Kathy from T.C. Eggington's (a delicious breakfast restaurant in Mesa) stopped in the store to ask for some help with her hutch at the restaurant (you can see the before above). She was so pleased with how easy it was to transform. Keeping her palate clean and white helped show off their jams and made everything look fresh and new.

AFTER

a backyard wedding

Another beautiful wedding was held in my backyard last week. This time I didn't have to do anything, but show up and be a guest! It was such a fun wedding and everything looked so beautiful.

The bride's mother did this amazing table! The cake went in the center, but I forgot to get another pic with the cake there... whoops.

The bride made this adorable guest book herself. I loved all the different envelopes she found!

In California last week, my daughter took me to Huntington Beach to a couple of vintage shops she had come across. We had so much fun looking at all the dresses and swim suits! We fell in love with absolutely every single thing we looked at! If you are headed to Huntington (or anywhere near) this summer, you absolutely must stop and check it out!

We had the most wonderful time this weekend celebrating the marriage of Paige and Robert!

(Remember last April when we went to Italy for the engagement?) Everything was beautiful and we had so much fun! Paige looked gorgeous at the rehearsal dinner and absolutely stunning at the wedding!

We are back in California for the wedding of my dear friend Laurie's daughter this weekend. We were there a few weeks ago to throw her a shower and we all had a wonderful time.

I decorated the house just a bit here and there and got ready for all the grandkids to head our way for an Easter celebration! Everyone came over after Mass on Sunday and we enjoyed the beautiful weather, had an Easter egg hunt, ate delicious food, some napped and some swan. It was a wonderful day!

Declan was the king of confetti eggs this year...

and some of the big boys couldn't help, but enjoy the confetti eggs, as well...

We were in LA this week buying all sorts of clothes for the shop! You are going to want to buy them all! We fell absolutely head-over-heels in love with a new line called Frank and Eileen! Their "tea shirts" are the absolute best! And the packaging? To die for. Keep an eye on the blog for when they arrive in the store! They are sure to go quick!

Beverly Burch, Willows store owner and visionary,

Susan Rose, with an eye for beautiful objects and an eclectic aesthetic to put it all together, she has developed a very successful design business over the last 25 years.

Maggie VanDyke, the energetic, organized, and supportive driving force.

These three women have come together, culminating in a unique collaboration of creativity.

How does the process work?

It begins with Listening. We recognize that each client's desires and needs are specific to their lifestyle. Our designers know that listening is a crucial part of crafting a distinctive style for each home. After previewing the home and hearing what the client wants,… we develop our ideas into a Plan.

We offer a wide range of design services. We can design an entire home or merely rearrange and re-purpose with the client’s existing objects.

The proper scale of furniture, the placement of each accessory, the inter-play of textures and layering, and the color tones become the framework for the scope of each project.

Editing, and Organizing are crucial in helping us to define your vision.

We love incorporating textured elements, architectural finds, beautiful mixtures, and essentials, that can be rustic yet elegant. All of these elements come together to define the space, as well as paint a memorable reflection of personal style that our client’s love living in and sharing with friends and family. The Willow’s design team strives to bring an individualized look to each client’s home which is truly a reflection of them.

These changes can happen all at once, or slowly over a period of time. Our goal in working with our clients is for their home to be just as functional as it is beautiful.
