Really interesting, and I never knew this little bit of history:
Tour boats ferry people out to the USS Arizona Memorial in Hawaii every thirty minutes. We just missed a ferry and had to wait thirty minutes. I went into a small gift shop to kill time.

In the gift shop, I purchased a small book entitled, "Reflections on Pearl Harbor " by Admiral Chester Nimitz.

Sunday, December 7th, 1941--Admiral Chester Nimitz was attending a concert in Washington D.C. He was paged and told there was a phone call for him. When he answered the phone, it was President Franklin Delano Roosevelt on the phone. He told Admiral Nimitz that he (Nimitz) would now be the Commander of the Pacific Fleet.
Admiral Nimitz flew to Hawaii to assume command of the Pacific Fleet.

He landed at Pearl Harbor on

Christmas Eve, 1941.

There was such a spirit of despair, dejection and defeat--you would have thought the Japanese had already won the war.

On Christmas Day, 1941, Adm. Nimitz was given a boat tour of the destruction wrought on Pearl Harbor by the Japanese. Big sunken battleships and navy vessels cluttered the waters every where you looked.
As the tour boat returned to dock, the young helmsman of the boat asked, "Well Admiral, what do you

think after seeing all this destruction?" Admiral Nimitz's reply shocked

everyone within the sound of his voice.
Admiral Nimitz said, "The Japanese made three of the biggest mistakes an attack force could ever make, or God was taking care of America. Which do you think it was?"
Shocked and surprised, the young helmsman asked, "What do mean by saying the Japanese made the

three biggest mistakes an attack force ever made?" Nimitz explained:
Mistake number one: the Japanese attacked on Sundaymorning.

Nine out ofevery ten crewmen of those ships were ashore on leave.

If those same ships had been lured to sea and been sunk--we would have

lost 38,000 men instead of 3,800.
Mistake number two: when the Japanese saw all those battleships lined in a row, they got so carried away sinking those battleships, they never once bombed our dry docks opposite those ships. If they had destroyed our dry docks, we would

have had to tow every one of those ships to America to be repaired.

As it is now, the ships are in shallow water and can be raised. One tug can pull them over to the dry docks, and we can have them repaired and at sea by the time we could have towed them to America . And I already have crews ashore anxious to man those ships.
Mistake number three: Every drop of fuel in the Pacific theater of war is in top of the ground storage tanks five miles away over that hill. One attack plane could have strafed those tanks

and destroyed our fuel supply.

That's why I say the Japanese made three of the biggest mistakes an attack force could makeor God was taking care of America.
I've never forgotten what I read in that little book. It is still an inspiration as I reflect upon it.

In jest, I might suggest that

because Admiral Nimitz was aTexan, born and raised in Fredricksburg, Texas --he was a born optimist. But anyway you look at it--Admiral Nimitz was able to see a silver lining in a situation and circumstance where everyone else saw only despair and defeatism.
President Roosevelt had chosen the right man for the right job. We desperately needed a leader that could see silver linings in the midst of the clouds of dejection, despair and defeat.
There is a reason that our national motto is, IN GOD WE TRUST
Why have we forgotten?

Sing 'The Star Spangled Banner'

"So with all the kindness I can muster, I give this one piece of advice to the next pop star who is asked to sing the national anthem at a sporting event: save the vocal gymnastics and the physical gyrations for your concerts. Just sing this song the way you were taught to sing it in kindergarten - straight up, no styling.

"Sing it with the constant awareness that there are soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines watching you from bases and outposts all over the world. Don't make them cringe with your self-centered ego gratification. Sing it as if you are standing before a row of 86-year-old WWII vets wearing their Purple Hearts, Silver Stars and flag pins on their cardigans and you want them to be proud of you for honoring them and the country they love - not because you want them to think you are a superstar musician. They could see that from your costume, makeup and your entourage.

Sing 'The Star Spangled Banner' with the courtesy and humility that tells the audience that it is about America , not you. And please remember, not everything has to be sung as a Negro spiritual. We're getting a little weary of that.

are about to control your health care, cap and trade, and the list
goes on and on.

Should we buy them larger screen computers - or -
a ticket home, permanently?

This is one of their 3-DAY WORK WEEKS that we all pay for
(salary is about $179,000 per year).

I support a Law Requiring House and Senate Members to submit to random drug testing, breathalyzer, blood sampling, and body cavity searches before each session, to be paid for by the members themselves! I support legislation that requires them to be about the business of the people while Congress is in session. If they want to play games, let them play on the peoples machines at One Thousand Dollars/minute and that NO electronic devices be allowed into the chambers of Congress Period, except for the Cameras and Microphones that allow us to see and hear their "Crappy Party" Politics. Also, roll back Congressional and Senatorial pay to 1984; George Orwell would be so proud of their antics! Let NO Congressional pay raise occur that is not approved of by WE The People!

Let Congress be in session every other year, so that WE can digest and get rid of the sorry legislation they write, let the next Congress be required to support any new legislation passed by a previous Congress, or it Fails muster!

I am not the only Patriotic American that is tired of the Crap Washington DC sends our way!

This is a true story and the author, Rick Mathes, is a well-known leader in prison ministry.

The man who walks with God always

The Muslim religion is the fastest
growing religion per capita in the
United States, especially in the
minority races!

Last month I attended my annual
training session that's required for
maintaining my state prison
security clearance.
During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers
representing the Roman Catholic,
Protestant and Muslim faiths,
who each explained their beliefs.
I was particularly interested in
what the Islamic had to say.
The Muslim gave a great presentation
of the basics of Islam, complete
with a video.
After the presentations, time was
provided for questions and answers.
When it was my turn, I directed
my question to the Muslim and asked:
'Please, correct me if I'm wrong,
but I understand that most Imams and
clerics of Islam have declared
a holy jihad [Holy war] against the
infidels of the world and, that by
killing an infidel, (which is a command to all Muslims)
they are assured of a place in heaven.

If that's the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel?'
There was no disagreement with my
statements and, without hesitation,
he replied, 'Non-believers!'
I responded, 'So, let me make sure
I have this straight. All followers of
Allah have been commanded to kill
everyone who is not of your faith so
they can have a place in heaven.
Is that correct?'
The expression on his face
changed from one of authority
and command to that of a
little boy who had just been
caught with his hand
in the cookie jar.'
He sheepishly replied, 'Yes.'

I then stated, 'Well, sir, I have
a real problem trying to
imagine The Pope commanding
all Catholics to kill those of
your faith or Dr.Stanley ordering
all Protestants to do the same
in order to guarantee them
a place in heaven!'
The Muslim was speechless!

I continued, 'I also have a
problem with being your friend
when you and your brother clerics
are telling your followers to
kill me! Let me ask you a question:
Would you rather have your Allah,
who tells you to kill me in
order for you to go to heaven,
or my Jesus who tells me to
love you because I am going
to heaven and He wants you
to be there with me?'

You could have heard a pin
drop as the Imam hung his
head in shame.

Needless to say, the organizers
and/or promoters of the
'Diversification' training seminar
were not happy with my way
of dealing with the Islamic Imam,
and .

In twenty years there will be
enough Muslim voters in the
U.S. to elect the President!

I think everyone in the U.S.
should be required to read this,
but with the ACLU, there is no
way this will be widely
publicized, unless each of us
sends it on! This is your chance
to make a difference....

Dear Senator Cornyn,

It is with gravest concern that I write to you today concerning the recent appropriation of weapons by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that can only be understood as a bold threat of war by that agency, and the Obama administration, against the citizens of the United States of America. To date, DHS has been unwilling to provide to you, the elected representatives of the People, justification for recent purchases of almost 3,000 mine-resistant ambush-protected (MRAP) armored personnel carriers, 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition (with associated weapons), and other weapons systems, when, in fact, the DHS has no war mission or war making authority within the limits of the United States of America.

Significant is the fact that at the same time the Obama administration is arming his DHS for war within the limits of the United States against the People of the United States in accordance with his 2008 campaign speech claiming,

We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that weve set. Weve gotta (sic) have a civilian national security force thats just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded [as the United States military]Candidate Barack Obama, 2008.

The Obama administration is deliberately defunding, overextending, and hollowing the Department of Defense; the only legitimate agency of the U.S. government with a war mission.

This act of the Obama administration stands as a glaring threat of war against our nations citizens! This act of the Obama administration can only be understood as a tyrannical threat against the Constitution of the United States of America! If left unresolved, the peace loving citizens who have sworn to defend the United States Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and domestic are left no option except to prepare to defend themselves, and the U.S. Constitution, against this Administrations coup against the People and the foundations of liberty fought for and defended for the past 238 years. We have no choice if we honor our oaths.

The only proper response to this threat against the American people is for the representatives of the People, the members of the U.S. House and Senate, to demand in clear terms that the Administration cannot ignore, that the Department of Homeland Security immediately surrender their newly appropriated weapons of war to the Department of Defense (DoD). Further, since the DHS has assumed a position in the Administration to enforce the tyrannical acts of this president against the People of the United States against the limits of the United States Constitution, it remains for the United States Congress to exercise its limiting power in the balancing of powers established by our founding fathers, to disestablish and dissolve the DHS as soon as possible. One needs only to look to the rise of Adolf Hitler, and his associated DHS organizations, the SA and the SS, of 1932-1934, to see the outcome of allowing an agency of government this kind of control over the free citizens of a nation. The people of Germany could not have imagined, until it was too late, the danger of allowing a tyrant this kind of power. We must not be so naﶥas to think it will not happen to us as well if we remain passive toward this power grab by the Marxist Obama administration!

Finally, for more than two centuries the nation has lived in peace at home because of the protections of our legitimate military and the many appropriate state and federal law enforcement agencies, supported by Constitutional courts. We stand today at a cross-road. Will we allow this present Administration to overthrow our United States Constitution and its legal processes to amend injustices, or, will we honor our obligations to defend the Constitution against a domestic enemy? Our Constitution lays out the proper methods of resolving our differences; and it does not include its overthrow by a rogue agency of a Marxist leadership at home. You, sir, are our constitutionally elected agent to defend our Constitution at home. We are counting upon you. We remain aware, however, of this present threat and will not expose ourselves as an easy prey to the authors of the destruction of our nation.

I know that this letter demands much of you. We elected you because we, the citizens of the State of Texas, believe that you are up to the task at hand and will, against all threats, honor your oath and office. We are also writing to your fellow members of the House and Senate to stand in integrity with the Constitution and against this present threat by the Obama administration and his DHS.

We refuse to surrender our Constitution or our nation!

For some reason, people have difficulty structuring their arguments when arguing against supporting the currently proposed immigration revisions. This lady made the argument pretty simple. NOT printed in the Orange County Paper....................

Newspapers simply won't publish letters to the editor which they either deem politically incorrect (read below) or which does not agree with the philosophy they're pushing on the public. This woman wrote a great letter to the editor that should have been published; but, with your help it will get published via cyberspace!

My wife, Rosemary, wrote a wonderful letter to the editor of the OC Register which, of course, was not printed. So, I decided to "print" it myself by sending it out on the Internet. Pass it along if you feel so inclined. Written in response to a series of letters to the editor in the Orange County Register.

Dear Editor:
So many letter writers have based their arguments on how this land is made up of immigrants. Ernie Lujan for one, suggests we should tear down the Statue of Liberty because the people now in question aren't being treated the same as those who passed through Ellis Island
and other ports of entry.

Maybe we should turn to our history books and point out to people like Mr. Lujan why today's American is not willing to accept this new kind of immigrant any longer. Back in 1900 when there was a rush from all areas of Europe to come to the United States, people had to get off a ship and stand in a long line in New York and be documented. Some would even get down on their hands and knees and kiss the ground. They made a pledge to uphold the laws and support their new country in good and bad times. They made learning English a primary rule in their new American households and some even changed their names to blend in with their new home.

They had waved good bye to their birth place to give their children a new life and did everything in their power to help their children assimilate into one culture. Nothing was handed to them. No free lunches, no welfare, no labor laws to protect them. All they had were the skills and craftsmanship they had brought with them to trade for a future of prosperity.

Most of their children came of age when World War II broke out. My father fought along side men whose parents had come straight over from Germany , Italy , France and Japan . None of these 1st generation Americans ever gave any thought about what country their parents had come from. They were Americans fighting Hitler, Mussolini and the Emperor of Japan . They were defending the United States of America as one people.

When we liberated France , no one in those villages were looking for the French-American or the German American or the Irish American. The people of France saw only Americans. And we carried one flag that represented one country. Not one of those immigrant sons would have thought about picking up another country's flag and waving it to represent who they were. It would have been a disgrace to their parents who had sacrificed so much to be here. These immigrants truly knew what it meant to be an American. They stirred the melting pot into one red, white and blue bowl.

And here we are with a new kind of immigrant who wants the same rights and privileges. Only they want to achieve it by playing with a different set of rules, one that includes the entitlement card and a guarantee of being faithful to their mother country. I'm sorry, that's not what being an American is all about. I believe that the immigrants who landed on Ellis Island in the early 1900's deserve better than that for all the toil, hard work and sacrifice in raising future generations to create a land that has become a beacon for those legally searching for a better life.. I think they would be appalled that they are being used as an example by those waving foreign country flags.

And for that suggestion about taking down the Statue of Liberty , it happens to mean a lot to the citizens who are voting on the immigration bill. I wouldn't start talking about dismantling the United States just yet.

There is a lot of misunderstanding in the minds of U.S. citizens about the FairTax. This piece aims to dispel some of that.

The FairTax would fix numerous financial problems the U.S. faces today and adoption of the FairTax would have a unifying effect for all citizens.

Where, when

The FairTax would be included in the marked selling price of all new goods sold at every retail outlet, and would be collected at the cash register as ones checks out.

A FairTax would also be included in the service provided by a plumber, air conditioning service company, dentist, doctor or any other service provider and will be collected at the point of sale or service.

There is to be no tax on the sale of used goods -- items which were taxed before. Nothing is to be taxed more than once.

Want a monthly tax refund?

Well it’s not a tax refund exactly; it’s even better. It’s called a Prebate.

It’s what makes the FairTax truly progressive. The Prebate comes to every resident “head of household” having a valid Social Security number. The FairTax Prebate is determined only by “size of household.”

The 2013 figures for a 2-adult family are shown in the table.

“Does everyone receive this Prebate; even the very rich?” The answer is, yes! The FairTax treats everyone exactly the same.

Some haven’t given the FairTax serious consideration. It’s often thought of as an ordinary sales tax which weighs heavily on the poor.

But the FairTax is not just a sales tax. It has a Prebate which is important for two reasons.

• The rebate, more properly called the Prebate, makes the FairTax a progressive tax system.

• The Prebate shows compassion for the poor and economically challenged. The FairTax eliminates the direct taxation of income from wages, which is very hard on the working poor.

Any income tax withheld from their paycheck might be returned as a refund in the next year. Not so with the 7.65% FICA payroll tax. This is also withheld from their paychecks. Most workers, including all the working poor, will realize an immediate 7.65% increase in disposable income.

The federal government will no longer deduct any money from any worker’s paycheck. Plus, economists predict lower prices of U.S. produced goods because the FairTax eliminates hidden and embedded taxes estimated to be an average of 22 cents per dollar.

With the Prebate, no individual or family pays federal taxes on purchasers of goods and services up to the poverty level.

The disposable income of the entire working class will improve substantially under the FairTax.

The attached figures show the yearly taxes paid (as a percentage of spending on new goods and services) by a family of 2 adults and 2 children under the FairTax system.

From the attached table, the poverty level for this family of 4 is $31,020.

If the family spends exactly this figure on new goods and services, no money they have earned goes to fund the federal government.

Very low spenders may realize a net gain with the Prebate being more than the FairTax tax they would pay. Another benefit: the tax punishment for working hard and saving has been removed. The FairTax also removes the reward for one’s debt.

With the FairTax, working families could earn and taxably spend $46,000 and still pay less in federal taxes than the 7.65% FICA tax alone under the existing income tax!

Disposable income will increase with the Prebate and the elimination of pay deductions for income and payroll taxes.

Consider too, with lower prices resulting from removal of hidden taxes, the increased disposable income will purchase even more with the FairTax.

You’re thinking, “This is just too good; it can’t possibly be true!” but it is true; in part because now tourists, those in the country illegally and the more than $1 trillion underground economy (which pays no tax with the income tax system) will pay taxes just like you.

Call your representative and senators. House Ways and Means committee chairman Dave Camp has promised significant change in the tax code this year. The best “significant change” would be adopting the FairTax Act.

In the Muslim faith a Muslim man can marry a child as young as 1 year old and have sexual intimacy with this child. Consummating the marriage by 9.

The dowry is given to the family in exchange for the woman (who becomes his slave) and for the purchase of the private parts of the woman, to use her as a toy.

Even though a woman is abused she can not obtain a divorce.

To prove rape, the woman must have (4) male witnesses.

Often after a woman has been raped, she is returned to her family and the family must return the dowry. The family has the right to execute her (an honor killing) to restore the honor of the family. Husbands can beat their wives 'at will' and he does not have to say why he has beaten her.

The husband is permitted to have (4 wives) and a temporary wife for an hour (prostitute) at his discretion.

The Shariah Muslim law controls the private as well as the public life of the woman.
In the West World ( America and Britain ) Muslim men are starting to demand Shariah Law so the wife can not obtain a divorce and he can have full and complete control of her. It is amazing and alarming how many of our sisters and daughters attending American Universities and British Universities are now marrying Muslim men and submitting themselves and their children unsuspectingly to the Shariah law.

By passing this on, enlightened American and British women may avoid becoming a slave under Shariah Law.

Ripping the West in Two.

Author and lecturer Nonie Darwish says the goal of radical Islamists is to impose Shariah law on the world, ripping Western law and liberty in two.

She recently authored the book, Cruel and Usual Punishment: The Terrifying Global Implications of Islamic Law.Darwish was born in Cairo and spent her childhood in Egypt and Gaza before immigrating to America in 1978, when she was eight years old. Her father died while leading covert attacks on Israel . He was a high-ranking Egyptian military officer stationed with his family in Gaza .

When he died, he was considered a "shahid," a martyr for jihad. His posthumous status earned Nonie and her family an elevated position in Muslim society.

But Darwish developed a skeptical eye at an early age. She questioned her own Muslim culture and upbringing.. She converted to Christianity after hearing a Christian preacher on television.
In her latest book, Darwish warns about creeping shariah law - what it is, what it means, and how it is manifested in Islamic countries.

For the West, she says radical Islamists are working to impose sharia on the world. If that happens, Western civilization will be destroyed. Westerners generally assume all religions encourage a respect for the dignity of each individual. Islamic law (Sharia) teaches that non-Muslims should be subjugated or killed in this world.

Peace and prosperity for one's children is not as important as assuring that Islamic law rules everywhere in the Middle East and eventually in the world.

While Westerners tend to think that all religions encourage some form of the golden rule, Shariah teaches two systems of ethics - one for Muslims and another for non-Muslims. Building on tribal practices of the seventh century, Shariah encourages the side of humanity that wants to take from and subjugate others.

While Westerners tend to think in terms of religious people developing a personal understanding of and relationship with God, Shariah advocates executing people who ask difficult questions that could be interpreted as criticism.

It's hard to imagine, that in this day and age, Islamic scholars agree that those who criticize Islam or choose to stop being Muslim should be executed. Sadly, while talk of an Islamic reformation is common and even assumed by many in the West, such murmurings in the Middle East are silenced through intimidation.

While Westerners are accustomed to an increase in religious tolerance over time, Darwish explains how petro dollars are being used to grow an extremely intolerant form of political Islam in her native Egypt and elsewhere.

(In twenty years there will be enough Muslim voters in the U.S. And Britain To elect the President by themselves! Rest assured they will do so... You can look at how they have taken over several towns in the USA .. Dearborn Mich. Is one... And there are others....) ( Britain has several cities now totally controlled by Muslims)

I think everyone in the U.S. And Great Britain Should be required to read this, but with the ACLU, there is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us sends it on!

It is too bad that so many are disillusioned with life and Christianity to accept Muslims as peaceful.. Some may be but they have an army that is willing to shed blood in the name of Islam.. The peaceful support the warriors with their finances and own kind of patriotism to their religion. While America and Britain are getting rid of Christianity from all public sites and erasing God from the lives of children the Muslims are planning a great jihad on America .. (and Britain ) ..

For the next 60 seconds, set aside whatever you're doing and take this opportunity! Let's see if Satan Can stop this.

THE (SCIENTIFIC) DEATH OF JESUS

At the age of 33, Jesus was condemned to death . At the time Crucifixion was the "worst" death. Only the worst criminals were condemned to be crucified. Yet it was even more dreadful for Jesus, unlike other criminals condemned to death by Crucifixion, Jesus was to be nailed to the
Cross by his hands and feet. Each nail was 6 to 8 inches long. The nails were driven into his wrist, not into his palms as is com- monly portrayed. There's a tendon in the wrist that extends to the shoulder. The Roman guards knew that when the nails were being hammered into the wrist that tendon would tear and
break, forcing Jesus to use his back muscles to support himself so that he could breath.

Both of his feet were nailed together, thus he was forced to support himself on the single nail that impaled his feet to the

cross. Jesus could not support himself with his legs because of the pain so he was forced to alternate between

arching his back then using his legs just to continue to breath. Imagine the struggle, the pain, the suffering, the courage.

Jesus endured this reality for over 3 hours. Yes, over 3 hours!

Can you imagine this kind of suffering? A few minutes before he died, Jesus stopped bleeding. He was simply pouring water from his wounds. From common images we see wounds to his hands and feet and even the spear wound to his side

but do we realize his wounds were actually made in his body. A hammer driving large nails through the wrist, the feet overlapped and an even larger nail hammered through the arches, then a
Roman guard piercing his side with a spear. But before the nails and the spear, Jesus was whipped and beaten. The whipping was so severe that it tore the flesh from his body. The beating so horrific that his face was torn and his beard ripped from his face. The crown of thorns cut deeply into His scalp. Most men would not have survived this torture. He had no more blood to bleed out, only water poured fr om his wounds. The human adult body contains about 3.5 liters (just less than a gallon) of blood. Jesus poured all 3.5 liters of his blood;

he had three nails hammered into his members; a crown of thorns on his head and, beyond that, a Roman soldier who stabbed a spear into his chest.

All these without mentioning the humiliation he suffered after carrying his own cross for almost 2 kilometers, while the crowd spat in his face and threw

stones (the cross was almost 30 kg of weight, only for its higher part, where

his hands were nailed). Jesus had to endure this experience, to open the

Gates of Heaven, So that you can have free access to God. So that your sins
could be "washed" away. All of them, with no exception!
Don't ignore this situation.

JESUS CHRIST DIED FOR YOU!

He died for you! It Is easy to pass jokes or foolish photos by e-mail, but when it comes to God, sometimes you feel ashamed to forward to others because you are worried of what they may think about you. God has plans for you, show all your friends what he experienced to save you. Now think about this! May God bless your Life!

over the House of Representatives and the Senate, at the very

start of the 110th Congress. Democrats!

The Democrat Party controlled a majority in both chambers for

the first time since the end of the 103rd Congress in 1995.

For those who are listening to the liberals propagating the

fallacy that everything is "Bush's Fault", think about this:

January 3rd, 2007 was the day the Democrats took over the

Senate and the Congress.

At the time:

The DOW Jones closed at 12,621.77

The GDP for the previous quarter was 3.5%

The Unemployment rate was 4.6%

George Bush's Economic policies SET A RECORD of

52 STRAIGHT MONTHS of JOB GROWTH!

Remember the day...

January 3rd, 2007 was the day that Barney Frank took over the

House Financial Services Committee and Chris Dodd took over

the Senate Banking Committee.

The economic meltdown that happened 15 months later was in

BANKING AND FINANCIAL SERVICES!

Unemployment... to this CRISIS by (among MANY other things)

dumping 5-6 TRILLION Dollars of toxic loans on the economy

Bush asked Congress 17 TIMES to stop Fannie & amp; Freddie - starting in

2001 because it was financially risky for the US economy.

And who took the THIRD highest pay-off from Fannie Mae AND

Freddie Mac?

And who fought against reform of Fannie and Freddie?

OBAMA and ALL of the Democrats in Congress!

So when someone tries to blame Bush...

REMEMBER JANUARY 3rd, 2007....

"THE DAY THE DEMOCRATS TOOK OVER!"

Budgets do not come from the White House. They come from Congress and

the party that controlled Congress since January 2007 is the Democrat Party.

Furthermore, the Democrats controlled the budget process for 2008 & 2009

as well as 2010 & 2011.

In that first year, they had to contend with George Bush, which caused them

to compromise on spending, when Bush somewhat belatedly got tough on

spending increases.

For 2009 though, Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid bypassed George Bush entirely,

passing continuing resolutions to keep government running until Barack Obama

could take office. At that time, they passed a massive omnibus spending bill to

complete the 2009 budgets.

And where was Barack Obama during this time?

He was a member of that very Congress that passed all of these massive spending

bills, and he signed the omnibus bill as President to complete 2009.

If the Democrats inherited any deficit, it was the 2007 deficit, the last of the

Republican budgets. That deficit was the lowest in five years, and the fourth

straight decline in deficit spending. After that, Democrats in Congress took

control of spending, and that includes Barack Obama, who voted for the budgets.

If Obama inherited anything, he inherited it from himself. In a nutshell, what

Obama is saying is I inherited a deficit that I voted for and then I voted to expand

the deficit four-fold since January 20th.

There is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us sends it on!

It seems to me that the Left believes that competition is something to be reviled, ridiculed mercilessly and stomped upon. It somehow does not fit their diminished view of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness nor should we dash the Hopes, Dreams nor Fragile Psyche of anyone above the age of Abortion; where they have seen nothing of human value or dignity, but only a mass of tissue!

The Left's mantra; Let's let everyone do what they want, while holding no regard for the moral, good, helpful, just and Right! They see no reward for those who hold moral principles or tenets and believe in Rule of Law!

They may say that you and I are barbaric in the lust for sport; hunting, fishing, golf, football, baseball, skiing, shooting, basketball, shooting clays, polo, auto racing, horse racing, and a plethora of other worthwhile activities of our own choosing! They always want to stop us from doing the things that people have done over many years as traditions! The Left would have us idle in our own free time, were it up to them, We Would Have No Free Time Nor FREEDOM!

Competition would become a non-event; there would be nothing of the kind in a society full of "blanks"!

It starts early, some never make it out of the womb alive. If you do, by the time you are indoctrinated with the pabulum from the Left, you are at the ripe age of four or five; watched hours upon hours of dumb-down video or TV and participated in a reinvention of culture, designed to make you stupid to reality!
Everybody gets a Trophy! No One Loses, everybody goes home the same; homogenized like the milk We used to drink! You will Vote for anything that talks through a teleprompter and smiles a black or white smile, and takes your candy even while you're looking and makes you feel good about it, sort of!

Choose up sides and smell arm pits always has a winner! But not anymore; Now, WE All Lose! There is no more room to squiggle out of our dilemma, WE have allowed culture to die a thousand deaths before our Grandchildren have even had a chance to Live the American Dream!

Now they are calling the money we put in an entitlement when we reach the age to take it back.

If you calculate the future invested value of $4,500 per year (yours & your employer's contribution) at a simple 5% interest (less than what the Government pays on the money that it borrows), after 49 years of working you'd
have $892,919.98.

If you took out only 3% per year, you'd receive $26,787.60 per year and it would last better than 30 years (until you're 95 if you retire at age 65) and that's with no interest paid on that final amount on deposit!
If you bought an annuity and it paid 4% per year, you'd have a lifetime income of $2,976.40 per month.

Another thing with me.... I have two deceased husbands who died in their 50's, (one was 51 and the other one was 59 before one percent of their social security could be drawn.
