Mulling over what I'd like for Christmas this year, I'm always craving black items during the winter, must be the cold weather that makes me want to dress incognito. This year though I'm craving those Jeffrey Campbell spiked litas, they would be a perfect addition to my ever expanding shoe collection! I plan on owning them as soon as I find them in my size. As for the Hermes Birkin bag it's really something I dream of owning but don't plan on having it anytime soon.
For now though a nice pair of creepers and some lovely things in my favorite color will do the trick!

Boring day lead to a bit of dress up. Bought this pullover from With Asian Stereotypes, its super cozy and a little bit badass, which I enjoy so much. The backless dress was bought at Tjmaxx when I wasn't looking for anything in particular, seems to always work that way whenever I shop there and it only cost $20!! Of course this look wasn't complete without my JC night walks. The most bewitching shoe I own.

Now with the weekend off and the holidays fast approaching I'll have some more time for posting. Now time for to cuddle up with some tea and watch the movie bridesmaids. Hope everyone had an awesome week.

Gypsy

The best thing happened on Saturday, my mum brought a little kitten home. She is the cutest little ball of fur I have ever seen. After a day of deliberation we finally settled on the name Gypsy. I'm really glad we adopted her from a shelter, she had a very tough first couple weeks of life and was abandoned by her feral mother. Now she has a very loving home and we will happily give her all she needs and more.

Hope everyone had a great weekend, now time for some tea and a cuddle with Gypsy.

My sisters wedding was absolutely beautiful, very classic but untraditional fall wedding. I wish I had the chance to take more photos but since I was the maid of honor I was way too busy to even think about my camera. Once we get the photos back from the photographer I'll will be posting lots more. Congrats Heather and Johnny!

Oh my goodness finally back from a months absence from blogging. Sorry it took so long to come back, between school, work, lots of birthdays, and my big sisters wedding i've had absolutely no time to do anything blog wise!

Now everything has calmed and the closet is full of new purchases from my birthday. The dusty shoe chronicles will be put on hold for now since I haven't posted in a whole month. I've really missed blogging, its really wonderful to be connected with other fashion minded people again! Lots of new posts to come <3

Oh my goodness, school has been kicking my butt. This blog must suffer somewhat if I want to keep my 4.0 average though! Good news though for this week I don't work too much so I will be posting as much as I can. Outfits, inspirations, and makeup reviews soon to come for the rest of the week.

Also decided today while looking through my shoe collection, that many pairs don't get enough love! Another long week of classes, now its finally the weekend! Here is todays outfit, as you can guess i'm kind of obsessed with these shoes and the color red. Tres chic. The blouse is from the Missoni x Target line, it doesn't fit as nicely as I originally planned, the shoulders are a bit puffy, but looks really nice under a sweater!

I'm really excited to show you more fashion week favorites, I get so amped during Paris fashion week, I'm pretty much dying over all the new collections, makes me want spring 2012 to come sooner. Since its so far away I have an ample amount of time to plan a wish list!

Anywho now time to go out to dinner with the boy and then lots of studying to be done. Have a great day all my lovely lovely readers!

Madly in love with this red blouse from romwe, so floaty and pretty. Found it to be way easier to start incorporating more color in to my wardrobe if I start with the color red. Not to mention it goes perfect with my new leopard oxfords, and after buying the 8in night walk shoes by Jeffery Campbell my feet are thanking me for flats!

Time to jet, going to the apple orchard with the boy, then lots of course work to be done. <3

obsessed with my night walk shoes, really really easy to walk in and they break lots of necks of fellow pedestrians. also bought a new bag at h&m, love it so much. red is the perfect color to brighten up my usual all black fall wardrobe!

terrible quality photos today, weather has been so awful all week. rain every single day, which will continue until next wednesday. so for now i will be taking all my photos indoors. i will however try to get the lighting better. should be quite a task!

now for the rest of the day, i will be reviewing more fashion week collections and taking a trip to the store to buy some new fragrances! hope everyone is having an awesome weekend thus far<33

my mini vacation from work started today. pretty much an uneventful day though, walked the mall and relaxed/drank too much coffee. summer is refusing to let go here in new england, the weather is still so humid and hot. which is both good and bad, good cause i love the heat and bad cause i cannot wait to start wearing my furs and cozy sweaters again. now time to go out for some drinks and dinner with lovely people then watch the proenza schouler show!

ah finally received my night walk platforms, i'll be honest they aren't the most comfortable shoes in the world but they are very easy to walk in. they will be a beautiful staple for my fall wardrobe.
also had the chance to pick up some pieces from the missoni for target collection this morning right when target opened. the racks emptied pretty darn quickly but i'm very happy with my purchases and ended up leaving with some cute socks and a button up with the signature zig zag pattern. only spent $46, really good deal compared to regular missoni which costs around $600! thinking about going back tomorrow to see if the pretty tote bag is still there, fingers crossed.
now time to review more collections from nyfw, cannot wait to see what rodarte put together this season!!

guess who just ordered the most amazing shoes on the planet. yes this girl, I will be anxiously awaiting their arrival.
i've been looking every where for these after missing the pre-order on sole struck, but after a tip from the lovely Kylie on twitter informing me they were on nasty gal, i quickly ordered my beloved night walk. pictures of these babies as soon as they arrive, trust me you'll be seeing these a lot i plan on sleeping in them!

what an amazing weekend spent with friends enjoying the last days of summer before we all start school again. today day was spent playing mini golf, and drinking pumpkin spiced coffee (my favorite). though i did epically bad at mini golf it was so much fun. hope everyone is enjoying the last days of summer!

ps. fashion week is fast approaching and i'm so very excited. also, i will be at some shows during boston fashion week, my friend yelena is walking in some shows. so if anyone else is going i hope to see you there!

way too long since my last post, i haven't been doing much else but working and getting things ready for school. oh and preparing for hurricane irene, didn't suffer any damage. my house only lost power for a short while and a few branches lay scattered around the lawn. i find myself to be very lucky, that nothing terrible happened to me or my family. though my heart goes out to families who did lose loved ones and homes during the storm <3

ps. contemplating making a twitter account, will anyone of my lovely reader follow me if i did?

such a crazy couple days, finally moved everything in to the new house, and trying to decorate my room. turns out to be extremely exhausting, my arms are very sore from lifting boxes! now i'll find some peace reading the glossy pages of the enormous september issues (the best issue of the year in my opinon) and make a list of fall purchases still to be had.

has anyone else seen best coasts our deal music video? it is such a beautiful and tragic video directed by drew barrymore and starring my favorite little actress chloe mortez. the styling is very inspiring too, so enjoy!

couple of my beauty must haves for fall, and some future purchases. such as a new set of brushes, these sigma ones are the "make me classy" set and the true blood cheek stain by tarte (it has the perfect rosy color for cheeks and lips).
as for my must haves i won't leave the house without a spritz of lush's karma perfume or my trusty kat von d lipstick in hellbent!

ah been such a busy week and it is going to be an even busier weekend. i'll try to get some outfit post of sorts up as soon as i can. hope everyone has a fantastic friday :)

retail therepy

the best cure for gloomy weather? a little bit of retail therapy of course!
nothing too incredible for fall yet in stores, but i managed to go home with a nice layering tank and black kimono style cardigan. also for the first time i didn't find any clothes i was crazy for in h&m, i did find however with that adorable little faux fur tail. perfect accessory to liven up my bag a little!

now on to the lush products. i've talked about lush before on this blog and how i'm completely addicted, i am literally a lush for lush. (now stop saying lush) anyway i finally tried their colour supplements today in the shade jackie oats. i've only used it once and i'm already in love. its really creamy but feels really light, and covers like a dream. if you're are looking for a versatile tinted moisturizer/concealer/foundation i would try these colour supplements. and of course i couldn't leave the store without stocking up on my favorite cupcake mask and tea tree toner tabs.

after todays exhausting shopping binge, time for some tea and a movie! hope everyone is having a great week<33

i never wear pink, but i couldn't resist this rose print with a nice black backround. perfect edition to my wardrobe. of course had to pair it with my favorite lace cardigan from the rodarte for target collection and my ysl look-a-likes.

now after a long day shopping with my younger cousins its time to make pink french macarons for my sisters bridal shower tomorrow and pick out what i am going to wear, then some nice drinks at a friends new apartment. hope everyone's weekend is going lovely!
