Quick Tip: Blending

What can I say? It is impossible to ever ever ever EVER EVERRRR go out without blending your face... And the best tip I can give you in the task of blending is blend dark into light... Seems obvious right? You would be surprised by the people who do not know this simple fact and where to blend is key too.
On your cheeks you blend up and out never down and it's because it gives your face a round fat look and you do not look as defined as you would like to be.
On your eyes unless wanted generally you will always blend down especially with the crease because we don't want that dark crease mixed with your bright highlight of your brow bone...

But always blend this is extra special for real women and for those looking for a natural look drag and theatre are a different story(:

Moms do you have a busy life? No time to pamper yourself? Well I have a secret for you, if you want time you will find it. And beyond make-up there are several things you can do to pa pamper yourself, so with such a busy life and kids work and the hubby to deal with how IS it possible to still look good and feel refreshed?

1.) Give yourself a night out! If you have older kids or a babysitter take you and your hubby out everyone In awhile. (guys don't forget to treat your lady) and the simplest things kill stress even sending the kids out with friends for the night.

2.) Take a bath. This tip I have found very helpful for myself and have told my mother about and anyone can do this. Okay Sunday night take a bath treat yourself with some bath salts burn a candle put some music on and let your Hubby have the kids for the night, this is your night. I usually use Sunday because it gets you prepared for the upcoming week.

3.) Candles do wonders! While your working or while you are just laying down different sents simulate different things.

1. Citrus Scent - Energy

Need a pick-me-up? Grab a cup of java and light a citrus candle, citrus scents enhance energy and boost mood; so look for candles with lemon, lime, grapefruit, verbena, or orange scents.

2. Lavender Scent - Relaxation

When it's time to wind down try burning a lavender candle. In studies, lavender has been found to correlate with slower heart rate, lower blood pressure, and lower arterial pressure. It has also been found to decrease muscle tension. Other scents that have been found to have relaxing effects are bergamot and sandalwood.

3. Citris, Minty, and Pine Scents - Uplifting, Clean

If you want to create a cheerful, clean environment in your home, choose candles scented with citrus, mint, or pine. Often these scents can be not only uplifting and motivating, but just give that "clean" feel. When you or your guests walk in, these scents will be a fresh breeze to welcome anyone.

4. Jasmine, Gardenia, Sandalwood, and Rose Scents - Romantic

There's romance in the air if you're burning scents such as these. Floral and woody scents give that wistful, romantic feel to a room.

5. Season Enhancing Scents

Delve into the season with your favorite candles scents! Autumn's a great time for burning pumpkin spice candles, as well as other baked good candle scents, as is winter. To create that cozy winter environment, choose cinnamon, apple, berry, and pine candles. Fresh candle scents such as cucumber melon are great for spring, as well as fresh cut grass candles which carry into summer. Nothing says summer like a nice citrus, like a lemonade candle scent drifting through the air.

If you love a certain candle, soap, or body spray - whatever the scent may be - don't do what I too often do, which is save it until that scent runs out! Light it and enjoy, it's sure to affect you in a positive way!

Ever had that feeling of just gross skin then you wash and now you feel dry? Well How about I give you a wonderful recipe to quench the thirst of your dry skin (This is good for oily skin too).

1 Egg (Whites only)
1/2 Cup of Oatmeal (Unflavored)
1/2 Of a Tomato (Juice and seeds no skin)
1 Squeezed Orange (Citric Acid Great for acne so this is optional)
And a bit of EVOO not for oily skin only for dry skin

Now Mix everything together, Add more oatmeal if not pasty enough Apply to skin let sit for 15-20 Mins wash with warm water and poof great skin. For the price of a McChicken!

Eyeliner, Eyeliner, Oh Darling Eyeliner

Dear Wonderful Reader,
In this wonderful world of make-up how do we deal with eyeliner and how do we apply it and WORK IT! Well it is probably the most fundamental tool of eye makeup It has the power just to complete a look. From getting that sharp look to that Beautiful winged cat eye we all use it but do we all know how?

I am going to give you three easy steps on how to get that wonderful eyeliner job.

1.) NEVER EVER EVER! EVER! Pull your eye down to get eyeliner on your waterline it may seem like it is easier and it is but if you practice doing it without pulling your eye down then you will get better at it. What it does is it Causes pre-mature ageing and crows feet by stretching the skin. While also giving you a false impression on what the intensity of the color is.

2.) Begginers use gel, or a felt tip liquid. It is a easy method to work with as someone who never good with liquid eyeliner when I first started I thought I would never get a strait line on the top of my lid and really it is something that take practice but a felt tip gives you more control and it dries faster so you don't have to worry about it transferring to your lower brow. And Personally I Like gel It works better and gives me more options and control in the make up.

3.) Use a light hand. Shaking or a hard hand can lead to unsteady line and lumpy looking eyes which is not attractive on you trust me... also be very careful with wings and unsteady hands because it leads to uneven wings and it leads to thick wings.
