<p>A new report from Healthy Eating Research has found that ultra-processed foods account for 53-58% of calories consumed by US adults and 62% of calories consumed by children and teenagers, and are linked to rising rates of obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, depression, and other chronic illnesses.</p>
