Steph and I hit up Hobby Park last Sunday and brought out the GoPro with the new mounting fixture for the first time. We stopped a lot since we were constantly repositioning the camera, but had a good ride. Then we each made videos using the same raw footage.

Aleks vs. Steph. Baggies vs lycra. Karate Monkey vs FSR XC.

Mine (still not sure I should have ditched the Talking Heads for Mumford & Sons, but the TH song wasn’t working…)

The title sums it up. I had the GoPro angled too high, so the skiing is a bit boring. Thought I might as well put it up though. It was a super fun line to ski, and was rather deep too. Especially considering my late season visit. Stevoh makes an appearance with a turn or two. I also lost a bunch of footage from my other days out there due to GoPro problems. Bummmer duuude!

I stumbled across this during some random linkjuice roaming. Cool video about Zack Smith, Freddie Wilkinson, and Renan Ozturk and their alpine adventures up in Alaska. And they are clearly using skis for the approach. Sweet.
