Inception (2010 film)

"What is the most resilient parasite? A bacteria? A virus? An intestinal worm?" - A science-fiction-action-heist film from the imagination of director Christopher Nolan gives us a fresh new experience with a very dark element combining both The Matrix and The Dark Knight comes a movie titled: Inception.

Arthur (Joseph Godron-Lewitt), Saito (Ken Watanabe) & Dominic Cobb (Leornardo DiCaprio)

Two gentlemen dressed in a decent piece of suit having a conversation with Mr. Saito (Ken Watanabe), a Japanese businessman. The gentlemen on the left begin explaining about "Extraction" scientifically while his partner tried to intercept so to response in rather more direct. The Japanese shows no interest.

It may seem that way but the two gentlemen, Dominic Cobb the Extractor (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Arthur the Point-Man (Joseph Gordon-Lewitt) were not there to have a chatty conversation instead to extract some important information from Mr. Saito for their employer: Cobol Engineering.

However, everything begins to shatter and rumble when Dom's wife - Mallorie aka Mal (Marion Cottilard) appeared in the scene. Mal sabotaged Dom's extraction operation. Arthur got shot dead.

Arthur seems to be alive and breathing and appeared within a different world while riots behind the scenes raises tension amidst explosions. It appears that Dom is "sharing dream" with Saito.

Using sophisticated machines to enter and share dreams with another person is not very pleasant but for the sake of an important mission and the amount of money offered? Why not?

Nash (Lukas Haas) the Architect made a mistake in current dream state while Dom has yet to be awaken after succeeding in stealing Saito's information but that's not just it. Saito woke up and had a brawl with Nash and Arthur. The operation backfired when Dom returns. With all means, the stolen information was invalid.

The team was disbanded in the real world while Dom and Arthur makes the escape only to be caught by Saito in the real world as he offered them money and freedom. Dom took the offer because he needs the freedom to stop running as a fugitive.

Saito promises to honor the arrangement so as Dom could return home with his children.

Dom tries to convince Robert Fisher (Cilian Murphy) by warning him that there are security measures needs to be taken.

Dom was instructed to assemble a new team to complete the mission. The newly assigned mission is on Robert Fischer (Cillian Murphy) - the son of the ill-sticken Maurice Fischer (Pete Postlethwaite). The objective is to have the young Fischer not managed his father's business mogul - who is also Saito's corporate rival.

Arthur and Ariadne (Ellen Page) within the second stage of dream.

Dom recruits Eames the Forger (Tom Hardy), Ariadne the new Architect (Ellen Page) and Yusuf the Chemist (Dileep Rao) with the involvement of Saito in the team to accomplish the mission.

The action in this film varies from different stages of dreams until the limbo. The limbo will connect us to the first scene showing a very old and haggard Mr. Saito.

Inception is like the advance-tutorial of understanding; just like James Cameron's Avatar. The concept of the film is very alike like The Matrix except the fact that you won't die in your sleep like how The Matrix did.

Every scenes of Inception is meticulously detailed and requires one full attention in understanding about the stages of the dream world and what may happen in the dream world.

It is like taking Carl Jung and Siegmund Freud hypothetical content analysis theories and turning them into movies.

Dom's spinning totem

The film shows an important item which they called it totem. A unique item where only the user knows what is it like and for them to know that they are actually in the real world.

However, the state of having a dream within a dream is not impossible. It appears when someone tried to wake you up and you fall back into your sleep and start dreaming about waking up and doing your daily routine when you are actually still in your sleep and when you tried to wake up in the real world, you feel numb and still unaware if you are still dreaming but your head feels tired. That is something I have experience and endured and scientist called it sleep paralysis.

Blackest Night | Brightest Day by Jordache Wee

Blackest Night | Brightest Day (BNBD) was created on September 10, 2010 at Tumblr. After witnessing and experiencing its features for live-micro-blogging has become a useful tool in the rapidly evolving Web 2.0.

This blog will be showcasing about anything from the ideology and mind of the author. It can be very critical and sensitive. He will be taking up the challenge to comment on a particular issue while posting anonymous and personal items on his micro-blog.

His primary blog, The World of Midnight (TWoM) will continue to suffice and continuing other legacies of his work, namely his dark poems, movie reviews, music reviews in full reviews. While some will probably migrate to Tumblr or perhaps remain here - it is quite uncertain.

Likewise as mentioned, TWoM will still be publishing articles and reviews in full review. While BNBD will still hand-in-hand work together with TWoM, as BNBD will promote on TWoM's articles.

If you have seen some of his unfinished works at Black Theatre, Red Lantern (BTRL), it is most likely to be resolved. Probably dismantling but I'm still thinking about it!

The micro-blog title: Blackest Night | Brightest Day is an inspiration from #DCU (DC Universe) Comics whereby comic writers: Geoff Johns and Peter Tomasi wrote the arc of Blackest Night about Black Lantern Corps featuring Black Hand and Nekron in raising the dead - we follow the adventures of Deadman from his viewpoints up to the current arc: Brightest Day where all 12 resurrected superheroes and supervillians are needed to fulfill tasks given by the White Ring - Back to Deadman telling the story etc.

However, Blackest Night | Brightest Day by Jordache Wee is about his individual perspective, ideas, comments and critics about general and random stuffs specifically when he use to micro-blog about something.

Another certainties could be that Blackest Night represent himself being a late-night author sitting on his desktop as he frequently blogs after midnight while on Brightest Day could be about his day job surrounding depicting images of what he does.

Taylorian, Journalist, Friend: R.I.P. Joash Wee

Rest in Peace: Joash Wee

A student, a Taylorian, a journalist - I have lost a friend this year. Ronnie James Dio's death was a shock but what more shocking is that I have lost a friend who has similar traits: surname, (political) ideologies and music genre.

While watching a local news on television, I saw list of familiar names but assumed it will not be him. So I tried to see his Facebook page; there I saw many condolences on his Facebook Screen. R.I.P. Joash Wee . It was absolutely fucking unbelievable.

I believe this year he was about to graduate from 3 years of studies while twinning with the University of South Australia (UniSA) programme with Taylor's College Petaling Jaya: School of Communication; specifically majoring in Journalism. He has yet to be another great journalist.

Unfortunately, everything is unpredictable and inevitable. It's just like that. But, from a different perspective, above wherever you are between the limbo, have a safe journey and godspeed if there is such a place! Take care! You and your siblings! May the light draws the pathline.

Thanks for supporting SOC Media Carnival 2009!

Five Killed, Three Hurt In Pahang Road Accident

PEKAN, June 17 (Bernama) -- Five people were killed and three others badly injured in an accident between a multipurpose vehicle and a trailer lorry at Km87 of Jalan Kuantan-Segamat on Thursday, police said.

Pekan police deputy chief DSP Amran Sidek said the dead were identified as Roland Wee Seng Hock, 56, senior assistant of a secondary school in Muar, Johor, his son Joash Wee, 23, two daughters Jasinth Wee, 18, and Jelyn Wee, 16, and mother-in-law Lim Kim Boon, 79.

Those injured were Seng Hock's wife, Chew Chin Loi, 54, and two other children of theirs, Jemima Wee, 17, and Josiah Wee, 13, he said, adding that they were under treatment at the Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital in Kuantan.

The Seng Hock family, from Taman Mas Ria, Muar, was believed to have been on the way to Melaka in a Naza Ria MPV after having spent three days of the school holidays visiting a family friend in Kuantan when the accident occurred at 7.45am.

The empty trailer lorry was going from Segamat to Kuantan, he said, adding that the slightly injured driver had been detained.

Amran said Seng Hock, his mother-in-law and two of his children died on the spot while Jasinth died during treatment at the Muadzam Shah Hospital due to a severe head injury.

This was the second bad accident in almost a fortnight on Jalan Kuantan-Segamat. On June 7, six people were killed in an accident about 10km away from today's accident spot.

A curse of damnation on this Holy Haven,

A new world is created on this sacred soil,

Retelling a time when the angels attacks and the demons screams,

Our fantasy world is designed on its blackest night,
All hopes and faiths crumble,
Along with the bravest and boldest knight,
In midst destruction of terrifying rubble.

Perished are the brewing storm,
Together with seas churning red wine,
The surface covers with infinite tomb,

*Dante Alighieri's The Divine Comedy and Iron Maiden's A Matter of Life and Death plays a major inspiration to my latest masterpiece. It took me about close to a month to brainstorm and final editing my dark poem.

This latest poem i wrote; I must admit that it is one of the longest and darkest poem I have ever wrote for this year. I combine both Alighieri and Iron Maiden's work to create my own depiction and mythological history and relate today's modern day of 21st century.

Seemingly to make it like a tall tale about what shapes the people in this era. Yet they cannot change their habitual behavior of their greatest sins. People are always provoking each other to raise anger and hatred; thus causing casualties among the innocents. War is a common factor fueled by communication breakdown and misjudgment.

The picture is chosen by me from Cristina de Santana's artwork in his rendition of Apocalypse. I was actually googling and searching for such great impact of art that i happen to find this art in Art Review page.

Australian legendary hard rock band - AC/DC is currently touring the world with its Black Ice World Tour when they recently film one of their classic album cut "Shoot to Thrill" in Buenos Aires for the Iron Man 2 music video.

Along with Angus (lead guitarist), Malcom Young (rhythm guitarist), Brian Johnson (lead singer), Cliff Williams (bassist) and Phil Rudd (drums) rocking the scene. They have been touring to bring back the glorious memories of the 80s rock 'n roll and being the pioneer for today's music of heavy metal.

We even get to see Angus doing the famous "duck walk" which is similar to Chuck Berry rendezvous version.

According to Marvel.com News (2010), the Black Ice World Tour 2009 is one of the highest grossing concert. The music video which combines footage of the upcoming Iron Man 2 film is being covered by AC/ DC's Shoot to Thrill song from the album Back in Black.

But I suggest you to purchase the original albums - they are much enjoyable compare to compilations. Black Ice is a must get album! And if you like it, please listen to Slayer, Iron Maiden and Megadeth!!

Facebook's War Metal - Some Crazy Cap Breakers & Emo Players Tearing the Game

War Metal is the new name for War Machine

War Metal can be quite a sensitive game sometimes. People gets their temper on easily and starts cursing within the game. Nasty rants! Like many other games which provides comments tab.

Well, that's all common. None of which i care because the games application are for killing time and releasing tension. They should be thankful that i did not report them to Dev (Developer) and i see many in-game application botters like Mafia Wars and many others more. It's a disease to reach the highest level and gaining whatever you want and be a bully. At the end of the game is that, you won't get any allies.

As for War Metal, I recently googled my IGN (in-game name) across the internet because I thought who knows i did be famous. And "oh my", there goes me in some random forum. He goes by the name Penmen posting his ramblings how he's being killed by my units. That's because he's been killing my brother's units so i thought i did teach him for a month. Funny thing he didn't read the name which can be seen within the game. And another thing is that I just found my brother added him as an ally?? What??

Well, the emo player Penman - i know his profile and i found he's Sabahan from Malaysia. If he did acknowledge me sooner, i will stop attacking but if he doesn't even bother to acknowledge. Why bother? Just keep firing!!

Anyways, I have not been to the battle list yet since lots of Epic Battles. Currently at Level 71 roaming in Triton Deep farming Orcas and Razors to get new formation. Getting more Prestige and need 1 more wyrm token..

The Xeno Mothership duration still have 6 Days before it dies

Recently I was involved in a Xeno Mothership battle, was really hoping to get something from this beast. But some player dealt an amount of 5 million damage being the enormous Cap Breaker with the second person dealing only a mere 1.1 million damage.

I bet he's ought to earn everything for himself. And according to the comment post - he pays U$ 200 to deal that much damage. Insane player. Either he's desperate or he's too rich!

Happy 2010 Year! Next year is my year to rule!

Hello random and avid readers and friends and whoever you are!

Season greetings and Happy New Year! I'm not really into the English New Year's spirit and all. Not being an anti here at all. Certainly not.

I believe every year is the same - just that you grew older and wiser (perhaps?); mature and make hell lot of new friends and colleagues which is a good thing, positive stuff. Things to know, to learn and to share too!

I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year! Though it has already past. Basically I just realize it's already 2010. But no matter.

This year on this blog will publish more comics review and movie reviews. I have been writing some sort of sci-fi manuscript and is still thinking to whether to publish on the blog or just keep writing till i send to any publication and had it read and published (if successful).

FYI, all movie, comics and music reviews are my personal review based on what i watched, read and listen.

Movie reviews - Usually i don't give full story review on movies, unless i feel like spoiling the whole thing if not - you have to find out! I'm planning to grade the movies via story/ plot, sound, special effects. But i don't think it's sufficient - it would be better if you read my opinion and watch on your judgmental. I welcome comments and debates in the COMMENT POST.

And CBOX are actually for informing on what you wanna know and telling me what i should do.

Comic reviews - YES! I purchased them and read them and review them. But usually i will download the .cbr format then read it... - purchased them in a month times and deleted the downloaded file. So, in the end coming clean with the hardcopy purchase! I got lots of mainstream comics/ graphic novels/ single issue/ trade paperback - phew! Most of them are in DC Universe; Justice League of America, Justice Society of America, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and Flash.

Music reviews - I have been trapped in the 80s - 90s rock and metal. The only review you will see me write is either their updated albums or another new metal band. But haven't done anything near music yet.. And so far nothing near 2000s besides listening to chillout musics, orchestras and instrumental soundtracks.

Video game reviews - The last game i played was on PS3. Soul Calibur IV, MGS4 and pretty much that's it! PC Games? My com couldnt support AC2 nor other 2009 games besides CnC: RA3 which pretty much sucky. L4D is not my type of genre gaming. I'm bored with anything gotta do with ZOMBIES!!!

THERE ARE TOO FUCKING MUCH OF ZOMBIES SINCE IT INVADED THE MOVIES IN 2008, MARVEL ZOMBIES & DC's BLACKEST NIGHT (graphic novels), L4D2 & RTCW2...etc.

**Blackest Night and Return to Castle Wolfenstein 2 are accepted but the rest are my spits!

Vengeance (2009 film)

Vengeance is a simple story by Johnnie To. Yet taken by his artistic choreography skills making the film like many of his triad-brotherhood films alike like his style especially when we watch Exiled (放逐), Election (黑社会) and Election 2 (黑社会2：以和为贵); not to mention Sparrow(文雀).

In the beginning, we see blonde wife telling her children to not to run while under the rain while her husband a chinese local returns from home. She was cooking spaghetti for dinner when someone rang the door as her husband went to check the peephole - a shotgun was fired through the door without warning and shot to death by three unknown hitmen.

Forcing the wife and her two children go hiding upstairs in the master bedroom. Her children are kept safe inside the wardrobe while she gets her gun ready while one of the hitman lean against the wall and she began to shoot and it hits his ear. She was gunned down and her children saw her on the ground.

The children has saw the hitmen faces and one of the hitman has no choice but to assassinate them.

We see the wife landed in the hospital, still breathing but paralyze. And a an elderly man arrived in Hong Kong to visit the paralyze wife; who turnout to be his daughter, Irene Costello (Sylvie Testud). The father spoke in French to her to indicate what she wants to tell him and she wants to seek revenge upon her family.

François Costello aka Mr. Costello (Johnny Hallyday) went on his own investigation seeking for hitmen for himself. Soon, he found Kwai (Anthony Wong), Chu (Gordon Lam Ka-Tung) and Fei Lok (Lam Suet) as his choice. Their reward would all his wealth and a restaurant in France. When asked about his background-he told them that he is chef but his former life was a hitman back 20 years ago. But his weakness is his illness that he might not remember anyone or anything he does.

When their investigation starts to bear fruit, the hitmen who kills his daughter family is none other than fishermen: Wolf (Eddie Cheung Siu Fai), Python (Felix Wong) and Crow (Ng Ting Yip).

The standoff between the Mr. Costello's hitmen and his enemies went awry when they get to escape. Mr. Costello was badly injured and Fei Lok got hit in his ass.

Kwai received a phone call from his potential client, George Fung (Simon Yam); who direct the hit on his girlfriend and her lover when he found out the affair somewhere in the scene. Mr. Fung then ask him and his men to attend to another group of hitmen who was shot by "3 chinese men and 1 white man" which brings them back to them.

Johnnie To surprises more to us with the gundown showdown and escapism and the story continues to the end with soberness and artistic standalone one-on-all.. A good script written by none other than his long collaborator Wai Ka-Fai.

Mr. Costello's having his memory loss after the gunfight; doesn't remember anything about revenge

Johnny Hallyday - the French pop icon who is currently at age 66 has been a famous icon in France. He is another legend, we do not fondly hear of. So when Johnnie meets Johnny, it's a masterpiece work of art. Hallyday, who's real name Jean-Philippe Smet is known by Frenchmen as the Elvis of France and Johnnie who casted him in Vengeance took him because he has the features of a former hitman.

Vengeance and Exiled by Johnnie To has such similar conception. If you like watching his films, you should checkout Vengeance.

クロ-ズ　ＺＥＲＯ 2 (Crows ZERO - II) [2009]

Crows ZERO - II (2009 film)

Crows ZERO - II returns with Genji Takiya (Shun Oguri) trying to defeat Rinda-man (Fukami Motoki) over and over again. The man who defeat Tamao Serizawa (Yamada Takayuki) and Serizawa's Army is currently a proud, arrogant and naive fool.

One day, Noboru Kawanishi (Abe Shinnosuke) was released from juvenile centre and visit a tomb which tells us the story behind it when Housen High School's baldies led by Toshi Matoba (Abe Ryohei) has been waiting for the day he gets out of the centre for the revenge of their dead-leader Mito-san.

Kawanishi ran as fast as he could until he crashed into Suzuran territory whereby Serizawa, Tokio (Kiritani Kenta), Mikami brothers (Hisato and Yusuke Izaki), Shoji (Kamiji Yusuke) and Tokaji (Kaname Endou) hanging out area.

Serizawa is caught between deciding his old comrade Kawanishi because it was a sudden surprise to see him back on the streets. Genji and the GPS leaders came into the scene and tries to settle things when Matoba insulted Serizawa.

Genji started to throws punches and kicks at Matoba and the baldies. But what he doesn't know is that he has just broken the "non-aggression" treaty pact between Suzuran and Housen. This means this will be the second war among these schools will happen soon.

Kawanishi tried to find Ken Katagiri (Kyousuke Yabe) when he meet up with Soshu syndicate's yakuza boss Joji Yazaki (Kenichi Endo) with no results but the boss told him that he has assassinate him. Kawanishi then desperately tries to enter the Soshu syndicate and beg him to allow him to a yakuza under him.

Ken Katagiri was not dead and he has been working as a repairman for fisherman's boats by the shore. Kawanishi had a conversation with him.

Narumi Taiga, who wants to seek revenge on Suzuran High over the two years incident murdered by Kawanishi that he order the attack on when the Suzuran's leader are in small groups.

Gota Washio (Namioka Kazuki), a second year student from Suzuran from the previous film transferred himself to Housen High School talking about his hatred for his former Suzuran High - with the same goal, being reckless he wants to be the best but often confuse. On the night when Makise (Tsutomu Takahashi) was severely attacked, Gota even tried to repeat the history done by Kawanishi by getting a pen-knife out and tries to kill Makise but was stopped by Narumi and he was disowned then.

Mentally-ill, he tries to prove that he is better than this, Gota burns down Suzuran High and making Genji, Serizawa and the rest thinking that Narumi and Housen High are the one who do this.

However the Suzuran-Housen war, Serizawa's Army is not involved and does not want to aid Genji and the GPS. Izaki (Sousuke Takaoka) confronted Serizawa and says that if he defeat him; Serizawa should help GPS.

Soshu's yakuza boss will consider to accept Kawanishi if he wants to be a yakuza by one condition: Kill the Ryuseikai's yakuza boss - Hideo Takiya (Kishitani Goro) who is Genji's father.

At the common bar where Genji and Ruka (Meisa Kuroki) always spend the night, Hideo coincidentally arrived to meet his son to test how good is he and gave him a couple of advices. Soon after, Hideo left and wants to take a piss behind a dark alley - he was shot by Kawanishi.

Hideo survived the shot and Kawanishi needs to put him to sleep forever but was defended by Katagiri to make him stopped and return to the right path.

The Suzuran-Housen begins with Genji arriving alone on the Housen's ground without any of his GPS friends but soon arrived later along with Serizawa's Army...

The film ends with another challenge from Genji to Rinda-man again..

Takashi Miike never fails to surprise us even in this sequel! Ending it with a cliffhanger. There's no parents and teachers in this film at all so far. Except yakuzas involvement briefly in the film between the Soshu and Ryuseikai.

Crows ZERO (2007 film)

Based upon an epic manga by Hiroshi Takahashi - Crows depict the life and violence of all-boys school trying to be the best leader and fighter in the school. The School of Crows otherwise known as Suzuran High School is one of the worst school in Tokyo.

However, director Takashi Miike's Crows ZERO tells the story before the one in the manga which is only known as Crows. In an undated event, Crows Zero, Suzuran High School is lead by one of the biggest and notorious group known as the Serizawa Army with their leader, Tamao Serizawa (Takayuki Yamada).

Until one day, Genji Takaya (Shun Oguri) was transferred to Suzuran High School and vowed to conquered Suzuran High School. This dream only revealed late in the film when Genji's yakuza father - Hideo (Goro Kishitani) said that he was once a Suzuran High's student and he cannot conquerd the hill and he wants his son to do so before he can take over the family business.

Genji first encounter with Serizawa was when Serizawa was being tailed by a police inspector before crashing into the school field.

We get to see Ken Katagiri (Kyosuke Yabe) who was with one of the yakuza mob ran away from the scene when the police handcuffed Serizawa.

Later in the scene we get to see rookie yakuza Katagiri befriended with Genji and teach him how to be brave and bold to take control of Suzuran High by beating up the class leader and convincing them to join them.

Though reckless, he managed to get some gangs to be under him. He then convinced Takashi Makise (Tsutomu Takahashi) by introducing him a group date. Although he failed to get a date with all the weird occasion - he support Genji.

Genji then meets with Ruka Aizawa (Meisa Kuroki), who is a bar and club-stage singer. Ruka's falls for his masculiness but decline his violence behavior and involvement with the idea of ruling the school.

At the end, Genji had Makise and Izaki (Sousuke Takaoka) which create the GPS (Genji Power Seiha) on his side to defeat the Serizawa Army and Mikami brothers ( twins Yusuke and Hisato Izaki). Throughout here, the battle continues with lots of thunder roaring and bashing until Genji won the battle and declared as the new leader of Suzuran High School.

The film ended with the scene which is also the intro scene where Ken Katagiri being shot by his yakuza boss for disobeying orders which is to kill his rival Hideo's son: Genji to end the heir line. With a cliffhanger, the film will continue in Crows ZERO - II.

Not to forget! It has a great soundtrack featuring Bosozoku rock song by THE STREET BEATS

And this is also one of my favorite film and director. Nothing beats Takeshi Miike!! Overall it kinda reminds me of Tohru Fujisawa's Shonan Junai Gumi. However so, the theme is not just about violence but about friendship and leadership and also respect!

Samurai Avenger: The Blind Wolf (2009 film)

Kurando Mitsutake combines spaghetti with wasabi sauce instead of a regular tomato or mushroom sauce. This film captures both the Asian and Western market as Mitsutake brings both Asian and Western actors to together and make a cross-culture influence in his film: Samurai Avenger: The Blind Wolf.

My eyes!? Oh gawd! Finally I get to be like Zatoichi!!

Also in this film, Mitsutake stars as The Blind Wolf and a sworn revenger antagonist! The story is about a Japanese man and his American wife and their daughter camping in the desert when suddenly a psychopath - Nathan Flesher (Domiziano Arcangeli) appeared and had his wife and daughter massacred in front of him and was forced to rip his own eyes.

A few years later, the Japanese return as a master samurai and vow absolute vengeance on Flesher when he revisit the town.

But Nathan Flesher has also been waiting for him and has hired several assassins to put The Blind Wolf into a six-feet under.

With the assistance of The Drifter (Jeffrey James Lippold), a mysterious swordsman helps The Blind Wolf to fulfill his goal to hack and slash his way to Flesher.

This film may remind you of Bruce Lee's Enter the Dragon (minus martial arts). A blend of Asian mix Western always leaves a bloody trail of excitement and curiousity. The style and choreography portrayed in this film too leads back to Takeshi Kitano's Zatoichi (a blind masseur + swordsman). You combine Enter the Dragon + Zatoichi = Samurai Avenger: The Blind Wolf. Interesting eh?

Yoroi: The Samurai Zombie (2009 film)

Yoroi: The Samurai Zombie is directed by Tak Sakaguchi. Starring Mitsuru Fukikoshi, Issei Ishida, Shintaro Matsubara, Airi Nakajima, Tak Sakaguchi (himself) and also Kyosuke Yabe (who acted as Ken Katagiri in Crows ZERO).

The story tells a happy family on a road trip when they suddenly saw a car accident and the father stopped to help the victim of the car. To his demise that the victim was not dead and he is a wanted fugitive.

The fugitive then takes over the car with the father held at gun-point to drive as told and guided to. Soon they encounter a barricade before the highway that the fugitive decided to use a different path to avoid the barricades via the woods.

A paranormal-like activity begin to make the car's GPS (global positioning system) into blood. With the monitor soaking and overflowing blood; the car just breaks down. The family is in deep fear as they know nothing about their whereabouts. The fugitive then tell the father to repair the car while holding his family as hostages.

The father then tried to seek help and finds a village as he walks from the top of the hill. But it was a cemetery than a village. He then digs the ground and finds a rusty knife. He doesn't seem to have control of his doings that he took the knife to his throat and begin beheading himself until his decapitated head rolls to a tomb with lots of blood gushing into the ground.

A glimmering sharp katana begin to arise from the burial ground with an ancient samurai warrior crawling from his tomb. The samurai zombie then swings his katana at the father's head and head towards to the car while the family and the fugitive has wandered further into the woods.

But this was no hero samurai zombie to save the family from the fugitive instead the dead is back for a bloody vengeance! (Sounds like DC's Blackest Night series)

ロボゲイシャ (RoboGeisha) [2009]

Another film by Noboru Iguchi brings us to another gore-comedy flick of RoboGeisha. The story tells about two Kagusa sisters who are both geisha (Yoshie and Kikue) and are kidnapped by an unknown organization and therefore transform into a living killing humanoids.

There's a whole lot of cameo scenes in it with the ridiculous yet brutally gore scenes. AV idol: Aya Kiguchi plays as Yoshie Kagusa and Japanese actress (*finally someone not from AV industry) Hitome Hasebe as Kikue Kagusa.

マシンガール (Shyness Machine Girl) [2009]

Shyness Machine Girl (2009 film)

An indirect sequel ala spin-off of the original The Machine Girl has been made to appease fans. This time it is entitle as Shyness Machine Girl and starring Japanese gravure idol Noriko Kijima who also her reprises her supposedly-killed character in the previous film.

The previous heroine Ami Hyuga who was played by Minase Yashiro only returns as short flashbacks footage in the film. When Yoshie (Noriko Kijima) was brought back from the dead by the same mechanics, she vows to seek vengeance upon herself and for Ami's sake.

Asami Miyajima was credited as Asami Sugiura reprises her role as Miki Sugihara to revive Yoshie and modify her to be a living weapon. It's all about vengeance! Like i mentioned in many B-grade film reviews. It's the same theme with different ideas!

But Shyness Machine Girl may not be as good as the original film. But afterall, this film was made by the same director himself Noboru Iguchi, as he tries to explore a different story-style!

Wanna know why it's called Shyness?? This time Yoshie has a heavy sub machine girl up coming out her ass.. just like a black dildo being shove in... Kinda remind me of Astroboy animated film!

Just a couple of days ago, I was reading some blog sites on how to further edit the blog javascript codes. I came across to www.anshuldudeja.com and to my surprise and the Wibiya widget attach to the blog came handy!

And I said to myself that.. "If my friends who still prefer other web browser besides Flock web browser and they even blog on their site and share with friends.. Why not just install Wibiya?"

Vampire Girl vs. Frankenstein Girl (2009 film)

Directed by yet-and-again, the master of horror visual effects Yoshihiro Nishimura as he teams up with Naoyuki Tomomatsu brings us another B-grade film entitle: Vampire Girl vs. Frankenstein Girl (吸血少女対少女フランケン).

The film begins in Tokyo High School and focused on a teenage vampire, Monami (Yukie Kawamura) who falls in love for her classmate, Mizushima (Takumi Saito). Unfortunately for her, Mizushima is already the boyfriend of Keiko (Eri Otoguro).

Trapped within the love triangle, Monami consult Keiko's father who is a mad-scientist with a school nurse as his assistant. Both of them practices lobotomies on the school students as they hope to find the ultimate formula. Keiko's father discovered an ultimate formula of knowing Monami's blood has the power to ressurect the dead.

Eventually Mizushima accepts a chocolate candy which contains Monami's blood that turns him into a vampire. Upon hearing this, Keiko attacks Monami but was thrown off the school roof as Monami dodges the attack. Her unsatisfied death brings back to her father by using the blood solution which then transform her into an unstoppable living dead like Frankenstein.

The ultimate and eternal battle for their love, Mizushima begins!!..

PS: According to SubwayCinema (2009), Eihi Shiina (Audtion & Tokyo Gore Police fame) played as Monami's mother and Ju-On director, Takashi Shimizu acted as the chain-smoking Chinese professor.

Samurai Princess (外道姫) is the gore of 2009. Kengo Kaji brings us sexy Japanese pornography actress and former gravure idol Aino Kishi is the Samurai Princess!

The Princess is back to bare! That ain't no clams on the tits!!

The setting of the era was an alternate reality world of ancient Japan where human androids and human beings live together. These androids were designed and created by an unnamed rogue inventors. But the creator has appeared to be dangerously violent and insane creating monstrously android fusions. One of the creators desperately tried to restore law and order creates an incredible invincible android from the almost-beautiful-dead-princess, who was massacred with her friends by one of the corrupted androids.

No Mercy!

She was brought back to life with a mechanical body installation and implanted with 11 hidden bizarre dangerous weapons. She is humanity only hope. And her mission is ABSOLUTE VENGEANCE.. because now she is Samurai Princess!!

Brown (2009) mentioned that this film under the erotic-grotesque action genre. The reason is Aino Kishi do bare nude throughout the film. Nonetheless the special effects is done by no other than Yoshihiro Nishimura (Tokyo Gore Police).

All these gore film review is related with the other previous film directors as Noboru Iguchi, Yoshihiro Nishimura, Kengo Kaji, Kenta Fukasaku and Takashi Miike are close relations. So there's no doubt who's working on the effects except knowing who's the screenwriter and scriptwriter.
