Soleggiata, colorata, piena di vita e di storia, incantevole con il suo vulcano. Questa è la Sicilia che ho vissuto in questi giorni. Quattro giorni trascorsi a Taormina con mia mamma, tra il mare e la città vecchia. Era la prima volta che la visitavo.. e sicuramente non l'ultima ;-)

Sunny, colorful, full of life and history, enchanting with its vulcan. This is Sicily. I spent four days in Taormina with my mom, between the sea and the old town. It was the first time that I visited this beautiful island.. and definitely not the last ;-)

Essendo farmacista e lavorando in farmacia, negli ultimi periodi siamo stati bombardati dalla domanda:
'Ho sentito che esiste una nuova crema.. mi pare si chiami BB cream.. mi sa dire di cosa si tratta?'
E da qui nasce il mio post. Un post diverso dal solito ma che tratta una moda, un boom del momento nel campo della cosmetica.

Che cos’è una BB Cream?

BB Cream è la forma abbreviata del termine Blemish Balm Cream.

Sebbene sia uno dei prodotti più venduti in Asia è un tipo di crema nato in Europa (Germania).
Nella sua versione originale essa aveva il compito di proteggere, calmare e rigenerare la pelle sensibile dei pazienti che avevano subito un trattamento laser, rivelandosi utile anche per nascondere rossori e schiarire cicatrici legate al trattamento.

Alcuni vip coreani iniziarono quindi ad usarla come cosmetico, scatenando una sorta di moda.

Le attuali BB Cream in vendita in tutto il mondo sono quindi nate così, come “adattamento” cosmetico di un prodotto soprattutto curativo.

Quali sono le caratteristiche di una BB Cream?

La principale caratteristica di una BB Cream è il fatto di essere un prodotto multi-funzione.
Essa infatti:
- Ha un SPF non inferiore a 20 che protegge la pelle dal sole
- Svolge un’azione idratante e nutriente
- Essendo colorato, copre rossori e lievi imperfezioni
- Previene l’invecchiamento della pelle
- Dona un aspetto sano e luminoso

Essendo nata per le pelli sensibili con imperfezioni, è in teoria adatta ad ogni tipo di pelle.

Come si applica una BB Cream?

La BB Cream va applicata sul viso pulito come una normale crema idratante, massaggiando e distribuendo il prodotto in modo uniforme.

La BB Cream sostituisce davvero il fondotinta?

Si tratta una crema colorata quindi poco coprente. Potrebbe essere paragonata ad un fondo leggero.

Se avete una pelle problematica (macchie, acne diffusa, ecc…) la sola BB Cream non vi darà un risultato uniforme. In questi casi, potreste usarla come base, valutare il risultato e ritoccare eventualmente con correttore o fondotinta le zone più critiche.

Quali sono le migliori BB Creams?

Al momento è ancora difficile da dire. Stanno piano piano spopolando e ci vorrà un po' di tempo per eleggere le migliori.

Intanto i brand che hanno lanciato la proprio BB Cream sono MAC, Dior, Estee Lauder, Clinique e Bobbi Brown. Tra i più economici troviamo Maybelline, Revlon, Vichy e La Roche Posay.

Tuttavia i brands più noti di BB Cream non sono quelli appena citati bensì Skin79, Dr. Jart, Missha, Skinfood e Hanskin.

What is a BB Cream?

At the moment it is still difficult to say. It will take a little time to elect the best.

Schloss Shilberg

Giovedì scorso sono stata invitata al party di apertura del nuovo negozio Diesel a Zurigo nel bellissimo castello Schloss Shilberg alle porte della città. Il mio outfit? Total white.

Dopo parecchio tempo che non tornavo nella città in cui ho vissuto 5 anni per i miei studi, andarci per un'occasione del genere era davvero un'emozione fantastica!

Last Thursday I was invited to the opening party of the new Diesel store in Zurich in the beautiful castle Schloss Shilberg. My outfit? Total white.

It was long time since I haven't been in the city where I lived for 5 years for my studies and go for such an occasion was really nice!
