How many do you know that'd take rejection with understanding?

How many would think of your upliftment still?

How many would continue to be friends of yours?

How many would shower you with their unconditional love?

I know of someone who loves me still;

I feel Him talking to my heart,

I hear Him teaching me where to cut corners,

I find Him asking me to look beyond-

At the greater good, at understanding, at forgiveness, at kindness.

Routine appreciation and love cards aren't vital to Him,

Nor are difficult fasts and pious visits to holy shrines.

Just show Him that you're focused, and on the right track running,

Eager to learn, progressing, wanting to grow, while help providing.

He knows sincerity from deception, trying from fulfilling,

Determination from fearful flight and faith from empty talks.

In the root of His Heart the tapestries of our lives find color;

That little fact hasn't changed now and won't ever!

Make promises to Him just as you always did,

Ask for the accomplishment of your desires like you have before;

Pray for a light, happy yellow day to unravel as soon as you've awoken,

Chalk out your plans with Him before you turn off the lights at midnight.

Guidance doesn't come to everyone- cherish yours!

Life is odd only when you have the time to think about it.

One person's carelessness, someone else's characteristic madness,

A third's fumbling mood swings or yet another's forgetfulness??

What makes the spokes on the wheels of your life turn and why?

There's someone you're ignoring and somebody else ignoring you,

There are times you want to talk, at times you do little but run;

Yet, we go through the routine, one eventful day at a time.

What makes us last this long? What blends cheer into cruelty?

Sometimes you pine to do things, but let a tiny thought stop you;

The thought is one translating, fear to reality before it is born.

And still, something inside you, reason ceases to see- adamant,

Not wanting to lose it's freedom- Who now found for it, it's voice?

You're surrounded by piles of undone chores, jobs to complete,

All you really want and do is rest, throwing upwards your feet;

When your sense of responsibility storms, making you scrub hard,

It's throwing around its weight- What makes you listen and obey?

What is it that works better than a cane thrashing your back?

What gives to you your goal, your purpose when starting to slack?

When you're picking yourself from the dumps, figuring about life,

You're probably at the brink of something special;

Maybe, you'll now stumble upon your diamond in the sand,

Maybe, you'll fly spaceships leading to a whole new clan,

Maybe, you'll leap across oceans from far atop the mountain,

Maybe, you'll simply cycle through alleys, deep in the wild sea.

Nobody can fill the void that grows in your heart from emptyness;

Find passion- your magic, your dance form, an art, your music.

Feel the fire rising from within the very depth of your soul,

Taste it's hunger, it's raw desire, to overcome all it was told;

Solve the quests within you, unanswered, challenging you to try,

There ain't no road to travel, strapping a comrade for time to fly.

Mopping up the dance floor- to shine!

Freedom can stem from impulsive activity;

Yet, the leap can seem too much.

Why?

Victories have a harrowing past,

Adventures have within them stories that last,

Will-power possesses strength to race you ahead fast;

Yet, you slip time and again.

Why?

Thoughtless doing brings you gain,

Mindful planning brings with it intense rain,

Stepping on broken shells brings pain,

The right time and space makes all effort seem vain;

Yet, your faith falters.

Why?

You have all of your answers;

You know how far to jump,

You know you'll find your grip,

You know of prayer from practice.

Just hold on to familiarity!

Breathe.

Live.

In the palm of each soul, unfolds a brand new story;

The radiance in each face, singing verses of His glory.

How, when, in what and why we're different,

No mortal can think and tell;

Yet, in one heart lie our roots,

The deepest depth of our shell.

When petals go on to bloom,

And their sweetness go on to lose;

Who is it that staunchly objects,

Beautiful dew instead to choose?

Who is it, in innocence, suffering their several pricks?

Who reflects back the meanness spewing in their kicks?

Pieces of the pond, when begin to bleed;

Who tidies up the water,

Getting Heavens to seal the leak?

When our cup with injustice overflows;

Who throws that dash of yellow,

To brighten what is bleak?

Today, I have no answers,

Only questions to ponder over and ask;

Knowing, I've been led by prayer,

Random repetition that got me through the task.

As minutes of the day continue to pass by,

A soothing balm appears,

Healing hurts that threatened to cry;

Dedicated warriors returning from battles hard-fought,

Still wondering-

Whoever their blood-stained slate to wipe clean taught?

The fury seems gone, kindness exploding,

All it took was a hug, some genuine understanding.

Did the wrong get undone?

Maybe not as one would have liked.

But was the goodness rewarded??

For sure, despite every evil that purposefully spiked!

A warm, sunshiney-bright day,

Need come not always in an expected way;

Look out for showers of blessings in cold nights,

Moist greenery making up for plump bundles of hay! ;)

The Light has come searching

There are perspectives we have and those we find,

You see truth in both, appealing to the mind;

Struggles in yours that wholly define,

Unthinkable feats in theirs that'll bring out shine.

What will you choose today and why?

Glory waits for you to hatch out and touch the sky.

Madness is what they might set out to see,

Let the craziness in you flow;

At least you'll know your soul danced free,

Why cringe, why hide- just let your spirit glow!

When the seed matures, it toughens with resolve,

Bringing sweetness to the fruit, life's puzzles to solve.

The victor ain't taking hurt with him on his journey,

The cup he seeks, then comes prancing softly.

Witness what you've wanted and what you have now,

It's here, it came! Chase it to the tail- make it bow!

Give birth- to you,

Write your own fairytale;

Cut the petite ribbon that holds claiming you're frail,

Within you, let the world with all of it's beauty sail.

You're fabulous, you'll know,

Let your heart go on to grow;

For there would be no colored flowers,

If buds, in fear, will to lose no more, their covers.

I want to be all I can be and more, in each of my days;

Yet, I wish so strongly, to forget not my peace,

His Presence filling magic in silent star-lit nights.

The two faces of mine don't seem to match at all;

I know they're mere versions of me,

Why then search for any of them, why call?

Reading the uncertainty stemming from familiar faces,

I look knowingly, only to step away further, faster;

What is it about diversions making sure I'll last longer?

God in Heaven up there has been patient and kind;

He hasn't said a word, yet hasn't ever left my side.

Surely, He has listened, for I can feel it in my bones;

There's still a calm smile staring back through stones.

I'll chug along okay- all I need is mandatory sleep,

I've to remember I'm human, despite thoughts I think;

Small things I ignore, go long ways, my sanity to keep!

We'll persist, we'll win- each of us, all of us;

We've begun this journey together,

And we know in our hearts that, we began not to quit!

Nay, we ain't quitting, folks! We never will.

Simply because we can, we will and we still ARE!

We've all got an ego- a teeny, tiny, nasty one.

How would you react if life asked you to get rid of it?

The task isn't easy, nor is the picture of our lives rosy.

Your empty head may give you a false sense of security,

It may seem like your only living lifeline;

Yet, reality bites as it draws you into it's hollow well.

Take pride in being you.

You aren't only who you might be someday.

You aren't a pale picture of the skeletons in your closet.

You are you- today, now, here- YOU are beautiful.

You are alive, well, breathing, sharing, spreading cheer.

You are walking, working, climbing, aiming, achieving.

You are dreaming, creating, risking, thinking, re-trying.

You are bright success in a dreaded bunch of losers.

You are the tide, ripping apart high walls of captivity.

You are the shining star, hoping- glowing in dark nights.

You are the heart where The Warrior lives, tirelessly.

Turn to look into the mirror and pause.

See the rarity, sharpness and brilliance that is you?

When it seems like you can't breathe no more, I promise;

The strings of hope will strum their way into your soul.

Don't ache for the gloss painting your exterior, not yet;

Sweet victories will sing their harmonies unto you, I bet!

Take that road that nobody dares to take;

With love, life and luck- effervescent memories make!

The tale is long, but it's beauty is true;

In difficulties- sigh, but know this isn't the end of you.

While you're thinking about the problems in your path;

He's wishing you'd trust Him more for now and rest.

It will all get sorted in time- He knows that, do you?

As guilt-ridden thoughts burden your mind, ashaming,

Don't liken your relationship with Him to one of many-

Strong relationships left behind in the sands of time.

God knows you inside out- He has walked with you;

He hasn't ever been in the dark- why cry or apologize?

Every person you meet is Him, each new situation is His;

Be as confident as you are when you're alone with Him,

For if truth be told, it always is just two- Him and you.

When what you'll say to someone else worries you,

Say what you will when you're talking to Him-

There ain't no cross-questioning, no issues, no hurt.

Reach the depths of the valleys to ever want to soar;

Fight the suffocation of darkness- breathe, then roar.

You're special, sweet child!

Treat yourself with wise love and healing, tender care.

When you aren't on your side, the greatest enemy is you;

When love is yours, the world sleeps within your palm.

Open your heart to greater love, to Light, to radiance;

Accept credit for all that you are- you deserve all of it!

Look at yourself as a Mother looks at her child forever;

You'll find all you need to heal gaps that cracked time.

There's beauty in your soul that lights up lives around;

Shrivel not in despair, you are a pillar of hope for many.

Being honest with you means leaving criticism behind,

There ain't no truth, prejudiced with a curtain of shame.

Rise beyond yourself to a world struggling in need;

If you're to measure your worth with your actions alone,

Purpose can cure a heart buried in the filth of anguish.

There's a reason, a path, a life, a destination, a story;

When people criticize you, your behavior or your work,

You're affected only if you think that they are right.

If you find yourself fighting for your respect- work on it.

You will get to the top of your game, I assure you.

To heal an insult pricking you in the light of the day,

Rendering you speechless while wanting to play defense;

Work away into the nights, not caring for time or sweat.

The effort to clear the scars off your personal record,

Your passion to become the best and your hurting ego;

They'll light up your spirit- you will glow with pride.

When people blame you for something you haven't done,

When they're being unjust, insensitive and mean-

Try explaining calmly, honestly, yet discreetly.

If it doesn't have effect though, be happy that you tried!

Rise above your anger and disgust for their callousness.

Be glad you're you, blessed with greater understanding.

Explaining your position to the others in the same space,

When they won't feel for you or say the right words;

Is a wastage of your time, value, emotion and intent.

Puff up your collar knowing you're fabulous- why fret?

Quit feeling guilty about maladjustments life brings;

You're doing all you think is right- you're doing well.

Remember- you're the one that matters most- so, sing!

For God listens even as you cringe and think you can't.

Seek, demand, visualize, believe- that is all it takes,

Like cookies in His bakery, He sits up there and bakes.

Within mere minutes, you have sprinted across miles;

The mess you'd bent over, now cleaned up, shiny tiles.

Did you do anything different except focus on the good?

Yet, instantly destiny leads away from where you stood.

Your body language, thoughts, beliefs, understanding;

These were what lifted you, bad luck not withstanding.

It is completely acceptable to start work on you again;

It'll be immensely respectable, now that's a fair bargain.

Shed the fake hide you've been carrying upon your back;

You're beautiful, bright and brilliant, why think of lack?

The scars, your insecurities- they'll fade with exposure;

All you need is polishing, the quivering will find closure.

Bring on all your charm, your wit and cheerful ways,

Fearing your present equates rejecting golden days;

Be happy for goodness longing to flood open your gate,

Dream of your destination, treat yourself first-rate.

The time wheel is spinning, it is radiating pure bliss;

Let your happiness explode, even when the snakes hiss.

The beauty of your heart enticing lives from afar,

Prove- kindness matters; goodness still bears power.

Your wants, your wishes and desires will easily awake,

Relax. Breathe. This isn't an obstacle race.

Life is easy because it was designed with you in mind.

When your thoughts speed by leaving you speechless,

Stay calm- blowing your top worsens your standing.

The sands that slipped to fall can be scooped up again,

Your battles, overlapping, can be fought to win in time.

Don't run! Walk, crawl, keep going- every step counts!

The days might come to shock, despite your all efforts;

But who is it that you come home to late in the nights?

On bringing back a herd to party at your expense,

Whom do you think you're favoring- them or yourself?

Venting, blaming and praying are all different things;

Which one of these have you been busy doing lately?

Ladders were created to reach wherever you must go;

However long you take, the framework remains sturdy,

Climb, fall and climb again- it won't ever cease to exist.

You might have sprained an ankle- heal soon, it will;

You might have lost your way, paths will find you still.

Gaze fondly at the silent unshaken bonds, the comfort,

Be grateful for hidden mercies that move into the light;

Where would you be without these to hold you in place?

Would there continue to even be a race?

Or Would you have turned away, to run instead of face?

Tough decision that could have been, eh?

Have you found your reason to believe in Him, yet? ;) ;)

Glide along the shore as gracefully as can be,

There is a shining star waiting for you by sea;

Take it into your hands and let it guide you ahead,

Check your heart though- is it allowing you to be led?

Respect where you are, the happy roads are narrow;

Whatever limb you take, it'll begin here, that arrow.

Rub the sleep out of your eyes

But learn from simple people, the skills they teach you.

They might not dream the big dreams you've dreamed,

They may not seem at all, competitively aggressive;

But they know what happiness is to them- respect that!

They know how to live in the now and accommodate.

Accredit them for they exude confidence to perfection,

Thriving with heads held high in a world ready to crush.

Look within yourself; what do you see?

A hard-working self; intelligent and goal oriented?

A sincere, obedient, sensibly-diplomatic job candidate?

A conscientous, reliable, dedicated, caring enthusiast?

And yet, you think that you're not enough?

This doesn't seem to fit right at all.

YOU are what a lot of people would never be.

God blessed you with wisdom, compassion and honesty;

He gave to you, a heart that truly feels for every other.

He is guiding you- understand why you're here, today.

You've got an important chapter of your life to learn;

Here, rote memorization and false promises won't help.

Absorb the goodness of the opportunity in your palm,

Be the best version of you, day after day;

Strive to make your presence felt, wherever you may go.

There's much in you to be merely attending like the rest;

Shine! You may never be adequately indispensable,

But it is upto you to make sure your zeal isn't forgotten.

As for that dream you see? Don't EVER give up!

Hold on even if the skies were to fall down upon you;

Cling tight even if life as you know it, threatens to end.

There is more to you, I promise!

I want to see you live your life exactly as you'd like.

Walk boldly for what you seek now is only the start.

A life, a bond, a story

For every evil creature in our world that exists,

There is someone right here, that they adore to bits.

For every goodness that you know, in you there is,

It is something you hate in the ones you love most.

For every injustice that ever was meted out unto thee,

There is so much love that it brings tears into thy eyes.

For every blessing upon you, that has been bestowed,

There is a story cutting so deep- it makes you cry often.

Words, sentences, actions can go on to hurt amass;

But that unseen connection there is between your souls?

Tearing through living sheaths of unending grievances,

It speaks volumes in it's silence of you to one belonging.

When slaps echo, your responses hurling through the air,

In your stamping, biting, fuming, beating and arguing,

And carelessly over-stepping every border there was;

Is your heart the only one that tugs at you in your chest,

As it shrinks, shrivels and begs in despair for His mercy?

Or Do you sense the pull at the other end of it all,

Even as it stretches to escape away in child-like angst?

For when you do, know- you have touched your divinity.

The lump in your throat, the magnet drawing you closer;

God might have made for us a weird universe, alright!

But with the love flooding the very insides of your being,

He reached His highest peak- surely, no mistake making.

Sobbing remorse and hungry guilt in darkness no cure is;

Let emotions breathe, intertwinning your souls in Light.

God hears you, He feels you and knowingly forgives.

Don't be ashamed of raging fury that arose, dying softly;

Give abundant thanks for His messenger that came,

Calming your mind with His soothing balm of wise rain.

Cherish the love, the purity- sheer beauty that engulfs,

When no words are spoken, no movement ever made;

When two souls just are and all is serene once again.

Close your eyes & open your hands

How, what, when, why- you probably never planned;

Yet the biggest and the best falls straight into your lap.

Of course, you've always wished for abundant goodness,

"But, this? Really?"

Have you ever caught yourself wondering?

It might be a different direction, but it'll lead you right;

This is His masterstroke, though the path is out of sight.

He hears your questions, as He works to ease the haze;

Shh! Quieten your thoughts- abide throughout the maze.

You'll be okay! So, quit worrying- it is a nasty habit!

Where are the days when you believed without limit?

It's perfectly safe to accept, trust and aim to achieve;

Happiness multiplies when you allow yourself to receive.

Clean the broken records from long ago- it is a new era;

Grab this opportunity- grow, excel, brighten your aura.

This was in the package deal of friendship and His lifts;

God wants you to have faith, to enjoy His surprise gifts.

He needs you to trust more than you can often muster;

Yet, leaves you indebted, as His love turns to shelter.

Your prayer is your direct connection that works,

Though He reads your mind, around you as He lurks;

Don't be stingy with praise! Be gracious, thank Him.

In undoing a curse, He has freed you from a life so grim.

Bob along the gentle stream, taking in sights of glory!

Dip your hands in the water, write with Him your story;

Play, sing, hope, dream, wish in merriment- rejoice!

Feel calmness, wave to stillness- make an active choice.

He heard you when you prayed in your darkest hour,

You won't have to struggle to gain or ever be sour;

Life will carry you upon His able shoulders, you'll see,

For now though- patience is a virtue, so learn to just be!

Hold on a bit longer, the prize is headed your way,

Watch out for the opening that'll lead you into the bay.

Jump over the puddles- there's magic!

Happiness never has to wait; it's true.

Think with me- We all have so many rosy thoughts,

But do we actually do anything with them?

That is wasting a precious life in vain, don't you think?

What is it that you'd give up everything to do??

I know my answer for sure, as I type this out to you;

And I can't believe I hadn't thought much of it earlier.

There is meaning to the extended madness;

There is a purpose behind the rocks in your path.

The universe wants you to wake up to your power;

It's time you knew of the greatness that is your life.

No! Perfection never comes because learning goes on;

Hold tightly your dream and squeeze it until it is dry.

Who said you aren't needed or appreciated in the now?

Who said you aren't ready to pull off miracles, yet?

Whoever did, lied to you and stole from you your drive;

Catch 'em by the neck, turn to look them in the eye,

And empower them with your gift of perception.

Promise me that you'll think about your desires again;

Cherish them, shower them with the oxygen they need.

You aren't a trailing, insincere shadow, my dearest;

For look closely and notice- your route stands apart!

You're blessed just as you have always wanted to be;

It's funny you're taking so long to even realize it.

Get a notepad, put down your ideas, chew them out.

Freedom is longing to happen to you!!

Ah! Don't let doubts steal your thunder away;

A mere glimpse is as real as what stares at you always.

Faith, confidence, imagination, hope and passion;

When you've packed in these, you're ready to go. :)

Remember the things only others seemed to have?

You won't need to wonder no more- no feeling small,

No wishing, wailing, cursing, while still not knowing.

The control is with you, the happiness is yours;

But, I believe that your Plans are surely from up above.

Seize the opportunity that's shining through the night,

Flutter your wings until you're certain that you're lighter;

See that gap in the cage? I think you'll fit just right- fly!

Orientation helps

It's hard to start from scratch, a journey you'd once quit;

But I'm a tough girl and I know I can win if I want to.

Today, while at the temple, I said my usual prayer,

And then waited, as always, to hear God's reply to me;

Three-quarters of the wisdom here, I receive from Him.

Somebody once told me that humans are too intelligent,

That they manage to believe whatever they want to;

So, God could very well be a made-up proposition-

A legend someone created to lighten their own heart.

I wondered as I sat there, if it was me I've always heard;

And so, I debated on and off, arguing, taking sides.

In the process, I felt like I was being questioned;

"Do you believe in me?"

Or "Do you think there is nothing above yourself?"

I stuttered back, keeping my madness quotient in check,

"I believe in you- I'd rather believe I'm protected, loved,

And cared for forever than feel all the confusion myself.

But I need to look out for me, too, don't I?

I need to work on my life before my time is gone."

All I could still hear was, "Do you believe in me?"

I thought for a while, saw the lesson in there and said,

"Yes, but what if my dreams and destiny differ?"

"Who do you think planted those dreams in your head?

Why do you think you're being led in this direction?"

When those words hit me, I felt instant peace.

It's difficult, but I choose to believe in Him.

I choose to believe that my life has a true purpose;

That I'm being guided and I just need to walk along.

I am grateful for a burden being lifted off me, today.

Waiting is sad, but hoping is fun- I can, I will, I am.

Goodness begets goodness and I know I'll get my due.

Have faith, for it brings with it sincere liberation;

It gives you strength when you have no answers at all,

It mends your wings, heals your scars, touches your soul,

And gets you to soar higher than you'd ever imagined.

It's good to be back home to peace, love and Light! :)

A hint of reality

I become immensely envious of people who can just be.

Actually, let me think before I publish this to the world-

Is there anyone who can be sure of themselves always?

It's truly amazing to be able to love yourself though.

On a good day like this one, it all sinks in.

Our fears, embarrassments and entrapping situations;

All of these exist only in our heads.

Do they really care about how strange/not you are? No.

Is anyone genuinely interested in seeing you hurt? No.

Can anybody better your thoughts for you? No.

Is there light at the end of the tunnel? Yes.

I've been amiss for a long while;

But I'm glad I'm gaining my foothold.

It took me time and support; which I'm grateful I had.

It feels good to write, to motivate, to focus, to affirm;

I need my daily dose of thinking good thoughts again!

Do I feel like I'm telling you more than you should know?

Yes, oh yes! Umm hmm. (shaking head side to side)

But as someone very wise said to me, "I'm human first."

So, I'm going to make sure I respect my every emotion.

I'll acknowledge my doubts and stumbling phases;

Yet, I'll rise high, achieving every dream I've dreamt.

I've realized that for success to come, I need to be me.

TheBlogWriter8 has been too worldly-wise, too sharp;

She might have a lot of my traits, but she isn't me.

To think that she'll win my battles for me is deception.

I struggle, I fear, I cringe, I hide, I fall;

But I also try, I pray, I preach, I open-up, I climb.

My truth might not seem as promising as her facade,

But I'll invite you to walk with me to the top;

I have faith that persistence will surely get us there.

In the past few weeks, I've slipped downhill;

But I've also felt a strong urge to work on myself again.

Work, I will- it's easier when you've been there before;

Not because you know the path- oh no,

It's simpler because you know where you're headed.

Thank you for reading me and bringing me happiness;

It's been a good association and I aim to make it better!

Capture strength from pictures you've drawn in dreams,

Surrender to faith, wear His love as your winning jersey.

The numbers may flip, faces may fall or change at best,

For sanity, keep your cards close unto your chest;

Let your heart not utter a beat too loud,

Promises you must keep, in quiet, away from the crowd.

The gossip-mongers won't know dead from the live,

They're too busy asking, to feel, yet you'll thrive;

The secret lies in that they now don't matter no more,

It's destiny, know- in misery, they'll never be your shore.

Go on and grab your fill of whatever you may like;

There's things to do, mountains with bare hands to hike.

Your world is changing, hold on to what is a must;

There's some that you can carry, the rest is mere dust.

I see the skies clearing, the winds of happiness rolling,

There's tranquility in the air, your focus now glowing;

I love who you're becoming out of want and self-desire,

There's nothing better than passion, zeal and inner-fire.

Flight to freedom

In trying again, you learn to give it your life.

Risks are to be taken, in one way or another;

Hope ought to get stronger as pathways get narrower.

Will you remain distraught?

Will you give up because it's hard?

Or Will you fight the tears and simply aim to win?

Ordinary people, simple minds, delicate hearts;

They go on to achieve great feats- they do.

Do you have faith in you?

Maybe not. Why live in your body as you then?

If you cannot trust you-

Don't blame life for kicking you in the rear.

Or For throwing you onto a heap on the sidewalk.

Strength is in growing into the finest version of you.

It lies in passing fearlessly through the hottest fire;

It means walking unflinchingly on burning pieces of coal.

Tantrums won't get you there.

If you want to act dainty,

Go sit cross-legged in the corner;

Rest your burdens on someone else,

And wait to be led where they might take you.

It is a life of pure lifelessness, if you ask me though.

This is your life; live it your way.

Who are you?

What do you think you can do?

Where do you see yourself headed?

Do you need help to get there?

What if the risks don't pay off?

Will you be okay then? or Are you better now?

The questions could be many, the answer is one.

Where are your thoughts leading you?

That is His plan for you.

Meditate upon your dilemma- find YOU.

Hold on tight to the little things

Little things matter more than you can know;

Seek peace and find your stability in them.

When something so huge comes by in life,

When you're holding your breath and wondering,

Hoping, Praying, Willing for good to come off it;

Catch hold of your pot of vaseline,

You'll know for sure that it'll still remain yours.

Think about how life can possibly differ from now on.

Will you be able to lie down with ease tomorrow?

Will you be able to throw your feet up and relax?

How will who you are or have become change?

Calm down; take an easy breath in and out.

Dreams aren't subject to what life may bring.

Yes, you invest so much of you into each of them;

But the results only facilitate your next move.

We do our part and fear the outcome so much;

Is any of the panic really worth it?

You're fabulously intelligent,

You're dedicated and hard-working.

Does the universe not notice your potential?

Courage isn't about what is written in textbooks;

It is in living your life as YOU.

Don't tie yourself down to one tiny consequence;

You are Power, you are Light, you are Love.

Open your eyes to the magnificence that is you.

Things don't happen to you- oh, no, they don't!

YOU happen to things, you bless them with your time;

You convert ordinary to spectacular with your thoughts.

The world isn't dictating terms to you;

Look around- It revolves around you.

When you're wondering what will change tomorrow,

Know that something will get lucky because-

It was destined enough to fall into your path;

You will get better because you're so good at it,

Your goals will get renewed, life will smile some more,

Dare to defy the tide

Where there is compulsion, it all becomes distasteful.

Are you forcing yourself to do things you don't like?

Give me a few minutes to debate with you, then.

One question, one word- WHY?

Because the opposite person will end up feeling bad?

Or Because they won't like you, if you don't?

Or Because you won't be their reigning favorite?

Or worse, because you fear they'll walk out on you?

Oh, no, let me guess- etiquette- isn't that it?

Quit- no, not because I'm asking you to.

Quit it because you're only deceiving yourself.

Take all the tit-for-tat social rules and moral conduct,

And weigh them on a set of scales;

On the other side is your one chance for a happy life.

I'm not even questioning who you think will win;

The answer is glaring right back at anyone who'll look.

When you're starting to bog yourself down with guilt,

The guilt of not being able to be like everyone else;

Know that everyone was not given your life to live.

They can't do so much that you do with ease.

They might have a fan following, but ask your soul-

Would you be happy to have what you are taken away,

To truly become every trait they embody?

If yes, go on, become them,

For change is your faithful, trusted aide;

And the universe will help you with all you need.

If not, wipe away the sad streaks off your face,

Discard that cloak of depression you've draped over you,

Look out into the world and ask-

"What would I want to do with my day, today?

What will make me happy, fulfilled and content?

Whom should I bless with my presence, today?

Will that do me as much good as I think it would?"

None of this is being selfish.

The world is like a picnic spot in a park;

You go there to entertain yourself, not your audience!

Don't bother wondering what you've done all along.

You're wasting more time than you can afford to.

Stop trying to backtrack or look up other options.

You've been cleaning up the periphery of the heap.

You've been diligently aiming to sweep off the pile.

Now, if we're done with the compliment showering;

Let's get back to business, shall we?

Nothing is lost until you start fluttering in the wind.

Take a deep breath in- it works, is cheap and is quick.

Promise to yourself that you'll make it for sure.

No airy words or huge sentences, please!

I'm looking for grit determination.

Do you notice that today could be a new start for you?

Good- chew up that little detail and retain it.

Take another deep breath- in AND out.

You're doing well.

Chalk out a plan- make it realistic; no failures allowed.

It is easy.

No, it is not the best way to the other side;

But I thought we were over that discussion by now.

You're going to need to stop socializing- do it;

It is a tiny price to pay and no one is going to hate you.

If they do- well, it's their loss, right? ;)

The time you have left is your best friend.

Only YOU can bring Light into your life.

You will because you can and are trying, too;

Just focus better, try harder and stay calmer.

YOU are your only weapon- save yourself for the battle.

No, this isn't military rule, but it is good for you.

I'll simply trust that you'll follow.

My gut knows that you'll make it in time;

But that isn't supposed to make you lax.

Throw yourself headlong into your goal.

These are some of the best moments of your life;

Stress can take away all your energy;

It can paralyze you from head to toe.

When you're numb and are just waiting for days to pass,

When you stir your coffee relentlessly,

Looking for a sign in the patterns in foam that form;

When you can't understand who will or should win-

Your inherent gut feeling or your strongest desires;

When you aren't sure whether you ought to be grateful,

To be able to peek into the future and tell;

Slow down your mental processes.

All the power you've been losing will show up.

It is a funny thing about the universe;

When you need support more than you can know,

Your closest relationships of all time are always there.

They might not even know how much that means to you,

But your soul-connection knows how to work it's magic.

Calm down and take it one step at a time;

The right moment will present itself to you.

For now, continue to keep your senses on alert;

Hold on to the secrets that reveal themselves to you.

Do you realize how many are working towards your goal?

The angels protecting you, the God that you talk to,

The prayers whispered in your name, night and day,

The universe that nods to your every wish and dream,

The Plan that you're following without ever realizing;

This really isn't just your target to meet,

For you aren't the tiny speck that you think you are.

Ask for Spiritual guidance and Divine play to help you.

When your devotion becomes too commercialized,

When your passion seems to have suddenly gone amiss,

When you're starting to run away from what you loved,

Pause and reflect.

Is the true cause of your boredom out there?

Or Is it concealed within the layers of your heart?

No, the words you write don't matter.

Even what you say doesn't change anything.

What matters is whether you still feel what you felt.

If you're really living for you,

It won't matter what anyone else thinks or might think.

You'll feel free enough to own your name,

To claim each thing you do and each thing you say,

To stand tall and proudly announce,

"This is me.

This is what I like.

I am not limited to my current interests.

I am so much more than you can ever know.

I want to be everything that makes me happy.

I may not be able to please you each time.

I may not be able to play nice and stay diplomatic.

I may seem like a sore thumb sticking out awkwardly.

But the fact is, this is me and I like being me."

Simple sentences can liberate you.

Your priorities may change with time;

Flow with the change, don't feel guilty about it.

The ones who truly benefit from what you do,

Life is easy.

Success, fame, adulation, power, money;

It'll all be yours, if you truly want it.

We pile ourselves with so many expectations;

And fall flat on our faces, if nothing comes off it.

When a storm blows your bright umbrella backwards;

You most certainly don't need a new one right then.

Turn it around and steady it against the wind;

It's about trial and error, planning and persisting.

Today is a new day.

Don't carry with you the negativity of past failure.

Look at yourself through someone else's eyes;

Through the eyes of true love, if you will.

What does this person think of you?

Let the rain of their positivity flood your mind.

Notice the appreciation they have for your talents.

Ease your fears just as they would, if they knew.

Be confident.

YOU are a charming, vivacious, energetic individual.

Anything that you set out to accomplish, you do!

Struggling to achieve only to prove to others is pathetic;

Don't subject yourself to such insane trauma.

The war is still on; you're still controlling the reins.

You're capable of so much more than what you think.

Keep your faith guarded.

Your honesty will take you places.

Listen to your Lord when He says, He has a plan.

Focus- glue your eyes onto the target.

You have your pluses; throw light on them.
