If a band is around for any period of time it is old. If a band is still playing after that initial flurry of activity, if it is around a year after that first batch of shows, they are old.

How could they not, considering the flow of talent passing through. At least once maybe two times I am stopping at a mid-town Dunkin Donuts getting a latte or iced coffee with coconut. In the winter it is coffee with Hazelnut. Never do I want any sugar. Granted there is a Starbucks on every corner, I would rather search out the Dunkin. It is cheaper, it is faster, and in the end the coffee is just as good.

Barnstorming The Bowery  is one of the shows we have
listed and is a good one. It happens tomorrow night-Thursday, August
21st  at the Bowery Ballroom. It is a cool roster of acts,
including Ten Ton Mojo, Mother, Liza Colby Sound, Killcode and the
list goes on. It is in a cool venue – one of the best in city.

He is routinely to be found at shows up front catching some of the best shots. Last Weekend it was the Statues of Liberty, the Bullies and others at Arlenes Grocery - last Saturday, July 27th.

Last year I brought back the Wild West website proper (www.wildwestrocks.com ) and added to it a streaming 24/7 web radio station -Wild West Rocks (aka Wild West Radio).

Chester reopened this fall as a rock and roll venue. The likes of Phil Tesh was on the stage tonight. Ray Lamontagne is there this Tuesday, 11/20/12. The Moody Blues, Steve Miller, Matisyahu, and My Morning Jacket will all be passing through in the next few weeks.
