. It was on it's way out when Citizen's United put the final nail in that coffin. According to the very definition of the word FASCISM, a combination of government and corporate power on equal basis, that has come to fruition just as the powers that be tried in the 40's with the failed coup de tat against Roosevelt. The elites just waited it out and installed it eventually anyway. That is a long term strategy. In the past I showed how every fascist regime of the 20th century has 14 points that defined such a state. We also are implementing all 14 now as well meaning welcome to the new Reich. We could also be described as a Banana Republic, Kleptocracy or Ogliarchy. But the one that really hurts is the Third World Nation status which are rapidly becoming. Don't believe me? Let's look at how third world nations operate in concordance with how we do things. You'll be surprised to see little difference.

First is out of control debt situation. We are spending WAY more than we are bringing in, and instead of cutting crap we don't need, the government wants austerity measures that have proven to be an abject failure every time they are implemented. Look at Greece and Spain for God's sake. Third world nations have huge debt that is being to used to control all infrastructure and banking rules. In Bolivia, private corporations have control of the water supply, something being looked at here as well. States likes Colorado have passed laws that make it illegal to collect rainwater. How soon before all of us have to pay to drink clean water?

Income inequality is rampant in third world nations were an elite few control all the money while the masses starve in the streets. Sounds like Detroit to me. Our income inequality is the greatest ever seen in human history, especially if my hypothesis of trillions being hoarded by the greedy few is true. That difference between rich and poor has tripled over the last few decades with more and more forced onto government programs because jobs no longer pay a livable wage in most places. If you ae not making at least $50,000 a year, you are going to have a hard time saving any money, especially if you have children. As two thirds of this country makes far less than that, collapse is inevitable.

Slavery is alive and well. We now have debtors prisons again and private corporations that are using the inhabitants as literal slaves for jobs that would pay much, much higher in the real world. Customer service jobs are being insourced into prisons where they have access to credit card numbers and personal info. How safe does that make you feel?

Our health care system is one of the most expensive and the least useful. In all honesty, some third world nations, like Cuba, have a better health care system then we do, with a far lower infant mortality rate, more doctors per person, and it's freakin' Cuba. The right is way off base when the claim out health care system is the best in the world. It's not even in the top forty. As someone who has seen the health care system closely these last few years, let me tell you, it is ungodly expensive and kinda crappy. In this country don't get sick. And if you do, die quick.

Our personal freedoms are being chipped away more and more in the name of "safety." Our TSA needlessly molests people to get on a plane and they are still talking about moving it out into the streets. DHS is stockpiling huge sums of ammo, arms and other things that could easily be used against us. Our Constitution is in shreds and all anyone wants to talk about is the 2nd one. They all matter, even if I agree some of it needs to be updated like an end to trial by a jury of your peers and perhaps even changing the amount of senators per state. There are few freedoms in third world nations and we are rapidly joining them

Our media is pure propaganda now where Goebbels would have been proud of. Fox news is the right wing shill channel, MSNBC the leftie revolution and CNN is for the retarded. I watched Anthony Bourdain's new show recently and was struck by how awful it was. I loved him on Travel Channel. When he went to eat at a Sizzler in LA I nearly threw up. CNN sucks. We get no news lately other than fantasy and government statements. No one digs deeper on any level, except places like here, and I find it sad that I have to be the voice of reason for millions. Third world nations have strict control over their media and so do we.

So there you have it. America is becoming a third world nation as businesses outsource all manufacturing overseas which is depressing wages and literally killing our economy. Our income equality is growing, out infrastructure is being sold out to foreign groups and slavery is only a heart beat away. And all anyone cares about lately is who got voted off the Voice last night. Shameful.

DOUCHEBAGS OF THE WEEK: THE BOSTON BOMBERS

As my computer was infected with space herpes last week this will be a double issue covering the last two weeks for which there were many, many douchebags. Let's see those runner ups.

1)The owner of the West, Texas Fertilizer Planet that Exploded- This ass had NO sprinklers or fire suppression system, 1350 times the amount of ammonia nitrate that he was legally allowed to have and no common sense. I hope the town lynches him.

2)Regulators- For all the right wing idiots out there spouting about how regulation is killing the economy, I give you this example of how lack of regulations is killing actual people. OSHA hadn't visited the plant since 1985, and even the EPA proved their worthlessness with a paltry fine in 2007. Did no one notice the serious lack of sprinklers in a place where there HAS to be sprinklers? I am all for disbanding the EPA and replacing it with something else if they are this fucking blind or greedy. This is why Texas is the place to be for business. They don't care if people die as long as the business owners make money off it.

3)North Korea- Kim Jong Un has been quiet these last few weeks, perhaps realizing that kicking a wounded tiger is probably the best way to get eaten. Let's hope he stays that way. It won't happen, but I can dream.

4)Regal Theaters- In what can only be described as "how to drive a business into the ground" strategy, Regal theaters has ignored the huge backlash against any company using Obamacare as an excuse to cut workers hours and has done just that. Facebook exploded with negative comments, just like Papa John's which saw a huge decrease in sales as a result. Darden restaurants, which include Longhorn and Olive Garden, quickly backpedaled the idea after their sales also went south. Regal faces a similar outcome. This flies in the face of the fact that the CEO is making millions, along with top executives, while the employees face no health care. Amy Miles is one greedy bitch. I hope she and her entire family get cancer.

5)Mark Sanford- Proving my point that Republicans would vote for Hitler if he had an R after his name, disgraced politician Sanford recently won a primary vote in South Carolina for senate. Never mind the fact that he was run out of office for having an affair with an Argentinian woman where he would disappear to for weeks on end leaving the state with no leader, but was recently discovered to have violated a restraining order against him by his now ex-wife. The GOP pulled all funds from this moron and stands to lose to Stephen Colbert's sister which means there might actually be a democrat in an ultra red state. Anyone who voted to put this ass back into a position of power is no better.

6)The FBI- These assholes have had a really bad week. I LOATHE the FBI because they seem to be a giant bunch of fuckups who cannot get their stories straight ever. We don't see this behavior in any other authoritative group, not the CIA, not the Secret Service, not even DHS. Why? This week we saw conflicting reports coming out of the FBI regarding the Boston Bombers. We now know the older brother had been investigated by you in 2011. That means you had pictures, names and addresses on file as to who they were. Once the video of the terrorists came out, facial recognition should have alerted the exact person you were looking for. Yet, for some inane reason, you failed to alert the public as to their identities, calling for America to identify people you should have already known everything about. WHY? And then came the ricin attack where, once again, you arrested the wrong guy. It doesn't exactly fill me with confidence that the second guy you have arrested is guilty either. You guys are still insisting that Bruce Irvins was the Anthrax killer, even though the NIST called your evidence some of the worst detective work ever seen and would have been eviscerated in court. Thank God Irvins killed himself by your incessive hounding huh? Can we please disband the FBI, DEA and EPA and try again already?

7)The Boston Police- True these guys did a decent job taking two terrorists off the street and I still don't have problem with shutting down a city to grab them, but my God, could you please stop lying to us. We know you shot at an unarmed kid, which should have been readily apparent two seconds after he got out of the boat. We know you knew the exact names of the people you were searching for. Every time the narrative changes, conspiracy theories will abound as people will NOT believe anything else you have to say. Transparency in today's day and age is paramount to a free society. It also doesn't help that for all those people who say we are NOT living in a police state, the overly militarized police pictures we saw were kind of frightening. If you want my reason why I don't support most gun control laws, there it was for all to see. If cops have automatic weapons, so should the public.

8)The Media- Holy crap was the media terrible these past few weeks, especially CNN and John King, who I cannot believe still has a job. CNN made blunder after blunder, especially after King said his sources told him a suspect had been caught, which he wasn't, and then gave a description of the bomber, which was also inaccurate. The New York Post ran pictures, seen here on a previous post, of two innocent spectators at the Marathon who had the unfortunate distinction of being Middle eastern and completely innocent. I ran a retraction minutes after posting it when I realized that these were not the droids they were looking for. Stop speculating and reports confirmed facts. I do and I have a smidgen of your budget.

9)Democrats- Four democrats voted against universal background checks, something 90% of the country wants and proves my death of democracy thinking. We need to eliminate the filibuster already and go back to the 50% rule because nothing is going to get done until we do. The Democrats had a chance to do just that at the beginning of the year but balked at the last minute should they somehow be in the minority again, which there is a fat chance of that. These soul suckers also helped pass the FAA furlough bill so they wouldn't be stuck on the tarmac like ordinary people and killed a provision that eliminated insider trading, which Obama also signed into law. What a bunch of dicks.

10)Republicans- These assholes killed Universal Background checks against the wishes of the constituents. Eric Holder has proposed a law that would end overtime pay for hourly workers. And that is the least crazy things they did this past week. The Iowa Senate filed an amendment that would lower the salaries of the four State Supreme Court Justices who voted down an anti-abortion bill. Oddly, the Supreme Court there will almost certainly strike this law down. House Republicans voted for the 37th time to repeal Obamacare, with the same results defining the word insanity and wasting millions in taxpayer money. Fox News, Newt Gingrich and Ray Canterbury have all championed the idea of ending child labor laws so kids on free meal programs can "earn their keep." Pat Robertson said this bit of nonsense:

Margaret Sanger “was the one who set the stage for Adolf Hitler…he copied her,” Robertson insisted, citing Google as his evidence. “What they said was, they said ‘what we’ve got to do in order to get the black people in America to have abortions, we have to have some noted black leader who will come out for Planned Parenthood and we’ll give him the Margaret Sanger Award and therefore he will be our poster boy showing the black people they should have abortions,” Robertson added.”It was strictly genocide."

Then there is Glenn Beck who, like many deranged individuals, is saying the Boston Bombings were all a Black Opts program. Check this piece out from the National Memo:

Yet again, Glenn Beck claims at least a share of the number one spot on the list, this time for his crazy, libelous claims about the Boston Marathon bombing. For the past week, Beck has relentlessly claimed that a Saudi victim of the attack is actually an al Qaeda operative who recruited the Tsarnaev brothers to carry out the bombing — a fact that the Obama administration has, naturally, covered up. Although Beck’s latest conspiracy is easily debunked — even by a guest on his own show — he is sticking with it, insisting that the cover-up “is so far beyond Benghazi” that it’s criminal, and an irreversible turning point in American history.

What sets this story apart from all of Beck’s other wild conspiracies is the fact that an elected official has bought into it. As Steve Benen notes on his MaddowBlog, New Hampshire representative Stella Tremblay (R-Auburn) has voiced her agreement with Beck, posting on his Facebook page that events have unfolded “just as you said would happen.”
“The Boston Marathon was a Black Ops ‘terrorist’ attack. One suspect killed, the other one will be too before they even have a chance to speak. Drones and now ‘terrorist’ attacks by our own Government. Sad day, but a ‘wake up’ to all of us,” the elected official wrote. Tremblay went on to cite conspiracy nut Alex Jones as another clairvoyant who, like Beck, knows the truth about the federal government’s evil deeds.
Reached by phone to clarify her remarks, Tremblay told a local paper that “she had suspicions of some kind of plot involving Secretary of State John Kerry, Saudi nationals, and ‘black ops’ soldiers at the scene of the marathon.”
As Benen concluded: “Say hello to the Glenn Beck wing of the Republican Party.”

It is unbelievable that people are still voting for nonsense like this.

11)Conspiracy Theorists- Let me say this for the cheap seats: THERE IS NO GRAND CONSPIRACY IN THE BOSTON BOMBINGS. Yes the media lied, because that is what they do in their attempt to one up the competition. And yes the police made many misstatements some accidentally, others to cover up their own boobery. But these two guys did it. Terrorism exists and not everything is a false flag attack. Stop acting like a tin foil hat moron guys. Your making us all look bad.

12)The Boston Bombers- Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum are two of the dumbest mother fuckers on the planet. Did they not think they would be identified seconds after planting the bomb? If the FBI has your face on file, don't you think they will come for you eventually? And much like George W Bush, they had no exit plan. They tried to carjack a car to get to NYC because their's was broken and then picked one with no gas. That's Karma. The one that lived will be spending a miserable existence locked in a small cell 23 hours a day with no TV, radio or contact with the outside world. Welcome to hell. Until we kill you and then really, Welcome to HELL. So congratulations you terrorist fuckwads, you are douchebags of the week.

REPUBLICANS LIE, LIE, LIE AND LIE SOME MORE. WHY ARE PEOPLE STILL BUYING THEIR KOOL AID?

Anyone still voting for any Republican at this point and time needs to get some serious psychiatric help. These people are no better than the battered wife who stays with their abusive husband because "she still loves him." Please. Let's start with the latest fiasco which is one of their own making.

Contrary to popular belief among the right, the sequester is causing real problems for real people. Pundits like Michael Reagan wrote the day after the sequester went into effect that the democrats where all crying about it while nothing had happened yet. The key word there was yet. This week, 15,000 FAA air traffic controllers were furloughed sending plane travel into a tail spin and causing long delays at major airports. Republicans cried foul that the democrats were using this to make them look bad and other solutions were readily available. In actuality, the way the law was written BY REPUBLICANS, said they couldn't do anything but this. So the GOP caused all of this mess and then had the tenacity to blame everyone but themselves. Christ on a stick, how dumb do they think most of us are?

These cuts are already harming cancer patients, closing pre-schools, and ending food programs for the elderly. And the GOP wants even more austerity, flying in the face that they have been a miserable failure overseas. And this is the same group that keeps comparing the Democrats to Greece when the actuality is that they themselves are much more akin to out counterparts across the pond.

Now mind you this all happened right before the Congress goes home for the weekend so God forbid, their flight should be delayed. Here is what one senator had to say:

"It's totally outrageous. The people who are whining the most are the ones who made this happen," said Rep. Peter Welch (D-Vt.). "They wake up and they're shocked, absolutely shocked, when their flight home is delayed. So they take immediate action to carve out an exception that benefits them and the most well-heeled Americans, by and large."

Welch, who voted against the sequestration bill in 2011, said, "What we should be doing is not carving out an exception so members of Congress don't have to have delayed flights. We should be coming up with a fix for the whole sequester. Why is it that the one inconvenience where the howling is the greatest and affects the people who are least affected overall by the sequester, that one gets fixed and it happens to be members of Congress?

"This is hypocrisy writ large," Welch added. "John Boehner said he got over 98 percent of what he wanted [in the sequester law], and now he's complaining. This was a policy that by design was going to inflict punishment on the American people, and he's carving out the ones who have the most access to their members of Congress."

"We're all in this together or we're not," Welch said. "This picking and choosing where the winners continue to be the haves and the losers tend to be the have-nots -- it's just a spiral down, and it's a sad day in Congress that instead of attacking the real problem that we created, we carve out an exception that's going to benefit members of Congress themselves."

We also found out recently that Eric Cantor is proposing a bill that would eliminate overtime pay for hourly workers. Because that is exactly what the American people want is less money, is it? These are what they should be fighting for:

• guaranteeing employees can earn paid sick days.
• making family and medical leave more accessible and affordable.
• fixing the minimum wage to adjust for lost value and index it to inflation. (If the minimum wage had kept pace with inflation, it would be $10.56 per hour and for productivity $21 an hour.)
• guaranteeing minimum hours and predictable schedules, so that millions of workers can earn enough and plan their family time.
• passing equal pay measures.
• removing barriers to collective bargaining.

None of those are even being debated by either side. What we have are two sides of the same coin. One is a fascist, corporate, slave trader side and the other is slightly shinier. Other than politicians like Elizabeth Warren, we have few friends in government that are actually looking out for us. Certainly not Obama, not Pelosi, not Reid, not anyone on the right. We are losing everything we fought for and one of the main reasons is we keep voting in idiots like Michelle Bachmann, Ted Cruz, Eric Cantor and others who are intent on destroying the American way of life forever.

If you make less than $250,000 a year and are still voting for the right, you are effectively voting to put yourself in the poorhouse and perhaps even jail, as debtors prisons are back in many states. Is that really what you want?

Thank God the Senate isn't controlled by the GOP because we would be free falling into empty space by now. The Senate killed the awful CISPA bill which was a slap in the face to the Constitution, allowing employees to demand Facebook passwords and other information they have no business having. It was Big Brother for real and for now it is dead. Vote in a Republican majority however and watch all this come back to haunt us.

The GOP is having problems with the ill advised vote against background checks which some 90% of the American public wanted. Can anyone out their name another bill which had such high support NOT passing? Some candidates in 2014, including the four democrats who voted against it, may be out on their ear as recent polls shows hostility toward anyone who voted no. I am all for background checks to buy weapons in every circumstance, including from family and friends. It won't help stop most gun violence but it is a step in the right direction. Opening state hospitals for the mentally unbalanced and ending the drug war would be a big help in eliminating gun deaths as well, something no one in Congress is proposing. Sigh.

We falling down a huge hill and picking up speed. Some of us are not even trying to stop. STOP VOTING FOR REPUBLICANS TO END THIS SLIDE. It's not that I trust the democrats but at least they are not the party of stupidity with a complete lack of reason.

THE BOSTON BOMBERS, THE WEST WAREHOUSE EXPLOSION AND THE RICIN ATTACKS. LET THE CONSPIRACY THEORIES BEGIN.

A lot has happened this past week, and all the while Congress either repealed or passed draconian laws that flew under the radar. But we'll get to that later. First, there has been a vast amount of armchair sleuthing and, truth be told, most of you out there suck at it. From blogs repeating suspect knowledge from dubious media sources, to the media itself for regurgitating every factoid that comes across their desk without confirmation, to police and FBI stories that keeps changing day by day, this story has already been altered to death. To quote Pogo: "I have seen the enemy and he is us."

Let's start with the biggest story, the Boston Bombers. Many are claiming the two were set up, that they were double agents, that they were connected with Al Queda. None of that was true. We need to accept that not every bombing is some grand conspiracy. Yes, OKC has major flaws in the narrative and the military's story during 9/11 was proven false by the 9/11 Commission and yet nothing was done about it and no one was fired. However, this appears to be the case that two young radicals attacked the USA for religious reasons, which are never logical. I have looked at all of the evidence and only a few things sound suspicious and even that I can rationalize away for less treasonous reasons.

The main reason I know this isn't a conspiracy is that the amount of people involved in this story would be immense. There is no way that many people will keep quiet about something this big. Both OKC and 9/11 could have been done by far fewer people with definitive reasons to keep their mouths shut (money, power and the threat of death). No this conspiracy arose by a far more likely suspect: incompetence on a staggering scale.

The media sure didn't help by repeating every thing they heard in the world's largest game of telephone, with equally predictable results. John King of CNN looked the fool he is when he said erroneously that a suspect had been arrested in the Boston Bombings the day after the attack, which as we all know now, was wrong. All week we got misleading information and some made a true stretch of the imagination to blame right wing lunatics on this attack, even though that profile was obviously wrong. As I said in a previous post, right wingers attack IRS, FBI and other government targets, not innocent people, except as collateral damage.

Then we have the police and the FBI who I will both congratulate and admonish. They did a great job catching a killer on the loose and, regardless of what some are saying, completely agree with them locking down Boston and the area until he was found. This is not martial law, this is common sense. The last thing you want is some asshole with a backpack of bombs getting into an area with lots of people. However, the fact that the official story keeps changing by the hour is getting tiresome and is causing no one to believe anything they say. Have they never read "The Boy That Cried Wolf?"

Today, it came out that the 2nd Bomber, had no guns on him, or weapons of any kind. So why the sudden attack of gunfire heard at the scene? If he obviously didn't shoot himself as claimed, and even I admit he doesn't look injured getting out of the boat, what really happened? Who was the naked guy getting into the car, which I saw happen live on TV. As A Boston area native I have a better perspective on all of this than many and got to watch local news do a far better job than the big networks. If he was nobody, please release his information so we can clear this up as I am fairly positive he was a guy in the wrong place at the wrong time who had the unfortunate reality of looking like the suspect. We do have more than one guy who looks like Bomber 1 in the area after all. I watched others get arrested on live TV that night as well who were white and no one is asking questions about them.

All of this is being caused by a police department and FBI acting like the Internet doesn't exist. Information has to be released much faster now or your life is going to get even harder as no one will trust you anymore and more nonsense like this is going to happen. You guys must have known their names when you released their pictures, so why didn't you? Why does your story keep changing weeks after the event? I think there is cover up here but it has less to do a grand conspiracy and more likely a trigger happy police force and general incompetence, readily seen.

Speaking of incompetence, the reason for the West, Texas explosion is in and it appears that the complete lack of any sort of regulations in this country, and especially Texas, is to blame. The building had NO sprinklers or fire suppression system of any kind. It hadn't been seen by government regulators since 1985. The end result is the deaths of 14 people and West, Texas looking like the end of Castle Rock in Needful Things. Republicans who are fighting for less regulation should look at this as a wake up call. They won't, but they should.

And then there is Paul Kevin Curtis, who turned out to be completely innocent as I also said was a distinct possibility on a previous post. He could have been nuts, but now his story about the feds out to get him rings much truer as well as the Body Part ring he claimed to have witnessed. A second suspect has been named and we will see where that goes. There are some facts that support him as the ricin poisoner, but let's wait and see where that goes.

While all of this was going on, Republicans unwisely shot down the background check law which seems to be having a devastating effect of some poll ratings. Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) has seen her numbers plummet 15 points overnight and close to 30 with moderates. She is not up for re-election until 2016, but this vote may haunt her until then. When 90% of the people want something, it should pass. But we don't actually live in a democracy anymore and here is living proof.

Then these douchbags also helped kill a provision that would have protected employees from having to give the Facebook passwords to their employees. I thought you guys were all about the Constitution and freedom? Oh that's right, you only care about the 2nd Amendment and the rest are just guidelines right? Both sides get a huge middle finger for repealing the STOCK act that put some small brakes on the Congressional money train using insider trading and one of the few bills former MA senator Scott Brown helped pass. Obama signed it as well. What a bunch of fuckers.

The news are all lies, the police and Feds can't be trusted at their word and the government is screwing us blue. It's just another wonderful day here in the United States of AmeriKa. And that's all stuff that just happened in the last ten days. Ugh, my head hurts. So should yours.

After a long week, my computer is virus free again. Sure am glad nothing important happened this week (add deep sarcasm there)! There has been a lot of talk about government conspiracies and the only one that holds any water right now is the one the fewest amount of people are talking about. The Boston Bombers are guilty. West Texas exploded due to massive stupidity and a complete lack of regulations, just like the Republicans have been clamoring for. While the ricin attacks look for a new perp as they guy they had already convicted turned out to be completely innocent. Which one of those stories is the most interesting? Tomorrow we will look into all of that, plus the crap Congress passed quietly while no one was paying attention.

Regular readers on this site know I am not one to immediately scream "CONSPIRACY" at the top of my lungs every time something happens. 90% of all the things you read on the Internet are about as reliable as the Nightly News. However, every now and then things start to look awfully wonky when you start looking at them closely and the events of the past week suggest something very different than what is being portrayed.

The Boston Marathon Massacre has all the signs of one of two groups, Muslims or someone trying very hard to make it look like Muslims did it. The West, Texas explosion has the same hallmarks of a terrorist attack, with the same results. The government seems to be involved in stalling information getting out to the public and, perhaps, even deliberately misleading the public for one very good reason: they don't want a panic. If Muslim sleeper cells are involved in multiple attacks upon the country, the last thing the government is going to do is tell us that. The absolute panic that would ensue would be catastrophic to innocent Muslim families across the country and they know it. This information is going to be kept under wraps for as long as humanly possible.

Let's look at the evidence that is rapidly piling up at this point. The FBI has been suddenly tight lipped as hell about arrests, suspects, even photos of the alleged bombers. A news conference set for yesterday was postponed indefinitely and DHS is still debating releasing photos of the two(?) bombers from crowd photos. Going through the photos comes up with pictures of these two:

They seem to be wearing the insignia and outfits from the security company, Craft. I do not believe they were involved in doing anything more than crowd surveillance. These two however are another matter:

These two may be the suspects that the FBI is looking for. Both are carrying bags and one appears to to have left it at bomb scene one, which fits the description. Look at the backpack he is wearing:

The bottom of the bag appears heavy, pointed and roughly the shape of a pressure cooker bomb. Mind you, this is all pure speculation and these two may turn out to be innocent. If anyone recognizes them though, they should report it to the authorities immediately.

UPDATE:

The teen in the photo has been identified as Salah Baroun, 17, and is not considered a suspect at this time. This means there are no good photos seen yet of any suspected bomber(s)?

If two bombers are indeed being looked for, as some reports say, this signifies a bigger deal than some lone nutbag. Over the past three days, we have seen a ricin attack, an attack on a California electric and gas substation, the attempted cutting of an AT&T optic cable, two bombings at the Boston Marathon, a suspicious fire at the JFK Library in Boston and now, a huge explosion in West, Texas at a fertilizer plant. That's a lot of coincidence for anyone.

The ricin attack appears to have nothing to do with any of this. The alleged perp, Paul Kevin Curtis, has already been arrested and that story is a whole other level of weird. Chances are most likely, that Curtis is a raving loon who's arrest surprised no one. He has a history of criminal arrests, all misdemeanors and a supposed mental illness. Curtis was fired from his job at North Mississippi Medical Center supposedly for uncovering some sort of international body part ring. After suing to get his job back, he allegedly was harassed by the police, while the powers that be destroyed his family, killed his pets and burned both his house and car to the ground. According to Curtis, everyone who has tried to help him at the hospital has been fired and two attorneys he hired are both in jail. So either Curtis is a raving loon, a distinct possibility, or he's being framed to shut him up and that ricin was placed there after he sent the letters. It is impossible to know which is which, although I'd still bet on nutbag first.

But that has nothing to do with the West, Texas explosion which shouldn't have happened short of three possibilities. One, it was a freak occurrence where everything that could have gone wrong did. This is the least likely scenario. Two, the owner cut corners to maximize profits and disaster ensued. Very possible. And three, a terrorist attack. Possible. The bad news for the owners is that short of the minute possibility of the first hypothesis, he's is so screwed. If it was negligence, he may face jail time. If it was terrorism, that isn't covered in most insurance policies and he is still out of luck.

Here is the kicker: even if it turns out to be terrorism, I am not entirely sure they will tell us it was. The fire at the JFK Library had the arson squad out there today and, knowing what I know about fire deductions, spotting the difference between a naturally occurring fire and a bomb is pretty apparent. Unless they though something was off, the arson squad shouldn't even be there. The fact that the local police are still not releasing much information about it is a red flag. It has not been confirmed as an electric fire or a bombing yet. Why the delay?

Because it looks awfully suspicious that a huge fire breaks out just one half hour after the Boston Marathon Massacre. It is that same suspicion about all the other events that have transpired over the last few days. The government will cover this up, not to blind us from their own misdeeds, but for the panic this may well evolve into.

There is some evidence that suggests the FBI and others know far more than they are letting in. 20-year-old Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi, the Saudi student who was the first suspect named, is being deported as we speak. Why we have no idea. Maybe his student Visa expired. Maybe it is something else, but it is highly unusual according to terrorism experts. This has happened in the past after 9/11 when Saudi nationals were evacuated from the US before any other plane hit the skies.

Obama also received an unscheduled visit from the Saudi Foreign Prime Minister yesterday. What was so important that they needed to meet this hastily? A scheduled 10 AM photo op between the Foreign PM and John Kerry was also abruptly cancelled at the last minute because Kerry said "he was tired," a fact no one in the press was buying. Associated Press’ Matt Lee told spokesman Patrick Ventrell, “I find it hard to believe that you expect us to believe that that’s the real reason for this.”

It has also come out that Ali Alharbi's last name is well known in terrorist circles and may be one of the reasons he is being deported. He may have had nothing to do with the attack but why take chances. Or are the Saudis getting preferential treatment once again?

There is a chance that the nation is under attack, perhaps by Saudi radicals, which if true, has incredible foreign policy implications that could shake this country apart. It is a very good reason why all this is being kept so hush hush but by doing so, is also putting more and more Americans at risk from future attacks.

We must remain vigilant these coming days. Every thing and everyone could be a target. If there are terrorist cells working within the states, be very afraid if you even look like you are from the Middle East. There are some panicky morons out there and when this comes out, and it will eventually, it may not be safe to walk down the street. The longer the government covers any of this up, the worse the final outcome is going to be.

3RD UPDATE 2:57 PM 4/17/13

Authorities have confirmed a suspect has been identified through video of a nearby Lord and Taylor's that shows a person leaving a bag near the bomb site and using a cell phone shortly afterward. Cell phone records from nearby cell towers will link the suspect to a possible name. Earlier reports about an arrest appear to be par for the course for our entirely unreliable MSM who once again have jumped the gun with misleading, or in this case, false information. With the world's attention on them, it was unlikely that the perp was going to be anonymous for long. A press conference has been called for five o'clock to update the public, and after which another update may appear should new info be released.

Many are saying, and rightfully so by the way, that we all better hope the guy responsible is some random white guy with a grudge. Because if it turns out to be some Middle Eastern schmuck with an agenda, this country is going to explode in anger against anyone who even looks remotely like they are from the region. We have already seen several attacks in the past on Indian Seeks by idiots that confused them with Muslims. This country is already set to broil with all the problems we are having and if some dumbass is stupid enough to start poking the tiger with a stick, that anger is going to laser focused on anyone who even resembles a terrorist. Expect Mosque, business and even home burnings, random deadly attacks on innocent people and an air of outright hostility from many towards anyone from that region. The US will be as friendly to Middle Easterners as Saudi Arabia is to Jews. This is will get ugly fast. Those interment camps we built may soon be filled with these people if public outcry reaches a boiling point. Don't think that the Japanese being held in the 1940's won't happen again, except to whole different group this time.

There is also the recent mail attacks using ricin against the President and a senator. A gas and electric substation in California was attacked by a rifle while the same guy fifteen minutes later tried to cut a optic powerline. 10,000 gallons of oil leaked from the attack and the suspect is still at large. American Airlines experienced a catastrophic loss of computers shutting down their whole network and causing massive delays. Are these all connected? Are we under attack? These are the same kind of things that happened right after 9/11. Are they happening again?

2ND UPDATE 1:15 PM 4/16/13

Just like every other major news story over the last few years, the MSM rushes to get info out that is always proven to be wrong later. This leads to stories about cover ups and false flag operations, neither of which do I believe happened here. The attack was on too small scale to be of an any major importance and has all the hallmarks of a single, insane person.

Some are still making hay over the guy seen on a nearby rooftop where is exactly the kind of place I would be standing to watch such an event. On the 4th of July, I go to a rooftop party every year and watch the police command center across the street with snipers readily seen overlooking the Boston riverfront. There has been no credible evidence that speakers were overheard saying "this is just a drill" right before the blast as no video has surfaced showing any of that and there are dozens on videos out there now. As for the bomb sniffing dogs along the race, they have been out there for as long as I can remember and I have been to the Boston Marathon several times over the last decade. The funny part is, had I gone this year, I would have been standing very near where those bombs went off. Even the reports of multiple bombs that didn't go off seem to have been nothing. Reports of an unexploded bomb found on 600 Boylston appear to be false at this time.

The bomb itself and the target suggests that the most likely suspect at this time is going to be a single radicalized Muslim, probably here on a Visa. The Saudi suspect originally talked to appears to be nothing more than an innocent bystander at this time, but I do believe the perp will turn out to be someone very much like him. The reasons why are two fold. First off, the target itself suggest Muslim radicals as this is more an attack on America suggesting Islamic radical not right wing extremist whose targets would more likely be the IRS, DHS or other government entities. Even the OKC bombing, for which many questions still remain unanswered, was allegedly attacked by right wing nutjobs going after government offices inside, many of which were unbelievably empty that day by the way. Homegrown radicals would not be attacking innocent bystanders and the very core of patriotism. Radical Muslims would. Second, the bomb itself, a pressure cooker loaded with nails and ball bearings, suggests ties to foreign IED's that are very similar to ones used in places like Afghanistan and Pakistan. In the attempted Times Square bombing in 2010, similar devices were used but failed to explode.

The thing is the chances of us figuring out who did it is extraordinarily high. There are cameras EVERYWHERE on that block. There are banks and expensive items speciality shops that have outside cameras, not to mention the gagillion people taking video and pictures. The odds are very high that a suspect will be found in the next few weeks. More than likely he will turn out to be another radicalized idiot following yet another stupid religious ideology. Can we all please enter the 21st century and start turning our backs on these outdated, dangerous beliefs? You can believe in God all you want. Just stop making the rest us follow your moronic lead.

UPDATE 8:25 PM

The death toll stands at two, including an eight year old girl, and over a hundred injured. Unconfirmed rumors from multiple sources say a Saudi national here on a student visa is being treated at a local hospital and is a person of interest in the attack. Should this be the case, I would expect a huge backlash against all Muslims here in this country, assuming of course that he isn't the fall guy for this should it be a false flag operation. Either way, should some Muslim extremist get the blame, expect attacks on innocent Muslims to rise significantly.

Some posts and saying they saw military and law enforcement on rooftops which they deemed suspicious. It isn't. I have been in the Boston area for the race, 4th of July, and even New Year's. The police and military routinely watch from rooftops for suspicious activity. On the 4th of July every year, a police and FBI spot is always across the street on a nearby rooftop which overlooks the Hatch shell. Snipers can be seen in the lower floors just below the roof. This is not unusual. Neither are drills which I can tell you they do every year on the fourth. This does not say that a false flag was not the cause but that is still something we will have to look into more evidence on. The fact that the precious metals and stock market tanked today at the same time does give one pause for concern. The day before 9/11, $2.3 trillion went missing after which no one said boo about it. Could this be something similar?

A terrorist attack has just been done against the Boston Marathon, injuring dozens and killing at least two. Two explosions blocks from one another, most likely from trash cans, have been filmed going off seconds apart near the finish line. This would suggest a single person who walked down the street and dropped some innocuous looking object into the trash and was away before they exploded.

A third device has been reported to have gone off at the JFK Library but that has not been confirmed with conflicting reports as to whether they are connected or not. Early reports suggested the third explosion was a fire that broke out for normal reasons, but the latest press conference by the governor said they think they may still be connected. More on that as information is released. There have also been unconfirmed reports of two other devices that did not go off along the same route. As with any tragedy, early reports are famously wrong and any connections with a cover up should be taken with a grain of salt.

However, I would like to point out three facts about the bombing today. One, several sites I was on early today talked about the extreme likelihood of a false flag attack that was imminent to divert attention away from the gold and stock market crashes because, if you look closely at both, you will see signs that they were tampered with. The fact that such an attack happened hours after being published is quite astonishing. The second and far lesser known fact is that today starts the first day of the week long Feast Days of Baal. This runs from the 15th to the 21st and is known throughout history as being a brutal week for all sorts of death and destruction. In just recent memory we have the BP oil spill, the OKC bombing and the Columbine massacre to name just a few. I find it terrible ironic that this attack would happen on day one. And third, today is tax day, suggesting a homegrown terror attack as well.

The culprits behind this attack could be anyone from Joe Schmo down the street to Al Queda to factors within our own government to some sort of very powerful devil worshippers. It is far too early too speculate any sort of motive yet. The most likely scenario suggests homegrown terrorism or the false flag attempt to frame them. If it turns out to be North Korea or Iran, things are going to get far worse, especially for any innocent person who happens to be from either place.

HOW THE GOLD AND HOUSING MARKETS ARE BEING USED AGAINST YOU

As someone who writes about gold for a living, even I am a little shocked how on the money (excuse the bad pun) I was about the gold markets today. Last week while reporting for a major gold supplier, I noticed that articles in the New York Times, WSJ and Bloomberg all said that gold was played out and the market was due for a major correction. I was skeptical about everything written on them and told my readers that selling gold right now was the worst idea ever and market manipulations appeared to be in the works. I suggested that if the derivative market saw a huge spike in paper gold sales come Monday, every idiot who read these article were going to panic and gold sales would plummet. Guess what happened exactly as I said?

Today $20 billion in paper gold flooded the market to such an extent, gold sales were even briefly halted today to slow the slide which as of this writing was down almost 8% to a value just under $1400 an ounce. What happened was corporations like JP Morgan bet heavy on the derivative market that gold was going to flounder, which it did by flooding the market with non existent gold shares, causing the gold price to fall dramatically while cleaning up on the fact they bet the gold would lose value. This is why the derivative market is so dangerous. People are purposefully tanking the economy to make a buck. The US government is supporting this, along with Japan, to prop up the failing dollar. Today, many who sold their gold stocks bought US government bonds and dollar assets which soared in value.

Housing is also being touted as an excellent time to buy as prices are rising and everyone should get on that gravy train while they can. It is true that housing prices have increased about 11% over the last year and appear to be going even higher. Interests rates are also at record lows, meaning one can get a mortgage for a fraction of what one would have paid just five years ago.

Here's the rub about all of this: it's all a lie. First off, housing is rebounding because the same practices that cause the crash of 2008 are being done all over again. And it wasn't bad loans by Freddie and Fanny that was the culprit but investors overbuying the market, causing prices to soar, and in true Ponzi scheme methods, crashed when there were not people to buy the houses on the market after saturation had been reached. Those exact same things are occurring right now and houses in Orlando and Las Vegas have already showed signs that the market rise may be ending there. And if they have reached saturation, how long before the rest of the country reaches it as well?

The gold market is much more complicated but what happened today was the powers that be tricked people into thinking gold was plummeting by flooding the market with paper gold, while simultaneously buying physical gold with the lower price. Gold is being stockpiled in unheard of numbers by world governments like China, Italy and Germany yet the price falls. This all has to do with selling paper gold while buying physical gold. If you have paper gold get rid of it before it's worthless. If you have physical gold, hold on it because I expect the price to jump back to record levels by the end of the year.

In the Asian markets right now, physical gold is selling for over $2000 an ounce. It's the paper gold that is tanking the markets. Experts are blaming the slowdown in the Chinese economy as well as a rumor of a massive self off of gold by Cyprus to pay off debt, but neither should have been enough to create this level on panic. The real explanation is some people wanted to make a fortune shorting the market by flooding it with paper gold by the ultra rich who are the epitome of greedy bastards. Incidentally a huge portion of those paper gold sales, $6 billion, have been tied to Meryl Lynch. Shocker.

What we have here is yet another way the little guy is getting screwed blue by the richest among us so they can have more while we deal with less. Recent estimates say that the level of inequality between the rich and the poor have reached epic levels never before seen in human history. That's right worse than the Robber Barons, worse than the French circa 1787, worse than the Romans. And yet we take it still with barely a peep. If we don't standing up for ourselves soon and start demanding more from our employers and our government we will be literally slaves to the our rich overlords. Wake up people. We can't be this stupid anymore.

DOUCHEBAG OF THE WEEK: KIM JONG UN

Yes, the deranged, fat baby Kim Jong Un is at the top spot again this week, for creating the worst nuke crisis since 1962. No one was even in a close race with this loser. Let's see those runner ups.

1)Police who arrest people for filming them- I have a definite love/hate relationship when it comes to cops. As my personal experience with them have been less than stellar for the most part in various places (New York State Cops, and 90% of the cops in CT), I have also met plenty of them who were very good at their job. For example the police in my hometown have been nothing but fine, upstanding people, who got my stolen mail back less than twelve hours after it had been stolen. Now that is good police work. But we are haring about more and more truly dangerous morons out there who should NOT have a badge. Now lets us say this to the cheap seats for those fuckwads in particular: IT IS NOT ILLEGAL IN TAPE POLICE IN ANY STATE AS LONG AS IT IS NOT DONE WITH A HIDDEN CAMERA! The Justice Department says so. The Supreme Court says so. Thus it is the law of the land and everyone time one of you jack booted thugs attempt to confiscate equipment illegally, it almost always blows up in their face.

This week, police in Nebraska and San Diego did just that in what will now be a civil right lawsuit filed against the department for which they will lose. Way to cost the taxpayers money, assholes. Four Nebraska cops chased a man into his own home to confiscate a camera that was filming them beat a man senseless unaware that another person was filming the whole thing from across the street. All four were fired. In San Diego, a cop ordered a man to stop filming him and when he didn't, slapped the phone from his hand and arrested him for obstruction. The cop claimed the phone could be used a weapon, which in that vernacular, anything can be a weapon. However, a smart phone at best might give you a black eye. The gun the cop is carrying is much more lethal. The video survived and the person is expected to file civil right charges and a civil suit to follow. The worst part is even after these losers get fired, some other department hires them. A case in South Florida highlighted that after an officer was involved in a crash that killed four people when he pursued a suspect down the wrong way of an off-ramp, which is against protocols. Turns out, this idiot was kicked out of the police academy for reckless driving, yet still hired as a cop. Later, Perez was accused of punching a woman so hard she needed a steel plate put in her skull. And now this. Perez faces jail for chasing someone for an illegal right turn which led to the deaths of four people. These are the types of cops that make everyone hate the police.

2)Montana Republicans- Yes the GOP was at it again this week with another round of abject stupidity. This week we saw the Democrats lose a fight in Montana that would have prevented draconian voter restrictions. As these fuck heads can't win legally, they have resorted to cheating. The measure gets rid of same day voter registration and makes it nearly impossible for third party candidates from entering any election because what people want is only two sides of the same coin. The measure will go for a vote in the next election, which hopefully will get shot down by the people. As I have less than an optimistic reason to believe that people will not vote for this (people are fucking stupid everywhere lately), hopefully this will not catch on in other red states.

3)North Carolina Republicans- Not to be outdone in the "who can outstupid the next guy" race, North Carolina has entered a bill that would take away a family's tax break for college students if said college student votes anywhere but his home state. These are the same brainpowers that tried to make Christianity the state religion last week and banned global warming, as if that would work. Yet another attempt by the pathetic GOP to lie, cheat or steal their way back into power.

4)Ron Johnson- The CEO of JC Penny was fired this week after a stunning year and a half of dismal ideas and flagging sales. Can someone explain to me why we need to pay huge salaries to CEO's for their "talent," and then watch them make the dumbest decisions possible? The first thing Johnson did was eliminate all sales and coupons from the floor, angering many. He then went after a mythical target audience, "yuppie youngsters," by adding in hipster brands, ignoring the fact that young people, by and large, have huge student debts and shitty jobs that pay nothing. The endeavor rightfully failed when his regular customers left and, as the people he was after do not exist in large enough numbers anymore, the stores looked abandoned. Sales dropped 25% in his first year and 32% last quarter. He will not be missed.

5)Greg Walden(R-OR)- Yes, yet another foot in mouth schmuck who actually had the gaul to criticize Obama's budget plan for cutting aid to seniors, in the Chained CPI and Medicare cuts, while in the past, supporting those same measures in the Ryan Budget plan. Here is his quote:

“I’ll tell you, when you’re going after seniors the way he’s already done on Obamacare, taken $700 billion out of Medicare to put into Obamacare and now coming back at seniors again, I think you’re crossing that line very quickly here in terms of denying access to seniors for health care in districts like mine certainly and around the country,” Walden said.

Maybe he should read the Ryan plan a little closer because it has those same Medicare cuts in it it's latest installment. It seems a little hypocritical to call out the president for stuff your own party wants to go even further with. What an ass.

6)IRS- The IRS is a bloated government entity that is illegal in the fact the the income tax amendment in our Constitution was never ratified legally. Now comes word that these fascists think that all emails are fair game and no warrant should be necessary to read them as they contain no reasonably expectation of privacy. WTF? Here it is from their handbook:

The IRS Criminal Tax Division's "Search Warrant Handbook," showed that the division's general counsel believed "the Fourth Amendment does not protect communications held in electronic storage, such as email messages stored on a server, because internet users do not have a reasonable expectation of privacy."

Doesn't that mean that we should have equal access to all government emails stored the same way?

7)The American Education system- Our system has been falling apart for years but it took a teacher's epic resignation level to reveal how bad it really is. Three years shy of a full pension, Gerald Conti posted this letter on Facebook which calls the profession now a joke as standardized testing has turned our nation's kids into zombies incapable of doing anything more than regurgitating knowledge rather than understanding any of it. It explains why a significant portion of our kids can't read or write when they graduate. He called out private industries like Pearson Education that provide these tests that are riddled with errors. Nothing better than to teach kids poorly with wrong materials. Our children are going to be fat, stupid and vote Republicans if we are not careful.

8)The California Prison System- Governor Jerry Brown and others face contempt charges if in the next twenty days a significant portion of the prisoners are not released due to dangerous overcrowding. This is all caused by the War of Drugs which is straining our limits and ending freedoms left and right. The prisons were found to be stuffed to the hilt years ago and a judge has had it with the stalling tactics. They have been given a few weeks to fix the problem or face jail time themselves which would be ironic as they would be stuffed into the overcrowded prison for a first hand look as to how bad things are. It also hasn't helped that we no longer put the mentally ill in hospitals but incarcerate them instead, and now accounts for 30% of the prison population. Way to go guys. Can we just decriminalize and legalize drugs and be done with it already?

9)Lisa Biron- This piece of work was convicted this week for filming her underage daughter having sex with men she pimped her out to. The funny part is that Biron is a New Hampshire lawyer who helped run a hate group against gay people. So pedophilia is fine as long as no gay stuff right? No, actually and again ironically, tape existed that showed her having sex with her own daughter which means she was gay herself and incestuous yet claimed the Bible was her favorite book and gay people should burn in hell. Biron party of one to the Hellfire Club, your table is ready. What a loser.

10)Kim Jong Un- Seemingly determined to turn North Korea into a giant shard of glass, Un threatened the US and its allies with nuclear Armageddon if they tried to shoot down any missiles no matter where they might go. He also said he would nuke Tokyo first in such a scenario. If Un is dumb enough to fire a missile anywhere near South Korea or Japan it WILL get shot down. China has given mixed signals about the whole thing, but I kind of doubt they want a nuclear war on their own doorstep. We still have no idea what this demented fool is up to but if he wants to act like a Bond villain, he is going to wind up like one. So congratulations Kim Jong Un you are indeed douchebag of the week.
