I am fed up to the back teeth with the 'nanny' politics surrounding supermarket plastic carrier bags. Please can the anti-bag 'police' just pipe down a bit and let some balance and proportion come back into the debate?

People who throw rubbish out of their car

Just take a quick (safe) look outside of your car next time you stop at a slip road junction or roundabout etc. Gaze into the verge and do a visual check on all the discarded items on the roadside. It's a national disgrace

Orange dolphin Internet access

Beware of Orange's pay as you go package called 'Dolphin'. The so called 'Free unlimited Internet acess' actually means you can visit Bebo, Myspace and Facebook for free. Visits to other websites will incur additional charges.

Size does matter if you're a pedestrian

So size isn't everything? Well it certainly seems to be when it comes to pedestrians. As a pedestrian, I've realised recently that I just don't count. So many times I've been forced off the pavement and on to the road.

Dealing with the ex wife is so frustrating

Bring back public health and safety films

In the 1960s and 1970s we used to have all these short health and safety public information films on TV, and personally I think that the BBC should re-introduce these to make people aware of everyday dangers.

Bank account emptied by ex-husband

My ex-husband was hiding my post from me for almost 12 months and only passing on the correspondence I would normally be expecting, ie bills, wage slips and my own personal bank account statements.

Fireworks should be licensed

I'm no killjoy and I love organised firework displays, but the availability of these things for purchase by the ASBO generation is a recipe for disaster at worst, or a downright nuissance at best.

Annoying telephone surveys and nuisance calls

Don't you just love those annoying telephone surveys that interrupt the peace and serenity of your weekend without even the slightest hint of any reward, financial or otherwise?
