Sunray® Installs 3M PR70 Window Film - Medina Ohio

Sunray® completed an installation with 3M Prestige 70 Window Film. Location: 3737 Reserve Drive Medina, Ohio 44256. The homeowner was looking for a solution with regard to the fading of their furnishings. Sunray® Window Films is the "most recognized expert" for the suggestion of which window film is the perfect answer to their fading issues.

3M Prestige 70 window film was their choice to protect their new furnishings from fading and keep their views. The homeowner had Sunray® install PR70 in the Living, Dining, and Sun room area's. 63 interior glass lites were filmed with a total of 479 square feet of 3M Prestige 70 installed to the glass. With the ladder work involved and the amount of windows, Sunray® completed the job in 2 days. The customer was very pleased with our installation crew and the overall look of the 3M Prestige window film.

Sunray® installation of Fragment Retention Film – Sterling Heights, Michigan

Sunray® Window Films completed a Fragment Retention Film installation for Sal -Mar Building Company - Sterling Corporate Center @ 38219 Mound Road Sterling Heights, Michigan. A 7 mil Safety and Security film was spec'd for this project along with a wet glaze attachment system. 3M Safegard S70 and Safegard S80 Safety and Security Film was used in the installation and the wet glaze attachment used was 3M Impact Protection Adhesive.

This project took 4 1/2 days for Sunray® to complete and consisted of 95 panels of glass lites that was 2,917.53 square feet of 3M Safegard S80 Fragment Retention Film with waste. The amount of 3M IPA or 3M Impact Protection Adhesive used on this project consisted of 2,000.25 total linear feet.

Sunray® - Installion of Safety & Security Film - 3M Elyria Building

Not only did 3M make the first patent for window film but... Sunray® installs Safety & Security or Fragment Retention Film at the 3M Elyria Building, in Elyria Ohio. What a coincidence... that the manufacturer of our window films was contracting Sunray® to install safety film! This facility which manufacturer's the Scotch-Brite Pads was looking to provide safety and security to their employees working inside their building.

Officials at the building wanted to protect their employees from what Mother Nature can give you from time to time. Wind damage or tornado activity can wreak havoc on a structure without the proper protection. Window's can be your weakest link with flying glass fragments during a wind storm or a tornado. Glass fragments when broken and flying around can act as shrapnel and harm anything in its way.

3M S400 safety and security film was used along with the Impact Protection Adhesive to anchor the film from the frame of the window to the glass.

Sunray® Awarded Government Safety & Decorative Film Project - Michigan

Sunray® Window Films has been awarded a Fragment Retention Window Film & newly added Decorative Window Film project in Michigan. This government 7 mil project (3000 sq ft.) came directly from our website. This lead was automatically sent out to an Authorized 3M Dealer via Email. To my surprise... the dealer failed to contact the customer. Sunray® contacted the owner to see if the dealer had called him back. The owner of the building was frustrated that the Find A Dealer form was filled out but... the dealer did not get back to them. He asked if we were still interested in bidding the project?

As you can see... we were very interested!

I cannot emphasize enough... Check your email for leads from Sunray® and take them seriously. Just the other day, Sunray® gave a lead to Xtreme Tint in Madison AL for a Commercial window film application. This is what the customer wanted:

Sunray® Window Film installation 3M NV35 -- UniFirst Corporation

Sunray® installed 3M Night Vision 35 to all the windows throughout the UniFirst Corporation. UniFirst is located @ 1450 East Granger Road Brooklyn Heights, Ohio 44131. Meetings with the owner and maintenance supervisor on two separate visits to explain the differences between 3M vs. Vista® window films. Our competitor who promotes the Vista® window film, was trying to sell the Low E products to the customer. Every Low E window film on the market is very reflective and would change the look of the glass and building dramatically.

UniFirst officials wanted to add more performance to their glass without really changing the look. Sunray® Window Films installed 3M Prestige 60 throughout this home at 652 Parkside Drive Avon Lake, Oh 44012. ALL 82 windows were filmed with PR60 to save energy and provide UV protection for their furnishings.

Sunray® installs 3M PR70 Window Film Westlake Ohio

Sunray® installs 3M Prestige 70 for a homeowner at 3110 Chatham Court Westlake, Ohio 44145. This particular customer wanted to protect their furnishings from fading and reduce glare without changing their view.

The front of the home was treated with 3M Prestige 70 while the back upper lites were treated with 3M Prestige 50. As you can see, the customer had a problem with fading but also a problem with glare on their television screen. With the 3M Prestige 50 installed we eliminated 44% of the unwanted glare and 99.9% of the damaging uv rays. This particular customer also has XM/Sirius Satellite Radio, and with the 3M Prestige Window Film installed they don't have to worry about signal blockage because 3M Prestige Film are not made with metals unlike most competitive films on the market. 3M™ Window Film Case Study – Cleveland Marriott Downtown - Sunray®

Sunray® completed another install for the Cleveland Marriott Downtown at 127 Public Square Cleveland Ohio 44114. Sunray® has installed different 3M films at this location over the past 8 years. Films like, 3M Fasara SH2MA ML Milano on the bellhop doors and conference rooms throughout the building. Problem area glass that looked dirty but was spruced up with 3M NV15 underneath the overhang of the entrance way. This was a difficult install because of the outside traffic going in and out of the building.

Most importantly the Heat and Glare problem for the 2nd floor windows in the ball room area are now under control. The 3M Night Vision 15 was used to alleviate the unbearable heat and glare coming from the eastern sky. Customers were complaining how hot and bright this area was in comparison to the rest of the building. Management wanted a film that would match the existing building tinted glass if possible in order to not be able to notice a difference in the glass.

The right company (Sunray®) and the right film (3M NV15) was selected to correct the problem. From the inside and out the 3M NV15 matches the existing tinted glass and reduces the glare and heat. Now ,the 2nd floor ballroom area looks like their never was a problem!
