Why are most people trapped by fears and worries? Because they lack faith! But what is faith? Is it positive thinking? A certain feeling? One's church affiliation? Is it confidence? Or hope? Or the simple belief that Jesus died for your sins? Or is it something far more?<

Every Sunday, hundreds of millions who profess to be Christian assume they are being correctly taught—and that they understand and believe—the truth of the Bible. In reality, almost no one knows even the most basic teachings of God’s Word—or of Jesus Christ. Almost all worship Jesus according to what is commonly believed, without the slightest proof from their Bibles. Thus, the true doctrines of the Bible are unknown to Christianity—and so is the meaning of nearly everything Jesus taught!<

Picture the world around you. Advances in science and technology have never been greater. Vast knowledge has brought awesome progress—while immorality and human degeneration have never been worse.

This world is in deep trouble. How did the world come to be as it is? Why so much poverty, disease, hunger, pollution, ignorance and confusion? Why can the governments of men not get along, avoid war—and find peace and agreement? Why such constant instability, scandal and division among leaders everywhere? Why so much favoritism, antagonism between parties, ethics violations, political arm-twisting and lobbying, infighting, poor judgment, corruption, bribery, misrepresentation—and outright lying—in virtually all national governments? Why are there seemingly endless revolutions and military coups? Why no shortage of demagogues, dictators and revolutionaries, always promising to make things better, yet invariably bringing worse problems and conditions?<

The popular idea of hell as a place of ever-burning torment has frightened countless millions!<

Millions believe that when they die they will “go to heaven.” Is heaven the reward of the saved? Have your departed loved ones gone there? Will you? Do you have proof? Are there plain scriptures to the contrary? Yes---and you are about to hear many!<

The devil has been a subject of interest for millennia. He has been pictured as a ghost, bogeyman, and spook---or as a “devilishly” handsome man in a red suit, with horns and a pitchfork. He has also been portrayed as the nebulous “epitome of all evil”---or the cause of everything bad that people do. Most are familiar with the expression “the devil made me do it.” Some think the Beast of Revelation is the devil, even though the Bible states it is Satan who gives the Beast his power!<

Most preachers and religionists speak of the kingdom of God. But just what is this kingdom---and when does it appear? Is it in heaven? Is it the British Empire?---the universal church?---or the Millennium? Is it “in the hearts of men” or merely the “good within each person”? Millions believe these popular ideas---yet they are ALL wrong! In fact, none of them are even close to right!<

What is "the unpardonable sin"? Many worry they have committed it. We read their letters. But just what is this sin? Do only converted people commit it---or can non-Christians? The answers are not what you think.

Many speak of having been "born again." Millions of Protestants and tens of millions of evangelicals think that after becoming "believers" they have been "born again." Having no idea what the term actually meant, they had been taught that "professing Jesus" was a kind of "new birth"---that they were in some mysterious way "born a second time." It next became their Christian duty to bring others to this belief.

Is God a “Trinity”---3 persons in One Being? Almost all professing Christians answer “yes.” Long the litmus test of traditional Christianity, the triune god is deemed a mystery, unable to be understood.

Where did the Bible come from? What is the background of its origin? Who authored the Bible? Many wonder: Do we have the entire Bible? Some feel we cannot know. Can the Bible’s books be proven? Is God’s Word complete without the Apocrypha or other writings? Does evidence exist that these belong in God’s Word? Many feel the Catholics assembled the Bible. Is this true? What role did the Jews play in compiling the Bible?<

Appalling evils and troubles are increasing around the world. Suffering continues to grow worse. Can humanity survive? More are asking, What is wrong with people? Where can we go for the answers?<

The world is filled with suffering of every kind. In fact, countless millions know little else. Yet God allows this. Why has He not stopped the terrible suffering that afflicts so many, and since men have existed? Is there a reason God does not intervene? Does suffering have a great unseen purpose that can be understood?<

Your life can be full of enjoyment, happiness and abundant living! God intends that you experience these things. Yet people do not know what brings—what causes—the abundant life.

All nations are now rushing toward the conclusion foretold to occur in the "last days." Humanity plunges ahead—blind, pleasure-crazed and largely detached from important world events occurring daily.

The horror of war has wracked the world for thousands of years. It brings terror, destruction, economic upheaval, orphaned children, population displacement, widespread devastation of the land, hunger, disease, untold suffering, misery, despair, injuries, atrocities, death, and even genocide. All of this yields greater hatred and revenge, endless retaliation and more war, because nothing is ever permanently resolved thru military conflict.

The world is exploding with problems. Much knowledge is available about most of them, but little understanding. The breakdown of marriage and the family is a classic example. Seemingly everyone knows it is happening, but no one knows what it means---or what to do about it.

Many wonder if they are being called by God. How can you know? Are feelings sufficient on such a vital matter? What is a calling? What does God’s Word say? You need to ­know.

Everyone wants to be successful. I have never met anyone who wanted to fail. But most have no idea how to achieve success.
