Magalawa island is located at Palauig, Zambales. This island is inhabitated by friendly people and surrounded by variety of trees specially mangoes. It has creamy to white sand beach but not as fine as the sand in Boracay. (But I guess it is still above the ordinary.) . The water is very clear and calm where you can even typecast it as a lake. It is also abundant in starfish, sea urchins (so beware!). There are also seaweeds everywhere and you can't even swim far from the shore.

There are only two resort owners here, One is owned by the Armada and the other is by Ruiz (Mang Mulo is the caretaker of this). However there are stories from locals that Ms. Ruiz is the one who owns both and the Armadas just illegally settled a resort. Its actually a very long story and Im sure you'll hear that when you get there. Anyway, Both of them offers accomodation package and If you plan to go there make sure to contact one of them so that
there's someone who could assist you just in case you get lost. It is also
a must so you don't have to worry about where to get a boat etc. Its definitely
not like going to anawangin or nagsasa where there are boatmen you could
approach to take you there.

To get here one must travel about 6 hours (including trike and Boat ride). For commuters, there are actually two option.

Option1:

Ride a bus bound to Sta. Cruz and get off at Masinloc Town Proper

Then walk to the port (or you may ride a tricycle if you want)

Ride a boat going to Magalawa (arranged with your contact person)

Option2:

Ride a bus bound to Sta. Cruz and get off at Brgy. Pangolingan, Radyo veritas road

Ride a tricycle going to Luan

Ride a boat going to Magalawa (arranged with your contact person)

We actually did both. I mean we use option 2 to go there and the reverse of option 1 back to Manila. But I Advise you to take Option 1 back and forth because aside from the fact that it is easier, The tricycle in Pangolingan is very expensive!

It is a white sand, crescent shape cove located at San Antonio, Zambales.

Unlike the famous beach Boracay, this place is not yet developed (and hope to stay as such to preserve its natural beauty). There are No resorts or Hotels to check-in so bring your own tent and be ready for camping. The best place to camp there is under the tall pine trees, though it’s too crowded during summer season. You can bring your own food (and don’t forget to bring plenty of water) or simply catch fish (sounds interesting right?). More or less you can do a survivor-like adventure if you desire!.

Though If you’re not an adventurous type of person and just want to visit or drop by at anawangin. You can actually stay in pundaquit (which is also a very nice place). There are lots of resorts there where you can stay.

How to get there:

Take a bus bound to Iba or Sta. Cruz Zambales. Victory Liner bus in Cubao or Caloocan have trips bound to this place. Get off at San Antonio. Bus Fare ranges from P235 to P270 pesos

Ride a tricycle going to pundaquit. the tryk will cost you P25 - P50 per head depending on how well you negotiate with the driver

From pundaquit, you can hire a boat that will take you to Anawangin which will take about 40 minutes. Boat rental is P1200 which is good for 4 people. However, if you’re physically fit and think you can endure the 3-5 hr. trek to Anawangin (depending on your speed), you can do so and hire a guide for 500 pesos. If you're a newbie, Don’t do it yourself for there are information that there are wilds in that area.

Traveller Tips:

Bring tents with lock if you plan to stay at the cove for 2 to 3 days. If you will go far from your tent have at least one person left to take care of your belongings. Because as of today, lots of campers converge in this cove.

Bring enough Utensils/Cooking Gear or ready to eat meals.

There are boatman who actually lend Camping gears for free. (Except for the tent)

It is advisable to prepare your itinerary before going there in order to avoid wasting time in decision making when you are already there.

I actually didn't expect that it would be that short. I thought it would last for 8 rounds or even a 12 round fight. The Hitman is definitely strong for he takes lots of punches coming from pacman but lack of defense made him lose his crown.

Hope this fight has taught lesson to all not to underestimate their opponent. The world is round!, anything could happen. Be Humble and always keep your feet on the ground just like pacman!

Pacman really made every filipino proud for beating the Boxer from the west side of the world. Congratulation's again to the worlds Number ONE pound for pound fighter!!!!

What I see, What I feel, What I hear.. Its sad that i missed a lot of things/event that i could have shared the world. But it's really hard for me to continue blogging during those years that i really need to focus on my studies and as well as facing personal and family problems.

And finally im back again. I want to keep this blog alive. Since I already finished studying, I can devote more time in posting my experiences and express my self to the world through this blog.
What I see, What I feel, What I hear.. I'll share it here :)
