Scott Moscrip will be visiting to give a talk on Wednesday. Scott
founded a few internet startups starting in the late 90′s and has done
quite well for himself. He’s flying into Provo airport which most
likely makes him “Jet Rich” (“Jet rich” means he’s achieved a level
of wealth which allows him to use a personal jet when traveling. It’s
one notch above “rich” and one notch below “Warren Buffett rich”).

He’s going to give a short talk and then do Q&A with CS students
Wednesday at 203 TMCB at 2 pm.

Real-time data streams from securities exchanges. I have implemented high throughput, low latency, feeds for servers, desktops, and mobile devices. (I’m not sure what category this falls under, but I’m happy to help people on this.)
