Wardrobe Wednesdays: Rosalía on LUX Tour

Photos from Rosalía’s LUX tour kept popping up on my feed this week, so I figured she’d be a great pick for today’s Wardrobe Wednesdays!

This black knit dress she wore is definitely giving elegant emo/skater girl vibes! It definitely reminded me of a corset dress lacing along the front, which I think is a fun option for alternative looks inspired by this fit.

The icing on the cake is that this knitwear dress was designed by a student, Fernanda Castra, who is currently studying at Institut Français de la Mode in Paris. Love that Rosalía and her style team support designers in training with these tour looks.

Like seriously, how fun is this emo Mozart spin, complete with a sheet music wig?

I know all the cozy, emo knitting and crochet girlies are already figuring out how to replicate this one.

Junk Journal Highlights: March 2026 Spreads

The snow decided to chill in March (thank goodness), so I didn’t have as much time locked indoors to work on junk journal pages and spreads. I also spent a week recovering from my first time trying reformer pilates, which cut out a lot of junk journaling time as I could barely open a marker with my ripped-up muscles.

However, I did do a few fun ones that I wanted to share. Let’s have a look!

Did a little bit of memory keeping on my St. Patrick’s Day page with a photo of the Headless Horseman at the parade in Sleepy Hollow (taken from inside Beekman Alehouse), and my lunch receipt from the weekend’s festivities. I spent International Women’s Day weekend in Brooklyn, so this year’s Women’s History page documents two days of exploring the borough with my future sister-in-law, brunch with friends, and a reformer pilates class that had me out of commission for 5+ days.

Happy April Fool’s week, because every time I see the promos for The Drama movie pop up on my feed I do a double take!

Zendaya attended the premiere for the film in Rome wearing something borrowed from 2022: Cate Blanchett’s black Armani gown!

While I could never pull off such a daring plunging neckline I love the geometric elements on it! The huge sequins really make it dazzle.

My celebrity doppelganger Marsai Martin showed up at the 2026 Oscars this past weekend in Hollywood, California wearing the most gorgeous chocolate brown gown!

The gown features a boned corset with subtle rouching down the middle. So elegant and bold at the same time. Absolutely love.

Girl is making me want to get a bob haircut sooner than planned but I need my hair to help shield my face from the winter that continues to linger in the Northeast.

Wardrobe Wednesdays: Viola Davis @ 32nd Actor Awards

One of my favorite actresses, Viola Davis, showed up at the 32nd Actor Awards on March 1 in the most stunning emerald Gucci gown!

Held at the at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles, the ceremony featured Davis as she announced the Actor Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role, Micahel B. Jordan (Sinners).

This is one of my favorite shades of green so of course I was amazed as soon as I saw her in this emerald green pleated silk Gucci by Demna gown with draped sleeves.

Junk Journal Highlights: Oceans Calling 2025

In honor of the upcoming Oceans Calling Festival lineup being released this week, I figured I’d finally share my 2025 festival spread while I give a little story time about how the pouring rain during the Day 2 concerts ruined my beloved Adidas. Nonetheless, I had an awesome time seeing Natasha Bedingfield and Vampire Weekend especially! Noah Kahan was also fun (and such a jokester).

Junk is from the festival (obv), a sweater tag from my future sister-in-law because she was freezing in the cold rain, and a magazine. I put the photos of us in a clear poly bag and added blue water droplet shaped rhinestones on it to look like rain falling on a transparent surface.

Junk Journal Highlights: February 2026 Spreads

There are so many fun holidays in February, which means tons of cute junk for journal pages! I had so much fun sourcing junk this month from grocery store circulars, food packaging and my local Little Free Pantry. I also got some swap items from fellow junk journalists and had a chance to shop my own stash for supplies I forgot I even had!

Wardrobe Wednesdays: Taryn Delanie @ Milano Cortina Olympic Winter Games

The Milano Cortina Olympic Winter Games might be over, but I cannot stop staring at the magnificent faux fur blue hat and cute Ralph Lauren Team USA sweater Taryn Delanie wore while attending the events in Italy this year!

The sweater is part of Ralph Lauren’s collection of Olympic apparel, as they were the official outfitter for Team USA. The sweater comes in a few different styles and they all feature an adorable variant of the little Polo Bear!

I also love the gray wool trench she wore. So chic and cozy without sacrificing warmth.

Side note: I love that she escaped to Paris when she found out her flight back to the US was cancelled due to snow We do miss our manor content though so they better get her back to NY soon.

Benito Bowl halftime show cameos did not disappoint!

I could not get over how simple yet cool Jessica Alba looked in her cameo next to Cardi B, Pedro Pascal and company out on the field in Santa Clara, California. Her baggy jeans were so laid back, paired with a structured corset top.

Begging for warm temps to come soon for more looks like these on the East Coast!
