Today is the day the online phenomenon KONY2012 is supposed to come to life, with Invisible Children activists plastering posters and KONY2012 art all around their neighborhoods. This is all in response to an online video revealing to many vile abuse of children by Joseph Kony and the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) in Uganda. This organisation creates child soldiers after having them murder their own parents and other family members among other nauseating, despicable and wicked human rights abuses.

There has been talk of it all being a con of course. However you dissect the campaign, the real story lies with whether an online video can inspire hundreds of thousands of human beings to take to the streets simultaneously in order to make Joseph Kony famous. And bring about action by governments to tackle these seemingly invisible conflicts.

If this campaign is about to do the unthinkable and people actually do take to the streets all over the world in towns and cities, we may well be ushering in a new world order. Which is why it'll probably fail and children will continue being abused by the sickening LRA. Though the year is 2012 and Invisible Children say they have 300,000 participants so tBg very much hopes it succeeds.

East Midlands Conservative Future have trumped the Boris Mayoral campaign, when it comes to the food on offer whilst working hard for votes. East Midlands CF is offering activists a FREE lavish Chinese buffet with all the trimmings. This is in stark contrast the the dietary options recently reported on this website on the London Mayoral campaign trial.

tBg was shocked and worried at the state of activists minds on the door step after being fed a diet of fizzy pop and chocolate by the Johnson team.

A representative for East Midlands Conservative Fuiture told tBg; "If activists turn up to the East Midlands Conservative Future Social Action day on Saturday 28th April, they can enjoy a well earnt chinese buffet, free of charge with many thanks to the regions Tory MEP Emma McClarkin".

Former Conservative Future National Executive, now proud U-KIPPER Alexandra Swann has seemed to offended Political Scrapbook, with a quite superb example of UKIP thought & theory. Swann says that; "...allowing people to vote on how other people’s money is spent — if they don't contribute — is dangerous".

London Spin reported that Political Scrapbook had turned on Swann and Columnist for The Telegraph, (before going on to produce the rubbish idea sarcastically) quite incredibly says, "Swann does have a point". The post by Robert Colvile states: "This is, in fact, the most convincing argument against the Lib Dems' (and now Tories') cherished ambition to take the low-paid out of tax. If you're not contributing (at least directly, rather than via VAT etc), you're more likely to vote for free-ride policies based on spending the taxes that other people are paying."

tBg is pretty sure low paid people still pay National Insurance, VAT and duty excise among others and don't yearn for "free-ride policies".

Unemployed people really are a burden on the welfare state, as the money they receive and spend is recycled and not new, thus not helping the economy a jot. However on a principled note, to not allow these people a vote stands against everything a democracy is about. On an actual ground-level practical note, it might be government that is causing these people to be unemployed.

Disabling unemployed people to change their situation via democratic political methods is in fact just plain stupid and would probably cause violence and create unemployed terrorists or something.

Very embarrassing for UKIP. Conservative Future Chairman, Ben Howlett, must be praising the stars above that Swann floated to the other boat.

Government lift millions of poor out of tax.

Britain has today seen its Personal Workers Tax Allowance reach £8,105, its highest ever level. This means you can earn up to that amount before you have to begin paying Income Tax.

The move and ongoing policy, heralded by Chancellor Osborne in his Budget 2010 and by The Guardian, headlining, "Income tax removed for lowest paid". Also in 2011 and this year, as the main event, as it will effect 24 million households. Osborne said Personal Tax Allowance will rise further to £9,205 next April, lifting millions of low paid people out of tax altogether.

Chloe Smith, the Treasury Economic Secretary, said: "The Government's actions mean that from the beginning of the new tax year, 24 million households will be £6.50 a week better off. We're taking millions out of tax altogether by raising the personal allowance, which will put up to £126 cash back in people's pockets.

The need to tackle the huge deficit means we have had to take tough decisions, such as on tax credits. But we've taken those decisions in the fairest way possible, meaning more than 15 times as many people gain rather than lose from this week's changes." (Source.)

The Coalition hope to reach their target of raising the Personal Tax Allowance to £10,000 by the end of the Parliament.

There is concern tonight about the current CF diet whilst on the Mayoral campaign trail. CF activists are being fed a barrage of chocolate and fizzy pop (pictured above).

The campaign dietary options on offer are thought to be that bad it is effecting some members brain function whilst on the doorstep. Those feeling the effects of a refined sugar-based diet have forgotten Boris' policies on the door step and digressed into talk of last nights Apprentice and Aubergines.

One CF'er, Ronaldno McDoonald, told tBg: "I'm so embarrassed, I thought the lady got fired. Aubergine toothpaste is a silly idea anyway."

Swann and The Botanist.

Alexandra Swann was back in London yesterday, to attend the Freedom Association’s event with former Tory MEP Roger Helmer, who defected to UKIP with her. Swann, who skipped to UKIP last month, labeled the Tories at her scarcely detailed lunch as "the enemy".

Swann met her "enemies" at The Botanist in Chelsea, which is thought to be a regular hang out for influential CF'er Patrick Sullivan. Although there is no proof suggesting the former CF National Campaigns Director and former Bow Group Officer, Sullivan, was there. It raises suspicions however that Swann has been forced to hang with her 'enemies' for fear of another game of Bingo or Bridge.

One CF'er told tBg - "The fact that Alexandra is still meeting up for lunch with members of the party she publicly betrayed speaks volumes about the social scene at UKIP, which could be considered lively if you like to play bingo and bowls in your spare time. Not a single one of the spineless cowards who encouraged her to chuck away a promising Conservative Party career have followed her over to UKIP."

Shapland in Tory April fool.

Former Liberal Youth leader, Martin Shapland today joined the Tory Party in a Statement on his blog. April fool! Oh, pretty shit isn't it. Well, he's probably drunk and you know what they say about telling the truth when drunk, or jokes always have hint of truth...

Though a thoroughly awful April Fool tinted with seeming truth, Shapland does make a point on media handling. Which has definitely been on the slide since the big two men, Steve Hilton and Andrew Coulson, have moved on. Making for awful poll results recently.

Rumours, back-stabbing and insults. All CF traits that seemed to have made Louise Powell step aside from her Tory ambitions in recent days in a letter to CCHQ, citing and lambasting the current Chairman and his behaviour. Powell stepped aside from her role as a member of the National Executive as Young Professionals Officer at Conservative Future.

It seems that some members of London CF are intent on disrupting current Chairman Ben Howletts' term with in-fighting, resignations and disillusionment, maybe forcing a snap election.

tBg yesterday reported that London CF Chairman, Nicolas Clark, wasn't really all that interested in the Osborne event this past Monday. As he spent alot of the evening cosying up to, who we now know to be his deputy, Nabil Najjar. There seemed to be suspicion surrounding this type of behaviour at such a big event.

tBg has received more leaked documents which tell a story of calculated disorder by the top men at London CF. Top CF'er Michael Bull has now also been implicated in the dubbed 'Poison Pen Letters' escapade, by London Spin.

One source said: "Well its not all that surprising, it may seem to some Howlett basically fixed the election." Could a snap election occur if more resignations were to come Howletts', and CCHQs' way? Or more blunders like this.

Nicolas Clark, Chairman of London CF, has been captured having a cosy sit-in with a mysterious partner. It has been suggested Clark maybe plotting with the co-conspirator at the, Chancellor George Osborne, CF event that took place on Monday night.

An eye witness told tBg - "They were sat near the foliage at the rear end of the garden for a fair portion of the evening, they looked deep in conversation. Who knows what they were plotting."

Hmmm...

UPDATE 19:38 - One tBg source seems to have linked Clark with a letter to CCHQ complaining about Ben Howlett. Quite amusing letter, here's the link - Letter of resignation by Louise Powell because of National Chairman Howletts' behaviour. Maybe he paid for the stamp or something.

Former CF National Executive Deputy Chairman and close aide to Tory youth Chair' Ben Howlett, Alexandra Swann, and declared herself a UKIP supporter. Sources says Swann was positively skipping about the room in a "Disney like state" when speaking about UKIP leader Michael (or Nigel?) Farage.

Swann is a former National Executive member at Conservative Future and is heavily involved with current Chairman Ben Howlett. This must be a very embarrassing moment for the Tory Party but more so for Ben Howlett. Swann also did various Commons odd jobs for David Morris, MP for Morecambe and Lunesdale.

UKIP bound Swann says: "I have been a libertarian for a long time... But I don't know if I have ever been a true Conservative. UKIP is more along the lines I believe in. Because of the coalition, the Conservative Party is in a difficult position. There are a lot of un-Conservative policies." CF'er Stephen Hoffman has savaged his anonymous critics in an EXCLUSIVE here at tBg. Hoffman was running for Conservative Future Deputy Chairman (political), when he came under sustained online attacks and smears. Hoffman responds to these election attacks below.

"I didn’t want to get into a slagging match after the election, its undignified and would lower the tone of an election that even I, in heated debates, have tried to keep at a high quality. I had constantly let my feelings known about the election turnout, the London bubble and the problem people have with “Characters” in CF and the constant smearing of my name. I would also like to make it clear that what I am writing has nothing to do with the successful election candidates. I wish all those including who won in the elections the best of luck. I will work with them and anyone else in the Conservative Family to help in my own small way strengthen the Conservative and Libertarian Cause.

Unfortunately I cannot give an entirely positive message, as despite all pleas for restraint, people acting under the name anonymous have made some unacceptable personal attacks. I yield to know one in my support for freedom of speech and of course this means freedom to offend, but to attack someone you’ve never met or pretend to have not heard from or spoken to is a low blow. It is what cowards do. And therefore I feel I need to respond in an open and direct way. After all, I don’t want the lasting impression of me in CF to be given by a couple of people, who are so brave that they won’t even reveal their own names. UK still key partner in EU as Cameron rating is up.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has told the Bundestag that the U.K is still play a key role in the EU saying: "I believe it's (Britain) an important partner in the European Union. Great Britain has its own vital interest that the eurozone will overcome its own financial crisis".

Last week David Cameron vetoed a new EU treaty which would create a European fiscal union. More money goes through the City of London on a daily basis than any other city in the world. It is right that a British Prime Minister protects this from financial rape by the EU.

A YouGov survey today put Cameron's Conservatives in 41&, with the Labour Party opposition lagging on 39%. Some may expect a wider lead with such positive coverage for this Prime Minister this past week. We will wait for more polls.

Ben Howlett has come under bombardment today over the Conservative Future Election turnout of just 3%.

Ben Howlett yesterday claimed a landslide victory with 54% of the vote. This blog yesterday reported that this victory is not so surprising as most voters would have been recently active(ated), thus recruited by Howlett. His kinda Tory.

This blog has also consistently campaigned for a national focus to get the other nineteen thousand members, that did not vote, active. Indeed people like former Chairman candidate, Dominic McDonough, need to find the other 19,500 members in the UK.

Politics Editor of the Commentator and Tory Bear Editor and former CF'er, Harry Cole, had another swipe at Howlett with this tweet.

The New Executive.

Chairman Ben Howlett was today voted in by a landslide 54% of votes, for a second term, by Conservative Future members around the UK and the world. His closest rival in the end was Nick Southworth coming second.

Dominic McDonough finished third in a disappointing result for the right-wing of the organisation. Indeed Ben Howlett has seen over an increase in membership that is not innately right-wing, for the purposes of connecting with popular thinking. This is the same course as Cameron. This is the right course for CF and the Tory Party as a whole. This increase doesn't make a landslide victory surprising at all, it is however an unprecedented second term in office for Howlett. Not since the days of Paul Bristow has CF elected a chairman twice. No one can take that away from him.

Dominic is however a fine example of how right-wing Tory politics could be like. His dynamic thinking and bright ideas are still needed in Our Party.

Sarah-Jane Sewell was elected Deputy Chairman (Membership), taking over from super CF'er Clare Hilley. Sarah-Jane has some enormous boots to fill, the task must be daunting for such a young lady yet tBg thinks she could one day be a bright shining star, given the right guidance. As is sometimes not the case.

Philip Smith was elected Deputy Chairman (Political). tBg really did want Hoffman in this role, however Philip Smith possess some spectacular qualities. Confident and intelligent the sky is the limit for this young man.

As CF'ers up and down the country vote for their Chairman for the next year, two of the candidates have locked horns over how much effort they are putting into the Tory campaigns across the country.

Howlett has gone on the attack and says McDonough lied to CF members about his plans for this weekend. Dominic says he is only humnan and got his days mixed up. In a retort EXCLUSIVE to tBg Dominic McDonough rips in to Howlett saying:

" I was on the campaign trail in Sunderland yesterday morning which is why I didn't arrive at YBF till late last night. I did indeed address YBF earlier today and thoroughly enjoyed taking questions from CF'ers attached to the organisation. It's just a shame that Ben (Howlett) didn't bother to turn up when he was in the area and invited.

He (Howlett) might have learned something by talking to people from outside of his inner circle and hearing a fantastic speech from Eric Pickles.

Conservative Future Chairman candidate, Dominic McDonough didnt turn up to the Feltham and Heston campaign day. He said he had a local action day to attend when asked to go by current Chairman and 2011 candiate, Ben Howlett.

tBg can EXCLUSIVELY reveal that McDonough didn't do either, but instead made a speech at a YBF event. tBg has recieved a screen shot of a conversation between two CF'ers. CF'er 2 is asked where Dominic and other candidate for CF Chairman, Nick Southworth are with regard to the campaign days.

Howlett outshines PPCs in by-election.

Conservative Future Chairman, Ben Howlett, today out-shined prospective Tory parliamentary candidates just by showing up to a Feltham and Heston campaign day.

Howlett, who is known for his hands on approach, spent the day working hard for the Party. It is thought CCHQ are considering reprimands for those PPCs' on the approved list that didn't turn up, some may be struck off.

Hoff to tackle CCHQ elite.

Conservative Future Deputy Chairman (Political) candidate, Stephen Hoffman, says he is ready to face down CF elitism in a statement on his website. Hoffman thinks CF is successful in London regarding events, but this is not replicated across the rest of the country.

Hoffman says: "The problem is that this experience (social events, debates etc) hasn’t been repeated across the country. On the campaign trail I’ve spoken to many CF members and they’ve all had similar stories. We’ve held great events, despite the barriers put in our way by CF elites, or we have had some fantastic plans vetoed by Local Associations who are scared of offending the Party leadership."

In a statement to top blog, gossiptory, Hoffman said: "I think it is time that CF was made fun for everyone, not just those in London. I was lucky to live near London last year and attended fantastic events where the drinks were flowing and the debate extremely free, despite those at the elites in CCHQ trying to shut the debate down. I want to spread this experience across the country and work with NGOs, Charities, Think Tanks and Celebrities so this can be made possible."

Cameron uses EU veto.

Prime Minister David Cameron today stood up for the interests of Britain in Europe. It's been a while since any Government has dared cause a stir in the EU, finally we have a Prime Minister unwilling to sell us down the river, anymore than we already have been.

The Prime Minister vetoed a new treaty that would create a greater fiscal union, with the EU setting the budget rules. It is thought that all 26 other members of the European Union will instead agree to a new "accord" setting out the tougher budget rules.

This is nothing short of the set up of an actual European Super-State. Not to mention Cameron really doesn't want any referendums on the EU right now that might implode the Tory Party.

Oh, and Miliband can nibble on tBg's teets.
