It is hard not to run into the dilemma of the old and the new in the NYC music scene. If a band is around for any period of time it is old. If a band is still playing after that initial flurry of activity, if it is around a year after that first batch of shows, they are old. I am an avid consumer of Dunkin Donuts coffee. At least once maybe two times I am stopping at a mid-town Dunkin Donuts getting a latte or iced coffee with coconut. Rock n' roll returns to Westchester County. The Capitol Theater in Port Chester reopened this fall as a rock and roll venue. The likes of Phil Tesh was on the stage tonight. Ray Lamontagne is there this Tuesday, 11/20/12. The Moody Blues, Steve Miller, Matisyahu, and My Morning Jacket will all be passing through in the next few weeks.
