Hoping that by experimenting with photoshop's many crazy filters and options as well as the massive amount of free textures available I will become more comfortable with adding them to my illustrations.

Also, I hate moving. But now it is done, Lui and I will soon have the loveliest studio! :D so hopefully all this experimentation in texture world will have an opportunity to shine in some lovely illustrated fun times.

-of changing all the time. as is always.. steady change. even when it's good change I wish it would stop for a little bit. so when someone asks me "anything new?" I can say "no, nothing. everything is exactly the same way that it was, calm and quiet."

oooh well... moving. going to miss our little oasis of an apartment. very. much.

Probably going to have another unexplainable surge of work. It's so soothing, just to draw and paint without direction or purpose, it's like being a kid. Creating because I really want to. It's good to crave it again.

I am so excited for this new piece!! It makes me feel all Christmas-y and wonderful. Any thoughts on colour, as usual I'm stumped. I was thinking of printing it with just line on nice coloured paper, but that may just be a lazy road to go down.
